클리어런스가 없는 초고압 회전용적형 헬리컬기어 펌프의 유동해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Fluid Flow Analysis of High Pressure Positive Displacement Pump without Clearance)

  • 고압과 정량 흡상을 목적으로 클리어런스가 없는 초고압 회전용적형 헬리컬기어 펌프의 개발을 진행하였다. 펌프의 내부 압력과 토출 유속을 검증하기 위해 CFD 해석을 수행하였다. 이에 따라 FVM 기법으로 유동해석을 수행하였는데 클리어런스가 없는 완전히 밀폐된 형태의 FVM 유동해석은 격자가 연속하게 구성되지 않아 유체영역이 분리되어 정상적인 결과를 얻어낼 수 없었다. 이러한 문제로 격자 구성이 필요치 않은 MPS 기법으로 유동해석을 수행하였고, MPS 유동해석을 통해 펌프의 내부 압력과 토출 유속을 확인할 수 있었다. 로터의 회전속도 1,000 rpm에서 펌프 내부의 압력은 최소일 때 19.5 bar, 최대일 때 44.6 bar이고, 평균 압력은 33.9 bar로 확인되었다. 토출 유속은 최소일 때 64.5 m/s, 최대일 때 84.8 m/s이고, 평균 유속은 76.1 m/s로 확인되었다. 본 연구를 통해 클리어런스가 없는 해석 모델의 유동해석은 FVM 기법보다는 MPS 기법이 더 적합하였음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 초고압 회전 용적형 헬리컬기어 펌프의 압력의 변화에 따른 유속과의 관계를 본 연구를 통해 규명할 수 있었다.

  • A rotordynamic analysis was performed with a dry vacuum pump, which is a major equipment in modern semiconductor and LCD manufacturing processes. The system is composed of screw rotors, lobes picking air, helical gears, driving motor, and support rolling element hearings of rotors and motor. The driving motor-screw rotor system has a rated speed of 6,300rpm, and was modeled utilizing a rotordynamic FE method for analysis, which was verified through the results of its 3-D finite element model. As loadings on the bearings due to the gear action were significant in the system considered, each resultant bearing load was calculated determinately and indeterminately by considering the generalized forces of the gear action as veil as the rotor itself. Each resultant hearing loading was used in calculating each stiffness of rolling element bearings. Design goals are to achieve wide separation margins of critical speeds and favorable unbalance responses of the rotor in the operating range. Then, a complex rotordynamic analysis of the system was carried out to evaluate its forward synchronous critical speeds, whirl natural frequencies and mode shapes, and unbalance responses under various unbalance locations. Results show that the entire system is well designed in the operating range. In addition, the procedure of rotordynamic analysis for dry vacuum pump rotor-bearing system was proposed and established.

Results show that the entire system is well designed in the operating range.   • This paper proposes the design and implementation of fluid flow generation system by using polypropylene(PP) water capture, which harvests electric energy from the kinetic energy of tidal current or water flow and drives the desired load, and applies it to the discharge drain of Hadong thermal power plant. This experimental system is composed of water captures, driving wheel, gear trains, 10[kW] synchronous generator, and three phase rectifying circuit which drives lamp load for test. The proposed water capturing system which is composed of water captures, rope and driving wheel, rotates as caterpillar according to water flow. This system is very easy to manufacture and more economical than another type of tidal current turbines such as conventional propeller and helical type. Also, we estimated the available fluid flow energy that can be extracted from the cooling water in discharge drain based on drain's cross-sectional area. Therefore, this paper confirms the validity of proposed fluid flow generation system with water captures and the possibility of its application for renewable energy generation in discharge drain of thermal power plant, from the obtained performance characteristic of this energy conversion system.

2.5MW 풍력발전기 기어박스 동특성 연구 (Study of Dynamic Characteristics of 2.5-MW Wind Turbine Gearbox)

  • In this study, a gearbox and blade were modeled in the MASTA program, and the housing and carrier components were modeled using a finite element method. Using substructure synthesis, all the components were combined and used to establish a vibration model of a 2.5-MW wind turbine gearbox. In addition, the safety displacement factor was evaluated using an AGMA data sheet about bearing's outer race for the input shaft and output shaft. As a result, the bearing's outer race for the input shaft, and the radial and axial responses were satisfied by the $1^{st}$ and $2^{nd}$ planetary gears and the $3^{nd}$ helical gear transmission error(TE), respectively. However, the output shaft support bearing's outer race responses were not satisfied with the radial response by the $2^{nd}$ TE and axial response by the $3^{rd}$ TE. To reduce the vibration, tooth modification was needed. After profile tooth modification, at the outer race of the output shaft support bearing, the radial response was reduced by approximately $20{\mu}m$, and the axial response was reduced by approximately $6{\mu}m$.

  • In order to reduce the lead-time and cost, the technology of rapid prototyping (RP) has been widely used. However, RP technologies have disadvantageous characteristics according to their working principle: low building speed, high cost for introduction and maintenance of RP apparatus, stair-stepped surface and additional post processing. A new rapid prototyping process, as a transfer type of Variable Lamination Manufacturing by using expandable polystyrene room (VLM-ST), has been developed to reduce building lime. apparatus cost including the introduction and the maintenance and additional post-processing. The objective of this study is to propose a VLM-ST process and to develop an apparatus for implementation of the process. Design criteria of the apparatus are defined and the techniques arc proposed to satisfy the design criterion. In order to examine the efficiency and applicability of the developed process, various three-dimensional shapes, such as a world-cup logo. a knob shape, an extruded cross, a twisted shape, a character, Son-o-kong. a helical gear shaped and a scissor shape are fabricated on the apparatus in which unit shape layer (USL) was generated to build up each layer.

  • 본 논문은 친환경 교통수단인 일반적인 체인형 자전거(Bicycle)를 대신할 수 있는 무체인(Chainless) 지능형 파워 보조 시스템(Power Assistant System)을 설계하여 자전거 운전상태에 맞추어 필요한 동력을 지원할 수 있는 전기자전거 모델을 제안 하고자 한다. 무체인 지능형 파워 보조 시스템의 답력 센서(sensor)를 통하여 자전거의 운전상태를 지능적으로 파악 할 수 있는 퍼지제어 알고리즘을 설계하고, 자전거 운전상태에 대한 파워 보조 시스템의 보조 동력을 제어하도록 하였다. 본 논문에서는 사람의 답력에만 의존하는 일반 자전거 시스템에 보조동력을 제공하는 무체인 지능형 전기자전거 모델을 설계하여 제시하였다.

  • 5MW급 풍력발전용 기어박스의 효율적인 구조해석과 근사모델을 생성하여 경량화를 위한 형상 최적설계를 수행하였다. 풍력발전용 기어박스의 구조는 기어 트레인, 축, 베어링, 하우징과 같이 복잡한 구성요소로 이루어져 있어 구조해석에 많은 요소 수를 요구하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 헬리컬 기어의 치강성 계수를 고려한 효과적인 기어박스의 구조해석 모델을 생성하였다. 치강성 계수를 사용한 유성 기어열은 상대적으로 적은 요소 수와 해석시간으로도 전체 기어박스 시스템의 구조해석과 형상 최적화를 가능케 한다. 치강성을 이용한 단순화된 해석모델과 근사모델을 적용하여 하우징 무게에 영향이 큰 부위의 두께를 설계변수로 설정하여 케이스 최적설계안을 도출하였으며, 최적설계를 위해 사용된 근사모델의 신뢰성과 최적 기어박스 하우징 형상의 수치해석을 통해 타당성을 검증하였다.
