한국과 일본병원의 미션선언문 비교연구 - 한국의 상급종합병원과 일본의 특정기능병원을 중심으로- (A study of Mission statements for strategic management - Focusing on the tertiary care hospitals in korea and special functioning hospitals in Japan-)

  • This study investigated contents of mission statements for Strategic Management of hospitals in Korea and Japan. For the study, 44 tertiary care hospitals in korea, which were accredited by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, were selected. And 83 special functioning hospitals in Japan, which were approved by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, were included. Both quantitative and qualitative analyses were conducted by classifying 5 components of the mission statement; market, service, philosophy, image, contribution. Findings from this study are as follow. First, hospitals in Korea emphasized image(93.2%) and philosophy(81.8%) components in their mission statements, whereas hospitals in Japan highlighted components of service(89.2%) and market(72.3%). In detail, mission statements of Korean tertiary care hospitals describe the components of hospital's image (93.2%), philosophy(81.8%), contribution(56.8%), market(22.7%) and service (18.2%) in order. On the other hand, mission statements of Japanese special functioning hospitals describe hospital's service(89.2%), market(72.3%), contribution(61.4%), image (49.4%) and philosophy(34.9%), respectively. Second, as results of Content analysis, there were some differences in mission statements of hospitals between two countries, and it is mainly from the divergences of standards for recognition of medical institutions, environmental factors, and different ways of mission statement description. For strategic hospital management, carrying out innovative restructuring organization or promoting of research and training for medical development is considered as a desirable approach. However, clear description of mission statement is more important and it is required for effective control and managing organization. And then the mission should be communicated within an organization so all internal members understand it and put their efforts to achieve the mission of organization. In conclusion, it is recommended that a leader and senior managers should re-evaluate its mission statement whether it reflects characteristics of an organization. In addition, a mission statement should be created or improved based on critical decision, as well as it should be clearly shared within an organization in order to become a future oriented organizations.

  • 의료민영화는 의료서비스의 질, 의료비의 억제 그리고 소득재분배 및 위험분산 등에 매우 중대한 영향을 미치게 될 것이다. 본 연구는 의료민영화에 대한 본질을 이해하지 못한 채 너무 많은 주장들이 난무한 상황을 개선하고자 실시되었다. 본 연구에서는 현재 논란이 되는 의료민영화에 대한 의미를 파악하고, 그에 따른 주장들을 다루고 있다. 의료민영화 정책에 대한 찬성 및 반대의 주장을 동시에 살펴봄으로서 객관적인 관점수립에 도움을 주고자 한다. 보건의료가 자본주의적 시장접근을 통하여 다각화 되고 산업의 일환으로 전환되어 신성장 동력으로 바라보아지는 과정이다. 그러나 보건의료서비스는 사람의 생명을 다루는 실천적 행위이기 때문에 보편적인 방법으로의 접근 및 성장에 제약이 따른다. 더불어 정부의 이익 또는 의료기관의 이익만을 위한 서비스에 해당하지 않는다. 올바른 의료민영화 정책의 수립을 통하여 공공서비스로 자리 잡은 우리나라 의료시스템의 변화방향을 제시하고 국민의 의료비 부담을 증가하지 않는 정책적 논의의 필요성을 제시한다.

중동 의약품시장 통상진출 전략에 대한연구: UAE 시장을 중심으로 (A Study on Trade Expansion Strategies to Middle East Pharmaceutical Market: Focused on the UAE Market)

  • 본 연구는 통상진출측면에서 UAE 의약품 시장의 점유율 확대 전략을 중심으로 시장세분화, 목표시장 결정, 제품 위치선정과 아울러 목표시장 내에서의 시장촉진 관리를 내용으로 문헌연구를 실시하였다. 기본적으로 STP전략과 Marketing Mix전략의 개념을 적용하여 본 연구의 실무적 시사점을 도출하였다. 우리나라 의약품산업은 국내의 다양한 제도적 제약으로 인한 국내시장 성장의 확대에 한계를 가지고 있다. 한편 UAE 의료산업은 지속적인 유가 상승에 따른 경기의 활성화와 정부의 적극적인 지원 정책으로 급성장하고 있다. UAE 정부는 의료시설 확충과 의료수준 향상을 위해 2014년 의료산업에 1600억 달러의 투자를 계획하고 있다. UAE의 의료부문은 각 에미리트별로 단독적인 규제 체제를 갖추고 있다. UAE는 해외 노동자 유입으로 높은 인구증가율을 보이고 있는데, 지난 30년 동안 UAE 거주인구는 약 7배가 증가했다. UAE 정부는 의료서비스 질을 개선하기 위해 민간부문과 공공기간의 파트너십(PPP) 체결을 장려하며 외국인 직접투자에도 규제가 없으므로 우리 기업으로서는 거대 다국적 기업과 무한 경쟁을 준비해야 하는 시점에서 이러한 분석결과는 의약품 수출활성화 측면의 환국의 비즈니스환경 분석과 UAE 시장에 대한 진출전략 측면에서 시사점을 도출하였다는 점에서 실학적 가치를 찾을 수 있다. 또한, 해외진출 활성화와 더불어 한국의 취약한 의약품 산업 개발을 위한 지속적인 전략 개발의 타당성을 확보해준다는 측면에서 학문적 의미가 있다.

전문 질환에 대한 전문병원의 권역내·외 시장점유율 비교 (Market share of specialty hospitals in the region and out of the region)

  • Purposes: The Specialty hospital designation policy had launched in 2011 and 110 designated specialty hospitals have been operating nationwide in 2022. This study was to estimate the market share of specialty hospitals for the specific diseases compared to other types of hospitals. Methodology: Data were derived from the National Health Insurance Claim data from 2018 to 2019. Subjects were all the inpatients with MDC(Major Disease Category) that specialty hospitals specialized in. A total of 34,231,387 claims were analyzed to estimate the market share. Findings: 90 specialty hospitals were responsible for 2.4 percent of inpatient care with specific diseases for specialty hospitals. There were regional variations in the market share of the specialty hospitals as the number of specialty hospitals in regions. Specialty hospitals' market shares were relatively high in burn(31.3%), ophthalmology(16.4%), obstetrics and gynecology(7.1%), alcohol(6.0%), joint(3.7%), spine(2.7%). After adjusting the number of inpatients per hospital, hospitals specialized in burn, alcohol, ophthalmology, breast, joint, obstetrics and gynecology, and hand replantation had treated more patients than tertiary hospitals. Practical Implications: Although specialty hospitals' market share was small, some types of specialty hospitals had an impact on the regional market as well as the national level market. To improve patients' accessibility to a specialty hospital, it is necessary to government supports non-specialized hospitals to change into specialty hospitals in certain fields and regions where the number of specialty hospitals is insufficient.

  • 초고령사회의 진입에 따라 시니어 헬스 케어를 위한 IT 기술과 보건 의료 산업의 융합형 스마트 헬스 케어가 고령화 시대 독거노인 문제의 해결책으로 급부상 중이다. AI를 활용한 비대면 돌봄 서비스의 발전은 일부 국가가 아닌 세계적 경향으로 AI 인공지능 기술을 이용한 노인 돌봄 서비스의 형태는 급격히 변화하고 있다. 국내 역시 초고령화 사회의 진입을 앞두고 있으며 1인 가구가 증가함으로 인해 독거노인 돌봄과 관련하여 노인 복지 인력 부족 문제가 사회 이슈로 대두되고 있다. IT 기술을 이용한 노인 돌봄 서비스는 편리하다는 장점뿐만 아니라 노인 돌봄 노동자의 인력난 등의 장기적인 사회적 문제점을 해소해 줄 비전으로 제시된다. 따라서 고령층을 위한 노인 돌봄 서비스의 사례 연구와 초고령화 시대의 대책으로써 노인 돌봄 서비스의 발전 방향이 제안하고자 한다.

Selection Factors for Distribution Partners for the Market Entry in Southeast Asia

  • Purpose - This study analyzed the success strategy of Korean small & medium cosmetics exporting companies to enter the Southeast Asian market. Research design, data, and methodology - The independent factors are classified into firm capacity, financial factor, institutional factor, and operational factor. The results of the selection of distributor partners of cosmetics related export companies as a were classified as financial performance and non - financial performance. In order to analyze this, 65 Korean small and medium export companies were recruited through structured online questionnaire for 44 days from September 18, 2017 to October 31, 2017. These data were analyzed by frequency analysis, correlation analysis, factor analysis and regression analysis using SPSS. Results - The Cronbach's alpha coefficient was found to be 0.846. Factor analysis between variables revealed that the eigen value exceeded 1 and was considered valid. As a result of the correlation analysis between the variables, the financial factor and the corporate's competence showed the highest correlation with 0.774. Conclusions - Among the factors influencing the financial performance of the exporting firms, the factors influencing the financial performance of the exporting companies are the factors that influence the non - financial performance rather than the financial performance.

보건의료산업 글로벌화 정책의 성과 및 향후 과제 (Achievement and Future Tasks of Healthcare Industry Globalization Policies)

  • In 1994 Korea government began to develop the healthcare industry, since then the government has tried to create opportunities to promote the industry through various political efforts and policies. The biggest achievement was attracting foreign patients from 2009 to 2016 with a cumulative 1.56 million and total revenue of 3 trillion won. But Korea still loses the opportunity to become a global leader in the health care industry due to regulations and various ideological disputes. Accordingly, it is necessary to facilitate policy understanding and present a practical road map so that Korea's healthcare industry become a new growth engine that will lead the trend of global market in the future. It also suggests a national economic development paradigm, the health economy as health and economic value are rotated through a shift in view of health care. At this point, 20 years after the beginning of the healthcare industry development, it is necessary to evaluate the related policies and discuss effective future directions. In this sense, the purpose of this study is to examine the policies and limitations of the healthcare industry by each government division, and based on it, to propose political tasks for the future.

Research on the Senior Food Industry and Revitalization: focusing on HMR products

  • As the elderly population is rapidly increasing not only domestically but also globally, convenience foods for the elderly population are receiving attention. Therefore, the senior food market continues to grow rapidly both domestically and overseas. In relation to this, this study seeks to explore convenience food preferences through the growth status of the convenience food market and the demand for convenience food among the elderly population. We would like to consider various factors that influence the increase in convenience food consumption among the elderly population. This study uses meta-analysis and systematic literature research to find ways to revitalize the convenience food market targeting the elderly population. As a result of the analysis, it was mentioned that in order to revitalize the convenience food market for the elderly population, it is important to develop products with high nutritional value, suitable for the physical characteristics of the elderly population, and low price, and to consider convenience and accessibility. Through a multifaceted approach, we aim to increase the need for convenient food products that meet the needs of the elderly population, contribute to improving the health and well-being of the elderly, and further efficiently manage the health of the elderly nationally and globally.

  • Determining of Strategic Business Units in the organization is a major critical process for improving the organizational performance. On increasing the demands for extension in function of health center, many health centers are trying to provide the various services. But most health center determined the kind and level of service without scientific considerations. The purposes of this study are to develope the model for determination of strategic business units in health center and to test the availability of implementation for it. Our model is rooted from the McKinsey matrix analysis of Product Portfolio Analysis which used widely in marketing field. We modified the evaluation criteria of the McKinsey matrix analysis for health care field appropriately. Our evaluation criteria are categorized into two concepts; contribution of service, availability of service. At first, in terms of contribution of service, market size, market growth rate, needs and demands of regional people, existences of alternative services in that region, correspondence with health policy. The other component, availability of service are included the availability of manpower, financial availability, the level of knowhow on service, acceptance of health care manpower. In the result of analysis, we could conclude that antismoking and antialcoholics education programs, health screening program are important strategically in that aspects of contributions and availability of services. Also, vaccination program is important in that aspect of service availability and diet and exercise program, health library are meaningful in the aspect of service contribution. Therefore, we think that efforts to investigate the evaluation criteria for priority setting or determination of service area in health center are useful challenges.

  • 피부는 인체의 외부를 덮고 있는 기관일 뿐 아니라, 체온을 조절하고, 감각기능을 수행하며, 약물을 투입하는 경로가 되기도 하고 내부 기관의 이상을 표현하는 기관이 되기도 한다. 이러한 이유로 인해, 사람들은 타인의 얼굴 피부의 상태를 보고 건강의 이상 징후를 감지하거나, "안색이 좋다", "생기가 있다" 등으로 신체의 컨디션을 표현해왔다. 환경과 노화정도에 따라서 피부색, 피부결, 수분, 탄력 등이 달라지는 것도 알려진 사실이다. 특히, 피부색은 아름다움, 매력도와 같은 주관적인 인상을 판단하는데 영향을 미치는 인자로 작용하는데, 화장품이나 피부시술을 통해 피부색을 개선하고자 하는 소비자를 통해서 그 수요를 짐작할 수 있다. 하지만 피부색이 여러 색의 구성임에도 불구하고, 대부분의 화장품이 하얀 피부로 개선해주는 것에 초점을 맞추고 있으며 여성들이 선호하는 피부색에 대한 연구가 아직까지는 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 30 ~ 40대의 한국여성을 대상으로 같은 피부 밝기에서 붉은 정도와 푸른 정도가 달리 주어진 선호도 조사를 통해 긍정적으로 인식하는 피부색의 상태를 발견하였다. 한국여성은 실제 평균 피부색에 비해 붉은색과 푸른색이 높은 피부를 선호하는 것으로 나타났으며, 피부에 대한 표현을 달리하였을 때에도 경향은 유사하였다. 본 연구 결과는 새로운 소비자의 요구를 만족시키는 제품 개발에 활용될 수 있을 것이라고 생각한다.
