영구자석을 적용한 선박용 곡면 철판 이송용 유압식 마그네틱 클램프 이송장치의 성능평가에 대한 고찰 (Performance Evaluation of Hydraulic and Magnetic Clamp Crane for Transporting Curved Steel Plate for Shipbuilding, with Permanent Magnet Applied)

  • As a new technical approach, a hydraulic and magnetic clamp device was developed to realize a magnetic clamp crane system by simultaneously actuating eight individual hydraulic cylinders. In this approach, an Sr-type of ferritic permanent magnet (SrO· 6Fe2O3), rather than the previous electromagnet, was utilized for the purpose of lifting and transporting the large curved steel plates used for manufacturing ships. This study had the goal of developing and manufacturing a hydraulic, magnetic clamp prototype composed of three main parts, including the base frame, cylinder joint, and magnet joint, in order to safely transport curved steel plates. Furthermore, this research included a performance evaluation of the manufactured prototype and acquired the purposed quantity value in the performance test. The most significant item, the magnetic adhesive force (G), was evaluated in a performance test, which utilized a ferritic permanent magnet (Sr type) with 3700~4000 G of residual induction (Br) and 2640/2770 Oe of coercive force (Hc). In particular, relevant items such as the hoist tension (kN), transportation time (s), and applied load (Kgf) on the hydraulic cylinders were also evaluated in order to determine the optimum values.

Wavelet 변환을 이용한 크레인 와이어 로프 결함 신호처리에 관한 연구 (A Study on Crane Wire Rope Flaws Signal Processing Using Discrete Wavelet Transform)

  • Wire ropes are used in a myriad of various industrial applications such as elevator, mine hoist, construction machinery, lift, and suspension bridge. Especially, wire rope of crane is important component to container transfer. If it happens wire rope failures in operating, it may lead to safety accident, economic power loss by productivity decline, competitive power decline of container terminal and so on. To solve this problem, we developed wire rope fault detecting system as a portable instrument, and this system is consisted of 3 parts that fault detecting part using hall sensor, permanent magnets and analog unit, and digital signal processing part using data acquisition card, monitoring part using wavelet transform, denoising method. In this paper, a wire rope is scanned by this system after makes several broken parts on the surface of wire rope artificially. All detected signal has external noise or disturbance according to circumstances. So, we applied to discrete wavelet transform to extract a signal from noisy data that was used filter. In practical applications of denoising, it is shown that wavelet pursue it with little information loss and smooth signal display. It is verified that the detecting system by denoising has good efficiency for inspecting faults of wire ropes in service. As a result, by developing this system, container terminal could reduce expense because of extension of wire ropes exchange period and could competitive power. Also, this system is possible to apply in several fields like that elevator, lift and so on.

유해·위험작업의 취업제한에 관한 규칙 및 특별안전보건교육 대상작업의 사망재해 분석에 관한 연구 (Analysis of Death Accidents of Hazardous and Dangerous Works defined in Regulation for Employment Restriction and Special Education for Safety and Health)

  • With the changes of industrial structure, contents and types in hazardous and dangerous works have been changed considerably. However, the hazardous and dangerous works by defined "Regulation for the hazardous and dangerous work employment restriction" and "Special education for safety and health"have not been amended over twenty years. This study aimed to identify the recent trends of the works by analyzing the death accidents cases from 2004 to 2013 and to present the management methods about future hazardous and dangerous works. The results showed that amount of 1,972 cases among 11,513 death accidents were equivalent to the works presented by "Regulation for the hazardous and dangerous work employment restriction". The amount of death accidents in 'Work of using construction equipment following construction machinery management act' was biggest among the death accidents cases and that of 'Work of handling pressure vessels following high-pressure gas safety control act' didn't show up. For the works in "Special education for safety and health"amount of 1,650 death accidents cases were equivalent. The amount of death accidents in 'Work involving a crane with a capacity of 1 ton or more or work which is carried out with a crane or hoist with a capacity of less than 1 ton in a workplace having at least 5 such machines' presented by "Special education for safety and health"was biggest. Also, death accidents case didn't occurred in three works presented by "Special education for safety and health". It was analyzed that works with low death accidents cases should be needed to study thoroughly the whole disaster research involving nonfatal accidents. 우리나라의 항만국통제 제도의 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Port State Control in Korea)

  • To ensure ship's safety and preserve the marine environment from ship, IMO(International Maritime Organization) has been making much efforts. Nevertheless there are still many possibilities threatening ship's safety and the marine environment. Many vessels navigate at sea in lack of standard required by the International Convention relevant to ship's safety and the protection of marine environment. Even though the administration is responsible for perfect and continuous control for safety of ship, it cannot has jurisdiction over ships hoist its flag reasonably at all times. So the Port State has strengthened the Port State Control(PSC) activity as one step of eliminating sub-standard vessels. In the light of the fact that mentioned above, this study deals with PSC activity in Korea and port of Pusan. Total 582 ships, inspected in port of Pusan from 1st January 1998 to 30th September 1999, were analyzed in various aspect and extracted results as follows : \circled1 The inspection rate in Korea was much lower than the other states taking part in Tokyo MOU, \circled2 For flag state, the ships belong to flag of convenience(FOC) had much more deficiencies than non-convenience flag ships, \circled3 For ship type, 39 number of general dry cargo ship were detained at Pusan with serious deficiencies, \circled4 For deficiency item, the items such as life saving appliances, safety in general, navigation, load lines and fire-fighting appliances were occupied over 71.7% of total number of deficiencies, \circled5 In Asia-Pacific region, Korea was one of flags with detention percentages exceeding 3-year(1996~1998) rolling average detention percentage. Average detention rate of Korean vessels was 6.73% which was over 0.24% of average detention rate(6.49%) in Asia-Pacific region. These results may reflect to improve the performance of PSC inspection for foreign vessels and are useful for preparing PSC inspection for ocean-going ships registered in Korea.

타워크레인의 정량적 위험성 평가가법에 관한 연구(FMEA 기법 위주) (A Quantitative Risk Analysis of Related to Tower Crane Using the FMEA)

  • 본 연구는 건설현장에서 사용하고 있는 타워크레인에 대한 검사기관의 검사결과를 토대로 위험성과 중요도를 미리 검토하고 분석하여, 상호간의 검사 기준에 대한 판정기준을 정립하고 검사능력을 UP-Grade 시킬 수 있는 기회로 활용하기 위한 방안으로, 적절한 평가방법을 도입하여 객관적인 평가 모텔을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 타워크레인은 건축물 또는 구조물 등, 건설현장에 설치되어 짧게는 2~3개월부터 2년 남짓 동안 지상에서 20~150M 이상 높은 곳으로 건설자재와 중량물 등을 실어 나르는 기계장치로, 건설 현장에서는 없어서는 안될 중요한 설비이다. 그러나 설치해서 사용하는 기간이 짧고, 건설 현장의 기술자들이 타워크레인에 대한 전문 기술력이 부족하여 체계적이고 정량적인 안전관리가 이루어지지 않고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 전문가들의 지식과 경험을 바탕을 한 지식기반기법과 타워크레인에 적용 가능한 RBI절차 연구의 일환으로 정량적 위험우선순위를 FMEA기법을 활용하여 RPN을 적용시켜 보았다. 일반적인 RBI 80/20 Rule을 적용시켜 보았을 때, 위험도가 높은 부분은 와이어로프, 권과방지장치 및 브레이크와 권상감속기 등으로 나타났다. 하지만, 아직 타워크레인에 대한 위험분석이 제대로 이루어지지 않아 미흡한 부분이 많지만, 본 연구를 시작으로 좀 더 경험과 지식이 풍부한 전문가들이 나서서 중요 정보를 공유하고 data base화 하여, 타워크레인에 대한 활발한 RBI 기법의 보완과 지속적인 연구개발이 필요하다.

원격 크레인 와이어 로프 결함 탐지 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Remote Crane Wire Rope Flaws Detection Systems)

  • 와이어 로프는 엘리베이트, 건설현장의 리프트, 현수교 등 다양한 산업 현장에 응용되어 지고 있다. 특히, 크레인의 와이어 로프는 컨테이너 이송에 중용한 요소로서 컨테이너 이송 시 로프에 결함이 발생한다면 안전사고, 생산성 저하에 따른 경제력 손실 그리고 컨테이너 터미널의 경쟁력 손실 등 여러 가지 문제점이 초래된다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기위해 원격 크레인 와이어 로프 결함 탐지 시스템을 개발하였으며, 본 시스템은 크게 결함 탐지부, 신호 처리부, 원격 모니터링부로 구성되어져 있다. 측정된 신호는 외부적 환경으로부터 노이즈를 가지게 되는데 원신호로부터 이러한 노이즈를 제거하기 위하여 이산 웨이브렛 변환을 적용하였다. 그 결과 와이어 로프 결함을 탐지하는데 있어서 좀더 쉽게 결함을 판별할 수 있었다. 결론적으로 이러한 시스템의 개발은 와이어로프의 교체 시기 연장으로 항만의 비용을 절감할 수 있으며, 경쟁력 향상 그리고 엘리베이터, 리프트 등 다양한 산업현장에 이러한 시스템을 적용할 수 있다.
