The purposes of this study are to determine dimension of apparel expectations. performances and service quality of home shopping and thereby, to analyze effect of apparel commodities dimension (expectations, performances, disconfirmation and satisfaction) and service dimension (service quality and satisfaction) on repurchase intention. The subject were 351 women in the age of twenty to sixty years old who live in Seoul and the suburban of Seoul. The results of this study can be summarized as follows : 1. It was found that home shopping consumers' expectation and performance with apparel commodities were classified 3 factors. On the other hand, the dimensions of service quality were found to have such 3 factors as convenience reliability, personal factor, and apparel one. 2. More frequent users of home shopping scored more on average than less frequent users in terms of service quality, service satisfaction and intention of repurchase. On the other hand, the cable TV users scored more on average than catalogue users In terms of service quality and intention of repurchase. 3. It was found that consumers' intention of repurchase of home shopping were affected by such variables as discofirmation and satisfaction with apparel commodities, service quality and service satisfaction. While less frequent users were affected by disconfirmation and service quality, more frequent users were affected by such variables as apparel commodities satisfaction, service quality and service satisfaction. Meanwhile, both cable TV and catalogue users were found to be affected by service quality and service satisfaction.

This study was carried out to improve management of wasted home appliances and computers. The generation of wasted home appliances and computers in korea was estimated. Disassembling wasted home appliances and computers according to disassembly procedure, investigate fittings weight and disassembly time. To evaluate hazardous contaminants from televisions and computers, measure heavy metals by leaching test.

본 연구는 폐가전제품의 회수 및 처리 현황을 파악하고 이를 통해 재이용 및 재활용 활성화를 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 대형폐기물중 가전제품의 배출량은 냉장고가 30.7%, TV가 37.8%, 세탁기가 22.9%, 에어컨이 8.5%이며 품목별 회수량은 냉장고가 38.7%, TV가 14.3%. 세탁기가 36.8%, 에어컨이 0.3%로 나타났다. 회수주체별 회수량은 지자체가 46.2%, 생산자대리점 및 물류센타가 49.7%, 재활용센터가 4.1%이며, 폐가전제품의 처리 현황은 재이용이 17%, 유가물 회수가 65%, 매립 및 소각이 18%로 밝혀졌다. 대형폐기물중 폐가전제품의 재활용을 촉진시키기 위해서는 먼저 재이용을 민간 재이용 및 재활용 조직을 활성화 할 수 있는 제도를 확립하는 것이 중요하다고 본다. 또한, 생산자에게 생산단계에서의 제품에 대한 책임을 강화 및 폐가전제품에 대한 회수 체계의 확립이 필요하다. 가전제품의 재활용 혹은 적절한 처리에 필요한 재원으로 활용될 수 있는 폐기물예치금제도의 개선이 필요하며, 제품의 내구연한 연장을 유도할 수 있도록 내구연한의 범위를 정해서 융통성있게 운영함이 필요하다. 마지막으로 폐기물 발생억제 측면에서의 소비패턴을 유도할 수 있도록 소비자를 대상으로 한 교육 홍보가 지속적으로 이루어져야 하고, 대형폐기물의 회수와 처리장소 및 처리 비용의 일부는 자치단체가 부담하고 민간대형업체가 파쇄 재활용처리하는 방식의 도입이 필요하다.

홈 헬스케어 서비스를 위해서는 다양한 개인건강기기를 기반으로 사용자의 신체 상태를 측정하고 측정된 값을 적절하게 전송하는 시스템간의 통신과 인터페이스가 매우 중요한 요소이다. 그리고 개인 건강기기의 데이터를 이용한 상호운용성 확보를 위해서는 홈 헬스케어 의료기기와 홈 헬스케어 서버/게이트웨이 간의 ISO/IEEE 11073 표준을 만족해야 한다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 스마트 TV환경 기반의 헬스케어 서비스를 제공하기 위해, 홈 헬스케어 시스템에서 Bluetooth HDP를 통해 개인 건강기기와의 IEEE 11073 표준 연결성에 대해 연구하였다.

Surrounding noise often affects the performance of speech recognition system when it is used in office or home. Especially situation is more serious when colored and nonstational noise such as an sound from television or other audio equipment is introduced. The authors proposed a voice control system for television set using an adaptive noise canceler, and it works well even is sound of television set has comparable level of speech. In this paper, a new front-end of speech recognition is introduced for the voice control system. This font-end utilizes a simplified masking model to reduce the effect of residual noise. According to experimental results, 90% correct recognition is achieved even if the level of television sound is almost 15dB higher than one of speech.

This paper presents the necessary elements and data flow in developing a monitoring system of energy usage for apartment houses with a Smart TV. Energy consumption data in each home are collected and analyzed in the HUB station by way of measuring instruments. And the amount of energy usage, such as electricity, gas, hot water, heating, water and other utilities are displayed through the Smart TV application. Energy consumption Database in the HUB station are processed and displayed in the browser of a Smart TV through XML, JAVASCRIPT and Flash. Smart TV users can get the energy consumption status through the energy consumption analysis display of the Smart TV application and improve the energy efficiency by comparing the usage patterns with neighboring houses. And the application display energy usage information, consumption ranking, rates to user as well. Furthermore, usage of last month or year can be compared to help to reduce the energy usage. The proposed system can provide the information about the amount of energy use to be reduced and the warning on the waste of energy.

The Home network system means that information appliances, Home PCs, etc., using wired or wireless network method enable to control and share with peripheral devices such as internet, shared data, a scanner and a printer, and it is networking solution, which intelligent communication will be possible as the system which can do a remote control such as TV Set, refrigerators, air conditioners, DVD players, digital camcorders based on external network using an internet, a potable information terminal and a mobile phone whenever, wherever and freely. In this study, the home network interface solution is used one of the wired network standards, PLC (Power-Line Communication) technology, so we can construct of intelligent home network's home controller without re-build a network at home. On keeping with current waves of thought, we will focus on a home controller development with great interest which is enabled to do an effective managed control, applying intelligent home network technology which can be new paradigm like a cyber apartment.

In order for end-users in home networks to receive opportunities for useful services that go beyond legacy Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) services, this paper proposes a service platform that resides on the residential gateway (RG) for interworking between the home network and IPTV. This proposed service platform is called the home-oriented IPTV service platform (HISP) on the RG (HISP-RG). The proposed HISP-RG provides open architecture and functionalities to enable 3rd party IPTV service providers to locally and directly deliver home-oriented IPTV services to end-users in home networks. The HISP-RG can be an "add-on" and not a "built-in" solution for the existing standard RG. This paper introduces several home-oriented IPTV services that can be executed and delivered locally through the HISP-RG. Then, the open architecture and functionalities of the HISP-RG are defined and their requirements are specified. Finally, use cases of the HISP-RG for home-oriented IPTV services are presented.
