컴퓨터 디자인 기반 모노스키 버킷 사용에 따른 장애인 알파인 스키 선수의 운동학적 특성 변화 연구: 사례 연구 (Disabled Alpine Ski Athlete's Kinematic Characteristic Changes by Computer Aided Design Based Mono Ski Bucket: A Case Study)

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of CAD (Computer Aided Design) based alpine mono-ski bucket design on disabled ski athletes' kinematic characteristics. Two national team ski athletes with LW11 disabilities (Locomotion Winter Classification) category for sit ski participated in both pre and post experiment. Both of the subjects performed 3 trials of carved turn on a ski slope under two conditions. Where, subject "A" performed pre experiment with personal bucket and post experiment with the newly developed CAD based bucket whereas, Subject "B" as control subject performed both pre and post experiment with his personal bucket. For the experiment, 24 Infrared cameras were positioned on the ski slope which covered the path of the ski turn. Also, motion capture suit with reflective markers were worn by both subjects. In the result, decrement in medial/lateral displacement of COM, anterior/posterior displacement of COM, flexion/extension angle of trunk as well as velocity losing rate of COM was observed in subject "A" when using the newly developed CAD based bucket. In contrast, no larger effect on performance was observed when using personal buckets. In conclusion, the findings obtained from the study indicated effectiveness of newly developed CAD based bucket by reducing excessive movement of hip and trunk which is an important factor to perform an effective turn.

발목관절 각도에 따른 무릎 폄근의 등속성 근력 평가 (Assessment of Isokinetic Muscle Strength in the Knee Extensor Through the Ankle Joint Angles)

  • Purpose:This study was designed to investigate difference in isokinetic muscle strength in the knee extensor muscle and characteristic differences in muscle strength between males and females through the ankle joint angles. Methods: Seventy-four subjects participated in this study. There were two groups: 36 males and 38 females. The mean age of the men was 24.58 years and women was 23.74 years. Subjects were seated on a CON-TREX LP (leg press) lean to back of chair, and there bodies were fixed by straps with the hip joint at an angle of $130^{\circ}$. After randomly fixing the ankle joint at $0^{\circ}$, $20^{\circ}$, and $40^{\circ}$ of plantar flexion (PF) in range of full extension of knee joint. We studied force max average, force max average/kg, power average, and total work through the angle of the ankle joint when the knee joint was extended from $90^{\circ}$ to $180^{\circ}$. Results: In the male group, all maximum measured value showed at the ankle joint $0^{\circ}$, all minimum measured value showed at $40^{\circ}$ PF (p<0.01). In the female group, all maximum measured value showed at the ankle joint $20^{\circ}$ PF, especially the power average increased significantly. All minimum measured value showed $40^{\circ}$ PF (p<0.01). Conclusion: There are differences between males and females in isokinetic muscle strength of the knee extensor through ankle joint angles in healthy adults. Males and Females have different characteristics of muscle strength through the ankle joint angles.

요추 추간판 탈출증 및 척추관 협착으로 인한 하지 근력 저하 및 보행 장애 환자에 대한 추나요법을 포함한 한방복합치료 치험 1예 (A Case of Korean Medicine Treatments Including Chuna Therapy in Lower Extremity Weakness and Gait Disturbance Due to Lumbar Disk Herniation and Spinal Stenosis)

  • The study reports the clinical case of a patient with lower extremity weakness and gait disturbance treated with Korean medicine treatments including Chuna therapy. The patient suffered lower extremity weakness and gait disturbance with diagnosis of lumbar disk herniation and spinal stenosis. As a treatment, the doctor applied Chuna therapy, herbal medicine, acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, cupping and moxa. The effect of treatment was evaluated by numeral rating scale (NRS), self-walkable distance, functional independence measure (FIM), Oswestry disability index (ODI) and manual muscle test (MMT). NRS decreased from 6 to 4 at the leg. Self-walkable distance increased from 0 m to 10 m, FIM increased 85 to 96 points while ODI decreased 64% to 54%. MMT of hip flex and knee extension improved from grade 3+, grade 3 to grade 4, respectively. Korean medicine treatment can be effective for patients who suffer lower extremity weakness and gait disturbance due to lumbar disk herniation and spinal stenosis. Further clinical studies are required to verify these findings.

만성 허리통증 환자의 엉덩허리근 단축과 허리 불안정성 검사 간에 관련성 연구 (A Study on the Relationship Between the Results of Shortening of the Iliopsoas Muscles and the Lumbar Instability Tests in Patients with Chronic Low Back Pain)

  • PURPOSE: This study examined the relationship between lumbar instability and shortening of the iliopsoas muscles in patients with chronic low back pain. METHODS: Forty-nine patients with chronic low back pain participated in this study. The modified Thomas test was used to examine the shortening state of the iliopsoas muscle. The length of the iliopsoas muscle was measured using the hip flexion angle, and those with a flexion angle of 10° or more were classified as positive. Five subtests were used for the lumbar instability test: testing for prone lumbar instability, passive lumbar extension, anterior-posterior mobility, passive straight leg raise, and age. Those who tested positive for at least three of these tests were classified as positive for the lumbar segment instability test. RESULTS: There was a significant association between the results of the lumbar instability test and the shortening of the iliopsoas test (p < .05). After analyzing the association between the iliopsoas length test and the five lumbar instability subtests, the results of the prone lumbar instability test (p < .001) and the anterior-posterior mobility test (p < .05) showed a significant association with the iliopsoas length test. CONCLUSION: The association between lumbar instability and shortening of the iliopsoas muscles was examined in 49 patients with chronic low back pain. Patients with shortened iliopsoas muscles tested positive in the lumbar instability tests more often. Hence, the length test of the iliopsoas muscle can be used to determine lumbar instability in patients with chronic low back pain.

스포츠 에어로빅스 Straddle Jump to Push up 동작의 운동학적 분석 (The Kinematical Analysis of Straddle Jump to Push up Motion on Sports Aerobics)

  • 본 연구는 4년 이상의 경력을 가진 스포츠 에어로빅스 대표선수 4명을 대상으로 Straddle jump to push up 동작의 운동학적 분석을 통해 점프와 착지 동작에 대한 정확한 동작을 이해하고 나아가 지도자의 효율적인 지도에 필요한 정확한 동작의 진단과 평가에 도움을 주며, 그 기초자료를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 비디오 카메라 2대를 사용하여 촬영하였고, 카메라의 속도는 60frame/sec.로 하였으며, 분석을 위한 운동학적 변인들은 신체중심 높이의 변위, 좌 우 어깨관절 각 변위, 좌 우 주관절 각 변위, 좌 우 고관절 각 변위, 좌 우 슬관절 각 변위, 좌 우 발끝의 속도이며, 각각 개인별 3회씩 수행하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 국면별 신체중심 높이의 변위는 event 1, 4, 5($79.05{\pm}9.07,\;46.41{\pm}3.65,\;18.66{\pm}0.54cm$)에서 낮은 신체중심의 높이를 나타냈으며, event 2, 3($120.80{\pm}6.13,\;148.12{\pm}9.19cm$)에서는 높은 신체중심 높이를 나타냈다. 이상을 종합해 볼 때 스포츠 에어로빅스의 Straddle Jump to Push up 동작, 즉 점프동작은 파워를 나타내는 중요한 동작이므로 충분한 유연성과 순발력이 무엇보다도 중요한 요인이라는 결론을 얻었으며, 단순한 근육의 강화가 아닌 특정 파워와 힘의 발달, 각각의 신체분절들의 효율적인 통합이 이루어지도록 훈련시키는 것이 중요하다고 사료된다.

무릎 신전 제한형 보조기 착용이 보행 시 하지 내 협응에 미치는 영향 (Influence on Intra-limb Coordination in Individuals Wearing a Knee Extension Constraint Brace during Walking)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 무릎 신전 제한형 보조기 착용 후 보행시 하지 내 협응에 미치는 영향을 평가하는 하는 것이다. 본 연구에는 7명의 건강한 성인 남성($32.3{\pm}2.7$ 세, $175.2{\pm}3.8cm$, $76.2{\pm}8.7kg$)이 참여하였다. 이들은 무릎보조기를 착용하거나 착용하지 않고 10m의 평지를 보행하였다. 이때 시공간적 파라미터, 하지의 각도, 하지 내 연속상대 위상(CRP)를 측정 및 계산하였다. 그 결과 시공간적 요인은 차이가 없었다 (all p > 0.05). 무릎보조기 착용 시 엉덩관절의 가동범위 및 각도 변화는 없었으나, 무릎관절의 가동범위는 감소하였으며 ($65.5{\pm}3.75^{\circ}$ vs. $60.5{\pm}3.5^{\circ}$, p < 0.05), 최대 굴곡 역시 감소하였다 (입각기: $31.9{\pm}4.6$ vs. $25.6{\pm}5.5$, 유각기: $76.7{\pm}3.1$ vs. $68.9{\pm}3.4$, all p < 0.05). 발목관절의 가동범위는 변화가 없었으나, 최대 배측굴곡 ($22.4{\pm}2.6$ vs. $19.2{\pm}2.1$, p< 0.05)은 감소하였으며, 최대 족저굴곡이 증가하였다 ($9.5{\pm}3.0$ vs. $15.7{\pm}2.2$, p<0.05). 대부분의 CRP는 차이가 없었으며, 유각기 엉덩관절과 무릎관절 사이의 CRP만 감소하였다 ($93.0{\pm}7.8$ vs, $84.7{\pm}4.9$, p < 0.05). CRP의 표준편차는 대부분 증가하였다 (유각기 엉덩관절과 무릎관절사이: $25.1{\pm}6.7$ vs. $32.4{\pm}1.9$, 입각기 무릎관절과 발목관절사이: $46.0{\pm}12.9$ vs. $80.1{\pm}31.1$, 유각기 무릎관절과 발목관절 사이: $34.5{\pm}4.1$ vs. $37.6{\pm}3.1$, all p < 0.05). 이와 같은 결과로부터 무릎 신전 제한형 보조기 착용은 관절의 각도, 하지 내 협응에는 영향을 미치지만, 보행특성에는 큰 영향을 미치는 않는다는 것을 확인하였다.

A Comparative Study on the Change Characteristics of the 4th to the 6th Size Korea's Anthropometric Data: Focused on the Boys Aged 13 to 18

  • Objective: The aim of this study is to analyze the change characteristics of boys among the ages of 13 and 18 years. This study is based on the $4^{th}$ to the $6^{th}$ national anthropometric survey(Size Korea) data. Background: Many changes can affect the body characteristics compared withthe past. The significant changes were shown in Pepsi generation according to the report of national anthropometric survey of Korea 1997. Method: The subjects of the survey were 1,899 boys of the $4^{th}$ Size Korea, 1,587 boys of the $5^{th}$Size Korea and 2,317 boys of the $6^{th}$ Size Korea, who were from 13 to 18 years old. The change characteristics were analyzed withanthropometric measurements, height index value and proportion. Results: Stature was increased in 17~18 years old age group of the $5^{th}$ and the $6^{th}$ Size Korea and height items of the lower body showed the tendency to increase as the $6^{th}$ Size Korea over the time. In the case of circumference items, the tendency to increase in the $5^{th}$ and the $6^{th}$ Size Korea was observed. If the $5^{th}$ and the $6^{th}$ Size Korea were compared, there were no changes of other circumference items but chest circumference of the $6^{th}$ Size Korea was decreased in comparison with the $5^{th}$ Size Korea. Waist breadth(natural indentation) was increased in the $6^{th}$ Size Korea in spite of chest breadth was decreased in the $5^{th}$ and the $6^{th}$ Size Korea. And shoulder length, biacromion length and bishoulder length were decreased. The proportion of chest circumference, abdominal extension circumference and hip circumference to waist circumference and the proportion of chest breadth to waist breadth(natural indentation) showed the tendency to decrease as the $6^{th}$ Size Korea over the time. Conclusion: There was no change of stature excluding 17~18 years old. Circumference items showed tendency to increase as the $6^{th}$ Size Korea over the time. Shoulder and chest breadth became narrow. The somatotype changed to board chest with narrow waist in comparison with the previous. Application: In this way, the body size of 13~18 years' old boys changes. If these change characteristics reflects to the school uniform design, research for the pattern development, and etc., these will be able to improve fit and satisfaction of clothes.

전신진동운동이 드랍랜딩점프 동작에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Whole Body Vibration Training in Drop Landing Jump)

  • 연구목적 본 연구의 목적은 전신진동운동(whole body vibration exercise)이 드랍랜딩점프(drop landing jump) 동작에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것으로 진동운동그룹(n=5, VEG, Vibration Exercise Group)과 단순운동그룹(n=5, OEG, Only Exercise Group)을 4주 동안 트레이닝 시킨 후 운동 전과 운동 4주 후 변화를 비교 분석하였다. 실험방법 3차원 영상 데이터는 10개의 적외선카메라(Vicon, UK)를 샘플링 율, 100 Hz.를 사용하여 획득하였으며, 하지 관절의 파워는 2대의 지면반력기(AMTI, USA)를 샘플링 율 1000Hz.로 데이터를 획득 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 무게중심의 변동성은 하강국면에서 가장 크게 나타나 점프 후 착지 시 상해위험성이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 진동운동그룹은 훈련기간에 관계없이 단순운동그룹보다 점프높이가 증가하였다. 셋째, 운동그룹간의 관절파워가 4주 훈련 후 엉덩관절 P1(굴곡)과 무릎관절 P2(신전)에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였으나, 훈련기간에 따른 하지의 관절파워는 모든 국면과 운동그룹에 관계없이 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 결론 훈련기간에 관계없이 진동과 운동을 병행한 진동운동그룹이 운동만을 수행한 단순운동그룹보다 점프높이에 증가를 가져왔으나 점프높이와 하지의 관절 파워와의 일관성 규명할 수 없었다.

성인 계단보행 시 계단 너비에 따른 하지의 운동역학적 분석 (A Kinetic Analysis of the Lower Extremity during Walking on Three Different Stair width in Healthy Adults)

  • 이 연구는 성인 남성을 대상으로 계단 너비에 따른 계단 보행의 지지국면 시 하지분절의 역학적 변인을 정량적으로 분석하여, 보다 효과적인 계단의 너비를 제시하고자 실시하였으며, 이를 위해 20대의 남자 대학생 10명이 참여하였다. 계단의 높이는 18cm, 최소폭은 90cm로 동일하나 디딤면의 너비가 각각 26cm, 31cm, 36cm인 세 개의 계단을 사용 하였다. 이때 사용된 계단의 세 번째 디딤면에 지면반력기를 설치하여 지지구간의 하지관절 모멘트를 분석한바 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 상향계단보행에서 발목관절의 굴곡/신전 모멘트변화를 분석한 결과 계단의 너비가 증가 할수록 pull-up 단계의 peak 모멘트가 감소하였으며(p<.05), 무릎관절에서는 굴곡/신전 모멘트를 분석한 결과 계단의 너비가 증가할수록 무릎에 작용하는 신전모멘트가 중지지기에 증가하는 것으로 나타났다(p<.05). 그러나 고관절에서 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 하향계단보행에서 발목관절의 굴곡/신전 모멘트를 분석한 결과 계단의 너비가 증가할수록 지지기 동안 저측굴곡과 배측굴곡의 차이가 확연히 나타나는 것으로 나타났으며(p<.05), 무릎관절과 고관절에서는 굴곡/신전 모멘트를 분석한 결과 계단의 너비에 따라 신전 모멘트의 차이가 크지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

8주간 데드리프트 운동 시 전신진동운동이 재활스포츠 선수의 근 기능 특성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect in the Muscle Function Following 8-Week Dead-lift training with Whole-body Vibration in Rehabilitation for Sports Players)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects in the muscle function following 8-week dead-lift training with Whole-body Vibration(WBV) in rehabilitation for sports players. Method : Twenty young sports players. Each subjects were randomly assigned to a resistance training with Whole-body vibration group(TG, n=10), a resistance training without Whole-body vibration group(CG, N=10). The measurements which physical fitness test and joint torque test were performed before the randomization and after the 4-week and 8-week. The WBV group performed the dynamic Dead-lift exercise on a vibration platform during one minute. The CG group performed the equal training without vibration. The WBV and CON group repeated 5 set and trained two times weekly for 8-weeks. Paired t-test was used to test for differences between the groups at baseline and after 4-weeks and 8-Weeks. And independent t-test was used to test for differences between the groups at TG and CG. All analyses were executed using SPSS software 18.0. The level of significance was set at p<.050. Results : Following the 8-Weeks training sessions, an increase in the back-muscle strength was found to be greater for the TG compared with the CG group(p<.05). Muscle endurance was significantly decreased after training than before training only for the CG(p<.05). Isometric Hip/Lumber Extension/Flextion measurement was found to be significantly greater for the TG compared with the CG group(p<.05). The finding indicates that WBV effects as an efficient training stimulus to enhance muscle function by facilitating neural control trail. Following muscle activation in motor unit synchronization of the co-contraction of the muscles. Conclusion : The results imply that the WBV training may have enhanced muscle function in rehabilitation for sports players.
