Light has been considered as one of the most important elements in architectural design. Light provides occupants in buildings a lot of architectural experiences by interrelating the space, shape and other design elements. Especially, natural light is the valuable source to create the better indoor space compared to artificial light. It is a sustainable energy source and offers a more natural environment. It also enables occupants to perceive the form and depth of space. In general. many of architects including Henri Ciriani have tried to design buildings with natural light expecting optimum indoor environment. Therefore, this paper tried to examine the works of Henri Ciriani and analyze how to control the light in his works. For this purpose, two museums designed by Henri Ciriani-Arles Museum of Archaeology and Great War Historical Museum in Peronne - were selected to analyze how Henri Ciriani used light in his design phase and applied it to his museum works. According to the results of the study, it has been proved that Henri Ciriani tried to realize a space continuum through the spatial expansion, openness and closeness by natural light and incorporate the architectural form, interior space and exhibition circulation with natural light in order to create innovative exhibition space in museum buildings.

This study was to examine the relationship with the changes of computer technologies that was influenced in human sensorial perception and the changes of aesthetical expression in architecture that was expressed in Henri Ciriani's work after 1970's. As a result, the human sensorial perception that was caused by the changes of technologies has influenced on Henri Ciriani's space concepts and expressions of materials and forms. According to it, the aesthetics in a period was determined by the use of developped technologies. In my opnion, this could be a plastic art expressions.

The essence of architecture is space acquired as a result of architect's design act, but the object of the design is not the space and it is the physical elements to construct it. The masters of modern architecture have described the types of spaces that can be composed of these elements, but there is a difficulty in constructing the space because they does not mention how to construct it. From this point of view, if architecture is the techniques for human behavior and the art of building space, it is recognized that there is a need for concrete research on how to construct a space with ambiguous substance. Therefore, I conducted research on the extensibility of diagonal spaces through '4 Logements Studio' by Henri Ciriani, a representative architect of Neo Corbusian. The 'network for identity' method proposed by Ciriani was examined as a methode to realize spatial expansion and the furniture should be designed as an element of reading space and 3 optimal alternatives for 4 housing arrangements were obtained based on the Equivalence, Lighting, View, and Community life.

Purpose: This paper tried to understand the architectural concept of Neo Corbusian architects who had succeed to the Le Corbusier's principles of modern architecture and developed into their own creative architecture and formed a big achievement in the contemporary architecture. As representative Neo Corbusian architects, Henri Cirianni, Alvaro Siza and Laurant Beaudouin were selected to study their own design concepts and principles. Method: Three step study was conducted for the paper; Firstly, investigated significant differences about modern architecture between Le Corbusier and three neo corbusian architects; Secondly, analyzed the architectural meanings of 'Plan Libre' and 'Promenade Architecture' of three neo corbusian compared to Le Corbusier's ones; Finally, deducted their own design process to integrate the architectural concept of 'Plan Libre', 'Promenade Architecture' and 'Natural Light into architectural design. Results: According to the results of the research, Henri Cirianni, Alvaro Siza and Laurant Beaudouin made a splendid progress of Corbusier's modern concept, and then, created his own originative architecture by combining Plan Libre', 'Promenade Architecture' and 'Natural Light.
