임부의 내분비계 장애물질 노출저감화행동의 영향요인 (Influencing Factors of Behavior of Reducing Exposure to Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals in Pregnant Women)

  • Purpose: This study attempted to determine the factors related to behaviors of reducing exposure to endocrine disrupting chemicals (BRE to EDCs) in pregnancy, based on the PRECEDE model. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted with participants (N=239) who met the medical records and eligibility criteria from the Women's Hospital and Public Health Center. Data were collected using a specially-designed questionnaire based on the PRECEDE model and included BRE to EDCs predisposing factors, reinforcing factors, and enabling factors. The data were analyzed using the chi-square test, independent t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients and a hierarchical multiple regression analysis. Results: In Model I it was found that participation in prenatal education influenced the BRE to EDCs significantly; and a regression showed that the determinant variables accounted for 3.4%. In Model II, the predisposing factors of perceived barriers of BRE to EDCs and environmental self-efficacy were added. It was shown that they significantly influenced BRE to EDCs in the order named, and a regression revealed that increases in the determinant variables accounted for 22.5%. In Model III, to which enabling factors were added, the information acquisition experience of BRE to EDCs interacted significantly with BRE to EDCs and a regression showed an increase in the determinant variables accounting for 25.3%. Conclusion: The results of this study, the content of endocrine disruptors must be included in the prenatal care education program for pregnant women, and it should be composed of contents that can reduce the perceived obstacle to BRE to EDCs, enhance the environmental self-efficacy, and provide the information in regard to reducing exposure to EDCs.

저소득 재가 노인의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 문헌 분석 (Factors Influencing the Quality of Life in Low- Income Elders Living at Home: A Literature Review)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the current state and trends of factors influencing the quality of life in low- income elders living at home. Methods: To carry out this study we established the patient, intervention, comparison, outcomes (PICO) strategy, reviewed 241 published documents from both national and international electronic databases, and finally selected 9 references based on inclusion and exclusion criteria alone. The quality of selected references was assessed using 15 questions. Two reviewers independently examined titles and abstracts and assessed whether each met the predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: The following factors were significantly associated with quality of life in low- income elders: (1) demographic factors such as number of children, income, and age; (2) health - related factors such as joint exercise capacity, activities of daily living/instrumental activities of daily living, health perception, health promotion behavior, and depression; and (3) socio environmental factors such as family support, community-based service program, leisure activity, and the number of neighborhoods involved. Conclusion: The results of our study provide a definite basis for the development of a policy strategy to improve the quality of life in elders with low income and we hence strongly recommend that any strategy to improve the quality of life in low-income elders be based on the results of our study.

가정과교사의 교사 효능감 측정도구 타당도 검증 (Verification on Validity of Teacher Efficacy Scale in Home Economics Teachers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 Tschannen-Moran(2000)이 개발한 Ohio State Teacher Efficacy Scale(OSTES)를 중등학교 가정과교사를 대상으로 교사 효능감 하위 요인들을 알아보고, 확인적 요인분석을 통해 교사 효능감 문항들의 타당성과 신뢰성을 규명하여 교사 효능감 문항들의 모형 적합성을 검증하는데 있다. 먼저 교사 효능감의 요인들에 대한 심리 측정학적 타당성을 검증하기 위해 263명의 가정과교사를 대상으로 교사 효능감 요인의 신뢰도와 요인 구조를 검사하였다. 중등학교 가정과교사의 교사 효능감 요인을 분석한 결과, 하위요인은 학급운영 효능감, 요구대처 효능감, 교수전략 효능감, 환경지원 효능감, 학습지원 효능감으로 나타났다. 그리고. 요인구조로 나타난 문항들의 요인 적합성을 판단하기 위해 교사 효능감의 5개 요인에 대한 확인적 요인 분석을 실시한 결과, 5개 하위요인이 타당한 것으로 지지되었다.

친환경 지능형 건축 Component system 개발을 위한 요소기술 분석 (Analysis of key technology for the development of environmentally-friendly intelligent housing component system)

  • 전 세계적으로 환경에 대한 관심이 고조되는 가운데 각 산업에서의 환경보호를 위한 노력이 꾸준히 진행되고 있다. 건설분야에서도 환경보존 을 노력이 지속되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 친환경성, 고내구성, 가변성, 갱신성능 그리고 쾌적성 등의 종합적인 성능을 갖춤으로써 미래형 건축물의 기본요소가 될 수 있는 친환경 지능형 건축 Component system 제안을 위한 요소기술 분석에 초점을 맞추었다. 친환경 지능형 건축 Component system 개발을 위해 요구되는 성능을 파악한 후 그 성능을 구현시키기 위한 요소기술을 분석한 결과, SI주택과 Home Automation 기술이 주요 요소기술로 도출되었다. 그리고 이론 및 문헌 고찰을 통해 도출된 요소기술의 개념 및 개발동향에 대하여 대해 살펴본 후 최종적으로 이러한 기술요소의 융합을 통한 친환경 지능형 건축 Component system 을 제안하였다.

아동비만에 영향을 미치는 일반요인 및 식이섭취 실태에 대한 비만군과 대조군의 비교 연구 -인천시내 초등학교 중심으로- (A Comparative Study of Obese Children and Normal Children on Dietary Intake and Environmental Factors at an Elementary School in Inchon)

  • The purpose of this survey was to investigate the relationship among obese children, dietary intake and environmental factors. Therefore, this survey compared obese children with normal children on dietary intake and environmental factors. The survey were 110 obese children and 110 normal children whose age, height, and sex were same as the obese children of 21 elementary school in Inchon. The statistical analysis of data was completed using SAS program. The results were summarized as follows : 1) The student's obesity was related to parent's obesity and number of their siblings. There were significant differences between obese groups and normal group for these two factors. 2) Meal time of the obese group showed more irregularity than that of the normal group. Otherwise, the normal group were more "piclity" about special food than the obese group(p<0.05). Also obese children showed unconsious eating while reading or watching TV(p<0.01). The normal group attended physical education class more eagerily the obese group(p<0.001). There was no significant difference between obese children and normal children for learning habits. 3) Obese children shoed higher intake of nutrients compared to normal children. Among all the nutrients, minerals and vitamins showed significant differences. Therefore, further study on obese children and their intake of minerals and vitamin is needed. Also, in order to prevent factors which influence obesity, nutrition education at home as well as school was needed.as needed.

도시지역 초등학교 저학년 학생들의 호흡기계 증상 유병률에 영향을 주는 환경위험요인 (Prevalence and environmental risk factors for respiratory symptoms among elementary school children in a city)

  • PURPOSE: The aim of our study was to assess the prevalence of respiratory symptoms and to determine their environmental risk factors in school children living in a city where traffic is particularly heavy. METHODS: From November 12th to November 19th, 2002, we sent questionnaires to parents for children's health and environmental factors, and ninety eight percent (516) of parents responded. RESULTS: The lifetime prevalence of chronic respiratory illness was 12.2% and 13.2% for wheeze, and 6.6% for physician diagnosed asthma. Using multiple logistic regression model, we found that family history of asthma(OR=3.47, 95% CI 1.36-8.78), atopy dermatitis(OR=5.48, 95% CI 2.37-12.66), and pets at home(OR=3.22, 95% CI 1.26-8.23) were associated with chronic respiratory illness in last 12 months. We also found that family history of asthma(OR=3.28, 95% CI 1.16-9.31), atopy dermatitis(OR=2.89, 95% CI 1.11-7.54), and short distance between the house and road(OR=2.85, 95% CI 1.03-7.87) were associated with asthma in last 12 months. CONCLUSIONS: Elementary school children in a city had a relatively high prevalence of chronic respiratory illness and symptoms. In addition to genetic factors, pets at home and outdoor air pollution are associated with respiratory illness and Symptoms in school children.

대학생의 사회적 책임 인식과 기업의 사회적 책임 신뢰가 지속가능 식생활에 미치는 영향 (Effect of University Student's Awareness of Social Responsibility and Trust in Corporate Social Responsibility on a Sustainable Diet)

  • This study examined the influence of social responsibility awareness (economic and social-environmental responsibility) and trust in corporate social responsibility on sustainable diets. The subjects of the study were 468 university students. The main research results were as follows. First, the social responsibility awareness of the study subjects was 4.03±0.72 points for economic responsibility and 3.48±0.81 points for social-environmental responsibility. An awareness of economic responsibility showed differences according to gender. Trust in corporate social responsibility was 3.62±0.61 points, and there was no statistical significance based on gender. Second, the level of a sustainable diet was food safety and consideration (4.06±0.63), knowledge of the environment and diet (3.94±0.68), understanding of the food circulation system (3.45±0.77), and healthy diet (3.26±0.89). Among the factors influencing a sustainable diet, female students had higher attitudes toward food safety and consideration and understanding of the food circulation system than male students. Third, the social responsibility awareness (economic responsibility and social-environmental responsibility) and corporate social responsibility trust variables influenced university students' sustainable diet. Among these, social-environmental responsibility awareness had the highest influence.

가정환경 변인과 학업성취에 관한 어머니의 교육신념이 유아의 사교육 실태에 미치는 영향 (Contributors of Extra-curricular Activities of Preschool Children: Focused on Home Environment Factors and Maternal Belief about Factors on Academic Achievement)

  • This study aimed to identify the contributors of extra-curricular activities of preschool children focusing on home environmental factors(financial capital, human capital, and social capital) and maternal belief about factors on academic achievement(child's effort, child's ability, teacher's instruction, and maternal teaching). One hundred and seventy three mothers whose preschool children were attending child-care centers in Seoul and Kyunggi-Do participated in the survey. Kinlaw et al.(2001)'s Importance of Effort/Ability Scale was used to assess the mother's belief about the factors on academic achievement. Stipek et al.(1992)'s Activities Sub-scales was revised to measure a social capital, that is the mother's formal and informal activities providing to their preschool child. Educational level was utilized as human capital and monthly income was considered as financial capital. Also, using open ended questions, the subjects were asked to respond to the numbers of extra-curricula activities their child was presently attending, and when he or she began to attend the extra-curricular activity. The main results are as follows. In general, the mothers provided informal activities to their preschool child more than formal activities. Also, they believed the teacher's instruction is the most important and the child's ability the least important in their child's academic achievement. The number of extra-curricular activities was predicted by mothers' formal activities and their belief on their child's ability. The age of starting extra-curricular activities were explained by mothers' formal activities and their educational level.

청소년의 환경적 변인 및 부모와의 의사소통이 문제행동에 미치는 영향 - 부산시내 실업계 여고생을 중심으로 - (The relationship between communication with parents of vocational girls' high school students and their problem behaviors)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between communication with parents of vocational girls' high school students and their problem behaviors, to find out variables which influence them. Data were collected by the second grade 389 students of vocational girls' high school students in Pusan. Major findings were as follows: 1. Problem behaviors were different according to the type of problem behaviors and behavior frequencies. 2. Problem behaviors were influenced positively by the delinquency of friends and negatively by communication with parents and the successful school life. Communication with parents was influenced positively by the harmonious family atmosphere and the successful school life, negatively by stepparent family. 3. Runaway was influenced negatively by the harmonious family atmosphere and positively by the delinquency of friends. Gang fight was influenced negatively by the successful school life and positively by the delinquency of friends. Sex affairs was influenced positively by the delinquency of frends. Suicide trial was influenced negatively by the harmonious family atmosphere and the delinquency of friends, positively by stepparent family and communication with their parents. Gang fight was influenced by school environmental factors and suicide trial was influenced by family environmental factors.

빈곤층 편모의 스트레스가 부모역할 수행에 미치는 영향 :심리적 디스트레스의 매개역할을 중심으로 (Stress and psychological Distress as Determinants of Parenting Practices among Poor Single Mothers)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore various environmental factors that explain parenting practices. Those factors considered are stress and characteristics of single-mother/child together with psychological distress experienced by the single mother. A total of 285 poor single mothers with a child attending elementary school or junior high school completed a structured questionaire. The relationships among the variables were analyzed by the path analysis. The results showed that poor single mothers rely on affectiv $e^portive involvement more frequently then punitive/inconsistent discipline. It is also confirmed that the enviromental factors such as financial stress living environmental stress and job status play important roles in determining the quality of parenting practices with the mediating role of psychological distress.ss.
