냉연 연속 소둔로 가열대 판온제어 (Strip temperature control for the heating furnace in the continuous-annealing line)

  • Recently batch type cold rolling processes have been replaced by continuous annealing type processes for cold rolled sheets of mild steel and high strength steel in order to obtain higher productivity, labor saving. In the continuous annealing line, it is very important to maintain the target steel strip temperature at the exit side of each furnace. The automation system of continuous annealing line is based on a hierachical composition. This paper shows how to preset the set value of furnace temperature control for the heating section in a continuous annealing line. Saying in other words, this paper presents the development of an adaptive control approach to control the exit strip temperature in the continuous annealing line. There are three parts in this approach; one is a process modelling and another is recursive parameter estimation and the other is a design of temperature controller.

  • This paper presents an effective control scheme incorporated in the voltage-fed half-bridge series resonant inverter for induction heating applications, which is based upon a load-adaptive tuned frequency tracking control strategy using PLL(Phase Locked Loop) and its peripheral control circuit. The proposed control strategy ensures a stable operation characteristics of overall inverter system and ZVS(Zero Voltage Switching0 operation in spite of sensitive load parameters variation as well as power regulation, specially in the non-magnetic heating loads. The simulation results and the performance characteristics in the steady-state are shown as compared with the experimental results for a prototype induction cooking system rated at 1.2kW.

  • In this paper, a new distributed intelligent control module based on LonWorks fieldbus for air handling unit(AHU) of heating, ventilating and air-conditioning(HVAC) is proposed to replace with a conventional direct digital control(DDC) with 32 bit microprocessor. The proposed control architecture has a excellent features such as highly compact and flexible function design, a low priced smart front-end and reliable performance with various functions. This also addresses issues in control network configuration, logical design of field devices by S/W tool, Internet networking and electronic element installation. Experimental results showing the system performance are also included in this paper.

  • In the present study, optimal heat supply algorithm which minimize the heat loss through the distribution pipe line in group energy apartment was developed. Variation of heating load of group energy apartment building in accord with the outdoor air temperature was predicted by the heating load-outdoor temperature correlation. Supply water temperature and mass flow rate were controlled to minimize the heat loss through distribution pipe line. District heating apartment building located in Hwaseong city, which has 1,473 households, was selected as the object building for testing the present heat supply a1gorithm. Compared to the previous heat supply system, 10.4% heat loss reduction can be accomplished by employing the present method.

  • Even though the control device of the heating system works well, insufficient water flow rates can degrade control performance and thermal comfort. The water flow rate should be adjusted appropriately to cope with the heating load of each zone. In order to solve these problems, a new balancing concept 'dynamic balancing' was proposed where a balancing valve opening can be automatically modulated according to the heating condition of the room. This study analyzed the effects of dynamic balancing upon indoor thermal environment and energy consumption in a radiant floor heating system through field measurement. Under part-load conditions, the use of a dynamic balancing is a more effective method to reduce energy consumption and to prevent a cavitation. Dynamic balancing is able to help boost the temperature of a room in the start-up period.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the new korean district heating system for apartment houses. The upper & lower side ondol system with multi sensing control system was developed as a new korean district heating system and evaluated in 2 mock-up laboratories last winter. As a result of field measurement, when the load differences between perimeter zone and central zone are increased, the ondol system divided in the upper and lower side can be evaluated as the new ondol system with a capability for suppling proper heating energy for each zone. The user can have the freedom for changing an upper zone and a lower zone and controlling each temperature according to their needs.

  • 고주파 유도 가열 시스템에서 철과 같은 물체를 가열하게 되면, 가열된 금속이 큐리점 부근에서 전기적인 임피던스가 급격하게 변화하는 특징을 가지는 시변 시스템이 된다. 또한 부하 임피던스가 변화함에 따라 시스템의 부하 공진 주파수가 달라지므로 해서 시스템의 효율이 감소하는 문제점이 있었다. 그리고, 피가열 물체의 용융이나 삽입 상태에 따른 시스템의 단락 현상으로 인해 시스템이 파괴되는 문제점이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 이런 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방법으로 PLL에 의한 부하 공진 주파수를 추종하면서 스위칭 손실을 줄이고, 시변 부하에 대한 유도 가열시 큐리점 부근의 급격한 부하 임피던스 변화에도 안정된 정전력 제어가 가능할 뿐 아니라 대전력용에 적합하고, 단락현상으로부터 시스템을 보호하는 병렬 공진형 인버터 시스템에 적용되는 퍼지논리 제어기를 설계하였다.

  • In this paper, the design sensitivity formula for the control of the transient temperature distribution is developed using the direct differentiation method, and used for the optimal design of induction heating coil position. The temperature distribution is calculated using the heat source of the induced eddy current and heat diffusion equation. The physical property variations of the workpiece depending on the temperature are considered. The eddy current distribution and the temperature distribution are calculated with the 2D finite element procedure. The adjoint variable technique is employed in expressing the design sensitivity. The goal of the design is to have the desired distribution of the temperature on a specific region of the sensitivity. 실내 CO2 농도와 PIR 신호를 활용한 주거건물의 재실 추정 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Algorithm for the Occupancy Inference in Residential Buildings using Indoor CO2 Concentration and PIR Signals)

  • Occupancy-based heating control is effective in reducing heating energy by preventing unnecessary heating during unoccupied period. Various technologies on detecting human occupancy have been developed using complicated machine learning algorithm and stochastic methodologies. This study aims at deriving low-cost and simple algorithm of occupancy inference that can be implemented to residential buildings. The core concept of the algorithm is to combine the occupancy probabilities based on indoor CO2 concentration and PIR(passive infrared) signals. The probability was estimated by applying different levels of decrement ratio depending on CO2 concentration change rate and aggregated PIR signals. The developed algorithm was validated by comparing the inference results with the occupancy schedule in a real residential building. The results showed that the inference algorithm can achieve the accuracy of 75~99%, which would be successfully implemented to the control of residential heating systems.

열처리 및 겨자유의 첨가가 김치 발효에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Low Temperature Heating and Mustard Oil on the Kimchi Fermentation)

  • 항균력을 지닌다고 보고된 겨자유는 김치의 주요 유산균인 락토바실루스 플란타룸(Lactobacillus plantarum), 락토바실루스 브레비스(Lactobacillus brevis), 페디오코커스 세레비지에 (Pediococcus cerevisiae), 로이코너스톡 메세테로이데스(Leuconostoc mesenteroides)에 항균력을 지니고 있었으며, 김치제조시 겨자유 및 겨자분을 첨가하였을 때 적숙기에 이르는 시간이 지연되었다. 겨자유의 매운맛은 배추, 무우의 매운맛 성분과 잘 조화되어 풍미에 좋은 영향을 줄 뿐 아니라 신맛을 약화시키는 효과도 지니고 있었다. 저온 열처리+겨자+과산화수소 처리 병용은 숙성이 완만하게 진행되어서 대조군에 비해 김치 적숙기에 이르는 시간이 2.5배 정도 연장되었다. 저온 열처리+겨자+과산화수소+후처리 병용군은 $15^{\circ}C$에서 저장하는 동안 발효가 천천히 진행되어 저장 15일 후에도 pH 4.32, 산도 0.4%로서 숙성 초기단계에 머물러 있었으며 대조군에 비해 김치적숙기에 이르는 시간이 5배 정도 연장되었다.
