비직교 다중변조 방식을 이용한 고속 가시광통신 시스템에 대한 연구 (A Study on High Speed Visible Light Communication System Using Non-orthogonal Multiple Modulation Scheme)

  • 본 논문에서는 가시광 통신시스템에서 고속 전송을 위한 변조 기법에 대해서 분석하고, 최적의 비직교 다중 전송을 위한 Dimming level 및 송신 전력 비율에 대해서 연구하였다. 기존의 가시광 통신은 전송 속도를 높이기 위한 멀티전송이 어렵다는 단점이 있다. 송신단에서 고속 전송을 위해서는 반드시 다중 전송기법이 필요한데, 일반적인 가시광 통신은 다중 전송에 한계가 있기 때문에 고속 전송을 위한 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 최근에는 이미지 센서인 Optical Camera Communication(OCC)을 가시광 통신에 적용한 VLC-OCC가 연구되어 기존 가시광 통신이 가지는 다중 전송의 한계를 극복하였다. 그러나 VLC-OCC 방식은 외부 조도의 영향을 더 많이 받고, 수신단에서 검출이 어렵다는 단점이 있다. 또한, 다중 전송을 위한 LED 매트릭스의 위치 인식과 딥러닝을 위한 데이터 셋 신호처리를 위한 Processing-time이 필요하기 때문에 시스템의 복잡도가 증가하게 된다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 비직교 다중 전송 방식을 적용한 고속 가시광 통신을 위한 다중 변조 방식과 그에 따른 향후 연구 방향을 제안하였다.

Dynamic response of an overhead transmission tower-line system to high-speed train-induced wind

  • The current work numerically investigates the transient force and dynamic response of an overhead transmission tower-line structure caused by the passage of a high-speed train (HST). Taking the CRH2C HST and an overhead transmission tower-line structure as the research objects, both an HST-transmission line fluid numerical model and a transmission tower-line structure finite element model are established and validated through comparison with experimental and theoretical data. The transient force and typical dynamic response of the overhead transmission tower-line structure due to HST-induced wind are analyzed. The results show that when the train passes through the overhead transmission tower-line structure, the extreme force on the transmission line is related to the train speed with a significant quadratic function relationship. Once the relative distance from the track is more than 15 m, the train-induced force is small enough to be ignored. The extreme value of the mid-span dynamic response of the transmission line is related to the train speed and span length with a significant linear functional relationship.

초고속 광전송 시스템용 전송로 부호의 성능 분석 (The Performance Analysis of Transmission Line Codes for the Very-High Speed Optical Transmission System.)

  • 정보신호계열을 초고속으로 전송하기 위한 디지틀 광전송 시스템이 대용량화, 경 제화됨에 따라, 효율적으로 순수 정보신호계열을 신뢰성있게 전송할 수 있는 초고속 광전송 시스템용 전송로 부호의 선택이 현시점에서 중요한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 지금 까지 제안된 2치 unipolar 전송로 부호들 중 고속(100Mb/s 이상의 전송속도) 광전송 시스템으로 적합한 전송로 부호들을 우선 선택하여, 선택한 전송로 부호들 간의 성능 평가를 전송로 부호의 요구조건들, 즉 최대 동부호 연속수, 전송지연시간, 클럭 상승률, 마크율, 회로규모, 전송로 에러 감시 및 전력 스펙트럼에 따라 상호 비교 분석 한 결과, mBIZ부호가 최적의 초고속 광전송 시스템용 전송로 부 호임을 밝혔다.

Pilot Symbol Assisted High Speed Packet Transmission System based on Adaptive OFDM in Broadband Mobile Channel

  • 4G mobile communication system requires the throughput of 10-100Mbps. Adaptive modulated OFDM system is promising technique for increasing the throughput. In the pilot symbol assisted high-speed packet transmission system, the data symbol duration is generally considered to be small compared to the coherence time. However, OFDM symbol duration is longer than the symbol duration of a single carrier system, so that the packet duration of the pilot symbol assisted high speed packet transmission system is long. In this case, the change of channel conditions is too fast to be accurately estimated by channel estimator at the receiver in high Doppler frequency, so that many errors occur during demodulation, especially with the data symbols at the end of each packet. In this paper, we consider the BER at various instantaneous $E_b/N_o$ that includes the demodulation errors in high Doppler frequency. When the coherence time is ten times longer than the duration of a single packet, the channel can be closely approximated as an AWGN channel. Otherwise, the approximation breaks down and the above-mentioned errors that occur during demodulation must be taken into consideration. In this paper, we propose the pilot symbol assisted high speed packet transmission system based on adaptive OFDM using a novel lookup table to consider the demodulated errors and evaluate the throughput performance.

초고속 초장거리 광전송 기술 (Optical transmission technology of Ultra high-speed and Ultra long distance)

  • 지난 20여년간 광섬유전송방식의 고속화는 괄목할만한 성장을 이룩했다. 최근에는 어븀첨가광섬유증폭기의 개발로 인하여 10Gb/s의 초고속 광기간통신전송방식도 실용화를 앞두고 있다. 한편, 가입자에게도 광섬유가 포설되어 화상을 주체로 한 서비스가 제공되는 향후의 B-SIDN망에서는 전송로는 물론 노드까지도 초고속의 신호전송 처리가 필수이다. 그러나, 전기적인 처리를 기반으로 한 종래의 전송 처리기술로는 속도의 한계에 도달할 가능성이 많아서 이를 대체 할 수 있는 광소자개발 및 새로운 기술구축이 요구된다. 또한, 광솔리톤은 광섬유의 분산에 의해서 광펄스폭이 널어지지 않고 안정적으로 광섬유를 전파해가는 성질을 충분히 잘 활용한 기술로써 장거리 통신기술로 적합하게 개발되었다. 이와 같은 배경으로부터 본고에서는 차세대기간통신을 위한 초고속 초장거리 광전송기술 즉, 향후에 Tb/s 전송의 주역이 될 광주파수 다중기술 및 무중계 장거리 전송이 가능한 광솔리톤기술의 연구현황을 살펴보고 기술적인 문제점 해결을 위한 향후의 연구동향을 소개한다.

Optical Harmonic Modulation-Demodulation Techniques for High-Speed Light wave Transmission

  • High-speed harmonic optical modulation-demodulation schemes are presented and a possibility of the schemes for applying to high-speed light wave transmission system is tested at microwave frequency range. An example of this concept is as follows : Light wave is modulated succeedingly through cascaded optical modulators by a sub-carrier to produce a modulated light wave at harmonic frequency which is higher than the feasible frequency of the individual modulators. For demodulation of the base-band signal, the high frequency optical sub-carrier is down-converted by the same kind of optical modulator with the same concept of harmonic modulation.

고속 선박용 변속장치 개발 (Development of A transmission for High-Speed Ship)

  • Vibration/noise analysis as well as strength of planetary gear train are considered in order to develop a transmission for a high-speed ship. The vibration model of a gear pair is developed with considering the elastic deformation of the active teeth and the body to be a rigid. Excitation forces of the transmission system are considered as the mass unbalance of the rotors. misalignment and a function of gear transmission error which comes from the modified tooth surface. A Campbell diagram, in which the excitation sources caused by the mass unbalance of the rotors. misalignment and the transmitted errors of the gearing are considered shows that, at the operating speed, there are not the critical speed.

  • This paper presents the information transmission between on-board and ground-site in MAGLEV. considering safety and high speed operation and density operation, information transmission between them is necessary. Therefore it is necessary for transmission system to ensure high speed transmission, low error rate, massive information, and reliability of information. To provide above conditions, 1.1km signal line assembly was constructed and Frequency Shift Keying(FSK) modulation and Open System Interconnection(OSI) based high-level data link control(HDLC) protocol are applied. To modulate digital signal for transmission from ground-site to on-board, carrier frequency of 70kHz is used and 90khz is used for transmission from on-board to ground-site. Transmission speed is 2400bps for consideration of train speed, quantity of information, and data error rate. And this paper introduces information monitoring considering user interface and presents the method for an effective data transmission in MAGLEV which is now being tested and intends to provide for an intelligent train operation system in future.

고속전자밸브를 이용한 유압전동장치의 속도 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on Speed Control of Hydrostatic Transmission Using High Speed Solenoid Valve)

  • This study deals with controlling the speed of Hydrostatic Transmission (HST) system throuth the control of pumping stroke of positive displacement pump using high-speed solenoid valve controlled by digital closed loop PWM method. The method which was done in this study is as follows: First, we modified original positive displacement pump and designed pumping stroke control system of HST by using the high-speed solenoid valve. Second, after experimenting static and dynamic characteristics on each signal flow, we identified system parameter of approximated model. Finally, to control the speed of HST, we controlled the angle of the swash plate of positive displacement pump by controlling the pressure in the control cylinder chamber. Test which was carried out in the laboratory shows that transient and steady state response could be improved by PID controller.

  • This study suggests a new type shaft generating system driven by hydrostatic transmission suitable for small size vessels. In this system, the hydraulic motor speed is controlled by displacement adjustment using a 3-way high speed on/off valve. The 3-way high speed valve is operated by PWM control signal. In this study, a digital robust servo control algorithm is applied to the controller design of the system. By experiments and numerical computations, the frequency variation characteristics of the generating system under various disturbances are investigated. Conclusively, it is said that the shaft generating system proposed in this study shows excellent control performances.
