공작기계 열변형 보정을 위한 발열실험 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Thermal Experiment for the Compensation of Thermal Deformation in Machine Tools)

  • Thermal distortion is a critical issue in machine tools, especially in high speed machining. This is the reason why recent machine tools have thermal compensation function. To compensate thermal distortion, it is necessary to make a model that has some relationship between temperature and deformation. Various experimental methods ye widely been used in thermal test: constant spindle speed, unit step speed increase, random spindle speed, etc. This paper focuses on which type of spindle operation condition is good for thermal experiment. Also, experimental data is modeled using multiple linear regression models and compared each other to select a method. Consequently, it turned out at e condition of 75% constant of maximum spindle speed is good enough to generate temperature and distortion data.

  • In this paper, after we make high speed gear requested high precision, we got data on the sound level is Max 60,000rpm for tooth modification. We make a decision about tooth modification after predicting exactly amount of tooth interference by FEM. The purpose of this research is that modified gear is to drive under stable sound level. To accomplish its, Beam elements are used to simulate the same condition as a real gear drive by FEM. From result of simulation and experiment, if it has holes to decrease whole weight of high speed gear, it is not good effect because it has much more deformation than not.

  • Due to the high feed rate,high speed machining (HSM) provide a great potential of rationalization for the machining Dies and Moulds. But determination of cutting condition is very difficult, because cutting mechanism of high speed machining is very complicated,especially using ball end-mill. This paoer gives a report on selection of the optimal cutting condition to improve the machining efficiency, And optimal machining condition is determined through the cutting force, FFT analysis of cutting force and surface roughness according to the cutting condition. Based on this experiment result,wear process and machining characteristics are evaluated.

  • 과적차량은 도로 및 교량 구조물과 도로 횡단 시설물 등에 손상요인으로 작용하므로 시설물의 내구성을 단축시켜 이에 따른 유지보수 비용을 증가시킨다. 기존의 단속 시스템은 많은 문제점을 내포하고 있어서 이에 대한 대처방안이 요구되고 있다. 이에 따라, 본 논문에서는 주행중인 과적차량의 지능형 무인과적 단속 시스템 개발을 위하여 유비쿼터스 센서네트워크 시스템을 구성하고, 무선통신프로토콜을 통한 실내성능실험으로 축중 WIM센서 선정, 하중 및 온도에 따른 변수, 자율공간 송수신 거리 실험을 통해 U-도로 과적차량 무인관리 시스템의 가능성을 검토하였다. 그리고 고속 주행 상태에서도 차량의 하중 측정이 가능한 High Speed WIM Sensor의 성능에 대해 검증하였다. 또한 USN구성을 위한 센서의 무선화 테스트를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 실시한 실험은 기본적으로 고속 WIM센서와 함께 USN의 구성과 Internal/External Network의 완전 무인, 무선화 시스템을 통한 사용자 중심의 시스템을 구축하는 것이 최종 목적이므로 향후 WCDMA/HSDPA를 이용한 External Network의 구성과 실제 과적 단속 적용을 위하여 Test Bed를 통한 실험이 실시되어야 할 것이다.

  • In this paper, a instantaneous speed measurement method using a three phase sinusoidal encoder is described and it's simulations are developed. The proposed method can easily detect the AC motor speed by using that the encoder is propotion to the AC motor speed. The performance of proposed method is confirmed by computer simulation and experiment results. The high accuracy of the optimum control system, AC motor speed detection is designed and proposed.

  • This paper introduces design, fabrication and experiment process of a novel scanner for the high speed AFM(Atomic Force Microscope). A proper design modification is proposed through analyses on the dynamic characteristics of the existing linear motion stages using a dynamic analysis program, Recurdyn. Since the scanning speed of each direction is allowed to be different, the linear motion stage for the high-speed scanner of AFM can be so designed to have different resonance frequencies for the modes with one dominant displacement in the desired directions. One way to achieve this objective is to use one-direction flexure mechanism for each direction and to mount one stage for fast motion on the other stage for slow motion. This unsymmetrical configuration separates the frequencies of the two vibration modes with one dominant displacement in each desired direction, hence, the coupling between the motions in the two directions. In addition, a pair of actuators is used for each axis to decrease the cross talks in the two motions and gives a force large enough to actuate the slow motion stage, which carries the fast motion stage. After these design modifications, a novel scanner with scanning speed higher than 10 Hz can be achieved to realize undistorted images in the high speed AFM.

  • Recently a high speed spindle system for machine tools has attracted considerable attention to reduce the machining time, to improve the machining accuracy, to perform the machining of light metals and hard materials and to unite the cutting and grinding processes. In this study, a high speed spindle system is developed by applying the oil-air lubrication method, angular contact ball bearings, injection nozzles with dual orifices and so on. And a lubrication experiment for evaluating the performance of the spindle system is carried out. Especially, in order to establish the lubrication conditions related to the development of a high speed spindle system, the effects of oil supply rate, rotational spindle speed and so on are studied and discussed on the bearing temperature rise, bearing temperature distribution and frictional torque. And the effect of spindle system structure on the bearing temperature distribution is investigated.

  • A high-speed spindle can be very sensitive to rotating mass unbalance which has harmful effect on many machine tools. Therefore, the balancing procedure to reducevibration in rotating system is certainly needed for all high-speed spindles. An active balancing program using influence coefficient method and an active balancing device of an electro-magnetic type have been applied to the developed high-speed spindle system in this study. A reliable gain-scheduling control using influence coefficients of the reference model although system characteristics are changed is applied. The stability of reference influence coefficients is verified by frequency response functions. The active balancing experiment for the developed high-speed spindle during operation is well performed with an active balancing program and device. As a result, controlled unbalance responses are below the vibration limit at all rotating speed ranges with critical speed.

  • 제품 정밀도와 생산성 향상을 위해 고속프레스의 초고속화 및 초정밀화 기술이 더욱 중요해지고 있다. 그러나 고속프레스는 작동 속도 증가에 따라 슬라이드의 반복 위치 정밀도가 저하되고 프레스 구조 부품의 파손 위험성은 증가하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 따라서 고속프레스의 설계 정밀도를 향상시키기 위해서는 이런 문제점을 해석적으로 예측하고 설계에 미리 반영하는 것이 필요하다. 이번 연구에서는 편심 질량을 갖는 프레스 구동부 부품의 회전에 따른 동적 탄성 변형을 유한요소해석과 실험을 통해 분석하였다. 이를 통해 고속의 작동 조건에서 프레스의 정밀도와 파손 위험성 변화를 평가하였다.

  • This paper deals with speed control of AC servo motor using a Adaptive fuzzy high gain observer. In this parer, the gain of the observer is properly set up using the fuzzy control and adaptive high gain observer that have a superior transient characteristic and is easy to implement compared the existing method is designed. In order to verify the performance of the Adaptive fuzzy high gain observer which is proposed in this paper, it is compared estimate performance of High-gain Observer and Adaptive High Gain Observer with the computer simulation. Effectiveness of the proposed high gain observer is proved from the experiment to compare the case with a speed sensor to the case with Adaptive fuzzy high gain observer in the speed control of AC servo motor.
