우리나라의 정보시스템 개발 방법론은 1960년대와 1970년대의 정보기술 도입기, 1980년대의 공공부문을 중심으로 한 방법론 도입기, 1990년대 초반의 민간부문을 중심으로 한 방법론 확산기, 1990년대 중반의 정보공학 방법론을 가미한 방법론 내부화기, 그리고 2000년대의 객체지향과 컴포넌트 기반 개발 방법론을 반영한 방법론 관리기로 발전하였다. 우리나라 정보시스템 개발 방법론은 30년이 채 안 되는 짧은 역사를 지니고 있다. 우리나라는 비록 세계적 흐름과 비교했을 때 대략 10년 늦게 출발하였지만 1990년대 빠른 속도로 발전하여 세계적 업체들과 경쟁할 정도의 수준으로 발전하였다. 본 논문은 1980년 초에 시작되어 2007년 말까지 진행된 우리나라 정보시스템 개발 방법론의 역사를 정리한 최초의 논문이라는 점에서 의의가 있다. 이 논문은 관련 산업에 종사하는 실무자들에게 역사적 통찰력을 제공함으로써 현재와 미래의 전략적 청사진을 그리는 데 도움을 줄 것이다. 그리고 학자와 정책 입안자들에게는 정보시스템 개발 방법론이 걸어온 길을 재음미하는 과정에서 향후 국내 정보시스템 개발 방법론의 나아가야 할 방향에 대한 시사점과 다양한 연구 아이디어를 제공할 것이다.

Contradictions often occur between the process of urban modernization and protection of history and culture, which have become the topics of current studies. The development of a city has its past, present and future while history and culture have their continued process. Culture is the sediment of history, left among buildings and merged in life. Exerting a subtle influence on the construction of a city and behaviors of citizens, culture is very important to the urban construction and is also the soul of a city and its buildings. Culture is closely bound up with inhabitants' life and the key to protect well the cultural features is to protect well historical and cultural venues. Qushuiyuan Garden is a venue for local folklore activities. The programming holds that folklore, historical and humane sceneries should be protected and left to our coming generations.

This paper proposes to examine how herbal medicine studies developed amidst the historical changes, by studying the publications of herbal medicine books. For this reason, centering on the most eminent herbal medicine books of each period, the characteristic of the times shown by their publication and the development of herbal medicine were summarized. Also, traces of herbal medicine books among the eminent classics that were imported into our medicine and made a deep impact, and whether or not a Chosun edition was published were researched and introduced in order to show the influence it had on Korean Medical History.

In the present study, we review the history of the participations of the Korean national team in the International Mathematical Olympiad for 28 years. We identifiy three major events that highlighted the development of the Korean Mathematical Olympiad program: The first participation in the International Mathematical Olympiad, hosting of the International Mathematical Olympiad, and winning the first place in the International Mathematical Olympiad. We also propose some recommendations for next steps to facilitate the development of Mathematical Olympiad in Korea.

With the discovery of metabolic mechanisms of alcohol fermentation and acetic acid fermentation in the 1800s and 1900s, the history of traditional vinegar became a turning point for changing to the history of science and technology. Since then, innovation in vinegar production has occurred, and the era of full-scale mass industrialization has opened. The most modern method, submerged fermentation, has improved the vinegar production process to produce much higher quality vinegar and provide vinegar with high productivity and quality uniformity. Innovative research for vinegar production is underway as various approaches have been developed to increase fermentation efficiency, reduce costs, and shorten fermentation time due to the trend of combining existing technologies and advanced technologies. Now that the development of the vinegar industry is currently focused on vinegar engineering, multidisciplinary approaches in various fields such as microbiology, chemistry, food technology, process engineering, and molecular biology are needed.

Taylor's Theorem is an important theorem which is applied to several disciplines. It is usually taught in a college-level calculus course for the first time. Many students have a hard time to understand or to make applications. In this paper, we look into the history of the development of Taylor's theorem and consider a teaching strategy of the theorem.

2000년 이상 기하학의 주류를 이루었던 유클리드기하학은 19세기중반 위상수학의 탄생으로 기하학의 연구가 국소적이론에서 대역적 이론으로 이행하는 과정에서 현대기하학이 획기적인 발전을 하였다. 본 논문에서는 고전적인 불변량인 오일러수에서 시작하여 최근까지 발전하여온 불변량 및 20세기 중반 이후에 발전을 한 저차원다양체의 이론을 간단히 소개한다.

When imaginary numbers were first encountered in the 16th century, mathematicians were able to calculate the imaginary numbers the same as they are today. However, it required 200 years to mathematically acknowledge the existence of imaginary numbers. The new mathematical situation that arose with a development in mathematics required a harmony of real numbers and imaginary numbers. As a result, the concept of complex number became clear. A history behind the development of complex numbers involved a process of determining a comprehensive perspective that ties real numbers and imaginary numbers in a single category, complex numbers. This came after a resolution of conflict between real numbers and imaginary numbers. This study identified the new perspective and way of mathematical thinking emerging from resolving the conflicts. Also educational implications of the analysis were discussed.
