지능형 메디컬 기기 개발을 위한 KANO-QFD 모델 제안: AI 기반 탈모관리 기기 중심으로 (A Study on the Development Methodology of Intelligent Medical Devices Utilizing KANO-QFD Model)

  • AI 기술이 결합된 지능형 제품은 기술적 차별화를 실현하며 시장 경쟁력을 높일 수 있는 잠재성을 지닌다. 하지만 시장 수용도를 극대화 할 수 있는 AI 기반의 신제품 개발 방법론은 부재하다. 본 연구는 AI 기반의 지능형 제품 개발에 대한 방법론으로서 KANO-QFD 통합 모델을 제안한다. 실증적인 분석을 위한 구체적 사례로 탈모 예측 및 치료 기기에 대한 소비자 요구조건(Customer Requirements)의 유형을 분류하고, 이를 구현하기 위한 기술적 요구사항(Engineering Characteristics)의 상대적 중요도 및 우선순위를 도출하여 지능형 메디컬 신제품 개발의 방향을 제시하였다. 소비자 130명을 대상으로 실시한 설문조사 분석 결과, KANO 카테고리 중 매력적 품질(Attractive Quality) 요소로 미래 탈모 진행 상황에 대한 정확한 예측, 미래 탈모 모습 및 치료 후 개선된 미래 모습을 실물화하여 스마트폰으로 보고, 세련된 디자인, 레이저와 LED 빛 복합 에너지를 이용한 치료 등이 도출되었다. QFD의 품질의 집(House of Quality)을 기반으로 분석한 결과, 탈모 진단 및 예측을 위한 학습 데이터, 두피 스캔용 Micro 카메라 해상도, 탈모 유형 분류 모델, 맞춤화를 위한 개인별 계정 관리, 탈모 진행상황 진단 모델 순으로 상대적 중요도 및 우선순위가 도출되었다. 본 연구는 기존에 선행되지 않았던 AI 기반의 지능형 메디컬 제품 개발에 대한 방향을 제시하였다는 면에서 의의를 지닌다.

천연헤나 처리 후 퍼머넌트 웨이브 시술 시 모발 손상도 및 형태학적 변화에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Permanent Wave on Hair Damage and Morphological Changes after Natural Henna Treatment)

  • 본 연구에서는 천연헤나 처리 후 펌(permanent wave)을 시술하여 모발의 손상도 및 형태학적 변화에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 실험을 진행하였다. 실험 방법은 아미노산분석, 주사현미경측정에 의한 모발의 두께와 표면관찰, 모발의 컬 형성력과 지속력, 메틸렌블루 염색법, 인장강도와 신장률을 측정하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 아미노산 총량은 천연헤나 처리횟수가 증가할수록 증가하였으며, 모발 보호 효과가 있을 것으로 보인다. 컬 형성력은 대조군에 비해 천연헤나 처리 횟수가 증가할수록 컬은 탄력이 있었다. 지속력은 대조군과 실험군 모두 샴푸 횟수가 많을수록 (C)와 (C)' 길이의 늘어짐이 증가하여 지속력이 감소하였으며, 주사전자현미경에 의한 모발의 두께는 대조군(Control)에 비해 실험군 모두 천연헤나처리 후 모발의 두께가 굵어졌다. 표면의 형태적 관찰에서는 실험군 모두 모발의 표면이 대체적으로 깨끗하고 큐티클 층이 잘 정돈되어 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 메틸렌블루염색법에서는 천연헤나처리 횟수가 증가할수록 흡광도 값은 증가하였다. 인장강도는 대조군에 비해 실험군 모두 인장강도가 감소하였으며, 신장률은 천연 헤나 처리횟수가 증가할수록 실험군의 신장률이 증가하였다. 이상의 결과를 종합하면 천연헤나 처리횟수가 증가할수록 모발의 두께가 굵어졌고, 모발의 컬 형성력과 지속력이 높아졌으며, 모발에 탄력성과 유연성을 부여함으로서 모발 손상을 완화 시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구의 천연헤나 시술법은 염색과 펌의 잦은 화학시술로 인한 고객의 손상된 모발을 관리하고, 미용산업 현장에 올바른 시술방법 제안으로 두피와 모발손상을 줄이는데 기초자료로 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.

인체보건 환경평가를 위한 모발의 중성자방사화분석 (Neutron Activation Analysis of Human Hair for Human Health Assessment)

  • 인체모발중의 각종 미량원소의 함량에는 개인차가 있으며, 개인의 성장환경, 음식물의 섭취, 혈통, 성별, 나이, 직업 등에 의해 함량의 차이를 보이고 있으므로 생활환경으로부터의 외부오염과 음식섭취 및 대사작용을 통한 모발조직내 축적의 정도를 비교하기 위해 인체 모발시료를 채취하여 IAEA의 추천 방법을 이용하여 세척 전후로 나눠 중성자방사화분석법을 이용하여 비파괴 분석하였다. 분석정도관리는 인증표준시료를 이용하였고 Cu, Cr, Na, Co, Mg, As, Se, Zn 등의 상대오차는 ${\pm}5%$ 이내, Mn, Ca, Fe, Sr 등의 원소들은 ${\pm}10%$ 이내였으며, 상대표준편차는 대부분 ${\pm}10%$ 이내였다. 일반인 그룹의 모발을 전두부, 후두부, 좌우두부, 정두부 등 5개 부위에서 채취, 분석하여 개인편차와 부위편차를 추정하였다. 측정원소의 개인편차가 부위편차보다 컸으며, 최대 7배 까지인 것으로 나타났다. 정해진 분석조건에서 사무원과 공장근로자 그룹을 대상으로 두 그룹간의 함량 편차, 생활환경과 모발내 우소의 함량수준간의 연관성을 비교하여 인체 보건환경 평가를 위한 기초 자료로 이용할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

조선시대 남자(男子)의 수식(首飾) 연구(II) - 풍잠(風簪)과 관자(貫子)를 중심(中心)으로 - (A Study on Korean Man's Head Ornaments in the Joseon Dynasty - Focusing on Pungjam and Kwanja -)

  • This thesis is about "manggon" that holds down man's top knot hair and its accessaries "pungjam", "kwanja". manggon was seen first time in the mural of Donwhang kae won chon bo during T'ang period (713-756). The "Tu Aek Ra" manggon shown in this mural would be the origin and beginning of maggon's usage. Also the "Sha" that was placed on top of the hair for decoration purpose is believed to be a former form of "manggon" Before the short hair cut was enforced, wearing the "kwan"(head gear) was considered as an impotant etiguette. Thus the head gear was treasured and the manggon which was the most essential piece to cover down the hair before to put on the head gear was regarded as the most important piece. However, since the manggon was tied very tightly around the forehead, manggon caused some sickness. From my private collections of man's head gears and ornament, 121 items were selected and used for analysis and the followings were found: 1. Pungjam was divided into 8 categories according to its shape and a research was made on its unique structural characteristic on each categories. 2. Kwanja's material and design that were used are all in accordance to the historical recordings.

Environmental tobacco smoke and children's health

  • Passive exposure to tobacco smoke significantly contributes to morbidity and mortality in children. Children, in particular, seem to be the most susceptible population to the harmful effects of environmental tobacco smoke (ETS). Paternal smoking inside the home leads to significant maternal and fetal exposure to ETS and may subsequently affect fetal health. ETS has been associated with adverse effects on pediatric health, including preterm birth, intrauterine growth retardation, perinatal mortality, respiratory illness, neurobehavioral problems, and decreased performance in school. A valid estimation of the risks associated with tobacco exposure depends on accurate measurement. Nicotine and its major metabolite, cotinine, are commonly used as smoking biomarkers, and their levels can be determined in various biological specimens such as blood, saliva, and urine. Recently, hair analysis was found to be a convenient, noninvasive technique for detecting the presence of nicotine exposure. Because nicotine/cotinine accumulates in hair during hair growth, it is a unique measure of longterm, cumulative exposure to tobacco smoke. Although smoking ban policies result in considerable reductions in ETS exposure, children are still exposed significantly to tobacco smoke not only in their homes but also in schools, restaurants, child-care settings, cars, buses, and other public places. Therefore, more effective strategies and public policies to protect preschool children from ETS should be consolidated.

부산지역 청소년의 스트리트 패션 경향 분석 (An Analysis on the Street Fashion Trend of the Adolescent in Pusan)

  • The aim of this research is to establish basic materials for fashion merchandising by observing the street fashion of the juveniles and by analyzing their wearing, coordination and fashion trend. We have taken the photograph of the street fashion of 202 male teenagers and 265 female teenagers in Busan, and analyzed in the category of style, item, color, pattern, materials, hair style, shoes and accessories. We have concluded that the most frequent items were shirts (male), turtle neck (female) and jeans. The main style was casual just as jumper-look, sweater-look, gardigan-look. The typical female fashions that were hip-hop-look, twin neat-look, trench coat-look, were more various than male. For the color coordination, contrast color coordination was more dominant than similarity color coordination. Dominant patterns were solid, and also check and stripe patterns were frequently found in upper garment. The representative materials were soft for upper garment, and hard for trousers. Male teenagers prefer middle-length hair style and female teenagers prefer long hair style. The juveniles in Busan are wearing sports shoes and leather shoes in similar frequency. Their favorite accessories are bag, muffler and hat.

An Analysis on the Relationships between Professions in the Beauty Industry and Blood Type

  • This study was carried out after the author experienced different personalities according to blood type over many years and thus have attempted to find out the relationships between blood type and each occupation in the industry. This study aims to analyze employees in the beauty industry (hair design, skin care, nail art and makeup) in Seoul with regard to their blood types. The significance of this study is to provide baseline data for entrants and managers in the beauty industry in order to help them choose the right occupation and reduce turnover rates through analyzing employee personalities by blood type. Research topics include the following: first, to understand the characteristics of employees in the beauty industry; and second, to find out the relationships between blood types and types of professions. After conducting an inquiry into the relationships between blood type and profession in the industry, a significant portion of skin care (49.3%) and nail art (43.8%) professionals was blood type A; nail artists (43.8%), type AB; hair designers (54.7%), type B; and makeup artists (50.0%) and hair designers (29.2%), type O. In conclusion, these results reflect the personalities of people within the beauty industry by blood type. Skin care and nail art shops are quiet environments, whereas hair salons are relatively louder with contemporary music along with the sounds of various equipment.

부검체 두발과 장기의 중금속 오염농도 관련성 (A Note on Relationship between Strengths of Heavy Metals Contamination in Scalp Hair and Organs from Autopsy Subjects)

  • 많은 역학조사에서 두발을 이용하여 체내 중금속 오염 정도를 알아보는 방법이 유용한 것으로 보고 있다. 본 논문에서는 61구의 부검체를 이용하여 다변량기법으로 두발과 장기의 수은 및 카드늄 축적정도를 측정하여 상호간 관련성을 밝히고자 하였다. 그 결과 수은의 경우 두발에서의 축적정도와 2차 축적장기와는 통계적으로 유의한 상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

Ventriculoperitoneal Shunt without Hair Shaving Using Absorbable Suture Materials

  • Objective : Infection is one of most devastating complications in ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt surgery. Preoperative hair removal has traditionally been performed to reduce infectious complications. We performed VP shunt surgeries and evaluated the prevalence of infection in patients who were shaved and those who were unshaven. Methods : A retrospective analysis was conducted of 82 patients with hydrocephalus of various pathologies who underwent VP shunt surgery, with or without having the head shaved, between March 2010 and March 2017. For patients in the non-shaved group (n=36), absorbable suture materials were used for wound closure, and Nylon sutures or staples were used in the shaved group (n=46). We evaluated the infection outcomes of patients in the two groups. Results : There was no difference in the average age of patients in the two groups. In the non-shaved group, there were no infections, while two patients in the shaved group required revision because of shunt infection. Conclusion : Non-shaved shunt surgery may be safe and effective, with no increase of infection rate. We recommend that shunt procedures could be performed without shaving the hair, which may increase patients' satisfaction without increasing infection risk.

Analysis of Minerals in the Hair of Mental Retardation

  • Several heavy metals are known to give some kinds of mental retardation although abnormal X-chromosome is closely connected with genetic disease such as mental retardation. This study dealt with the influence of minerals in the hair of mental retardation people. Minerals were analyzed by Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (Sciex Elan 6100, Perkin-Elmer corporation, Foster, CA, USA). The nutritional elements such as Ca, Na, K were higher level (p<0.01) in normal group than in the mental retardation group. The toxic elements such as Cd (p<0.01) and As were higher level in the mental retardation group than in normal group. But Pb is not significant difference among the all groups including normal group.
