대용량 인휠 모터용 중공축 냉각유로의 형상 최적화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Shape Optimization of Cooling Channel in Hollow Shaft for In-wheel Motor)

  • For the proper cooling of in-wheel motor, the cooling channel should have the characteristics which are low pressure drop and adequate cooling oil supply to motor part. In this study, the flow performance of cooling channel for in-wheel motor was evaluated and the shape of the channel was optimized. First, the pressure drop and flow distribution characteristics of the initial channel model were evaluated using numerical analysis. Also, by the result of analysis and design modification, 4 design parameters of the channel were selected. Second, using the Taguchi optimal method, the cooling channel was optimized. In the method, nine models with different levels of the design parameters were generated and the flow characteristics of each models was estimated. Base on the result, the main effect of the design parameters was founded and optimized model was obtained. For the optimized model, the pressure drop and oil flow rate were about 0.196 bar and 0.207 L/min, respectively. The pressure drop decreased by about 0.3 bar and the oil flow rate to the motor part increased by about 0.2 L/min compared to the initial model.

Base Plate로 보강된 기둥-기초 접합부의 뚫림전단강도 연구 (A Study on Punching Shear of Column-Foundation Joint Connection for Reinforced Steel Base Plate)

  • 본 논문에서는 RC 기둥-기초 접합부분을 중공형 및 확장형 강재 Base Plate로 보강한 실험체에 대한 하중 재하 실험을 실시하여, 강재 Base Plate가 부착된 RC 기둥-기초에서의 뚫림전단에 대한 보강효과를 정량화 하기 위한 구조해석 및 기초적 실험 연구를 수행하였다. 실험은 각 실험체별 부착된 Base Plate의 두께, 내민길이, 치수, 형식 등의 변수에 따라 수행하였으며 실험을 통하여 응력분산에 적합한 적정 Base Plate의 모양 및 치수를 확인하였고, 보강효과에 대하여 분석하였다. 실험을 통해 Base Plate가 기초에 전해지는 수직하중의 응력분산에 효과적이었으며 폐쇄형보다 중공형 보강이 효율적인 것을 확인하였다. 보강을 통해 변위연성 능력의 향상으로 기존의 기초두께보다 두께가 감소한 실험체에서도 기존보다 높은 성능을 나타냈다. 보강 후의 실험체로부터 구조물의 거동특성을 취성으로부터 연성으로 유도 할 수 있었으며, 실험체를 파괴시까지 가력함으로써 파괴시 보강 전, 후에 대한 균열 및 파괴양상을 확인 하였다.

  • Spray dried $Cr_2O_3$ 분말은 겉보기밀도를 향상시키기 위해 plasma flame에 투입하여 실험을 진행 하였다. 첫번째 고밀도화 공정에서의 분말은 입자내부 공간까지 완전히 용해되어지지 않았으며, 두번째 공정 이후 완전히 용해가 되었다. 두번째 공정 결과 분말 입도는 작아졌으며, 용해 및 표면 연화에 의해 겉보기 밀도와 유동도는 향상이 되었다. 두번째 고밀도화 공정이 후 부분적으로 입자들이 $30{\mu}m$ 이상의 hollow structure을 보여주고 있다. 분말의 이러한 고밀도화는 plasma flame에 의해 응집되어진 응집체내의 열전도율 및 내부 가스압의 관점에서 정량적으로 논의 하였다.

중공축 소재를 이용한 다단계 냉간압출 공정의 설계 (A Process Sequence Design of the Mulit-Step Cold Extrusion using Thick-Wall Pipes)

  • The current five-stage cold extrusion process to produce an axle-housing is investigated for the purpose of improved process. The main goal of this study is to obtain an appropriate reduced process sequence which can produce the required part most economically without tensile crack-ing workpiece buckling and overloading of the tools. The current process sequence is simulated and design criteria are examined. during the simulation several remeshings are done due to severe mesh distortions, Based on the results of simulations of the current five-stage process, design strategy for improving the process sequence are developed using the thick hollow pipes. The finished product of an axle-housing is produced in two operations and one annealing treatment while the conventional sequence consists of five operations and one annealing treat-ment. Also die loads of the new process are compared with those of the current one.

자동차 허브 내.외경 측정 시스템 개발 (Development of a system for measuring inside & outside diameters of automobile hub)

  • An automobile hub is composed of a hollow cylindrical part with inner and outer diameters. These hub diameters must be precise, as any irregularities in them (diameters) can influence/degrade the motion of an automobile with this problem. Highly accurate and reliable hub inner and outer diameters measurement systems are therefore required for inspection of the diameters. In this research, an automobile hub inner and outer diameters measurement system has been developed and tested. The system consists of measuring heads with LVDT sensors, and associated software for automatic measurement and calibration of the diameters and the sensors respectively. The system has been evaluated in comparison with an existing measurement system, and the following outcomes have been achieved; .Improved and guaranteed quality and reliability .Increased productivity and cost reduction. These results prove the system developed in this research to be suitable for automobile hub inspection.

A Novel Flexible PCB Conductive Structure for Electrodynamic Bearings and Measurement in its Induced Voltage

  • This paper proposes the concept of FlexPCB(flexible Printed Circuit Board) conductive structure for electrodynamic bearings. It has three main advantages: easy “printing” of considerably thin conductive wires, resulting in potential reduction in stray eddy currents; realization of specific conductive configurations with high precision to optimize the eddy current flowing; simplicity in being wound to cylinders or hollow cylinders of different diameters. To verify this new concept, the FlexPCB conductive structure was manufactured, an axial electrodynamic bearing test rig was built and the conductive structure's induced voltage was measured along the axial displacements from 0mm to 56mm at three rotating speeds. The finite element method was used to calcuatlate the flux density of electrodynamic bearing and induced voltage of the FlexPCB conductive structure. The experimental results are compared with the results from the FEM calculation. It is concluded that the measured and calculated induced voltages have consistency in the middle part of the bearing.

하이드로 임베딩시 연결요소의 회전을 통한 체결력 개선 연구 (Improvement of Connection Force in Hydro-Embedding Process Through the Rotational Piercing of the Connection Element)

  • To increase the applicability and productivity of hydroforming process, hydro-embedding process was developed by combining the hydro-forming process with embedding process simultaneously. It is necessary in the automotive parts to form hollow bodies with connection elements which combine one part with another. The hydro-embedding process is embedding the connection element hydraulically during the operating steps of the hydroforming. In this study, technique of rotational piercing is added on the existing hydro-embedding to increase the connection force of hydro-embedded element. To estimate the feasibility of new trial process, integrated researches on the hydro-embedding process technology have been performed by analyzing the deformed mode of the tubes and the optimal process parameters for various shapes of the connection elements.

A new record of brown algae, Papenfussiella densa from Dok-do, Korea

  • Papenfussiella densa was described as Papenfussiella kuromo f. densa from Japan by Inagaki in 1958. P. densa has been recognized as an endemic and independent species based on the molecular analyses of type material without detailed morphological observations. In this study, Papenfussiella densa is reported as a new record from Dok-do, South Korea, based on morphological and molecular analyses. Papenfussiella densa is mainly characterized as having narrow, branched, slimy, and tomentose thalli with branchlets, partially hollow in the medulla of the middle part. The molecular analyses of the chloroplast rbcL-rbcS DNA sequence of the Papenfussiella densa sample from Korea revealed that it matched that of P. densa from Japan and was nested in the clade of Papenfussiella. There was only a 0.02% gene sequence divergence between the Korean and Japanese samples. We report P. densa as a new record from Korea and add this species to the list of Korean macroalgal flora.

  • Silicone insulators have many advantages over porcelain insulators. Especially silicone insulators have good characteristics of impact hardness, surface insulation, ease of processing, mass productivity and don't have risk of bombardment and vandalism. Recently insulation part made by silicone are becoming widely used. In this paper we introduce the development of Sealing End for 132kV XLPE cable with silicone composite hollow insulator and the adoption of it to a actual transmission line in abroad. This paper contains of design procedure, structure, electrical performance of it.

말뚝머리 중공 프리캐스트 철근콘크리트 말뚝의 성능 평가 (Development and Evaluation of Hollow-head Precast Reinforced Concrete Pile)

  • 최근 경제 성장과 건설 기술의 발달로 인해 구조물이 대형화, 고층화됨에 따라 상부구조물을 지지할 수 있는 기초의 역할이 중요시 되고 있다. 이 연구에서는 철근콘크리트 말뚝 성능향상을 목적으로 프리캐스트공법과 철근 및 속채움 콘크리트로 말뚝머리부를 보강한 철근 콘크리트 말뚝(HPC)을 개발하고 한계상태설계법을 바탕으로 말뚝성능을 예측하였고 설계와 실제강도와 비교를 통해 말뚝 내력의 안전성을 평가하였다. HPC말뚝 본체의 단면형상은 최대폭 500 mm, 최소폭 475 mm의 10각 단면으로 말뚝머리부 본체 두께는 70 mm이다. 중공부 본체 내측은 도로교설계기준에서 제시하는 수평전단강도를 확보하기 위해 요철형상으로 제작하였다. 전단강도 실험 결과 사인장균열이 발생하였지만 최종 파괴단계까지 급격한 파괴 없이 안정적인 전단내력을 확보하였고 한계상태설계법으로 예측한 전단강도를 135%, 119% 상회하였다. 말뚝머리 본체부 두께에 가외철근 보강 유무에 따라 제작된 실험체의 항타실험 결과 모든 말뚝 실험체에 균열이 발생하지 않아 충격에 대한 저항이 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 기성 PHC말뚝과 HPC말뚝 연결부 휨실험을 통해 측정된 휨하중을 평가한 결과 기성 PHC말뚝 설계 휨균열 하중에 비해 1.51배 및 1.48배 높은 값을 나타내어 충분한 연결부 휨내력을 확보하는 것으로 나타났다.
