  • This study performed an experimental test to derive the characteristics of compressive strength, het of hydration and creep of roller compacted concrete. The main variable of strength test are cement content and fly ash content. The heat of hydration test was performed using MARUTO CH-50-CA and dreep test was carried out according to KS F 2453.

  • 두 物體의 接蝕部에 있어서 윤활상의 向題는 아직 原因을 糾明하지 못한 것이 많다. 특히 선접식 마찰기구. 즉 壓延潤滑 등에서는 안정된 유막형성이 製品의 품질에 커다란 영향을 미치며, 또한 모든 마찰기구에서도 유막형성 향제는 윤활특성에 큰 영향을 미친다. 이에 관한 연구로서 CHENG 등은 윤활막의 連續的인 존재를 가정한 解析을 하였고, KIMURA 등은 압연윤활에서의 윤활막의 파단은 강판과 Roller의 heat streak의 원인이 된다고 발표한 바 있으며 국내에서도 Journal Bearing의 혼합윤활특성에 대하여 보고된 바 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 압연윤활을 Model 화한 Roller Disk형 시험기를 제작하여 가중과 r.p.m 변화에 따른 마찰력과 온도변화와 그에 따른 유막의 상태에 의한 윤활특성을 연구하고자 한다.

다공질 자용성 합금 피복에 의한 열간 압연용 런-아웃 테이블 롤러의 내구성 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Durability for Run-out Table Roller with Hot Rolling by Porous Self-fluxing Alloy Coating)

  • 본 연구목적은 열간압연용 런-아웃 테이블 롤러 표면의 기계적 성질을 개선하기 위해 다공질 자용성 합금으로 피복하는 방법을 개발하는 것이다. 열간압연에서 런-아웃 테이블의 롤러 내구성을 높이기 위해서는 고온에서 롤러표면의 경도를 높게 유지해야 하고, 내마모성, 내식성, 내열성, 내소부성 및 내응착성의 향상을 유지하여야 한다. 또한, 고온의 열연 강판을 안정적으로 이송할 수 있도록 하기 위해서는 롤러표면에 적절한 마찰계수를 유지하도록 하여야 하고, 롤러와 강판 사이에 미끄럼 발생이 없어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 자용성 합금에 텅스텐카바이드를 첨가시켜 서메트화하여 롤러의 내마모성을 증대시켰고, 미세 철분말을 롤러표면에 피복하여 다공질을 만들어 마찰계수를 높이고 붙잡음성을 향상시켰다. 그 결과, Ni-Cr 피복 롤러에 비하여 다공질 자용성 합금 피복 롤러는 피복층에 철분이 5 ~ 10 wt%로 많이 함유되어 재용융 공정에서 전기로로 가열하여 일부분만 합금화되고 나머지는 산화 및 용해에 의해 탈락되어 다공질로 나타나 강판과의 붙잡음성을 향상시켰다.

  • In this study, a super carburizing treatment was applied to improve roller pitting fatigue life. It produced excellent properties of surface hardness and temper softening resistance by forming precipitation of fine and spherodized carbides on a tempered marstensite matrix through the repeated process of carburization and diffusion after high temperature carburizing step 1. The cycle II performed two times carburizing/diffusion cycle (process) after super carburization at $1,000^{\circ}C$ had fine and spherodized carbides to subsurface $200{\mu}m$. In this case, the carbide was $(Fe,Cr)_3C$ and there was not any massive carbides. In the case of Cycle II, the roller pitting fatigue life had a 6.15 million cycles. It was improved 48% compared to normal gas carburizing treatment.

  • PVC사의 연신은 Fig. 1과 같이 끊는 물 속에서 이루어지며 연신 후 정전기 방지를 위해 유제를 습식 방법으로 처리한다. 따라서 건조와 heat set chamber에 들어가기 전 어느 정도의 수분과 유제를 함유한 체 각각의 chamber를 통과하며 건조, heat set된다. 본 연구의 목표는 연신 후 squeezing roller의 접압에 따른 건조시간의 관계와 heat set온도, 시간에 따른 열 수축률의 관계를 알아보고자 한다. (중략)

낮은 증발온도에서 운전되는 가변속 롤러형 베인 압축기의 성능특성에 관한 분석 (Analysis on the performance characteristics of a variable-speed, roller-type vane compressor operating at low evaporating temperature)

  • Performance of a variable-speed, roller-type vane compressor was evaluated at low evaporating temperature. First, an experimental investigation was conducted to examine the performance variation as functions of both outdoor temperature and rotating speed. For this purpose, a typical heat pump was implemented as a test apparatus to measure mass flow rate and power input. Secondly, computational investigations corresponding to the heat pump test conditions were performed to predict compressor performance using ORNL Map-Based compressor model. Results obtained from the heat-pump experiments showed that both mass flow rate and power consumption were sensitively dependent on both evaporating temperature and compressor speed as was predicted from the computational results. From the comparisons of both experimental and computational results, it was well recognized that the ORNL model was subjected to larger error in the accuracy of prediction as outdoor temperature decreased. When the outdoor temperature was above $-5^{\cire}C$, errors of predicted values corresponding to both mass flow rate and power consumption were estimated as $\pm$10% and $\pm$ 15%, respectively. Finally, it is suggested that the ORNL model needs to be re-evaluated if compressor map data tested below $-5^{\cire}C$(in evaporating temperature) are available.

박판 알루미늄 도금강판의 플라즈마 용접성에 미치는 용접조건 및 롤러의 영향 (Effect of Welding Condition and Roller on Weldability of Al Coated Steel Sheet using Plasma Arc Welding)

  • Al-coated steel sheets with excellent heat and corrosion resistance are widely used in various applications. In welding of thin plate, some defects such as unmelted zone and metal-through occur easily in the beginning and ending of welding line. In the study, the welding defects in Al-coated steel sheets were investigated with respect to plasma arc current, height between Cu block and base metals, and using a roller to align the height of the base metal. Full penetration and voids free welds were obtained with a plasma arc current 52A and weld speed 2.3m/min. An unmelted zone increased and Ericshen rate decreased as the height between Cu block and base metal increased from 0 to 0.6mm. Using a roller moving ahead of the plasma arc, the length of unmelted zone decreased from 1.7mm to 0.5mm.

스피닝을 이용한 롱넥플랜지의 성형공정 개발 (Development of Manufacturing Process for Long-Neck Flange by Spinning)

  • The long neck flange is used to connect piping arrangements where the lap joint is applied. Generally, the component can be manufactured by welding, but this method is both time and cost intensive. Embrittlement at the heat affected zones was also considered. A spinning method developed to improve the manufacturing process and solve the problems of welding. The flange area of the long neck flange can be formed by changing the direction of the metal flow, from axial to radial, while maintaining pressure by using an outer mold and a lap roller. A modified process was additionally developed using a round roller rather than the outer mold. In this modification, the round roller can form the shape of all sizes of long neck flange. Using these flexible methodologies, the cost to prepare outer molds and the time to install and remove the molds can be significantly reduced.

Ni계 합금분말 용사 코팅기술을 적용한 롤 제조기술 연구 (A Study on the Roll Manufacturing Technology Applying Powder Flame Spray Coating Technology of Ni-Based Alloy Powder)

  • The purpose of this study is to improve the mechanical properties and develop manufacturing technology through self-soluble alloy powder flame spray coating on the surface of a run-out table roller for hot rolling. The roller surface of the run-out table should maintain high hardness at high temperatures and possess high wear, corrosion, and heat resistances. In addition, sufficient bonding strength between the thermal spray coating layer and base material, which would prevent the peel-off of the coating layer, is also an important factor. In this study, the most suitable powder and process for roll manufacturing technology are determined through the initial selection of commercial alloy powder for roll manufacturing, hardness, component analysis, and bond strength analysis of the powder and thermal spray coating layer according to the powder.
