XML has established itself as the format for data exchange on the internet and the volume of its instance is large scale. Therefore, to extract similar information from XML instance is one of research topics but is insufficient. In this paper, we extract similar information from various kind of XML instances according to the same goal. Also we use only the structure information of XML instance for information extraction because some of XML instance is described without its schema. In order to efficiently extract similar information, we propose a minimum unit of processing and two approaches for finding the unit. The one is a structure-based method which uses only the structure information of XML instance and another is a measure-based method which finds a unit by numerical formula. Our two approaches can be applied to any application that needs the extraction of similar information based on XML data. Also the approach can be used for HTML instance.

기업간전자상거래 (B2B)의 활성화에 따라 주요 IT 업체들은 B2B 를 위한 다양한 솔루션을 개발하고 있으며, 그 과정에서 데이터 교환 표준으로 XML 이 널리 적용되고 있다. XML 은 인터넷상에서 구조화된 문서를 자유롭게 교환 및 정의할 수 있는 특성을 갖는다. 본 연구에서는 XML 이 최근 급속히 적용되고 있는 요인을 주목하여 기업의 도입의향을 중심으로 연구를 수행하였다. 우선 '조직간 시스템 도입 관련' 선행 연구를 참고하여 설문에 의한 실증분석방법을 통해 XML 도입의향을 연구하였다. 더불어 부차적 방법으로 XML 과 관련 언어 (SGML/HTML/EDI 등)의 특성 비교 과정을 통해 XML 의 특징으로부터 e 마켓플레이스의 등장으로 대표되는 기업 경영 환경 변화 요소를 추론을 시도하였다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 분석 결과 XML 의 도입 의향에 영향을 미치는 요소를 분석하였고, 새로운 IT 기술인 XML의 적용에서 기업환경의 중요 변화 특징에 대한 시사점을 얻을 수 있었다.

오늘날 HTML을 대체하기 위해 등장한 XML은 디지털 정보교환 형식의 표준으로 자리 잡은 후 XML 문서를 데이터베이스에 저장하고 원하는 정보를 효율적으로 질의한 후 결과를 출력하는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 XML 문서를 미리 설계되어진 Analyzer를 이용해서 관계형 테이블에 저장한 후 사용자가 XQuery를 사용하여 질의를 한다. 변환기에 의해서 SQL로 데이터베이스에 질의를 하게 되고 그 결과는 테이블에서 다시 XML 형태로 재생성하여 사용자는 XML 형태의 결과를 볼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 XQuery로 질의한 결과를 다시 XML로 재생성하는 기법에 대한 설명과 관련 테이블의 구조와 구현 과정을 비롯하여 접기서 제시한 재생성 기법을 recursive function으로 구현한 경우와 반복문으로 구현한 경우를 테스트하여 recursive function으로 구현한 경우가 반복문으로 구현한 경우보다 재생성하는 시간이 빠르다는 것을 확인하고 보다 효율적이라는 결론을 제시한다.

In this paper, we suggest a method for dynamic generation of SMIL documents by user profiles on the web. Generated multimedia documents are based on the SMIL (Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language) that are recommended by the W3C. The method generates automatically XSLT documents according to user profiles. SMIL documents are produced on real-time by integration of the XSLT documents and the XML documents that are made already. Most of conventional web-based documents are based on the HTML that is difficult to support reusability of documents are relation among multimedia abject. However, the suggested method is based on the XML, and so it supports reusability of documents and produces efficiently various SMIL-based multimedia documents. Application for the suggested method are as follows; Electronic commerce, tele-lecture, a web-based document editing, etc.

Recently, various integrated service comes true by a development of a mobile internet technology and Internet. However, much mobile internet contents should be developed to provide integrated service of good quality and does. Existing Internet contents consists of contents of a HTML base and uses in a mobile internet environment by restriction of mobile internet device, but there is a difficulty. In this paper, we was compatible with existing Internet contents in mobile internet, and wire Internet and wireless Internet contents came, and a conversion was able and designed a XML-based on mobile document conversion system that it was possible with various mobile contents.

현재 전자상거래에서 정보전달에 쓰이고 있는 HTML이나 EDI는 정보의 전달과 효율방면에는 별로 유용하지가 않다. 그 대처 방안으로 정보전달에 매우 유용하고 효율적인 XML이 대두되고 있다. 그러나 XML 문서는 정보제공자 마다 그 구성과 태그이름이 다르다. 이러한 타 XML 문서를 사용하기 위해서는 정보제공자와 같은 구조의 XML을 사용하거나 XML문서의 변환이 불가피하다. XML은 XSL을 사용하여 변환이 가능하지만 구조와 요소이름이 파악되지 않은 XML문서의 변환은 그 문서를 분석뿐만 아니라 변환시킬 수 있는 XSL을 직접 제작 해줘야 한다. 이와 같은 작업은 전자 상거래에서 저해요인이 될 뿐 아니라 시간적으로도 크나큰 손실이다. 본 논문에서는 Java를 기반으로 사용자의 편의적인 GUI(Graphical Use Interface)에 입각한 XSL문서 제작 도구의 구현 및 향후 개발 방향을 제시하였다.

HTML의 사용상의 한계로 인해 등장한 XML은 현재 여러 분야에서 다양하게 사용되고 있다. XML 모델링 이란 어플리케이션과 사용자가 요구하는 정보를 가지고 미래에 요구되는 변화에도 충분히 대응할 수 있는 유연한 XML문서를 제작하는 과정이다. 이에 따라 XML 문서를 모델링 하기 위한 방법들이 나오게 되었으며 좀더 정확하고 유연한 XML 문서의 제작을 위한 모델링기법이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재의 모델링언어 중 보편적으로 사용되고 있는 UML(Unified Modeling Language)표기법을 이용하여 XML을 모델링 하는 기존의 모델링기법을 소개하고 기존의 방법이 가지고 있는 어트리뷰트와 엘리먼트의 식별, 네임스페이스표기 등 문제점을 파악한 후 문제점들을 개선한 XML 모델링기법을 제안하였다. 기존에 모델링기법에서 표현하지 못하였던 어트리뷰트(Attribute)와 앨리먼트(Element)를 구별하였고 네임스페이스(Namespace)의 표기를 나타내었다.

기존 웹상 HTML 사용의 경우 문서 브라우징의 역할밖에 못하여 그 자체로는 의미가 없었기에 실행 가능한 프로그램을 따로 설계하여야 했다. SGML의 서브셋인 XML을 사용할 경우 단순한 문서가 아닌 객체로 취급되어 구조화된 데이터를 표현하고 전달하고 교화할 수 있다. 이러한 이유로 JAVA와 XML을 이용한 융통성있는 웹 어플리케이션 개발이 큰 관심거리에 속하고 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹 컨텐츠를 XML로 작성하고 JAVA를 기반으로 XMLDOM을 이용하여 그 객체를 얻어와 간단한 인터넷 기반 마켓에 적용시킨다. 또한 그 자료를 DATAMINING에 활용하는 시스템을 설계, 구현하였다. 서버에 별도의 데이터베이스를 만들고 그것을 클라이언트에 연결하는 복잡한 방법을 XML객체를 사용하는 방법으로 간단하게 대체하였다. 데이터는 XML 객체로 이루어져 상점거래가 이루어지고, 이것은 고객 분석 및 상품분석을 위한 DATAMINING에 사용할 수 있게 해준다. 이로써 단순한 XML이 여러 다양한 데이터베이스로써 역할을 하게 된다.
