반송파 기반 센서리스 운전에서 주입하는 신호의 주파수에 따른 위치 추정 성능 분석 (Analysis on Position Estimation Performance according to Injection Frequency in Carrier-Based Sensorless Operation)

  • This work puts forward a theoretical analysis on position estimation performance of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) according to the injection frequency in carrier-based sensorless operation. The effects of spatial harmonics on inductance and voltage distortion due to the nonideal characteristics of IPMSM and inverter are examined as factors influencing the position estimation performance. Furthermore, the position estimation performance is analyzed by calculating the current at the switching instant in several operating conditions. In summary, the half switching frequency injection is more robust to the nonideal characteristics of IPMSM, especially with light load condition. The validity of the analysis is verified by the simulation and experimental results.

  • The aim of this study is to design a passive filter for the elimination of harmonics. For this design, the harmonics wave generating from the six pulse rectifier was measured and its characteristics were analyzed. We also calculated the quantity of harmonic current by changing the system operational conditions. According to this field data and calculated results. we determined the elements of the passive filter. The simulation results indicate the efficiency of designed passive filter.

  • In this paper, Uninterruptible Power Supply(UPS) Inverter system using Carrier Frequency Modulated PWM (CFM-PWM) is proposed to reduced harmonics and electromagnetic noise. Power conversion of UPS system is executed by the ON-OFF operation of semiconductor switching devices. However, this switching operation causes the surge and EMI which deteriorate the reliability of the UPS system. This Problems improved by Random PWM switching method. The simulation results of the proposed system was compared with the system using conventional method using Matlab/Simulink. The results show that the output voltage and current harmonics of the proposed UPS system significantly decreased and spread into wide band area by the proposed Carrier Frequency Modulated PWM(CFM-PWM) method based on the Space Vector Modulation.

  • An advanced active power filter for the compensation of instantaneous harmonic current components in nonlinear current load is presented in this paper. A novel signal processing technique using an adaptive neural network algorithm is applied for the detection of harmonic components generated by three-phase nonlinear current loads and this method can efficiently determine the instantaneous harmonic components in real time. The control strategy of the switching signals to compensate current harmonics of the three-phase inverter is also discussed and its switching signals are generated with the space voltage vector modulation scheme. The validity of this active filtering processing system to compensate current harmonics is substantiated on the basis of simulation results.

Novel Control Strategy for a UPQC under Distorted Source and Nonlinear Load Conditions

  • This paper proposes a novel control strategy for a unified power quality conditioner (UPQC) including a series and a shunt active power filter (APF) to compensate the harmonics in both the distorted supply voltage and the nonlinear load current. In the series APF control scheme, a proportional-integral (PI) controller and a resonant controller tuned at six multiples of the fundamental frequency of the network ($6{\omega}_s$) are performed to compensate the harmonics in the distorted source. Meanwhile, a PI controller and three resonant controllers tuned at $6n{\omega}_s$(n=1, 2, 3) are designed in the shunt APF control scheme to mitigate the harmonic currents produced by nonlinear loads. The performance of the proposed UPQC is significantly improved when compared to that of the conventional control strategy thanks to the effective design of the resonant controllers. The feasibility of the proposed UPQC control scheme is validated through simulation and experimental results.

  • Frequency is regarded as one of most important indices for the operating power systems. Several digital techniques for measuring frequency have been presented in the last decades. This paper proposes a design and implementation an adaptive scheme using phase angle difference calculation fort frequency measuring in power system. The advantages of the proposed technique are demonstrated by fault signals from EMTP simulation and user defined arbitrary signals by Excel program. The proposed technique is compared with the conventional methods. Performance teat results indicate that the proposed technique provides accurate measures in pretence of noise and harmonics and in case faults and is suitable for measurement near-nominal, nominal. and off-nominal frequencies. We can see that It will be useful in microprocessor based relays and digital metiers that need to measure power system frequency.

  • To reduce harmonics in the AC line and achieve a unit power factor, A 4 paralled single phase PWM AC/DC converter has been proposed. In this paper, the coupling components are derived analytically from PWM converter input transformer model and control scheme to solve this problem is proposed. Unit power factor was obtained and the AC-side current harmonics were reduced. Simulation results show the usefulness of the proposed method and applicability to PWM converter in auxiliary block of high speed train.

  • This paper performs two kinds of Field-Oriented Control (FOC) for dual three phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (DTP-PMSM).The first is based on vector space decomposition to study the effect of current harmonics on electromechanical energy conversion. And the second presents the coupling relations between two sets of windings using two d-q transformation. And then this paper has deeply studied the differences between these two strategies, the different effect on the control of harmonic current and the reason for these differences. MATLAB-based Simulation studies of a 3KW DTP-PMSM are carried out to verify the analysis of differences between the two FOC strategies.

  • 본 연구에서는 실제 운용중인 대규모의 산업용 수변전 계통에서의 고조파 특성을 PTW(Power Tools for Windows)를 이용하여 분석하는 기법을 제시하였다. 고조파 조류계산을 통해 계통내의 각 모선, 단자에서의 전압과 전류의 고조파 왜형률에 대한 정확한 진단과 커패시터 뱅크와 필터와의 효용성을 비교분석 하였다. 또한 필터의 용량에 따른 선로의 용량성에 따른 과도 고조파 특성과 부하변동과 같은 시스템 변화에 의한 전압, 전류의 고조파 왜형율 등을 해석하였다. 이러한 분석기법은 산업용 수변전 계통의 전력품질에 대한 상세한 분석이 가능함을 보였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 대체에너지 발전 시스템을 위한 새로운 자연전류형 SCR 인버터를 제안한다. 제안한 인버터 시스템은 6-펄스 SCR 인버터와 보조회로로 구성된다. 보조회로의 동작으로 인버터 시스템의 펄스 수가 증가하여 출력 전압 및 출력전류의 고조파가 현저히 저감된다. 제안한 방식의 24-펄스 동작을 위한 분석, 제어 및 시물레이션이 제시되고 실험을 통하여 제안한 이론을 입증한다.
