노후 주거 관련 의식에 기초한 한국 베이비붐 세대의 노후 주거대안 제안 (A Suggestion of Housing Alternatives for Korean Baby Boom Generation Based on Their Housing Related Consciousness)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the diverse situations and housing related consciousness affecting baby boom generation's housing and to propose new possible housing alternatives for Korean baby boom generation for their old ages. Surveys were used to conduct 1:1 interviews with the baby boom generation. This study analysed the baby boom generation's housing related consciousness regarding living in old age with/apart from their children, sense of responsibility to their children and parents, expectations of support from their children in old age, current preparedness for old age, reasons for difficulties in realizing plans for housing in old age, and housing values in old age in order to examine this generation's diverse view in relation to preparations for housing in old age. Based on the results of the analysis of variables of housing consciousness in relation to old age by each characteristic of the baby boom generation conducted in investigations of the present study thus explained, housing alternatives in old age were 1)family exchange-type housing in old age 2) multihabitation-type housing in old age 3) housing in old-age with workplaces.

  • The purpose of the study was to suggest the housing alternatives for the elderly from the viewpoint of aging in place. The study was intended to present the alternatives on the basis of the concept of group home and shared housing. In order to achieve it, first, the concept and characteristics of group home and shared housing were examined. Then, the living conditions of the elderly and the home sharing related needs of them were examined. The subjects were 201 older persons whose age was more than 65 years and lived in detached houses. Results were as follows; 1) It was identified that group home and shared housing were acceptable to the subject aged. 2) The modified group home which consisted of less than 10 individual detached houses and common area was presented as an alternative for the elderly. The individual ones were existing ones which the elderly lived in. The common area included of common kitchen, dining room, bathroom, and living room for about 10 old persons. The common area can be provided by building a new one and remodeling the existing building for other purpose or community center for the elderly. The detached houses which had spare bedrooms can be shared by another old persons. This alternative would be economic and useful to the elderly.

실버타운 개발을 위한 서비스환경 평가요인에 관한 연구 (A Research on the Service Environment Evaluation Elements for Development of the Silver Town)

  • The purpose of this research is to example the general trend of the service environment evaluation of the silver town and classify based on the service environment evaluation to suggest a effective method and alternatives fur development companies. The survey population of this study focused on 40s and 50s' middle aged both genders living in the Seoul and national capital region, we used random sampling method. The analytical methods used in this study were frequency, mean, standard deviation, factor analysis, Chi-Squae analysis, ANOVA, cluster Analysis, post-hoc estimation (Duncan test), To verify the reliability of each measure, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used. As a result of classifying the environment evaluation elements, it was classified into 5 groups for the differentiating strategy on each group. The groups are: life support service type, medical and health support service type, cultural support service type, indifference type, and food support service type.

고령자가 인지하는 생활환경의 고령친화정도 - 부산광역시 물리적 환경을 중심으로 - (The Degree of Age-Friendliness of Living Environments Perceived by the Aged - Focused on the Physical Environments of Busan Metropolitan -)

  • 고령친화적인 환경은 고령자의 자립생활을 위한 여건을 조성해 줄 뿐 아니라 장애인, 아동, 임산부 등은 물론 일반인에게까지도 편리한 생활환경을 제공해 주는 이점이 있다. 본 연구는 부산 거주 고령자가 인지하는 부산시 물리적 생활환경의 고령친화정도를 파악하고 고령자의 특성에 따라 고령친화도가 어떠한 차이를 보이는지를 규명하였다. 본 연구는 부산지역 16개 구에 거주하는 60세 이상 고령자 525명을 대상으로 일대일 면접방법을 이용하여 조사하였다. WHO의 고령친화도시 가이드라인 8개 영역 중 물리적 환경영역에 속하는 3개 영역인 야외공간과 건물, 교통, 주택영역과 관련된 34개 항목의 고령 친화도를 4점 척도를 이용하여 조사하였다. 조사결과 고령자는 3개 영역의 물리적 생활환경의 고령친화도가 중간 정도 수준이라고 인지하고 있어 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 3개 영역 중 특히 주택영역에 대한 고령 친화도는 가장 낮은 것으로 나타나 고령자 주택의 개선을 위한 방안마련이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 고령자가 인지하는 주변 생활환경의 고령 친화도에 영향을 미치는 고령자 특성은 경제수준, 주택유형, 주택소유상태, 건강상태인 것으로 나타나 고령친화적인 생활환경을 계획할 때 이들 특성에 대한 고려가 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

노인의 인지연령과 주거공간의 인테리어 스타일과의 관계 - 침실과 거실공간을 중심으로 - (The Relationship Between Interior Style of Residential Space and the Elderly' Cognitive Age - Focused on Bedroom and Living Room -)

  • Many housing alternatives and design guidelines for the elderly have been suggested along with the rapid increase of old persons. However, most of them focused on the spatial composition and fixtures. They do not address on interior style which affects on interior mood. The interior style is especially important to the elderly who spend most of their time in indoor space, such as housing unit or nursing home. On the base of these backgrounds, the purpose of this study is to examine what interior style of bedroom and living room where the elderly lives are and whether they are significantly different depending on their cognitive ages, or not. The subject were 202 old persons who lived in Busan. Their ages were more than 65 years. They were interviewed by using 3D images of bedroom and living room. Each one consisted of three interior styles; Korean traditional style, Western classical style, and modern style. The results were as followings; The interior style of bedroom and living room which the old persons lived were different depending on the elderly's cognitive ages. The younger the old persons' cognitive ages were, they lived in bedroom or living room of modern style. Also, the older their cognitive ages were, they lived in bedroom or living room of Korean traditional style. These results show that the cognitive age of the old persons affect the characteristics of interior design which they live. Also, it implies that the elderly are not one homogeneous group, but a heterogeneous one.

어린이집 사례분석에 의한 연령별 보육실의 흥미영역 특성분석 (Analysis on the Characteristics of Activity Areas in Classrooms of Childcare Centers Depending on Age Groups)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the characteristics of activity areas according to the age difference and provide the alternatives for space planning of activity areas in classroom of childcare centers. This study used the content analysis method for field survey data collected from 36 classrooms of 9 childcare centers in the Daejeon area. Floor plans were converted to Autocad drawings to analyze the characteristics of activity areas. The results of this study were as follows; 1) In case of 0 to 2-year-old classrooms, they had 6 activity areas such as gross-motor area, role play, block building, language, creative expression, exploration/manipulation area. The activity area with the most low frequency was gross-motor area. 2) In case of 0 to 2-year-old classrooms, the size of activity area was in order of gross-motor area > role play > block building > language > creative expression > exploration/manipulation area. In case of 3 to 5-year-old classrooms, the size of activity area was in order of language > art > role play > math > block building > science > tone and rhythmic area. 3) The central areas with easy access in 0 to 2-year-old classrooms were Large-motor and Imaginary Play Areas. Also, more isolated areas were Manupulatives and Block Areas. The central areas with easy access in 3 to 5-year-old classrooms were Arts, Numbers and Manupulatives. While more isolated areas were Music, Movement and Science Areas.
