  • The spot weldability of high strength steel sheet and two stories galvannealed high strength steel sheet has been studied. 1) Tensile shear strength decreased inversely as welding current increased over 12KA in the case of two stories galvannealed high strength steel sheet. 2) When heat flux input over 12KA, hardening region become narrow in case of two stories galvannealed high strength steel sheet. 3) The size of hardening region affect the strength of nuggets.

  • In order to realize the high-speed machining, the relative technologies for high speed machining tool and high speed machining are required now, The machining accuracy is influenced on the disturbance by the synchronized working conditions(cutting force, spindle Run-out, thermal deformation etc.) In this paper, the effect of spindle Run-out for the high speed machining is investigated. The results show that the spindle Run-out has a great influence on the machining accuracy in high speed machining.

  • Turbo blower generates high peaks when it operates at high pressure region. The fan of the air-cleaner system, operates especially high pressure region due to several filters, generates high noise level. In this case, the tonal sound of BPF makes people annoyance. The blower of air-cleaner has several high resistance filters in its inlet area and rotates above 900rpm Moreover, for the compact design, the size of the blower should be reduced 10%.   • High-finned tubes have good thermal conductivity and have better cooling efficiency than plain tubes or low-fined tubes due to bigger air contact area. During high-fined tubes are manufactured by roll forming, the main technique is illustrated to optimizing primary material(copper pipe), optimized die matrix designing technique for roll forming, control manufacturing speed to develop productivity etc. In this study, a roll forming system was developed in oder to produce high-finned tube. Also a multi-step roll forming die was designed & built to produce high-finned tube that has over 10 mm fin height. And then, roll forming test using copper pipe was performed to produce high-finned tube. Roll forming process for producing highfinned tube was optimized by analyzing and adjusting misrostructure, hardness, and surface roughness of roll formed high-fined tube.

  • Laser cladding Processing allows rapid transfer of heat to the material being minimum conduction into base metal. The effects of CO$_2$ laser cladding with high powder were investigated. High viscosity bronze powder consists of bronze powder used at a high temperature. The material has a high viscosity So that it can be substrate. Therefore. Laser cladding can be processed on a curved or slope surface. CO$_2$ laser cladding was designed It consists of the high viscosity bronze powder the shielding gas system and the preheating system The high viscosity powder properly at 0.3g/s and 0.50g/s. Because of the metallic bond between bronze per the hardness of dilution layer was suddenly increased. Experimental as results viscosity mixed powder can be a useful cladding material.

  • In order to realize the commercial application of HTSC materials, it is necessary to develop the fabrication process of high Tc oxide superconductor materials with desired shape and for practical application and high critical current density as well as good mechanical strength which can withstand high lorenz force generated at high magnetic field. Much studies have been concentrated to develop the fabrication technique for high critical current density but still there are a lot of gap which should be overcome for large scale application of HTSC materials at liquid nitrogen temperature. Recently some new fabrication techniques have been developed for YBaCuO bulk superconductor with high mechanical strength and critical current density. In this project, the establishment of fabrication condition and additive effects of second elements were examined so as to improve the related properties to the practical use of YBaCuO superconductor, and we reported the production of the YBaCuO high Tc superconductor by the pyrolysis method.

  • In this paper, we propose to investigate the existing EPL education related studies and to collect the total effect size for the improvement of high-level thinking through meta-analysis and to confirm the effect size according to various variables. So, we have objectively identified and generalized the practical effects of EPL education on the various elements of high-level thinking and high-level thinking. The results of the meta-analysis showed that 1) EPL is a teaching-learning tool that greatly improves students' high-level thinking. 2) Education based EPL has greatly contributed to the enhancement of creative thinking and logical thinking among high-level thinking. 3) Kodu, App Inventor, Scratch, and Dolittle was confirmed that the effect on the improvement of high-level thinking was great.

  • To achieve adequate brake performance in high-speed trains the brake system should : ${\bullet}$ offer high reliability and high availability, ${\bullet}$ permit deceleration of the train with as little wear as possible, and ${\bullet}$ display good control characteristics with, if possible, infinitely variable control of the braking effort. For these reasons, high-speed train is to be equipped with three different and largely independent brake system : ${\bullet}$ a regenerative brake with regenerative feedback in the driven cars, ${\bullet}$ a linear eddy-current brake in the nondriven cars and ${\bullet}$ a pneumatic disc brake in all cars.   • Recently, there has been a growing demand for soft magnetic materials with high conversion characteristics, due to the trend of electric devices to higher-frequency range. For ruduceing core loss in the high-frequency range, using finely grained and high-resistivity Fe-based alloy powder is most efficient methods. But, conventionally, there's been a compressibility problem for such powder. In this work, Fe-based alloy powder that offers both high resistivity and high compressibility was developed by studyuing composition of the powder, and reduction of core loss of P/M soft magnetic materials in the high frequency range was achieved.

  • When trains run over a snow-covered track at high speed, the snow accereted under car bodies may drop during train running. The dropped snow/ice lumps scatter the ballast on the track damaging the car body and the environment along the track in snowy regions. In this study, the snow-fall condition in winter around the Seoul-Busan high-speed line has been investigated to yield the countermeasure for the high-speed line. The climate near Japanese and French high-speed line as well as the relationship between the climate and countermeasure has also been investigated and the direction of countermeasure for Seoul-Busan high-speed line has been deduced. Consequently, the amount and frequency of snow-fall near Seoul-Busan high-speed line is less than that of Japan and France, so the speed restriction could be the fundamental countermeasure for Seoul-Busan high-speed line, and additional measure on rolling stock and infrastructure should be followed.
