재가노인을 위한 가정배달 급식관리체계 및 급식서비스 현황 조사 (Foodservice Management Systems of Home-Delivered Meal Service Program for Home-Bound Elderly)

  • The purposes of this study were to : a) examine the current foodservice management practices of twenty-one seniors centers in charge of hoke-delivered meal programs, b) evaluate the attitudes of one hundred and ten recipients of meal service program, and c) provide feedback for the efficient and effective foodservice management for the elderly. Statistical data analysis was completed using the SAS package program for descriptive analysis, T-test, and ANOVA. The results of quantitative analysis indicated that the costs of meals, containers and special foods were mostly dependent on the support from local government(Seoul city). The centers where the volunteers were over seventy five p ercent of the workers were frtty-eight percent and sixty-seven percent of the subjects in food preparation and food delivery to the homebound clients, respectively. Meal preparation and food purchasing were mainly practiced by social welfare worker. Standardized recipes were not developed and meal preparation was controlled under the cook' and volunteers' experiences. The survey results of recipients who participated the home-delivered meals program showed that the mean of meal satisfaction score was rated over three point five in the five-point scale. There were significant differences between dependent variables(volunteer's kindness, plate waste, menu variety) and independent variables(sex, receiving periods and family type of the subjects). 특수형태근로 종사자의 작업조건 및 안전보건 특성에 관한 연구 - 퀵서비스 등 5개 직종을 중심으로 - (Research on the Characteristics of Working Conditions and Occupational Safety and Health in the Special form Workers)

  • The purpose of this study, the overall occupational safety and health status and identify the characteristics of the workers engaged in the field of quick services, substitute driving services, home delivery, caregiver, film and television arts, to take appropriate measures to prevent industrial accidents, profession and working environment, safety recognition and education, and safety activities, accident experience and job stress survey. Survey using a structured questionnaire, 846 people directly interview research. Safety consciousness level of himself or herself was "fair level" of 3.19 points and those of colleagues and the general public were evaluated to be low as 2.84 points and 2.54 points, respectively. During the last 12 months, 21.3% of total workers in 5 job categories have received an industrial safety health education for job-related accident or disease and 87.6% of workers engaged in caregiver have received an industrial safety health education for job-related accident or disease. The proportions for delivery worker, substitute driving service and quick service/cultural art were 26.4%, 12.1% and below 10%, respectively. Frequency of having received an education was 5.7 days on average and education hour was 9.2. Regarding cases of having experienced job-related accident or having been exposed to job-related disease over the past 1 year, 17.0% of total respondents have experienced accident and 21.3% have experienced job-related disease. Preventive education for occupational safety is required to be expanded and strengthened. Except caregiver, the proportion of having received an information and education for safety rules and hazardous factors. Safety education is urgently required in order to prevent and reduce accident. Safety and health guideline is required to be developed and disseminated in order to prevent accident in advance.

  • 유비쿼터스 네트웍은 다양한 프로토콜을 사용하는 많은 디바이스로 구성되며 상호간의 유연한 연동을 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 네트웍 환경에서 디바이스 상호간의 신뢰성 있는 통신을 지원하기 위한 계층적 이벤트 서비스와 이를 위한 다중 이벤트를 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안된 이벤트 서비스는 다양한 통신 방법을 지원하기 위해 물리적인 위치 및 논리적인 위치에 따라 디바이스를 분류하였으며 분산 네트웍 환경에서 나타나는 이벤트 전송의 중복을 제거하여 네트웍 부하를 줄이며 이벤트 전송 과정에서 발생 가능한 오류에 대하여 신뢰성있는 처리를 보장하도록 설계 구현되었다. 제안된 이벤트 서비스는 홈 네트웍 사례 연구를 통하여 직접 구현되었으며 성능을 평가하였다.

A Set-top Box with Virtual Platform Support for QoS Management in IMS Based Multiple Provider Networks

  • Set-top Box (STB) has evolved from being a device just sitting on top of a TV shelf to a device providing a gateway to the Internet for a home network, receiving services from multiple content providers, and enabling and ensuring Quality of Service (QoS) for the streaming media. IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), with its promise to provide a converged access network for multimedia service delivery (such as Triple play & Quadruple play services), has to guarantee QoS support. To enable QoS in IMS-based networks, we have designed a set-top box which provides feedback to the service provider to ensure end-to-end QoS. Our set-top box is designed to provide virtual platforms such that it can support multiple service providers. Each service provider is able to manage its own multimedia streams and ensures the desired network performance for each flow. The set-top box also works as a Home Gateway and provides end-to-end QoS support to the client nodes.

보건소 방문간호사의 서비스 수행빈도 및 교육요구 (The Health service performance frequency and educational needs among the visiting nurses of public health centers)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to compare the health service delivery level and educational needs by work experiences and types of public health center among the nurses who work as visiting health services workers at public health centers. Methods: Data collected from 484 nursing staff for 2 weeks, was analyzed using the SPSS program t-test, ANOVA, and Spearman Rank-Order Correlation. Nurses with more than 2 years experience were 79.1%; and 43.6% of the subjects worked within Gun type public health centers. Results: The health service performance frequency of metropolitan city type public health centers was significantly high in the areas of education, behavior pattern, chronic disease, pregnant women & infants, and multi-cultural family. The health service performance frequency of Gun type public health centers was significantly high in the areas of type of test, fundamental nursing, and basic rehabilitation. In addition, the correlation between the performance frequency and educational needs was positively correlated, and the subjects with greater educational needs performed more. Conclusion: Educational programs should be designed according to the types of public health centers rather than work experiences, especially in systematic training for frequently performed items after reviewing the practice precisely.

기혼여성 재택근무자의 식생활영역에서 가사노농 상품대체와 그 영향요인에 관한 연구 (Market goods substitution of housework and the determinants on it in the domain of food: Focused on the married female home-based workers)

  • The purpose of this study was to describe the levels of market goods substitution of housework and find out the determinants on it in the domain of food among married female home-based workers. The data were collected from 169 married female home-based workers in Pusan and Kyungnam province, by self-administered questionnaires. Frequencies, percentiles, Cronbach's alpha, Pearson's correlations, and multiple regression were used to analyze the data. In the convenience foods, frozen foods had the highest substitution level, whereas prepared stew had the lowest. The substitution level of Korean traditional storage foods was the middle. And in dining-out service, the substitution level was mostly high: the level of delivery service was higher than that of dining-out. Compared to the previous research, these results showed that market goods substitution tended to increase, and its level in the domain of food will promote continually over time. The variables affecting the substitution level of convenience food were the number of family members, occupation, the existence of elderly/disabled person in the family, sex-role attitude, and weekly hours at home-based work. The substitution level of Korean traditional storage foods was influenced by sex-role attitude, occupation, education, monthly household income, and the existence of elderly/disabled person in the family. The significant variables affecting the substitution level of dining-out service were weekly hours at home-based work, the number of family members, occupation, monthly household income, education, and sex-role attitude.

대규모 이동 에이전트 시스템을 위한 적응적 에이전트간 통신 프로토콜 (Adaptive Inter-Agent Communication Protocol for Large-Scale Mobile Agent Systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 이동 에이전트의 홈 노드에 대한 의존성을 피하면서 각 서비스 노드에 의해 유지되는 에이전트 위치정보량과 메시지 전달 시간을 매우 줄이는 적응적 에이전트간 통신 프로토콜을 제안한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해, 제안된 프로토콜은 각 이동 에이전트가 자율적으로 단지 자신이 방문한 노드들 중 일부분에게만 그 에이전트의 위치정보를 남겨두도록 한다. 또한, 이 프로토콜은 각 서비스 노드의 스마트 에이전트 위치 캐쉬에 각 에이전트의 위치관리자 식별자를 유지하게 함으로써, 노드의 캐쉬 갱신 횟수를 매우 줄일 수 있다. 본 논문에서 수행한 시뮬레이션에서는 제안된 프로토콜이 기존 프로토콜에 비해 메시지 전달 비용을 $76%{\sim}80%$ 정도 줄이고, 각 서비스 노드가 유지해야 할 에이전트 위치정보량을 $76%{\sim}79%$ 정도 줄인다는 것을 보여준다.

가족정책 전달체계 전담인력의 역량강화를 위한 교육방안 모색을 위한 기초 연구 (A Study on the Education Plan for Empowerment of Healthy Family Specialists in the Family Policy Delivery System)

  • The number of Healthy Family Support Centers has dramatically increased and the services for healthy families such as family education, family counsel, family culture and family care have increased during the past ten years since the Framework Act on Healthy Families was enacted. This growth is largely credited to Healthy Family Specialists. At a time when the family policy delivery system is changing, it is most urgent to enhance the capability of Healthy Family Specialists. In this study, we aim to investigate the current capability of Healthy Family Specialists and suggest the education plan for their empowerment. We collected data from 151 Healthy Family Support Centers by mail and e-mail in June 2014. There were total of 1,001 subjects for analysis(781 by mail and 220 by e-mail). We analyzed the capabilities of Healthy Family Specialist by service areas according to work-related characteristics and possession of a license. Our findings revealed that the capabilities of Healthy Family Specialist varied depending on the service year and whether or not having a licence. These results suggest that the education program for empowerment will provide a differentiated content according to the service year and whether or not having a license. This study contributes to a better understanding of Healthy Family Specialists' current capability and provides insights on how to enhance their capability in order to change the family policy delivery system.

Effects of an ice pack and sulfur generating pad treatment for home delivery on the quality of 'Duke' blueberry fruits

  • This study focused on the improvement of blueberry delivery service using pre-cooled ice and $SO_2$ pads to prevent an increase in the fruit temperature as well as decay. To maintain the fruit quality during low temperature storage, the effect of a $SO_2$ pad and modified atmosphere packaging was also examined. Harvested blueberries were precooled at $15^{\circ}C$, sorted, and packaged. And the fruits were placed in a similar environment as that for the parcel service. Part of the fruits were stored at $0^{\circ}C$ for long term storage. The air temperature in the delivery box increased along with an increase in the simulated delivery time regardless of the treatment. However, the rate of temperature increase was lower in the ice pad treatment. No significant difference was not found after 48 h. The oxygen concentration in the box ranged between 10.5 - 14.5% in the ice pad treatment, which was higher than that of the untreated control (7.5 - 11.9%) whereas the $CO_2$ concentration was lower in the ice pad treatment. No differences were found in the occurrence of off-flavor, decay, and sensory quality loss during the 48 hours of the parcel service simulation. The combined treatment of the $SO_2$ pad and modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) using a perforated film increased the shelf-life of the blueberry fruits, the overall quality such as firmness, and the soluble solid content was not different between the treatments except for the decay incidence. No decayed fruit was found in the combined treatment. However, the percentage of decayed fruit in the control was 25% on day 15 of storage and 75% on day 33 of storage, respectively.

Analysis of Meteorological Service Requirements for Safe Operation of Low-altitude Aircraft

  • Meteorological information is essential for the safe operation of aircraft. Many organizations both at home and abroad provide meteorological services for small aircraft flying at a low altitude as a part of open public service and have performed relevant studies. Recently, such a service has been expanded to an online platform in order to deliver information more efficiently. The ultimate goal of this study is to improve the meteorological service for small low-altitude aircraft that mostly travel a short distance for a short time. To achieve this goal, this study considered requirements for developing an effective information delivery system and conducted a survey of user requirements to derive the necessary information that could be used to develop a real service.
