자활사업참여자의 가족탄력성이 자활의지에 미치는 영향: 정신건강의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Family Resilience on Willingness for Self-sufficiency in Self-sufficiency Program Participants: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Mental Health)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 자활사업참여자의 가족탄력성이 자활의지에 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 그 관계에서 정신건강의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 조사대상자는 강원도의 지역자활센터 참여자 283명이다. 분석방법은 기술통계, 차이검증을 실시하였고 연구모형 검증을 위해 위계적 회귀분석과 매개효과 방법을 실시하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 차이검증은 돌봄가족이 있는 경우 자활의지 수준이 더 높았다. 연령이 30대 이하보다 40-50대, 결혼상태가 미혼보다 결혼, 건강상태가 매우나쁨보다 보통이거나 매운건강한 경우, 돌봄가족이 있는 경우 가족탄력성 수준이 더 높았다. 건강상태가 매우나쁨보다 매우건강함인 경우, 부채가 없는경우 정신건강 수준이 더 높았다. 둘째, 자활의지에 미치는 영향관계를 분석한 결과 연령이 높을수록, 돌봄가족이 있을수록, 가족탄력성과 정신건강 수준이 높을수록 자활의지 수준이 높았다. 셋째, 매개효과 분석결과 가족탄력성과 자활의지 사이에서 정신건강은 부분매개효과가 있었다. 따라서 자활사업참여자의 자활의지 수준 향상을 위한 요인으로 가족탄력성과 정신건강 증진을 위한 함의에 대해 논의하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the organizational characteristic and workers characteristics of Family Business Organization on its Business Performance. The subjects of this study were workers of healthy family support centers and multicultural family support centers. A survey was conducted from July 30th to September 30th. A total 372 materials were used for analysis of final data and SPSS(Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) WIN 18.0 program was employed in analyzing the collected data. As the result of analysing the effect of organizational characteristics and culture and characteristics of workers on business performance through hierarchical regression analysis, higher performance was achieved when the agency's organizational culture has the characteristics of a developed culture, and when the operating body is a school principal corporation rather than a non-profit corporation, and in the city rather than farming town, having enough information and external resources at the center, and when the job satisfaction of workers are high, and when organizational culture is more hierarchical. There were difference in the result of analysing the effect of organizational characteristic and culture and characteristic of workers on business performance. The level of service and business value of Family Service Organization was higher when the agency's organizational culture has the characteristics of a developed culture, hierarchical culture and agreement culture, and when operating body is a school principal corporation rather than a non-profit corporation, having enough information and external resources at the center, and the administrative skills of workers are higher. Business volume is increased when the operating body is a school principal corporation rather than a non-profit corporation, and in the city rather than farming town, and when the agency's organizational culture has the characteristics of hierarchical culture and agreement culture, having enough external resources at the center, and the practicing ability of workers are higher. When it comes to business efficiency, it is increased when the agency's organizational culture has the characteristics of developed culture and the job satisfaction of workers are high, having enough external and financial resources at the center. Therefore we will need to enhance business performance through improved management and job satisfaction of employees in organizational culture.

공적 가족사업역사 아카이브 구축을 위한 기초 연구 (A Study on the Implementation of Official Family-related Service History Archives in Korea)

  • This study aims to provide basic resources for the construction of the archives on the official family service history in Korea. The study collected records of family policies and official family service from 1948 to 2019 and thereafter attempted to classify the official family service. In addition, experts were consulted to diagnose compliance with research contents and directions, investigate priorities of the family policies, and provide opinions on the elements of each process of archiving. The results of this study were as follows. First, there were five areas of concern to be considered in the process of establishing an archive of official family services: concept, scope, collection, arrangement, preservation, and utilization. Second, the findings suggest which processes are critical to developing a sustainable and systematic archive system for the official family service history. The construction of the archives will provide a platform for understanding the contents of integrated family policies and inform the direction of future family policies in Korea. In addition, these archives will be an important factor in building a solid Korean national identity.

청년 1인가구의 생활시간 사용 연구 -성별·취업여부에 따른 식사와 여가활동을 중심으로- (Study of the Time Use of Unmarried Single Households -With a Focus on Meal Acivities and Leisure by Gender and Employment Status-)

  • This study analyzed time allocation in unmarried single household. It examined meal activities and leisure by gender and employment status using the 2014 time-use survey data of 1,664 cases provided by Statistics Korea. Descriptive statistics, a paired t-test, and regression were conducted using the SPSS 24 program. The results showed that the total time for meal activities in unmarried single households was 125 minutes. Most meal activities consisted of eating activities, and the meal preparation time was about 19 minutes. Females spent much longer time in meal preparation than males. Leisure time was 285 minutes, and the longest time spent of leisure activities was spent using medias. Males' total leisure time was longer than females' total leisure time. Finally, employed individuals spent much longer periods of time in leisure than unemployed individuals. All the results showed differences between genders and employment status.

베트남 이주여성의 생활습관이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Lifestyle Habits of Vietnamese Immigrant Women on Quality of Life)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study was to examine the daily lifestyle of Vietnamese immigrant women and to find out if they could affect health-related quality of life improvement. Methods The subjects of this study were 273 women who immigrated to Korea from Vietnam. This study was conducted at Daejeon and nearby Healthy Family Support Centers from September 2019 to January 2020 with the cooperation of the Daejeon City Healthy Family Support Center. Correlation analysis was performed between lifestyle and quality of life, and ANOVA analysis was performed to confirm the difference in health-related quality of life scores for each subgroup of dietary nutrition, sleep quality, and physical activity. A regression analysis was conducted to investigate the contribution of dietary nutrition, sleep quality, and physical activity to the quality of life of Vietnamese immigrant women. The significance level was p<0.05. Results Physical activity showed significant correlations with Euro Quality of Life -Visual Analogue Scale (EQ VAS), sleep quality with EQ VAS and Euro Quality of Life-5Dimension (EQ-5D) Index, and dietary nutrition with EQ-5D Index. There were significant differences in EQ VAS and EQ-5D Index scores for each sleep quality subgroup, and a significant difference in EQ VAS scores for each activity subgroup. The quality of sleep was found to have the greatest effect on EQ VAS and EQ Index of Vietnamese immigrant women, and physical activity on EQ VAS and dietary nutrition had some influence on EQ-5D Index. Conclusions Quality of sleep is closely related to health-related quality of life, and plays an important role in health-related quality of life for Vietnamese immigrant women.

수감자의 출소 후 가족복귀 경험에 관한 교정기관 상담자의 인식 (An Qualitative Study on Correctional institution Counselors' Perception of Ex-Offender's Experience regarding Reintegration into Family)

  • 본 연구는 상담자의 눈을 통해 성인출소자의 출소 후 가족 관계 회복 과정에 대한 이해를 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 법무부 산하의 한국법무보호복지공단 서울, 인천, 부산, 대구, 경남 지부 및 법무보호복지공단과 가족상담 연계 서비스를 진행하는 건강가정지원센터에서 출소자와 그 가정을 대상으로 숙식 및 주거 지원, 심리 지원, 자녀 학업 지원을 담당하고 있는 상담 전문가 8명에게 심층 면접을 실시하고, 면접 자료를 합의적 질적 연구 방법(CQR)으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다: 상담자들은 대부분의 출소자들이 가족이 부재한 어린 시절을 보내며 부모와의 유대나 신뢰관계가 형성되지 못한 구조적·기능적 결손을 경험하였다고 인식하였다. 둘째, 상담자가 인식한 출소자의 가족, 즉 배우자와 자녀의 전형적인 특징은 자녀에게 부모의 수감사실을 숨기는 가족의 비밀이 있다는 것이다. 셋째, 상담자들은 가족에 대하여 출소자가 갖는 책임감, 가족 간의 원활한 의사소통, 가족 구성원으로서의 역할 수행을 가족 복귀의 성공요인으로 인식하는 반면 가족에 대한 의존심, 출소자에 대한 가족의 거부와 회피, 가족구성원으로서의 존재감 상실을 가족 복귀의 실패요인으로 보고 있었다. 또한 강간이나 알코올 중독, 폭력, 살인 등에 비해 횡령, 사기 등과 같은 경제사범들의 가족복귀가 비교적 원활한 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 넷째, 출소자의 가족관계 회복을 위한 상담 및 심리지원에 있어 상담자들은 휴식의 개념을 매우 중요하게 인식하고 있었고, 출소자 및 그 가족에 대한 개입을 실시하기 전에 철저한 스크리닝이 이루어져야 한다는 점을 강조하였다. 본 연구는 출소자 및 그 가정에 대한 심리적·상담적 개입 방안을 모색하고, 출소자의 가정 복귀 및 가족관계 회복을 돕는 프로그램 개발의 토대를 마련했다는 데 그 의의가 있다.

문화상호주의적 관점에서 본 베트남 다문화가족의 가족생활적응 사례연구 (A Case Study on Adaptability Factors in Family Life for Vietname Multi-cultural Families in Korea in Terms of the Inter-culturalism)

  • The present study aims to investigate cultural similarities and differences that influence interracial couples (between Korean men and Vietnamese women) when adapting to Korean family culture in terms of interculturalism. The interviewees consisted of three generations. This study used in-depth interviews. Data was collected from January to August 2008. 15 families (45 people) were used for analysis. Results were as follows: (1) the patriarchal culture of the two nations had a positive influence on the adaptation of members during family interactions(2) the culture of filial piety is a value system that both nations believe is important. However, different rituals had a negative influence on the practice of filial piety (3) the community-oriented culture is regarded as important in the two nations. However, Vietnamese wives cannot lead a free community life because Koreans see them in negative terms (4) the Vietnamese traditional wedding custom called "NopJjeOh" had a negative influence on the adaptation to the Korean family culture (5) the preference for sons in Vietnam is not as high as in Korea. This difference had a negative influence on adaptation (6) clear differences between the daily lives of the two nations had a negative influence on adaptation to Korean family culture. In conclusion, Korea and Vietnam have many similarities in culture, which enable Vietnamese wives to adapt to Korean culture more easily than other foreign wives. If various programs are developed to promote the mutual understanding between both cultures based on these research findings, it would further contribute toward social integration in Korea.

Introduction of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in Korea and Their Role During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Focusing on the Ministry of Education Policy

  • This study aimed to discuss mental health services for children and adolescents that are being implemented as initiatives of the Korean government and to review the functions and roles of these projects during the COVID-19 pandemic. Three government departments are in charge of providing mental health services for children and adolescents: Ministry of Education, Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, and Ministry of Health and Welfare. The Ministry of Education has implemented several policies to facilitate the early detection of mental health issues among school students (from preventive interventions to selective interventions for high-risk students). The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family additionally serves out-of-school children and adolescents by facilitating early identification of adolescents in crises and providing temporary protection or emergency assistance (as required) through the Community Youth Safety-Net Project. Furthermore, the Ministry of Health and Welfare operates relevant mental health agencies for individuals of all ages including children and adolescents. Any high-risk students who have been screened through the projects of the Ministry of Education are supported through referrals to the following institutions for appropriate treatment of their symptoms: specialized hospitals, the Youth Counseling and Welfare Center operated by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the National Youth Healing Center, the Mental Health Welfare Center operated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Suicide Prevention Center, and the Child Welfare Center. To assist students who are facing any psychological difficulties because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Education has established a psychiatric support group for providing emergency mental health care; furthermore, schools are promoting psychological surveillance (e.g., provision of non-face-to-face counseling services that are centered around the Wee Center). The Ministry of Education, Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, and Ministry of Health and Welfare have provided varied mental health support services in order to address the challenges faced by children and adolescents during the pandemic. Nevertheless, the mental health services operated by each ministry do show some limitations because their service provision system is insufficiently collaborative. The present study discussed the positive effects of each initiative as well as its limitations; furthermore, it suggested improvements for facilitating the healthy development of children and adolescents' mental health.

한 자녀를 둔 기혼여성의 둘째자녀 출산선호에 관한 연구 (The Second Childbirth Preference of Married Women with a Child)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how married women with a child perceived the low-fertility issue in order to increase the success of policy decisions for increasing the fertility rate and to present alternatives. The study subjects were 327 married women with a child who resided in Dongjak-gu, Seoul. After the survey was conducted, the collected data were analyzed with SPSS 11.5 program. The findings of the study were as follows. First, the married women who already had one child found it ideal to have two children. In fact, however, 36.4% had determined not to have another child, and only one parent wanted to have a second child in 26.9%. Second, they took a dismal view of the government's fertility encouragement policies, and they considered it necessary for the government to pursue a more down-to-earth measure. Third, economic aid for child rearing and education was identified as the most critical way to boost the childbirth rate. In conclusion, current national policies aimed at increasing the low-fertility rate are redundant if they are only designed to publicize government action. Actions need to be taken to assist married women in taking better advantage of the existing policies.

한부모가족의 특성에 따른 가족건강성 차이 (Differences in Family Strength Based on Characteristics of Single-Parent Families)

  • 이 연구는 한부모가족의 특성에 따른 가족건강성의 차이를 분석하였다. 가족의 건강성은 오래전부터 생활과학, 가정관리학, 가족자원경영학 등 학문 분야에서 연구해 온 주제이다. 2004년 건강가정기본법 제정을 계기로 가족의 건강성은 순수한 연구주제에 국한되지 않고 정책의 방향성으로 그리고 현장의 사업에 적용되면서 연구 범주가 확장되었고 이를 통해 연구의 실천성도 함께 강화되었다. 따라서 가족의 건강성 척도를 적용하여 실태조사를 할 때 건강성에 영향 미치는 변수를 탐색할 수 있고, 이 결과에 토대하여 가족건강성 향상을 위한 대안을 마련할 수 있다. 이 연구는 2021년도에 개발된 한부모가족 건강성 척도를 사용하여 267명의 한부모가족 여성(어머니)을 대상으로 한 실태조사 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 한부모가족 생활 기간, 동거가족 유무, 전배우자와 교류, 근로 형태, 가구소득에 따른 한부모가족의 생활 영역별 건강성의 차이를 발견하였다. 연구결과에 근거한 제안점은 다음과 같다. 한부모가족을 위한 정책 설계나 사업 기획에서 한부모가족으로 산 기간을 고려하고 한부모가족 대상 요구조사에 한부모로 산 기간을 포함해야 한다는 점이다. 이를 통해 한부모가족으로 산 기간에 따른 가족의 특성과 요구를 파악할 수 있고 이 자료는 한부모가족을 위한 맞춤형의 사업에 반영될 수 있다. 나아가 전일제로 일하고 있는 한부모가족의 경우 가정경영과 생활설계 영역에서의 가족건강성 증진을 위해 가족자원경영학이 전문성을 가진 시간관리, 생애설계 등의 연구결과를 현장의 사업으로 전환하여 실천성을 강화할 필요가 있다.
