Since ports play a role of gateway to the sea and hinterlands, it is essential to analyse the networks of shipping and inland when evaluating the function and development of a port. The container port of Gwangyang, starting to operate its facilities in 1998, has developed itself as a hub port. Using the data of shipping schedules of Korean ports and the measurement of centrality in sociology, this study analyses the process of world-wide shipping network expansion in Gwangyang and concludes some implications including earlier development of shipping networks due to incentives to shipping companies. Although Gwangyang port also has been expanding its inland network through developing trucking, railway transport, and coastal shipping, it has weakness in inland network as in the cases of interruption in 2004, resumption in 2009 and re-interruption in 2012 at coastal shipping. In 2000s the expansion of shipping and inland networks at the newly built container ports such as Pyungtaek, Ulsan, and Gunsan has enticed the competition among Korean ports at each hinterland. Nevertheless, the operation of Gwangyang container port is considered to affect indirectly the relocation of some manufacturers including Samsung Electronics. Studies on interrelation between development of container port and geographical demography of manufacturers are needed to assess the effects of container port on regional economy.

X-MAC reduces transmission delay and energy consumption by using a short preamble instead of the existing long preamble. To solve the problem of X-MAC, this paper proposes a new MAC protocol called Express-MAC. The wireless sensor network is mainly used for the purpose of gathering event data or situation information. Especially, the transmission pattern of the sensor network with the purpose of event detection such as intrusion detection is very intermittent as well as successively occurring when a single event takes place in most cases. By reflecting sensor network's key transmission patterns as above, EX-MAC has used multi-hub path's path reservation system and awake section's transmission time reservation method in data transmission when the first event takes place. The awake time reservation in transmission path has improved successive data transmission's end-to-end delay, and it has also increased efficiency in terms of energy consumption by reducing the preamble length of data transmission and reception node.

VoIP technology is Eight New Services among Ubiquitous-IT839 strategies. This paper tested wiretapping or VoIP service in connected a soft phone and LAN and WAN sections, Internet telephones and a device. IP PBX, a banner operator network to have been connected to VoIP Internet network. As a result of having experimented on wiretapping of VoIP networks, Vulnerability was found. and a wiretapping by attacks of a hacker was succeeded in a terminal and proxy and attachment points of a VoIP network like a hub to follow a CVE list. Currently applied a security plan of an each wiretapping section in viewpoints of 6 security function of Access Control. Confidentiality, Authentication. Availability, Integrity. Non-repudiation in VoIP networks named to 070. Prevented wiretapping of contents by the results, the AES encryption that executed wiretapping experiment about a packet after application of a security plan. Prevented wiretapping, and kept security and audit log. and were able to accomplish VoIP information protection to network monitoring and audit log by an access interception and qualification and message hash functions and use of an incoming refusal.

By using the trade in value-added(TiVA) database and employing social network analysis, this paper analyzes changes in global trade to be triggered by the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the US-China trade war. The main results are summarized as follows. First, the BRI will help maintain China's core position as the world's manufacturing hub, and will strengthen Europe's service industry capabilities within the global value chain(GVC) network. Second, the US R&D industry, US wholesale and retail industries, and Germany's automobile industry were considered the most influential industries in the GVC network during the 1995-2011 period, and will retain their status until 2049, when the US-China trade war and the BRI are reflected. Third, the increase of the number of communities shows that the BRI might spur fragmentation of the production process. Finally, community structures of inter-industry trade relations, including China's electronics industry, Germany's automobile industry, and US R&D, show important features that are related to the competiveness of each country's service industries.

This paper is the part I of the full study about improved structure of fully interconnected ATM switch to develop the small sized switch element and practical implemention of switch network. This part I paper describes about proposed switch structure, performance evaluations and some of considerations to practical implementation. The proposed structure is constructed of two step buffering scheme in a filtered multiplexer. First step buffering is carried out by small sized dedicated buffers located at each input port. And second step buffering is provided by a large sized common buffer at the output port. To control bursty traffic, we use speed up factor in multiplexing and priority polling according to the levels of buffer occupancy. Proposed structure was evaluated by computer simulation with two evaluation points. One is comparision of multiplexing discipline between hub polling and priority polling. The ogher is overall which should be considered to improve the practical implementation.

Recently, government agencies such as MKE Ministry of the small and midsize businesses and technology development requirements, technical difficulties to solve the Institute of Cast cooperation by establishing a network hub system Institute of Cast diffusion and commercialization of the R & D and are encouraged to promote. SME supporting with the experting technologies required to small and medium-sized businesses through "A comprehensive support program production site" of ISTK(Korea Research council Industrial Science & Technology) having been performed from 2010 to 2012, a pilot project in 2009. In this paper, customized technology services program in the past two years run will be discussed with the performance and improvement. Comprehensive support program that ends the production site in 2012 onwards the needs of maintenance difficulties of the railroad companies to build a support system and its ongoing research about the future plans to do.

Recently, the change of shipping and port environment has required the new strategy from the liners, terminal operators, ports. The ports of call in the North American and European line also has changed as the Chinese ports made rapid advance. This seems to result from the fact that the trend of the container transportation by sea has developed the traditional concept, called port-to-port system that directly links between a port and another port into the network with complicated hierarchical structure reflecting costs, efficiency, and strategy of the Mega Carrier. This paper suggests the factors for Busan port to become the hub port of northeast Asia by analyzing the change of the liners' strategy along the change of the shipping and port environment, the global management of the operator of container port, and the amount of containers flowing in the northeast Asia.

We consider a postal transportation planning in the transportation network of the form of hub and spoke. Given mail sorting centers and an exchange center, available vehicles and amount of mails to be transported between mail sorting centers, postal transportation planning is to make a transportation plan without violating various restrictions. The objective is to minimize the total transportation cost. To solve the problem, a tabu search algorithm is Proposed. The algorithm is composed of a route construction procedure and a route improvement procedure to improve a solution obtained by the route construction procedure using a tabu search. Computational results show that the proposed algorithm can solve practically sized problems within a reasonable time and the quality of the solution is acceptable.

In this study, to investigate the effect of process variables such as reduction in area, semi-die angle and the rectangular ratio to the corner filling which influences the dimensional accuracy of the final product in the drawing of the cluadrangle rod from a round bar, it has been simulated by three dimensional rigid-plastic finite element method. In order to reduce the number of simulation artificial neural network has been introduced. Also, through the experimental investigation, the present results have been implemented on the industrial product. In results, the main process variable is the combination of the semi-die angle in case of the irregular shaped drawing process and reduction in area in the event of regular shaped drawing process, respectively.

One of the most fundamental problems in business is ranking items with respect to profit based on historical transactions. The difficulty is that the profit of one item comes from its influence on the sales of other items as well as its own sales, and that there is no well-developed algorithm for estimating overall profit of selected items. In this paper, we developed a product network based on association rule and an algorithm for profit estimation and item selection using the estimated profit ranking(EPR). As a result of computer simulation, the suggested algorithm outperforms the individual approach and the hub-authority profit ranking algorithm.
