  • 초고속 전동기는 일반적인 회전수를 초고속 전동기로서 기존 전동기보다 여러 가지 장점을 가지고 있어 그 수요가 늘어나고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 15 [kW], 120,000 [rpm]의 초고속 전동기를 제작하기 위한 기초설계단계에서 계산된 내용과 형상을 알아보고 그 가능성을 타진해 본 내용이다. 본 연구에서는 영구자석을 사용한 초고속 전동기로서 해석과 설계과정을 거치면서 로터의 직경을 계산하고 구동 드라이버설계제작 및 사용할 영구자석과 코어을 제작하여 고소속 전동기를 제작하고 제작된 전동기를 조립하여 그 특성을 평가하는 순서로 개발을 완료하고자 하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 내용 중 FEM 설계 과정을 소개하고 그 가능성에 대해서 알아보았다.

  • The Tension Leveller of Cold Rolling Mill In POSCO performs levelling the strip in high speed line. But minor variations in operating condition of driving machines such as motor, gear box, and support bearings, a small gap-variation of supporter and strip slip by poor roll revolutions can cause serious problems in the quality of strip. In this study, firstly, A condition monitoring standard for each sensor is made through with the detail analysis of vibration and strip slip. Secondly, An automatic monitoring and diagnosing system was developed to monitor the condition of Tension Leveller, and diagnose the cause of abnormal condition. Finally, A diagnosing algorithm for abnormal condition and man-machine interface (MMI) for easy operation are developed.

  • Ducted 로켓은 가스발생기에서의 1차 불완전 연소반응 및 연소관 내에서의 흡입구로부터 공급되는 공기와의 2차 완전 연소반응을 통해 추력을 발생한다. 로켓의 사정거리는 추진제의 무게, 특히 연료의 무게에 의해 결정되므로 일반적인 고체 추진기관보다 연료효율이 높고 종말속도가 빠르므로 대공, 대함 등의 다양한 추진기관에 적용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

  • It is endeavoring for sea safety and fire[1] at sea prevention solidifying control of standard technology and safety supervision aspect in IMO[2] but sea accident and ship fire are happening continuously. Because using Robot in artistic talent of ship in this treatise, studied that correspond to Risk and manage. Attach fire perception sensor for Robot's Risk confrontation, and because using infrared rays sensor, TOUCH SWITCH, sound perception sensor, gas perception sensor, light perception sensor that is threaded in Robot and is achieved, controlled Robot, and establish Low-High value the speed of sound output use and DC MOTOR and COM SEN of when indicate Risk confrontation to Robot and establish Robot's Risk confrontation administration action.

  • This paper presents a simple torque estimation method and switching angle control of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) using Neural Network (NN). SRM has gaining much interest as industrial applications due to the simple structure and high efficiency. Adaptive switching angle control is essential for the optimal driving of SRM because of the driving characteristic varies with the load and speed. The proper switching angle which can increase the efficiency was investigated in this paper. NN was adapted to regulate the switching angle and nonlinear inductance modelling. Experimental result shows the validity of the switching angle controller.

  • In a switched reluctance motor drive, it is important to synchronize the stator phase excitation with the rotor position, because the position of rotor is an essential information. In the high-speed region, switching angles are fluctuated back and forth out of the preset value, which is caused by the sampling period of the microprocessor. In this paper, a low cost analog encoder to be suitable for practical applications is proposed. The validity of the proposed analog encoder with a proper logic controller is verified from the experiments.

  • In this paper bolt-tightened Langevin type vibrator was designed using longitudinal-torsional vibration. These two vibrations make rotary displacement at the end of the vibrator. ANSYS was used to determine shape and dimension of the vibrator in addition to resonant frequency, displacement and stress distribution. This kind of vibrator can be applied for a brakeless and gearless rotary motor which has high torque at low speed.

  • The Direct Drive Arm(DDA) is a SCARA typed direct drive manipulator with two degrees-of-freedom(DOF) using the direct drive motor of the NSK company. A controller system for the SCARA robot of DDA is designed using a DSP (TMS32Oc3O), which has the highest performance among the third DSP chips in the TI company. The design objective of the system is to implement dynamic control algorithms and neural control algorithms for real time learning which require a lot of calculations and large memory and have been tested only by simulations so far. The controller uses a DSP, a high speed D/A, 32-bit Counter and a large DRAM to implement advanced robot control algorithms.

  • The proliferation of technology has made global conduction of business increasingly dependent upon the availability of reliable power. As a result, alternate power systems are being installed and expanded to protect the broadening scope of critical electrical loads. Bus transfer restores designated critical loads to an alternate source when utility derived service becomes inadequate or goes out of service due to any contingency. This paper describes the practices, requirements and implementation of bus transfer of motor loads to an alternate source of power. A new high-speed automatic bus transfer scheme is proposed which includes the development of a new algorithm for determining the type of bus transfer required and the realization of the scheme by using modem protection devices and intra-substation communication facilities.

  • Recently, as the road capacity reaches a limit and environmental problems become serious, there exists a gradual increasing need for railway vehicles that are environment-friendly, punctual, reliable and safe. Accordingly, in addition to conventional railroad vehicles, lots of vehicles are being newly developed. Using the developed installed measurement system, the performance characteristics of railway vehicle could be monitored precisely. After recording the input real time data of each signal from railway vehicle to the network line, we could acquire the needed information through post processing program. We could verify the running performances of railway vehicle using this system. As a result, many latent defects have been found and corrected in the prototype train. The measurement systems have contributed to dramatic reduction of the developing period.
