The aim of this study is to understand the direction of planning for regeneration based on six representative cases of western part of Seoul that were regenerated from the unpleasant facilities since the 20th century. In particular, the similarities and differences were derived by analyzing the characteristics of the history and the location in terms of the 1st establishment and the regeneration in each cases. As a result, looking the tendency to regenerate the unpleasant facility, it can be seen that there is a correlation between the historical and the locational context when establishing and regenerating. Considering the distinct characteristic of the Location and the history of establishment & regeneration, we could classify the characteristics of public facilities as extroverted tendency and intrinsic tendency analysed by a geographic and an architectural, a programmatic aspects. Therefore, when planning the project regenerated from unpleasant facilities, it should be set considering the locational context and the historical context of establishment & regeneration.

역사문화 콘텐츠는 사회적 변화 또는 발전에 대한 기록 또는 근거 자료들을 디지털화한 것을 말한다. 사회적 변화 또는 발전은 사회와 자연의 상호작용의 결과라고 할 수 있으며, 관찰자의 시공간적 위치에 따라서도 내용이 달라진다. 따라서 역사문화 콘텐츠는 저장과 보존, 정보의 교환뿐만 아니라 미래의 변화에 대응할 수 있도록 하는 확장된 개념의 상호운용성과 사용자의 요구 또는 상황에 따라 연관된 정보를 쉽게 제공할 수 있도록 하는 지능화된 서비스가 가능한 구조를 갖도록 할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 사건 또는 스토리의 콘텍스트에 기반으로 사람, 공간을 포함하는 객체들 간의 관계를 설정하는 온톨로지 설계 방법을 제안하고 이를 성서 콘텐츠에 적용하였다.

A representative British designer, Vivienne Westwood's work. world from radical punk style to aristocratic historical dress is explored in context in terms of Englishness. National identity opens up into the process of mobilization of collective sentiment in the national context, unlike nationalism, and Englishness signifies the idea or emotion of England in contrast with Britishness, the political constructor influenced by geographical aspects. There is no doubt that Vivienne Westwood is central to ideas about creativity and originality in English design on subculture. However, in evaluating a designer and her work we should consider the entire context surrounding her from a broader view, rather than arguing only her own ingenuity. In this article, through reconsidering her originality in the historical reference as well as the resistant punk style in aspect of fluid national identity, I show a case of a constituted Englishness, forged by Vivienne Westwood as a cultural creator of national identity. Vivienne Westwood's case hints the complexities of national culture, which constantly shifts, translating her understandings of history and culture into fashion in her contemporary insight and glamorous ways.

This research aims to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the history of private education in Korea. By delving into the historical aspects of private education, this study aims to uncover key developments, trends, and transformations that have shaped the private education landscape in Korea. By understanding the historical trajectory of private education in Korea, educational practitioners can gain a deeper understanding of the challenges, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement within the private education industry. The literature analysis has shown that there are four significant historical events for developing private education industry in South Korea. First, Japanese colonial period and its Impact on private education in Korea background and context. Second, education reforms in the 1960s and the rise of hagwons in Korea background and context. Third, the role and impact of private education on the Korean education system. Fourth, Education reforms in the 21st Century and the regulation of private education background and context. In sum, this research provides a comprehensive evaluation of the history of private education in Korea, examining four key historical events and their impact on the private education landscape. The findings reveal important insights into private education's development, role, and impact in Korea.

사물 또는 개념을 포함하는 개체들 간의 관계성을 일컫는 온톨로지는 다양한 시나리오의 정보서비스를 구현하는데 적용되고 있다. 그것은 하나의 개체에 대하여 그것을 둘러싸고 있는 다른 개체들이 어떤 것이 있고, 어떤 관계를 맺고 있는 지를 파악함으로써 보다 정확하게 이해할 수 있다는 데 있다. 역사적 사건들을 기술하는데 있어서 시공간적 위치는 그 사건에 대한 역사적 상황을 포괄적으로 표현한 것이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 시공간적 위치정보는 역사적 사건들을 서로 연결하는 중요한 매개체가 된다. 우리는 이 논문을 통하여 역사적 사실 또는 사건들을 기반으로 하는 역사정보서비스에 있어서 정보에의 접근 및 검색 방법에 대한 사용 시나리오를 분석하고, 시공간의 틀 속에서 역사 이야기를 구성하기 위한 온톨로지 설계 방법을 제안한다.

The idea that city culture can be employed as a driver for urban development has become part of the new orthodoxy by which cities seek to enhance their competitive position. Such development reflect not only the rise to prominence of the cultural sphere in the city development, but also how the meaning of culture has been refined to include new uses in order to meet the main objectives of sustainable development. This study focuses on the procedure how the cultural infrastructure and historical context can be applied for urban regeneration strategy. Two successful cases (Bilbao, Spain and Yokohama, Japan) were selected for analysis of strategies as a whole, background, main characteristics of culture-led urban regeneration strategies and their effect for urban regeneration have been analyzed in detail. In conclusion, lessons for the future development were suggested in terms of resources, planning and linking strategies.

How can the history of medicine be used to cultivate medical professionalism? This study presents education using the lives of historical figures as a method based on the teaching experience of the course "Leadership of the Healers" for first-year students at the College of Medicine of the Catholic University of Korea. Existing methods, represented by the Osler method, have several limitations: first, they limit the subject of the history of medicine to certain established doctors; second, they describe medical history as a continuum of progress; and third, they present abstract virtues without context, making it difficult to apply what has been learned to specific situations. These limitations are why the lives of historical figures have not been used actively in medical education in recent years. However, education using the lives of historical figures also has clear advantages, such as the power to vividly convey the various elements of medical professionalism. This study proposes an alternative method. The characteristics of the new method can be summarized in two ways. First, it emphasizes the specific context surrounding historical figures and the choices made in specific historical circumstances, rather than presenting abstract virtues outside of the historical context, making students ponder the reality they face and the choices they make. Second, it reveals both the hidden actors and the bright and dark areas of history by selecting diverse multi-dimensional figures.

The purpose of the present study lies in understanding the historical context as well as regulatory and administrative restraints of records and archival management system of Korea, with the case of Korean Government Archives and Records Service(GARS). Insights gained from the historical analysis of GARS are expected to provide strategies to develop and reinvent GARS so that the national agency could be the basis of reforming Korean archival system in the future. The present study firstly reviews historical context of 1960s and 1970s, during which GARS was established, as well as its role and hierarchical standing in Korean administrative system. Second, its organizational system is analyzed, focusing on the extent of its specialization and organizational independence. Third, the study proposes to develop strategies to reinvent GARS through reinforcing the public records and archives management act(1999).

Modernity is commonly defined as a reflection of the features of modern society based on the historical experience of the West. As such, modernity includes involvement with political, economic, and social changes, a changing world-view, and changing trends in equality, gender roles, a desire for "the new," consumption, distribution based on mass production, and rational reform in fashion and dress. First and foremost, however, modernity in costume has been driven by the functional requirements of industrial capitalism. But while modernity has popularly been regarded as some sort of universal standard, in fact the West and the other societies have vastly different, unique, and particular experiences with their own respective histories of modernization. For this reason, cultural changes in the modernization process should be-indeed, must be-analyzed in the context of a country's own unique historical and cultural circumstances, rather than through the prism or strict adaptation of generalized Western concepts of modernization. Moreover, a "periodization" of the modernization of fashion and dress can be established by examining the characteristics of modernity in costume.

2008 베이징 올림픽게임이 성황리에 막을 내렸다. 지난 세기동안 올림픽게임은 여러 방향에서 폭 넓게 주목을 받아왔다. 반면, 델픽게임은 거의 주목을 받지 못하였을 뿐 아니라 고대 델픽게임과 현대의 델픽게임에 관한 연구나 서적마저 거의 없다. 이 연구는 델픽게임을 학계에 알리고 소개하기 위하여 그 역사적 맥락과 의미, 행사의 내용 측면에서의 콘텐츠 성격 및 특성, 문화관광 측면에서의 비전에 관하여 논의 하였다.
