  • 많은 우주 발사체와 로켓에 분리가 필요한 순간에 작동하는 파이로 분리장치는 높은 신뢰도 및 에너지를 갖는다는 장점을 가져 널리 활용되어 왔다. 그 중 high-explosive 타입의 분리장치에서 발생하는 충격과 파편은 발사체 내부 탑재 장비에 치명적 손상을 야기 할 수 있고, 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 압력 카트리지 방식의 저충격 분리장치가 개발되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 저충격 분리장치중 하나인 스플릿 타입 파이로락에 대하여 연소상태와 파이로락을 구성하는 4개의 독립적 내부 부품의 분리 거동을 모사하는 수학적 모델을 설립하고, 실험 결과와 비교를 통해 검증을 수행하였다.

고압방전램프의 음향공명감소를 위한 주파수변조에 관한 연구 (A Study on Frequency-Modulated Methods for Reducing Acoustic Resonance in HID Lamp)

  • HID(high intensity discharge)lamps are high pressure mercury lamp, high pressure sodium lamp and metalhalide lamp. metalhalide lamp among these lamps has considered to be one of the most effective artificial light sources and this lamp has good efficiency, good color rendition and good focusing capability, But the shortcorning of metalhalide lamp is known as acoustic resonance phenomena in the discharge tube when lighted by electronic ballast and then acoustic resonance cause various problems such as the arc instability, light output fluctuations. In this paper, to reduce the acoustic resonence phenomena, the electronic ballast was designed by three methods for high frequency operation wish frequency-modulated sinusodial waves in acoustic resonance frequency band. These frequency-modulated methods are resonance frequency and resonance frequency, resonance frequency and non-resonance frequency non-resonance frequency and non-resonance frequency Experiment results could't show the Presence of acoustic resonance visually and it proved that the resonance-generating conditions can be avoided by continuously changing the two operating frequencies in acoustic resonance band (20.59kHz∼94.2kHz).

범프 포일을 장착한 고압 터보펌프용 플로팅 링 실의 실험에 관한 연구 (Study on the Experiment of the Floating Ring Seal with Bump Foil for High Pressure Turbopump)

  • The floating ring seal which is used in the high pressure turbo pump is frequently used in the oxidizer pump and the fuel pump of the turbo pump of the liquid propulsion rocket, because it is able to minimize clearance to decrease the leakage flow rate. Compared with contact seal, the floating ring seal has advantage of minimizing clearance without rubbing phenomenon. But, the floating ring seal has a tendency to increase instability in operating condition in the high speed region. In this research, we devised floating ring seal which is inserted bump in the outer surface in order to improve the stability in the high speed region. Through this work, we expect to improve stability of floating ring seal with increasing the direct damping coefficient of seal and decreasing the eccentricity ratio.

LPG 재충전 소형 용기의 내압성능에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Pressure-resistant Performance of a Re-fillable LPG Cylinder)

  • 본 논문에서는 현재 캠핑 문화의 확산에 따라 수요가 증가하는 LGP 재충전 용기에 관한 내압성능을 실험적으로 검증하였다. 겨울철에 부탄가스는 높은 비점의 영향으로 기화가 쉽게 일어나지 않는 물적 특성을 지니고 있다. 하지만 프로판의 경우 비점이 낮아 겨울철에도 기화가 쉽게 일어나 연료로써 공급 필요성이 증가되고 있다. 하지만 프로판은 높은 증기압으로 인해 많은 안전상의 문제가 존재하며, 이를 극복하고 연로로써 유통되기 위해서는 안전한 용기의 공급이 우선시 되어야 한다. 국내외적으로 고압용 소형 재충전 용기의 보급을 시도하고 있으나, 프로판의 높은 증기압으로 인한 안전상의 문제로 제재가 되고 있다. 본 논문은 재충전 용기의 내압성능을 검증하기 위해 수압장치를 이용하여 용기의 가압 및 파열 실험을 수행하였다. 또한 고온에서 프로판의 증기압과 용기 파열시 수압과 비교하여 그 특성을 제시하였다. 수압가압 실험 및 파열 실험을 통해 토출 된 본 논문의 결과는 향후 소형 재충전 용기 개발 연구의 기초가 될 것으로 기대하며, 재충전 용기의 보급에 있어 기준 자료로 활용 될 것으로 사료된다.

조영제 희석률에 따른 조영증강 자기공명혈관조영검사의 신호강도 평가 (Evaluation of the signal intensity of magnetic resonance angiography in accordance with the dilution rate of the contrast agent)

  • 조영제의 희석률 변화에 따른 신호강도를 분석하여 조영증강 자기공명혈관조영검사 시 점도와 삼투압에 따른 부작용을 최소화하고 신호강도를 높여 영상의 질을 향상시키고자 하였다. 연구방법은 조영제가 혈관에 주입되면 혈액과 희석되어 mol 농도가 변화되고, 그에 따라 신호강도의 변화를 일으킴에 착안하여 phantom을 제작하였다. phantom 결과를 바탕으로 임상실험은 2013년 11월부터 2014년 1월까지 조영제를 희석한 군(30명)과 희석하지 않은 군(30명)으로 구분하여 뇌혈관의 신호강도를 비교하였다. 연구결과, 조영제 mol 농도 변화에 따른 phantom의 신호강도는 0.0125mmol부터 급격히 증가하다 20mmol에서 최고점을 이룬 후 200mmol부터 평형을 이루었다. 임상실험에서도 조영제를 희석하여 검사한 영상의 신호강도가 모두 높게 나타나, 1000mmol 조영제 사용에 비해 500mmol로 희석하여 사용함이 최고점인 20mmol에 근접하여 우수함을 알 수 있었다. 결론적으로 조영제를 희석하여 사용함으로써 점도와 삼투압을 저하시키고, 영상의 질을 향상시킬 수 있었으므로 임상적용의 유용성이 높다고 할 수 있다.

Tocopherol Content and Composition in Peanut

  • The content and composition of tocopherol were analyzed in peanuts produced in Korea. The tocopherol assay was consisted of an extraction with n-hex-ane:isopropanol mixture followed by high pressure liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection. Tocopherol content was higher in leaves and seeds but lower in seed coats and shells. $\alpha$-/${\gamma}$- Tocopherol ratio was as low as 0.53 in seeds and as high as 22.5 in shells. Tocopherol content in seeds of nine varieties ranged from 142 to 220 ng/mg dry weight, and the $\alpha$-/${\gamma}$-tocopherol ratio from 0.40 to 0.75. Tocopherol content decreased by 18% but $\alpha$-/${\gamma}$-tocopherol ratio increased by 44% in roasted seeds. The results indicate that the level of tocopherol in Korean peanut varieties is moderate and the ratio of $\alpha$- to ${\gamma}$-tocopherol is low.

  • In the block type VHTR core, there are inevitable gaps among core blocks for the installation and refueling of the fuel blocks. These gaps are called bypass gap and the bypass flow is defined as a coolant flows through the bypass gap. Distribution of core bypass flow varies according to the reactor operation since the graphite core blocks are deformed by the fast neutron irradiation and thermal expansion. Furthermore, the cross-flow through an interfacial gap between the stacked blocks causes flow mixing between the coolant holes and bypass gap, so that complicated flow distribution occurs in the core. Since the bypass flow affects core thermal margin and reactor efficiency, accurate prediction and evaluation of the core bypass flow are very important. In this regard, experimental and computational studies were carried out to evaluate the core bypass flow distribution. A multi-block experimental apparatus was constructed to measure flow and pressure distribution. Multi-block effect such as cross flow phenomenon was investigated in the experiment. The experimental data were used to validate a CFD model foranalysis of bypass flow characteristics in detail.

축대칭 초음속 흡입구 주위의 저주파수 및 고주파수 버즈(Buzz)에 대한 수치모사 (NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS OF LOW- AND HIGH-FREQUENCY BUZZ AROUND AN AXISYMMETRIC SUPERSONIC INLET)

  • In this paper, numerical simulations of both low- and high-frequency buzz phenomena at the throttle ratios (T.R.) in Nagashima's experiment are performed. The dominant frequencies of the low-and high-frequency buzz in the experiment are about 109 Hz with T.R.=0.97 and 376 Hz with T.R.=0.55, respectively. An axisymmetric solver with the S-A turbulence model is used for the simulations, and DFT(Discrete Fourier Transform) on pressure histories is conducted for the buzz frequency analysis. In the present simulations, the free-stream Mach number and the Reynolds number based on the inlet diameter are 2 and $10^7$, respectively. Both the low- and high-frequency buzz phenomena are accomplished without the changes in the grid topology. The dominant frequency of the simulation is about 125 Hz with T.R.=0.97, while it is 399 Hz with T.R.=0.55.

특성곡선법을 이용한 디젤엔진 가스유동 1차원 수치해석의 타당성 평가 (Validation of diesel engine gas flow one-dimensional numerical analysis using the method of characteristics)

  • In order to design a diesel engine system and predict its performance, it is necessary to analyze the gas flow of the intake and exhaust system. A gas flow analysis in three-dimensional (3D) format needs a high-resolution workstation and enormous time for analysis. Therefore, the method of characteristics (MOC) was used for a gas flow analysis with a fast calculation time and a low-resolution workstation. An experiment was conducted on a single cylinder diesel engine to measure pressure in cylinder, intake pipe and exhaust pipe. The one-dimensional (1D) gas flow was analyzed under the same conditions as the experiment. The engine speed, valve timing and compression ratio were the same conditions and the intake pressure was inputted as the experimental results. Bent pipe such as an exhaust port that cannot be realized in 1D was omitted. As results of validation, the cylinder pressure showed accuracy, but the exhaust pipe pressure exhibited inaccuracy. This is considered as an error caused by the failure to implement a bent pipe such as an exhaust port. When analyzed in 3D, calculation time required 61 hours more based on a model of this study. In the future, we intend to implement a bent pipe that cannot be realized in 1D using 3D and prepare a method to supplement reliability by using 1D-3D coupling.

사판식 액시얼 피스톤 펌프의 가변용량 시스템의 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Characteristics of a Compensator System for Swash Plate Type Axial Piston Pump)

  • Recently, the importance of variable displacement piston pump is increasing in industrial world. Especially, most consumers require various range of pressures and flow rates. Pressure compensator is a system controlling flow rate in piston pump at low cost and, therefore, satisfies the need of consumers. However, the system has serious problems, such as response and leakage. The response and leakage are affected by clearance between actuator piston and cylinder, roughness of surface, and spool overlap. In this paper, these effects are investigated experimentally, and optimal clearance and chamfer is obtained. While diameter of cylinder is fixed and diameter of actuator piston is changed in this experiment, response and leakage are measured. Also parameters such as roughness and processing accuracy are changed for piston of fixed clearance. Experimental setup modelled into several parts of actuator piston, cylinder, spool, and swash plate. Input pressure is changed by function generator and proportional valve. The result of this experiment shows that leakage increases very much in proportion to the increase of clearance, and especially leakage occurs enormously when clearance is more than 0.002. The response is not good because as clearance increases leakage increases and as clearance decreases viscous damping effect increases. Accordingly, it is found out that optimal clearance range exists for tile response, within about 0.0012∼0.0014, at this time. Futhermore, the better roughness and geometrical accuracy of actuator piston are, the smaller are leakage and friction. The paper informs that response and leakage are influenced by and geometrical accuracy of actuator piston, roughness of surface, and the clearance between actuator piston and cylinder, and that optimal design of actuator piston in the pressure compensator is possible.
