  • 폐활량계(Spirometer)는 호흡하는 가스의 용적 유량의 순간적인 속도를 측정하는 의료기구로 폐의 기능시험과 환자 모니터링에 사용되며 용적 유량 신호를 합친 폐의 절대적인 용적변화를 측정한다. 본 논문에서는 환자를 대상으로 약한 호흡에서도 폐활량 측정이 가능 하도록, 관성의 오차 및 압력의 오차에 영향을 거의 받지 않는 초음파 센서를 이용하여 송수신시 초음파 신호를 향상시켰으며, 임베디스 하드웨어 시스템을 사용하여 약한 호흡에도 정확하고 빠른 검출이 가능한 시스템을 구현하였다.

  • Recently, as the road capacity reaches the limit and environmental problems becomes serious, there is gradually increased a need for railroad vehicles that are environment-friendly and have time regularity, reliability and safety. Accordingly, in addition to conventional railroad vehicles, lots of vehicles are being newly developed. We developed the hardware and software of the measurement system for on-line test and evaluation of korean hish speed train. The software controls the hardware of the measurement data and acts as interface between users and the system hardware. In this paper, we is studied for electric apparatus performance of railway vehicle using sensor. In order to this test is developed signal conversion system. Using this system, we obtained important result for pantograph voltage, battery voltage, axle speed, and running speed.

효율적 Cyclinc Extension을 갖는 Zipperqkdtlr의 VDSL 모뎀 (A Zipper-based VDSL Modem with an Efficient Cyclic Extension)

  • In this paper we propose an efficient implementation technique for cyclic extension in VDSL(Very High bit-rate Digital Subscriber Line) systems using Zipper duplexing and analyze its performances under typical telephone channel environments. In Zipper-based VDSL systems each DTM(discrete-multitone) block is appended by both cyclic prefix(CP) and cyclic suffix(CS). The CP is inserte to prevent both intersymbol interference (ISI) and iterchannel interference (ICI) while the CS is appended to ensure orthogonality between the upstream and downstream carriers thus preventing near-end crosstalk (NEXT). However in order to implement the CP in the transmitter side of the VDSL system an additional hardware is required to append the latter part of each DMT symbol to the beginning of the DMT symbol. In this paper we propose a VDSL system with Zipper duplexing using only CS to reduce hardware complexity (memory and processing delay) required for implementation of CP. It is shown by computer simulation that the proposed approach has the same capacity under typical channel environments as the previous Zipper-based VDSL system using both CP and CS. even with a significantly lower hardware complexity.

In this paper, practical experiment are performed to verify mechanical performance of motor and main transformer for Korean high speed rail. The experimental test carried out by using new temperature measurement method and verify the temperature performance of motor and transformer is verified.

  • Photonic switching systems with throughput above Tbit/s are reuried to transport vast amounts of information for the coming B-ISDN. In this paper, we proposed a new time-division hybrid WDM photonic swithc architecture, the proposed basic switch module has simple configuratin consisted of frequency routers for wavelength division and cell coders and star couplers for time division. Through the comparison with other sysems in field of switching capacity, hardware complexity and cost effect of implemetnation, we proved that the proposed system is suitable for large-capacity photonic switching system.

  • In order to design capacity of lithium ion battery, some calculations were carried out based on the characteristics of materials by the given battery shape and dimension. The principle of design was built by the interpretation of the correlation of material, electrochemical and battery factors. Parameters of materials are fundamental physical properties of constituent such as cathode. separator, anode, current collectors and electrolyte. Electrochemical factor includes potential pattern as a function of specific capacity, specific discharge capacity(or initial irreversible specific capacity or Ah efficiency) as a function of specific charge capacity and material balancing. Parameters of battery are dimension, construction hardware and performance. Battery capacity was simulated for a lithium cobalt dioxide as cathode and a hard carbon as anode to achieve 1100 mAh for the charge limit voltage of 4.2V, the weight ratio(+/-) of 2.4 and ICR18650. A fabricated test cell (ICR18650) which have weight ratio(+/-) of 2.4 discharged to 1093 mAh for the charge limit voltage of 4.2V. The sequential discharge capacity show good correspondence with designed capacity.

  • 본 연구에서는 창호철물 공사의 하자발생 원인을 제도(System), 설계, 시공 3가지 측면에서 제도 미비(공사시방서 작성능력 부족등), 창호철물의 중요성에 대한 사회적 인식부족, 설계도면 작성 기술력 부족, 설계비 저가등 7가지를 도출하였다. 도출된 7가지 원인 중 창호철물 공사의 하자 발생에 높은 영향을 미치는 원인은 제도 미비(공사시방서 작성능력 부족), 설계도면 작성 기술력 부족이 각각 1순위, 2순위로 나타났다. 또한 이러한 하자발생 원인이 실제 프로젝트에서 건축사사무소와 시공사의 규모에 따라 어떻게 분포하는지와 시공품질에 미치는 영향을 분석 제시함으로써 향후 창호철물공사 하자방지 방안 마련을 위한 기초 연구를 수행하였다.

  • 설계자의 경험에만 의존한 시스템 아키텍처 설계는 설계자 개인의 경험, 지식 수준에 따라 품질수준에 많은 차이를 발생시키고 잘못된 예측에 근거한 하드웨어 용량 산정은 자원의 낭비를 유발한다. 실제 업무 현장에서는 다양한 사후 모니터링 Tool들이 운영되고 있지만, 아키텍처 설계 시에 성능을 예측하여 반영할 수 있다면 최소한의 비용으로 시스템의 성능 요구사항을 만족시킬 수 있고 자원의 낭비를 크게 줄일 수 있다. 이를 위해 하드웨어 아키텍처 설계를 위한 시뮬레이션 모델을 우선 파이롯 형태로 개발하고 실험을 통하여 타당성을 검증하고자 한다. 실험의 결과 오차율이 허용범위 이내에서 발생되면 시뮬레이션 모델이 현실 세계의 정보시스템 아키텍처 특성을 잘 반영하고 있다고 할 수 있다.

  • Lithium-ion batteries have a small volume, light weight and high energy density, maximizing the utilization of mobile devices. It is widely used for various purposes such as electric bicycles and scooters (e-Mobility), mass energy storage (ESS), and electric and hybrid vehicles. To date, lithium-ion batteries have grown to focus on increasing energy density and reducing production costs in line with the required capacity. However, the research and development level of lithium-ion batteries seems to have reached the limit in terms of energy density. In addition, the charging time is an important factor for using lithium-ion batteries. Therefore, it was urgent to develop a high-speed charger to shorten the charging time. In this thesis, a discharger was fabricated to evaluate the capacity and characteristics of Li-ion battery pack which can be used for e-mobility. To achieve this, a smart discharger is designed with a combination of active load, current sensor, and temperature sensor. To carry out this thesis, an active load switching using sensor control circuit, signal processing circuit, and FET was designed and manufactured as hardware with the characteristics of active discharger. And as software for controlling the hardware of the active discharger, a Raspberry Pi control device and a touch screen program were designed. The developed discharger is designed to change the 600W capacity battery in the form of active load.

Dynamic Thermal Rating of Overhead Transmission Lines Based on GRAPES Numerical Weather Forecast

  • Dynamic thermal rating technology can effectively improve the thermal load capacity of transmission lines. However, its availability is limited by the quantity and high cost of the hardware facilities. This paper proposes a new dynamic thermal rating technology based on global/regional assimilation and prediction system (GRAPES) and geographic information system (GIS). The paper will also explore the method of obtaining any point meteorological data along the transmission line by using GRAPES and GIS, and provide the strategy of extracting and decoding meteorological data. In this paper, the accuracy of numerical weather prediction was verified from the perspective of time and space. Also, the 750-kV transmission line in Shaanxi Province is considered as an example to analyze. The results of the study indicate that dynamic thermal rating based on GRAPES and GIS can fully excavate the line power potential without additional cost on hardware, which saves a lot of investment.
