A female, nine-month-old Rottweiler was presented with bilateral hind limbs lameness. Physical examination, survey radiography, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) were performed. Oblique fracture of L6 vertebral body and abnormal alignment was observed in survey radiographs, CT, and MRI. No significant lesion was found in the intervertebral disc adjacent to fracture site. The patient was applied by bandage and medical management including corticosteroid administration was performed. The patient was able to walk after 4 weeks and prognosis was good.

In this paper, we present performance comparison of two methods to localize multiple robots. One is extended Kalman filter and the other is constraint propagation technique. Extended Kalman filter is conventional probabilistic method which gives the sub-optimal estimation rather than guarantee any boundary for true position of robot. In case of constraint propagation, it can give a boundary containing true robot position value. Especially, we deal with cooperative localization problem in outdoor environment for multiple robots equipped with GPS, gyro meter, wheel encoder. In simulation results, we present strength and weakness for localization methods based on extend Kalman filter and constraint propagation technique.

진공압출성형 공정을 이용하여 한쪽 끝단이 막힌 다공질 탄화규소 캔들 필터를 단일공정으로 제조하는 기술을 확립하였다. 캔들 필터 지지층의 특성 최적화를 위해 탄화규소 출발입자와 무기바인더의 첨가량 변화를 통해 기계적 특성과 기공크기 등의 분석을 수행하여 상용 캔들 필터의 수준에 대응할 수 있는 조합을 도출하였다. Mullite와 clay를 소결조제로 사용하고, $30{\mu}m$ 입도의 탄화규소 입자로 지지층을 제조한 경우, 30% 이상의 기공율을 보유하면서 50 MPa 이상의 상온 3점 굽힘강도를 나타낼 수 있는 조건이 확립됨에 따라 $125{\mu}m$ 입도의 탄화규소와 bi-modal로 사용할 경우, 상용제품의 특성을 상회하는 탄화규소 캔들 필터가 제조될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

As modern society attaches important to a value in mental aspect and characteristics of consumers who become diverse and individualistic, lighting design also changes closely with everyday life. This study suggests a new concept of indoor lighting design, combining natural objects with lattice and Korean paper, one of our representative traditional materials in lighting design used in everyday life. In particular, it was designed with aesthetic sense of traditional culture and Korean sentiment besides external effect and function by combining Korean paper with natural objects such as insect and plant, material that could be easily obtain around us. As a result, it is intended to enhance quality of life and pursue happiness by suggesting a new concept of lighting design which is modern, harmonizes with everyday life of modern humans who become individualistic, and can arouse sensibility, overcoming the limitations of traditional lighting in indoor lighting.

Reliability evaluation of One-Shot system which flies at speed of Mach must be evaluated as the result of many firing tests. But many firing tests are impossible because of budget deficit. Consequently the reliability prediction which substitutes firing tests is used. The accuracy of reliability prediction is decided according to a quantity of accumulated test data. If the test data is insufficient, the direction of prediction can not be set. So we propose the reliability prediction method which applies MIL-HDBK-217 Plus. MIL-HDBK-217 Plus is described about reliability prediction method without sufficient test data. So we apply MIL-HDBK-217 Plus to the rocket motor system, and we accomplish a modeling and a reliability prediction about the system.

This paper introduce about development of effective alarm system to apply to power system. This system includes index-components that display alarm information. It was changed color or position, value, etc by operator's tuning. According to use this system, User can not only perform easily a series of alarm analysis, but also can deal with custom system for only user.

The population enumeration data from the decennial U.S. census are used in the apportionment of the U.S. House of Representatives and federal revenue sharing. The primary purpose of this study is to examine the various issues about the U.S. Census 2000. More specifically, this paper analyzes the sociopolitical implications of the racial and ethnic variations in net undercount rate in the census. In addition. we investigate the politics of race and ethnicity centering the census questions on race and use of sampling for adjustment of the enumeration data.
