RAPD Marker를 이용한 Hedera속 식물의 다양성 조사 (Assessment of Genetic Diversity of Hedera spp. Using RAPD Marker Technique)

  • Hedera helix 11계통, Hedera rhombea 3계통, Fatshedera lizei 1계통, 그리고 Fatsia japonica 1계통을 수집하였다. RAPD primer 10개를 이용하여 수집된 3속의 재료들의 유전적 다양성을 측정하였다. 3속을 재료로 사용하여 밴드간 96.9%의 높은 다형성을 보였다. 총 97개의 RAPD 밴드를 이진화하여 UPGMA 방법을 이용하여 계통도를 작성하였다. Hedera helix 계통들은 모두 1개의 그룹에 속하였으며 8계통의 유전적 거리는 극도로 적었으며 나머지 3계통 역시 유전적으로 가까웠다. 하지만 형태적으로는 높은 다형성을 보였다. 따라서 수집된 유전자원을 이용한 돌연변이체 개발이 가능성이 있는 방법으로 제시되었다. Fatsia japonica는 유전적으로 관계성이 적어 다른 종들과 평균 0.63의 유전적 거리를 보였다. Hedera helix와 Fatsia japonica 속간 교배를 통하여 개발된 Fatshedera lizei는 Hedera rhombea 계통들과 함께 계통도에서 위치하였다.

저관리 용기일체형 벽면녹화에서 황금줄사철과 송악의 초기활착에 미치는 친수성 중합체의 효용성 (Effect of Hydrophilic Polymer on Early Stages of Plant Growth of Euonymus fortunei 'Emerald and Gold' and Hedera japonica in a Vertical Greenery System for Low Maintenance)

  • The objective of this study was to exam early stages of plant growth of Euonymus fortunei 'Emerald and Gold' and Hedera japonica grown in fabric felt bag attached on vertical greenery system with the ratio of hydrophilic polymer to substrate, 0(referred as Control), 0.1, 0.2, or 0.4% (v/v), in order to effectively utilize rainfall for low maintenance. After rainfall, the increase in volumetric water content of substrate amended with the hydrophilic polymer was between 13% and 87%, compared to that in Control. During drought period, higher ratio of hydrophilic polymer to substrate slowly decreased the volumetric water content, and increased plant height, leaf length, leaf width, number of leaves, branch number, and stem diameter of both Euonymus fortunei 'Emerald and Gold' and Hedera japonica with the highest fresh and dry weights of shoots or roots under the 0.1% ratio of hydrophilic polymer.

부산의 상록식물상과 분포 (Flora and Distribution of Evergreen Plants in Busan)

  • 부산지역의 상록식물상과 분포를 파악하기 위하여 2003년 2월부터 2004년 10월까지 23지점을 조사하였다 조사결과 동정된 상록식물은 33과 51속 60종 8변종으로 총 68종류로 나타났으며, 인동덩굴, 털인동, 으름덩굴, 천선과나무, 돌가시나무, 장딸기, 순비기나무, 구골나무, 밀사초 등의 9종을 상록식물로 분류하였다. 상록식물의 수직적 식생분포에 있어서 해송군락이 상층부의 수관을 이루고 있었으며, 그 아래 사스레피나무군락이 사철나무, 보리밥나무 등의 군락과 함께 중층을 구성하고, 송악, 마삭줄, 장딸기 등이 하층에 분포하고 있었다. 이 외의 군락으로는 참식나무-생달나무군락, 천선과 나무군락, 송악-마삭줄군락, 자금우군락, 발풀고사리군락, 풀고사리군락이 분포하고 있었다. 본 23개의 조사지역에서 출현율에 의한 분석 결과 출현율 50% 이상인 종은 해송을 비롯하여 13종, 출현율 10% 이하인 종은 고란초를 비롯한 29종이었다. 상록식물의 분포는 해안에서 내륙지역으로 갈수록 확연히 감소하는 경향을 보여 주었으며, 주로 해안과 인접한 곳에 분포하고 있었다.

오동도 식물상에 관한 생태학적 연구 (An Ecological Study on the Flora of Odongdo Island)

  • The vegetation of Odongdo island was surveyed over twenty-nine times from April, 1982 to August, 1983. This island is located at 127。46'05'∼127。39'37'E. longitude and 34。40'20'∼34。48'14'N. latitude. The vegetation of this island consisted of 94 families, 261 genera, 314 species, 53 varieties and 6 formae. And among them were 170 species of woody plants and 203 species of herbs. The community of evergreen broad-leaved trees comprised a total of 44 species including Sasa coreana Nakai and camellia japonica L. and the distribution of evergreen broad-leaved trees was good in this island as a whole. Sasa coreana Nakai, Castanopsis cuspidata var. sieboldii Nakai, Ficus erecta Thunb., Ficus nipponica Fr. et Sav, Stauntonia hexaphylla (Thunb.) Decne, Cinnamomum japonicum Sieb., Machilus thunbergii S. et Z., Lozoste lancifolia (S. et Z.) Bl., Ilex intergra Thunb., Camellia japonica Thunb., Hedera rhombea Bean and Ardisia japonica Bl. etc. in this island were autochthonous flora and their preservation is required.

천관산 지역의 관속식물상 (Vascular Plants of Mt. Cheon-gwan)

  • 천관산 지역에서 채집된 표본을 동정한 결과, 관속식물 전체 종수는 117과 366속 519종 76변종 4품종으로 총 599종류로 나타났다. 본 지역은 봉의꼬리, 족제비고사리, 비자나무, 개비자나무, 참식나무, 붉가시나무, 송악, 팔손이, 동백나무, 사스레피나무, 차나무, 석창포, 이대 및 조릿대 등의 상록성 수종과 소사나무, 푸조나무, 상산이나 실고사리 등 낙엽성 난대성 식물이 혼재하고 있다. 구실사리, 히어리, 노각나무, 족도리풀, 노랑 제비꽃, 끈끈이주걱 등이 분포하는 것도 특기할 만하다. 환경부에서 지정한 평가단위별 특정식물은 5 등급이 1 분류군, 4등급은 1 분류군, 3 등급은 5 분류군, 2등급이 1 분류군 그리고 1등급이 37분류군으로 총 45 분류군으로 확인되었다.

방음벽 녹화를 위한 덩굴식물 활용성 연구 (The Experiment of Vine for Covering the Traffic Noise Barrier)

  • The objective of this study was to covering of vine the traffic noise barrier and analyse of their growth characteristics. For the purpose of the experiments, chosen were 28 plants. In January 1996 to December 1998, the nursery seedbeds on the Chonju Arboretum in Korea Highway Corporation were seeding and cutting with those species, and a few species were carried out Honam Highway field experiments. The results are summarized as follows ; The germination ratio of seedbed experiments were Wisteria floribunda(88%), Lonicera japonica(86%), Parthenocissus tricuspidata, Paederia scandens(85%), Celastrus orbiculatus(76%), Clematis terniflora var. denticulata(52%), Clematis mandshurica(44%) respectively. The rooting ratio of cutting experiments were Trachelospermum asiaticum var. intermedium(88%), Parthenocissus quinquefolia(87%), Trachelospermum asiaticum var. asiatica(85%), Kadsura japonica(82%), Hedera rhombea(81%), Euonymus fortunei var. radicans(83%), Trachelospermum jasminoides var. pubescens(80%), Lonicera japonica cv. Aureo-reticulata(80%), Trachelospermum asiaticum var. majus(78%), Euonymus radicans cv. Aureo-marginata(66%), in descending order. As a conclusion, this study shows that the traffic noise barrier was effected by Paederia scandens, Lonicera japonica, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Wisteria floribunda, Parthenocissus tricuspidata in the field experiments and the others were necessary to maintainable management.

남부지역의 특성을 고려한 상록벽면녹화 공법 개발 -경남 통영시를 사례로- (Development of Green Retaining-wall System with Native Evergreen Plants Corresponding to the Southern Region - A Case Study of Tongyeong City in Gyeongsangnam-do -)

  • This study was carried out to investigate and propose a green-wall system with evergreen plants for urban greening of Tongyeong City. To achieve these goals, the requirements and possibilities for wall greening were investigated and evaluated considering the location, topography, and climate of Tongyeong City. Existing walls were analyzed and then a suitable green wall system is proposed. Tongyeong City and its 151 islands covers the central and the southern parts of the Goseong peninsula. Most of the land is covered with hills and mountains; $43.9\%$ of the land area has a slope greater than $15\%$ and most hills and mountains near the urban area have a slope of more than $30\%$. As a result of the topographical properties, concrete retaining walls can often be seen along the streets in urbanized areas. These retaining walls are not only unattractive, but they also create environmental problems, and thus should be replaced with native evergreen plants. Options for replacing the retaining walls include evergreen vine-plants such as Hedaa spp. and Euonymus radicans, but native evergreen shrubs such as Pittosporum tobira, Nandina domestica, Raphiolepis umbellata, Ilex cornuta, flex crenata, Fatsia japonic, and Aucuba japonica may be a more attractive option. Current wall conditions are unsuitable for planting vines, therefore, a reservoir-drainage-type plant box filled with a light artificial substrate is required for greening these concrete retaining walls. These might be irrigated in the dry season and fertilized annually by an appropriate system. These plant boxes could be attached along the entire walls. An experiment investigating effects of substrates and bark-chip mulching on the growth of Hedera spp. showed that the mixture of cerasoil and field soil(v/v, 4:6) was superior to field soil alone and to the mixture of perlite small grain, large grain, and field soil(v/v/v, 2:2:6). 월출산국립공원 상록활엽수 분포 및 군집구조 (Distribution and Population Structure of Evergreen Broad-Leaved Forest in the Weolchulsan National Park)

  • 월출산국립공원 전 지역을 대상으로 146개의 조사구를 설치하여 상록활엽수 개체군 동태를조사한 결과, 월출산국립공원내 자생하는 것으로 확인한 상록활엽수종은 총 13종이었고, 주요 곡간부를 중심으로 최대 해발 450m까지 분포하는 것으로 조사되었다. 월출산국립공원에 자생하는 상록활엽수중 동백나무, 사스레피나무, 붉가시나무는 식물군락을 이루며 분포하였으나, 참식나무, 모새나무, 차나무, 보리밥나무, 광나무, 자금우는 반상이나 단독 형태로 분포하였다. 지피식물인 마삭줄, 백화등, 송악은 국지적으로 희소하게 출현하였다. 월출산국립공원의 일부 지역에서 소규모 형태로 붉가시나무림이 분포하였고, 상록활엽수들은 소나무군락, 굴참나무군락, 상수리나무군락의 임상층에서 주로 분포하고 있었다. 붉가시나무군락은 그 세력이 확장될 것으로 생각되며, 붉가시나무가 생육하고 있는 소나무군락과 낙엽활엽수림군락들은 붉가시나무군락으로 식생천이가 예상된다.

Studies of Vegetation Structure Analysis and Vegetation Transition over 25 years of Evergreen Broad-leaved Forest in Hong-Do Island

  • This study aims at classifying and interpreting on the vegetation structure and the vegetation transition over 25 years (between 1986 and 2010), and the correlation with the change of some conditions (the vegetation height and coverage on each layer and the climate factors as WI, CI, mean annual temperature, mean annual total precipitation etc.) in the Evergreen Broad-Leaved Forest,, Hong-Do island. The EBLF is classified into five units of vegetation (Hedera rhombea-Machilus thunbergii community (M-M comm.), Castanopsis sieboldii forest (Machilus japonica-Castanopsis sieboldii community; Raphiolepis indica var. umbellata-C. sieboldii community), community (Qa comm.), Carpinus turczaninovii community (Ct comm.), Camellia japonica stand (Cj stand)). The vegetation transition by CCA had high correlation with the height and coverage on each layer and the climate factors, and it did the succession (transition) that the M-M comm. (2010) from Mallotus japonicus community Machilus thunbergii community Carpinus coreana community (Cc comm.) Aucuba japonica community (Aj comm.) Trachelos permum asiaticum var. intermedium-Quercus acuta community (TQ comm.) (1986), the communities of C. sieboldii forest (2010) from Aj comm. TQ comm. Raphiolepis umbellata-Camellia japonica community (RC comm.) (1986), the Qa comm. (2010) from Ardisia japonica-Castanopsis sieboldii community (AC comm.) and TQ comm. (1986), the Ct comm. (2010) from Cc comm. RC comm. Aj comm. Quercus serrata community and the Cj stand (2010) from AC comm. (1986). the height and coverage on each layer are also changed.

컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 이용한 방음벽 녹화모델 개발 - 고속도로 방음벽 녹화용 덩굴식물을 중심으로 - (Simulation Model Development of Vines by Computer for Green Covering of the Traffic Noise Barrier - Centered on Vines for Green Covering of Highway Traffic Noise Barrier -)

  • The objective of this study is on suggesting the simulation model of 10 selected plants for the traffic noise barrier through field experiment by computer. The field experiment was carried out at the traffic noise barrier of Honam highway. The results are as follows. 1. It was identified that Paederia scandens, Celastrus Orbiculatus, Lonicera japonica, Wisteria floribunda, Parthenocissus tricuspidata and Parthenocissus quinquefolia grows well vertically and takes 3 years in covering completely. 2. It was identified that Trachelospermum asiaticum and Hedera rhombea, evergreen Climber(vine), grows slowly in comparative with other deciduous Climbers(vine), but give drivers good landscapes in winter. So those have considerable value in the south region of Taejeon. 3. It was identified that Wisteria jl.oribunda, Lonicera japonica, Paederia scandens, Clematis mandschurica and Campsis grandijlora showed good view in flowering period. 4. It was identified that auxiliary materials for inducing growth were needed in other plants except Parthenocissus tricuspidata, Parthenocissus quinquefolia. 5. It was identified that subsequent research about the auxiliary materials for inducing growth and adequate planting distance of each plants is needed for actual application.
