BIM에 기반한 한국전통건축 원형의 곡형부재 응용 (BIM Based Extension of Curved Member Prototypes in Korean Traditional Buildings)

  • This paper starts with an approach to Korean traditional building design using BIM tool as a design methodology where Korean traditional buildings show some difference rather as weaknesses in handling curves and curved members and the construction. BIM design tools, that are adequate in treating modern architectural design vocabularies, show some disadvantages not having necessary elements and components as building libraries. In this paper we build our own libraries adequate to the proper assembling way of Korean traditional buildings. In contrast to the diverse use of straight building members, Korean traditional buildings show rare use of curves and/or curved members in their assemblage. Moreover, in the case of a circular plan, mostly a circle is interpreted in terms of polygons such as square, hexagon or octagon. In this paper, we examine Gwanram-Jung in Changduk Palace, which is probably the only example in Korea showing a use of curves and/or curved members in assemblage. We try to interpret the case as an incomplete prototype and apply in a modern way to complete a circular plan in terms of circular arcade.

1960년대 초 서울 신흥 주거지의 단독주택 세 유형 비교 (A Comparison of Urban Detached Houses in Seoul's New Housing Quarters in the Early 1960s)

  • This study explores the typology of the urban detached houses in the new housing quarters that were created in the process of Seoul's urbanization in the aftermath of the Korean War. It analyzes and compares the urban tissue and space allocation set when the new urban residential areas were organized according to different methods of production. Based on the comparative analysis of housing built in the same time of 1960s, this study aims to deduce why a specific urban detached housing type was selected as an influential housing prototype and how this spread in later generations. Case study sites selected for this study include: the new Urban Hanok towns of Yongdu-dong, filled with mass Urban Hanoks built by housing developers; the single-family detached housing district of Myunmok-dong, filled with individual dwellings built by private builders; and the housing complex of detached houses in Suyu-dong, developed by government-sponsorship during the early 1960s. Each case examines the following: first, the difference in housing typology allocation according to urban tissue; second, the difference in spatial composition and arrangement within plots. As a result, it was found that differences in typology occur depending on which of the social, cultural, economic and technical factors was preferentially considered in forming urban tissue and allocating buildings in each residential area.

종가의 음식관광자원 가능성 연구 - 인제종가 팸투어 참가자 대상으로 - (A Study on Feasibility as Food Tourism Resources of Head Families (Jong Ga) - With a Inje Jong Ga Familiarization Tour Participants -)

  • The purpose of this research was to reveal how Jong Ga and its cuisine is perceived by Koreans and foreign tourists and to develop Jong Ga culinary culture for culinary tourism. The Inje Jong Ga was chosen since it is located in Jeonju, Hanok Village, which is a destination for tourists and gourmet enthusiasts. In-depth personal interviews were performed with Koreans and with foreign tourists who were visiting Korea. Interviews were done to provide deeper insight into the comments and subject matters. Most tourists selected "having one table setting for each (Doksang)" as the most distinctive part of Jong Ga and its cuisine. To develop the experience at a Jong Ga as a culinary destination, questionnaires were created to study six areas: preferences on length of stay, price range, food serving style, things to be improved, expectations by as a tourist at a Jong Ga, and the role of the food guide. Perceptions toward Jong Ga and its cuisine were generally positive, but the quality of service and lack of organization in establishments were perceived to be the negative factors.

  • 본 연구는 한옥의 내부기류 분석을 통한 자료를 근거로 열손실이 가장 크게 나타나는 창호에 대해 기존 창호의 아름다음을 훼손하지 않으면서도 대류에 의한 열손실을 최소화 할 수 있는 방안을 제안한다. 이를 위해서 한옥 창호 격자문의 구조에 대한 기하학적 최적화 작업을 통해 동절기의 열손실을 최소화하기 위한 격자문 구조를 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 즉, 실외를 향한 창호 격자 구조를 대류 열전달의 손실을 최소화하기 위한 구조로, 동절기의 외부 냉기를 효과적으로 차단하기 위한 창호의 배열을 정의한다. 전산해석을 통해 창호 격자의 종횡비, 창호 격자 틀 돌출 길이의 격자 면적 비 등, 외부로의 열 손실을 최소화할 수 있는 구체적인 구조를 제안하고 이에 대한 타당성을 검증한다.

친환경 전통건축의 내부기류 전산해석 (Computational Analysis of Air Flows Inside Korean Traditional House)

  • 본 연구는 한옥의 실내 온도 및 속도 분포 등에 대한 과학적 분석을 통해서 전통건축이 현대적 건축 부재의 채용 없이 전통적 건축 부재의 조화로운 배치 및 부재 간의 조합을 통해서 소기의 열 공학적 설계를 충실히 수행할 수 있는가를 확인하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해, 한옥의 내부 기류의 분포 및 온도 분포, 그리고 한옥의 외부형상에 대한 기류분포를 전산 모사하여 한옥의 형태별, 계절별, 주요 기류 및 온도 특성을 제공하는데 있다. 전통 건축물의 주요부재에 관한 열역학적 물성치를 대표 값으로 설정하고 물성치의 변화를 실험 결과를 활용하여 보정하고 한옥 내부의 유동장과 온도분포를 예측하여 그 결과를 제시한다.

  • The aim of this study is how to understand of structural and elemental landscape image in suburban village. Nowadays, it is well known fact that suburban villages are most likely to be invaded by urbanization. Therefore, the research is focused on how the image of suburb has been changed, what patterns have been created in residential area, what are the different outcomes from different distance, and what are the changes in types of buildings, at particular village called Doojeong in Pyeongtaek city. When collecting supplemental information, elders in village have been participated in comparison of traditional and foreign. The village shows significant characteristics of such phenomenon. According to the research, there are three results. First, ironically, the structural patterns of the village is concentric as seen on urban garden, yet they do not have central function. Second, traditional homes are transformed into functional shape. The most popular roof design that takes 65 percent of whole is modernized flat roof shape. Hanok (Korean traditional house) style is disappearing. Third, due to the massive barn buildings and their monochrome, the beauty of community and architectural harmony are buried.

모바일 관광을 위한 위치 기반 서비스 기술 (Technology of Location-Based Service for Mobile Tourism)

  • 본 연구에서는 모바일 단말기를 이용하여 여행자에게 효과적인 관광 서비스를 제공하기 위한 위치 기반 서비스 알고리듬을 개발하여 전주시 한옥마을에 적용하였다. 먼저, 단일노선에서는 GPS 오차범위와 보행속도, 그리고 다중노선에서는 GPS 위치와 노선에 대한 최근린 기법을 조합한 알고리듬을 이용하여 위치 서비스를 개선하였다. 또한 본 연구에서는 노선의 Node와 Link의 위상관계를 자동으로 구축하기 위해 DuraMap-Xr 공간엔진을 이용한 프로그램을 개발하였으며, Blackpoint-Xr 모바일 앱 엔진을 기반으로 단일과 다중 노선상에서의 위치 서비스 기술을 구현함으로서 여행 편의성을 향상 시킬 수 있는 기반을 마련하였다.

떡 카페 메뉴의 푸드스타일링 시각적 요소가 소비자 구매에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Food Styling Visual Elements in Tteok Café Menus on Consumer Buying Habits)

  • This study investigated the correlation between consumer's buying habits and food styling visual elements. Differentiated and original techniques were used to determine whether or not visual elements in tteok menus reflect the aesthetic needs of consumers without altering the nutrition of tteok. The targeted tteok cafes were in Jeonju Hanok Village, which is a tourist attraction in Korea. First, sub-factors of food styling visual elements applied to tteok $caf{\acute{e}}$ menus such as shape, size/volume, color, and texture all had significantly positive effects on customer satisfaction, proving that food styling visual effects applied to tteok $caf{\acute{e}}$ menus have significant effects on customer satisfaction. Second, sub-factors of food styling visual elements applied to tteok $caf{\acute{e}}$ menus all had significantly positive effects on buying habits. Third, customer satisfaction of menus had a significant effect on buying habits, as proven by previous studies. Fourth, the effects of customer satisfaction on the relationship between food styling visual factors applied to tteok $caf{\acute{e}}$ menus and buying habits were investigated.

소나무재의 단면치수에 따른 수축률 특성 (Effect of Cross-Sectional Dimension on the Shrinkage Property of Korean Red-Pine Wood)

  • 우리나라에서 전통주택(한옥) 및 목조건축 문화재의 구조부재로 많이 이용되는 소나무는 천연건조가 일반적이어서 건조에 많은 시간이 소요되고 건조가 불충분하면 수축에 의한 갈라짐 및 변형 등의 결함을 일으킬 수 있다. 소나무 소시험편과 대단면 시험편을 제작하여 함수율상태에 따른 수축률변화를 검토하였다. 특정 함수율 상태에서의 체적수축률을 예측할 경우, 생재상태에서 기건상태, 기건상태에서 전건상태까지의 구간으로 나누어 적용하는 것이 정밀도가 높았다. 변재의 체적수축률은 단면크기에는 상관성이 없으며, 심재는 단면이 커질수록 체적수축률이 감소하는 것으로 나타났다.

전통온돌난방의 실내 온열환경 쾌적감 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Indoor Thermal Comfort of the House with Ondol Heating System of Korean Traditional Housing)

  • The principle of Korean Traditional Housing was to be harmonized with the nature with shapes according to regional climate and materials easily available from the region. These environmentally friendly characteristics protected indoor environment from climate changes. The characteristics of Korean traditional housing to control indoor environment would be very useful for contemporary housing in that current issues, improving housing amenity and wellbeing, had basic goals same with what Korean Traditional Housing had. Though it could be found characteristics of indoor thermal environment heated by Ondol Heating System, analyses of evaluation made by occupants of the rooms were insufficient because most of the studies had been focused on the measurement of indoor thermal factors. Thus, with an evaluation of occupants for the indoor thermal comfort and an estimation of discomfort derived from the result of vertical temperature distribution, it was studied whether the agreeable indoor range of rooms, of which was Jeonju Hanok Living Experience Center, heated by Ondol Heating System corresponded to the agreeable indoor range presented in references.
