  • The purpose of this study is to measure and compare the output power characteristics and optical gain for selenium vapour laser depending on the He gas purity. The purity of the He gas was improved with a special He-filter. During the measurement the individual wavelengths were selected with a birefringent filter. The result shows that compared with those of laser without He-filter, the output-coupling power and small signal gain of laser with He-filter increase in the most of the lines. Especially, the output-coupling power and small signal gain for the strong lines (497.6 nm, 499.3 nm, 506.9 nm, 517.6 nm, 522.8 nm, 530.5 nm), blue(460.4 nm, 464.8 nm) and red(644.4 nm 649.1 nm) lines lies notably higher.

  • The paper presents the effects of output-coupling power and small signal gain of selenium vapour multiline laser by discharge of either to $^4$He or $^3$He. The purity of the He gas was improved with a special He-fille.. The result shows that compared with those of $^4$He, the output-coupling power and small-signal gain of $^3$He increase in the most of the lines. Especially, the small-signal gain of $^3$He for the strong lines (497.6 nm, 499.3 nm, 506.9 nm, 517.6 nm, 522.8 nm, 530.5 nm) lies about 30% higher than that of $^4$He, and the output-coupling power from doubles to triples.

  • The ceramic filters were developed using technology similar to that of quartz crystal and electro- mechanical filter. However, the key to this development involved the theoretical analysis of vibration modes and material improvements of piezoelectric ceramics. The primary application of ceramic filters has been for consumer-market use. Accordingly, a major emphasis has involved mass production technology, leading to low-priced devices. A typical ceramic filter includes monolithic resonators and capacitors packaged in unique configurations. Nakazawa developed a double-mode resonator as two acoustically coupled single resonators. And he developed 10.7MHz crystal filters using multi-energy trapping mode of thickness shear vibration. He succeeded in realizing a two-pole band pass filter response without external inductance by splitting a dot electrode to creak coupled symmetric and anti- symmetric vibration modes. Accordingly, the simulation for ceramic (inter were important. So that, this paper were investigated the pass frequency of filter on the electrode length and thickness of ceramic.

  • Presented are closed-form expressions of the three-state exponentially correlated acceleration (ECA) target-tracking filter. The steady-state solution is derived based on Vaughan's approach for the case that he measurements of target position and velocity are available at discrete point in time. The solution for ECA tracking filter using only position measurements and the solution for the constant acceleration (CA) tracking filter are obtained as a special case of the presented results.

Interference Rejection using the Data-Recycling Algorithm in DS Spread-Spectrum Communications

  • In this paper, a new interference rejection filter using the data-recycling technique is presented. The reference signal of the interference rejection filter is formed by using chip decisions, which is correlated with the narrowband interference components of the received signal. The decision feedback techniques reduce the distortion of the desired signal, which is introduced by the interference rejection filter through he use of feedback chip decisions. In order to update the filter coefficients a simple and efficient data-recycling technique that has improved performance over the conventional LMS algorithm is used. The performance of the proposed interference rejection filter is compared to filter with conventional LMS linear filter. The results show that the convergence speed of the proposed interference rejection filter using decision feedback and data-recycling technique is significantly faster than that of the conventional filters. Also, BER performance of the interference rejection filter demonstrates the superiority of the proposed filter algorithm.

  • 최근 유럽에서 DVB-T HDTV 방송 표준이 정하지면서 오디오 포맷으로 HE-AAC가 채택되었다. HE-AAC는 압축효율은 높지만 연산량이 높아 낮은 성능의 DSP에서 수행하기에는 어려움이 있다. DVB-T에서는 5.1채널을 사용하고 있어 더욱더 많은 연산을 필요로 한다. 본 논문은 ISO/DEC 14496-3 MPEG4 HE(High Efficiency)-AAC의 Level4에 해당하는 Multichannel Decoder를 최적화하여 구현하고. 가장 많은 연산을 필요로 하는 Synthesis Filter Bank에 제안된 알고리즘을 적용하여 연산량을 줄였고 대부분의 연산부를 어셈블리로 코드 최적화를 하여 작은 성능의 DSP를 사용하여 실시간 Multichannel HE-AAC Audio Decoder의 구현이 가능하게 하였다. DVB-T 오디오 시스템에 필수로 필요한 Audio Description, Dynamic Range Control, Downmix 등을 함께 구현하여 실제 수신기에 사용이 가능하도록 하였다. DSP는 Samsung의 CalmRISC16 + MAC24 core 를 사용하였다.

Filter Design Method for an Inverter System (인버터 시스템을 위한 필터설계 방법)

  • This paper presents a design method for a filter application in a parts-of FA(Factory Automation). Normal equations for ripple voltage and current are derived in terms of dimensionless quantities, and these equations can be used directly to evaluate the values of LC-filter components, taking into consideration the effect of the ripple components on the rms value of the PWM-generated ripple components. Using describing function technique, design equations of the filter are derived. The data needed for the filter evaluation are the amplitude of current ripple and the frequency of square pulses delivered by the HE(Harmonic Elimination) inverter algorithm. Experimental results show that the design of the filter can be based on the method proposed and that the filter can provide a significant reduction of ripple components.

  • We present a practical method for removing biotches and restoring their mission data. To detect blotches, we employ a robust approach of local analysis of spatiotemporal anisotropic brightness continuity Our approach uses first-order spatiotemporal directional derivatives to select the smoothest direction for each examined pixel, and puts out the incorruption probability that he examined pixel may not be corrupted by blotches. As the restoration filter, were employ a spatiotemporal fuzzy filter whose response is adaptively controlled according to a fuzzy rule defined by the incorruption probability. The fuzzy filter is composed of the two different filter of the identity filter and the spatiotemporal directional-weighted-mean filter, and will put out an intermediate value between the original input brightness and the directional-weighted-mean brightness. We design the fuzzy rule in advance by a standard supervised learning fuzzy rule in advance by a standard supervised learning method. The computer simulations are presented.
