Lee jaema pointed out Zhugong as well as Zhang zhongjing and Hur joon to be the most worthy medical men in his book, Dong-eui-soo-sae-bo-won. Nevertheless, there has not been much research on Zhugong. This paper treats relations between contents in 'Huo-ren-shu' and 'Dong-eui-soo-sae-bo-won'. From this, we could find the reason why Lee jaema had estimated Zhugong so highly. The correlation between two books can be summarized as follows. First, both books emphasize biaoli and yinyang. Second, both books put their priority on bianbing over bianzheng. Third, Dong-eui-soo-sae-bo-won quoted the most medical cases and prescriptions from Huo-ren-shu after Shang-han-lun.

Most of web-based education systems are only to supply education information. As the web becomes the common basis to support the effective education, it is used for not only applying education information but also developing to the dimension to provide various services. The education service models prospering to the newly diverse environment are necessary. In this paper, a education resource service system based on functional broker is implemented to overcome the weakness of the traditional Web-based instruction. This paper shows that the web-based education service system such as functional broker can manage the varied education resources efficiently and so contribute to realize the life-long education.

In this paper, we studied a reflector design that can improve the illuminance uniformity when using a xenon flash lamp in the photonic sintering process. To achieve complete sintering of substrates in the irradiated area, the light efficiency and illuminance uniformity were set to target performance. Existing elliptical reflectors or parabolic reflectors make it easy to satisfy the target light efficiency, but have difficulty satisfying the illuminance uniformity. In this paper, a twin-concave feature has been added to the center of the parabolic reflector to satisfy the illuminance uniformity. It was confirmed that the illuminance uniformity of the parabolic reflector with a twin-concave feature was improved, compared to that of the traditional reflector.

The emotion and culture of an age are reflected through several mediums. The special quality and generality are discovered through household utensils used in everyday life specially. This paper was intended as proceeding study for brand development with national empathic relationship. In this article, we were here concerned with symbolism and features for stories of traditional pattern on ancestral common household utensils, and considered about development possibility by brand of tradition pattern. As analysis for symbolism of traditional pattern, re-sorting and classifying pattern, meaning, symbol and stories of pattern based on 'Blessing notion' were set. It was found from the analysis that meaning and symbol of traditional pattern were set up and stories for them were excerpted. This study defines tradition pattern classified based on 'Blessing notion' as '8 Blessing pattern', and investigated development possibility and derivative value of it. We discovered through this study that 'Blessing patterns' function as communicator, have 4 abilities in sympathy with brand paradigm, and have 6 elements of brand identity. Furthermore, 'Blessing Patierns' have some derivative functions; cognitive intension, expression, loyalty, differentiation and symbol. This research will become basis of study for brand development having 'Empathic relationship' and foundation of 'Blessing brand' that is available to be umbrella and super brand. A further direction of this study will be to make 'Blessing brand series' and to create culture of it. We hope Korean brand market goes a step further through our studies

Objectives : Huangqintang(⿈芩湯) is a famous herbal prescription in the Traditional Korean Medicine (e.g. Shanghanlun) to treat various chronic disease such as neurological disease and digestive system disease. Its components include Scutellariae Radix(⿈芩), Paeonia lactiflora(芍藥), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma(⽢草), Zizyphi Fructus(⼤棗). Methods : In this study, we standardize the name, composition and medical uses of Huangqintang by literature studying and paper searching. Based on the comparison between oriental medicine and modern medicine pharmacology, we linked the medical uses of Huangqintang to Korean Standard Classification of Diseases (KCD). Results and Conclusion : The name of the prescription is unified into "Huangqintang", and its composition ratio between Scutellariae Radix, Paeonia lactiflora, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, and Zizyphi Fructus is 3:2:2:3. Huangqintang is used for enteritis diseases due to its antipyretic and antinflammatory effects. Its medical application was relatied with 'A'code, 'C'code, and 'K'code as indicated by KCD. By standardizing the mixed conceptions of Huangqintang, this review will facilitate the coding of Huangqintang prescription. Therefore, it will make Huangqintang prescription more useful in clinics.

This paper suggested MyeonGu(面垢), symptom of Baekho-tang(白虎湯) in text 219 of Shang-Han-Lun(傷寒論), could be reinterpreted. There were 4 cases, 1 case on atopic dermatitis and 3 cases on psoriasis. All of them were diagnosed by Ying-Ming-Bing(陽明病) symptom. After taking Baekho-tang, SCORAD index of atopic dermatitis in case 1 improved 62.8 to 12.8 and PASI score of psoriasis in case 2, 3, and 4 improved 13.0 to 2.4, 10.8 to 0.8, and 8.6 to 1.0 respectively. Since Baekho-tang was effective for certain skin disease with Ying-Ming-Bing(陽明病) symptom, MyeonGu could be related on skin problem. MyeonGu was mainly translated in 'someone's face seems to be covered with dirt'. However if Myeon(面) is translated in 'surface of the body' and Gu(垢) is translated in 'inflammation', it means the surface of the body suffered from papules, erythema, white scales, etc. These are features of chronic inflammatory cutaneous disease like atopic dermatitis and psoriasis. This study is meaningful in case of giving specific clinical case of MyeonGu of Baekhotang text of Shanghanlun.

The aim of this study is to analyze the daylight performance at Changdeokgung Nakseonjae that is the representative and most well preserved Korean royal palace. As a result of measuring illuminance and luminance, direct sunlight is cut off by the eaves and reflective light from the court yard comes in the inside of the floor. As the layer of window is increased, daylight is decreased and the illuminance distribution is more stable because of decreasing of illuminance changes. Also, the lower part luminance is higher than upper part of window surface because direct sunlight is cut off by the eaves. This study would be used as preliminary data for applying characteristics of lighting environment of Korean royal palace to modem architecture.

This paper confirmed the effect of Baekho-tang(白虎湯) on psoriasis patient diagnosed with Yangmyung-Yeoljeung(陽明熱證). We treated patients with psoriasis classified as Yangmyung-Yeoljeung(陽明熱證) according to Shanghanlun(傷寒論) with Baekho-tang(白虎湯). Two patients was treated with Baekho-tang(白虎湯) for 18 days and 75 days, respectively. Baekho-tang(白虎湯) used in the treatment consisted of Gypsum Fibrosum 16g, Oryza semen 12.5g, Anemarrhena Rhizoma 6g and Glycyrrhizae Radix 2g. The severity of psoriasis was evaluated by PASI(psoriasis area severity index) and pictures. Also we checked the change in Pruritus by VAS(visual analogue scale). After the Baekho-tang(白虎湯) treatment, the PASI of 2 patients decreased from 13 to 2.8 and from 10.8 to 0.8 respectively. In addition, VAS of 2 patients diminished from 10 to 3 and from 8 to 1 respectively. Moreover, no side effects were observed. We received effective results by giving Baekho-tang to Psoriasis patients with sweaty, dry mouth, and heating sensation. Anti-inflammatory, antipyretic effects and immunomodulatory functions of Baekho-tang(白虎湯) could lead to improvement of psoriasis.

This study aims to analyze functions and characteristics of 'Cha-il(遮日)' which was used at ritual events(宮中儀禮行事) in the Joseon dynasty, Joseon dynasty had many ritual events related with O-Rae(五禮). Cha-il was almost used at important ritual events, especially at the congratulatory events. The congratulatory events(宮中宴享) are the representative events were held with many temporary install facilities(假設施設) in a palace. Cha-il was a kind of Korean traditional membrane structures. Cha-il was set up for cutting off interior space from sunlight and rain. In general, Cha-il was Consisted of Cha-il-jang(遮日帳:woven fabric), Cha-il-jook(遮日竹:bamboo column), some ropes, and fixing wares. In the congratulatory events, three types of Cha-il. were set up. Baek-mok-Dae-Cha-il(白木大遮日)was made of cotton cloth. Yu-Dun-Cha-Il(油芚遮日) was made of oiled paper or oiled cotton cloth. Man-Joen-Cha-Il(滿箭遮日) consisted of wooden structure. Baek-mok-Dae-Cha-il(白木大遮日)was set up on the most important area of stage for protecting from sunlight. Yu-Dun-Cha-Il was set up on less important area of stage for protecting from sunlight and rain. Man-Joen-Cha-Il was set up below Baek-mok-Dae-Cha-il for supporting and draining raindrops off. The results of this study were as follows; Functions of Cha-il were to protect ritually space from sunlight and rain, and to extend ritually space, and to reconstruct ritually space. Cha-il was the peculiar temporary install facility which differed from other countries.

Drilling operation is the most important and costly essential work in oil and gas exploration and development. Therefore, the studies about rate of penetration have been carried out continuously to improve drilling efficiency. In recent years, data-driven models have been developed by various researchers to overcome disadvantages of traditional mathematical models. For the data-driven models, selecting proper algorithms and parameters is very important. In addition, data-driven models should be retrained in real-time during continuous drilling operations in order to improve the model performance. In this paper, the latest studies are investigated to provide information about algorithms, drilling parameters and model retraining intervals that used in drilling optimization.
