함정의 해수 배관소음 저감을 위한 흡음형 소음기 연구 (A Study on the Absorptive Silencer for Reducing Noise Propagate in Seawater Pipes on Ship)

  • Fluid-borne noise produced by seawater circulating pumps propagates through the seawater connected pipes and radiates from the hull opening of a ship. This noise causes the increases of underwater radiated noise and self noise of ship. To reduce the noise propagation through the seawater connected pipes, absorptive silencer must be needed. In this paper, theoretical model to analyze the transmission loss of absorptive silencer was presented and the design parameters of absorptive silencer were verified. Theoretical calculations were performed according to a thickness, a length, an internal pressure and mechanical properties of its absorptive material in order to analyze the characteristics of absorptive silencer. From the theoretical calculation results, the absorptive silencer was manufactured and transmission loss was measured in the test facilities. The results of theory and measurement are compared and discussed.

  • In order to design a propeller with high efficiency and excellent cavitation performance, theoretical and experimental studies on the cavitation and noise characteristics according to the blade section shape are essential. In general, sheet cavitation, bubble cavitation, and cloud cavitation are the main causes of hull vibration and propeller surface erosion. However vortex cavitation, which has the greatest influence on the noise level because the fastest CIS in ship propeller, has been researched for a long time and studies have been conducted recently to control it. In this experiment, the development process of cavitation was measured by using three dimensional wings with two different wing section and wing tip shapes, and the noise level at that time was evaluated. In addition, we evaluated the relationship between cavitation inception and hydrodynamic force using three component load cell and we measured the velocity field of wing wake using LDV.

고유진동수의 간이 추정식을 이용한 보강판 구조물의 동특성의 최적변경에 관한 연구 (A Study on Optimum Modification of Dynamic Characteristics of Stiffened Plate Using Simplified Equation of Natural Frequency)

  • There is a purpose of this study for the proposal of the optimum technique utilized for the vibration design initial step. The stiffened plate structure for the ship hull is made for analysis model. To begin with, dynamic characteristics of stiffened plate structure is analysed using FEM. Main vibrational mode of the structure is decided in the analytical result of FEM. The simplified equation on the natural frequency of the main vibrational mode is induced. Next, sensitivity analysis is carried out using the simplified equation, and rate of change of dynamic characteristics is calculated. Then, amount of design variable is calculated using this sensitivity value and optimum structural modification method. The change of natural frequency is made to be an objective function. Thickness of panel, cross section moment of stiffener and girder become a design variable. The validity of the optimization method using simplified equation is examined. It is shown that the result effective in the optimum modification for natural frequency of the stiffened plate structure.

고속선(高速船) 선체고유상하진동(船體固有上下振動)의 초기추정(初期推定) 방법(方法) (A Method for the Preliminary Estimation of Vertical Natural Vibations of High Speed Boats)

  • For the preliminary estimation of the vertical hull natural frequency, the Schlick's or Schlick-type formulae have been traditional ones and are still in common use today. Some investigators have made their efforts, based on statistical data of ships' system parameters, to extend the applicability of Schlick-type formulae to higher modes, or to utilize the Rayleigh method. For instance, the work done by Dinsenbacher et al.[5] belongs to the former and that of Nagamoto et al.[6] to the latter. In a part of his previous paper[7], the author, investigating the case of a cargo ship of medium size, suggested that provided statistically simplified curves such as trapezoid of system parameter distributions are available in hands, direct utlization of an ordinary computer program can be also an another convenient method by which we can obtain both natural frequencies and normal mode shapes. In this paper, to confirm the feasibility of the above suggestion, four high speed boats are investigated. The system parameters of them are originally given in [5]. The computer program used here is one confiled based on a calculation method derived from Myklestal-Prohl modeling of hull, transfer matrix formulation and an extended Gumbel's initial value method for solving frequency equation. The results of the investigation show that the direct calculation based on statistically oriented and reasonably assumed trapezoidal mean curves of system parameter distributions can give us natural frequencies within about 5% deviation up to several-noded modes and normal mode shapes serviceable at least up to 4- or 5-noded modes in comparision with those based on actual distributions of system parameters. For this simplified method the actual data required for input are only of ship length, displacement, total added mass, bending and shear rigidity at amidship. They are available at the early stage of design. By this method we can also easily trace variations of vibration characteristics in the course of ship design cycles.

비선형을 고려한 파랑중 선체 운동과 강도 응답에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Response of the Motions and Strength of Ships in Waves taking account of Non-linerities)

  • In this paper, the authors investigate theoretically the motion and longitudinal strength of ships among waves talking account of the effects of nonlinearities such as the hull shape, bottom emergence, and hydrodynamic impact. Incidentally the ship is treated as an elastic beam in heading wave condition regarding characteristics of slamming and whipping-according to the variation in the range of a quarter length of the ship forward and the increase of the elastic modes up to 4-th vibration mode were investigated by the present theory. Calculations are performed for 97m container ship and its validity is confirmed by a series of model tests. Conclusions obtained are as follows; 1) Acceleration and pressure estimated by the present theory are in good accordance with experiments. 2) The present non-linear theory may be applied for estimating longitudinal bending moment of ships in slamming and whipping conditions. 3) In investigation of the characteristic in response according to shape variation for parts under draft and vow-flare in the range of a quarter length of the ship forward, dynamic responses due to the former were much more conspicuous than those due to the later. 4) In the maximum bending moment, the considering case up to 2-the mode are larger, about $10{\sim}15%$, than that up to 4-th mode.

  • 본 연구에서는 실선에 적용된 알루미늄 하니콤 샌드위치 판 (AHSP)을 저자가 제안한 심재의 형상이 피라미드인 알루미늄 샌드위치 판의 구조적 특성 및 진동특성을 검토해 보았다. 알루미늄 피라미드 샌드위치 판(APSP)의 기초 자료로 쓰일 수 있게 심재의 각도변화, 높이변화 및 면재와 심재의 두께변화에 따른 구조적 특성을 검토한 결과 APSP가 강도 및 강성에서 우수함을 보였으며, 질량대비 큰 강성 때문에 고유진동수도 다소 크게 평가되었다.

  • Due to the larger and high-speed vessels recently constructed, output and speed of the engines for propulsion or power generation is increasing. These high-power and high-speed engine of the ship is becoming as a major contributor causing excessive noise and vibration. Other fittings as well as equipment installed on board, it makes equipment failure or other defect by resonance. This causes a lot of M/H(Man Hour) for repairs and the reliability of the company is invading even be negative because the clients give much comment. Thus, it's being studied for any fittings installed on board to maintain the safe operation and to prevent any problem during the performance in any operating conditions. In this study, it was investigated to solve these problems for the supports of the various fittings for easy installation-related support that each type of intensity and shape and manufacturing method using structural analysis program(DNV Nauticus Hull 3D Beam). Namely, it would be applied to the very large crude carriers in consideration of mechanics of materials of the support equipment by providing the fact that dynamics analysis of the structural characteristics of the equipment and the support of the production installation is easy and productivity can be high standards for geometry and thereby to simplify the analysis task to design changes at the same time and to minimize the reinforcement for the supports.

  • 수중 청음기는 진동하는 물체 위에 설치되어 다양한 외부 잡음 원이 유입되는 환경에 노출되어 있다. 외부 잡음 원으로는 수중 청음기가 설치된 구조물 자체의 진동, 프로펠러 잡음, 그리고 유동 유기 잡음들이 있고, 이들 외부 잡음원은 실제 강도가 상당히 높아서 센서의 정확한 작동에 장애가 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 외부 잡음에 무관한 고 정밀도, 저 잡음 특성을 갖는 수중 청음기를 개발하기 위하여 유한 요소법(FEM)을 사용하여 잡음 전달 특성의 분석 및 air pocket과 음향 감쇠층의 다양한 조합으로 이루어진 개선된 구조의 수중 청음기를 설계하고, 내 잡음성 평가를 하였다. 그 결과 센서 측면 하단부에 잡음 원이 위치할 경우 가장 큰 잡음 신호로 작용하므로 구조를 변경한 결과 기존 수중 청음기에 비해 59% 이상 내 잡음성을 증진 시켰다.

해상풍력발전기 설치선박의 수정 동적증폭계수 추정식 (Modified Empirical Formula of Dynamic Amplification Factor for Wind Turbine Installation Vessel)

  • 최근 친환경, 신재생 에너지 수요에 따라서 해상풍력발전 분야는 빠른 성장세와 설비의 대형화에 따른 전용설치선박의 관련 기술개발이 요구되고 있다. 해상풍력설치선박(WTIV: Wind Turbine Installation Vessel)은 설치 작업 시 선체를 파도의 영향을 받지 않는 높이로 이동시키고 모든 환경하중은 레그가 담당한다. 특히 파랑하중은 불규칙파로 구성되어 있기 때문에, 정확한 동적응답특성을 파악하는 것은 아주 중요한 문제이다. 이러한 동적응답해석은 간이법의 하나인 단자유도법을 널리 활용하고 있으나, 불규칙 파를 고려하지 못하는 제약조건이 있다. 따라서 현재 설계 시 불규칙 파에 대한 시간영역 계산이 가능한 다자유도 계산법을 사용하고 있다. 그러나 다자유도 계산법에서 시간영역 해석은 정도 높은 계산 결과를 제공하지만, 데이터의 수렴도가 민감하고 복잡성에 있어 설계 시 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 다양한 변수를 기준으로 한 시간영역 해석을 통하여 불규칙 파의 동적응답 특성을 표현 할 수 있는 동적증폭계수 추정식을 개발하였다. 기존 다자유도 모델 대비 계산시간 단축 및 정확도 확보를 확인하였다. 개발된 동적증폭계수 추정식은 WTIV 및 유사 구조물 설계에 활용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

시계열 신호 통계량 기반 캐비테이션 신호 탐지 (Cavitation signal detection based on time-series signal statistics)

  • 선박 프로펠러 캐비테이션 소음이 발생하면 수중 방사 소음의 수준이 급격히 상승하는데, 특히 함정의 경우에 피탐지 확률이 증가해 치명적인 위협 요인이 될 수 있다. 따라서 함정의 생존성 향상을 위하여 캐비테이션 신호를 정확하고 신속하게 판단하는 것이 매우 중요한데, 종래에는 센서로 계측한 음압/진동 준위가 기준값 이상이면 캐비테이션 발생으로 판단하는 기술과 데몬 기법을 통해 캐비테이션 발생 여부를 판별하는 방법이 주로 수행되었다. 그러나 이와 관련된 기술은 캐비테이션의 발생 현상에 대한 물리적 이해와 사용자의 주관적 기준을 기반으로 수행되며 여러 절차를 거치기 때문에 캐비테이션 신호를 조기에 자동으로 인식하는 기법의 개발이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 선체에 부착된 음향 센서를 이용하여 계측된 음향 신호로부터 캐비테이션 신호의 특징을 반영한 간단한 통계량 기반 특징을 추출하고 이로부터 캐비테이션 발생 여부를 자동으로 판단하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 기법의 성능은 센서 수와 모형 시험 조건에 따라 평가하는데, 단일 센서로 계측된 신호에 캐비테이션의 특징을 충분히 반영하여 훈련하면 캐비테이션 신호의 발생 여부를 판단 가능함을 확인했다.
