2차원 유한요소해석에 의한 선형 스텝핑 전동기의 추력 및 수직력 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Thrust force and Normal force Characteristics of Linear Stepping Motor by 2D Finite Element Analysis)

  • 최근 자동제어 시스템의 다양한 분야에서 선형운동용 디지털 액튜에이터인 하이브리드형 선형 스텝핑 전동기(HLSM)의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. HLSM은 기계적인 운동변환기구가 필요하지 않는 직접 구동방식이기 때문에 효율과 경제적인 측면에서 회전형 스텝핑 전동기에 비해 매우 유리한 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 가장 많이 연구되고 있는 자속종방향(LFM)형 HLSM의 개발을 위하여 2차원 유한요소법(FEM)으로 최적의 치 형상을 설계하고 추력과 수직력을 계산하였다. 그리고 직접 LFM형 HLSM의 시작기를 제작하고, LFM형 HLSM의 추력 특성을 실험하였다.

  • In the recently, the necessity of linear position control motors have been increased in the various fields of the automatic control system. In this paper, we have designed the tooth models of the hybrid type linear stepping motor(HLSM); rectangular type(RT), triangle type(TrT), round type(RdT) and wedge type(WT), and proposed the optimum tooth shape of the HLSM by simulating(Flux2D) the thrust and normal force characteristics with the finite element method(FEM) and the virtual work method. And we have manufactured the prototype HLSM with the optimum tooth, and measured the various values by using experimental system. Thus, we have confirmed the justice of theory because the computed and the experimental results almost coincide with.

  • Nowadays, the necessity of linear position control motors have been increased in the various fields of the automatic control system. In the recently, the position control motor have disadvantaged in the efficiency and economical view since it require a conversion equipments such as belt and gear in order to convert rotary to linear motion. On the contrary, the hybrid linear stepping motor(HLSM) of linear motion digital actuator has a direct drive method that do not need mechanical conversion equipments. Therefore, the HLSM is better advantaged in the efficiency and economical view than a rotary stepping motor. In this paper, we have designed an optimum tooth shape and a permanent magnet value between the mover teeth by the 2D finite element method(FEM) to develop the HLSM with longitudinal flux machine(LFM) type, and calculated the thrust force and normal force. And we have manufactured the prototype of it. and have experimented the thrust force and the dynamic thrust characteristics of it.

  • In this paper, we have designed the advanced DVT HLSM inserted a permanent magnet into the slot in order to improve the thrust force without increasing the normal force. And it was analyzed the characteristics of thrust force and normal force of the new HLSM by using Finite Element Method and Virtual Work Method. As a result of this paper it was confirmed that the thrust force characteristics of the new HLSM improved about 23% in comparision with DVT HLSM without increasing the normal force.

  • In this paper, the vibration characteristics of a 2-phase Hybrid type Linear Stepping Motor(HLSM) are analyzed using the ACSL. A magnetic equivalent circuit is based on the structure of the HLSM, and then the electric equivalent circuit of the HLSM is derived by solving equations for the magnetic equivalent circuit. A normal force is calculated using FEM(Flux2D). And the vibration characteristics of the HLSM are simulated by the ACSL with the voltage equations, the thrust equation, the normal force equation and the kinetic equation.

  • In this paper, a voltage equations, a thrust force equations and kinetic equation are derived from the basic structure of a 2-phase hybrid type linear stepping motor(HLSM). And a micro-stepping method in order to eliminate effectively the resonant phenomena and to increase the positional resolution of the HLSM was proposed. The proposed micro-stepping method can divide one step into the maximum 128 micro-steps under simple control system. The dynamic characteristics of proposed micro-stepping method were analyzed by the ACSL(Advanced Continuous Simulation Language) with the voltage equations, the thrust force equations and the kinetic equation, and were measured by laser experimental system. As the result, the justice of theory was confirmed, and the resonant phenomena, the positional resolution and dynamic thrust were improved by the proposed micro-stepping method.

  • In this paper, We have designed the new tooth shape in order to improve the thrust and normal force of HLSM. Also it was analyzed by Finite Element Method and Virtual Work Method. As a result this paper, it was confirmed that the thrust and normal force was improved considerably.

  • In this paper, We have designed the new model in order to the thrust and normal force of HLSM. Also it was analyzed by Finite Element Method and Virtual Work Method. As a result this paper, it was confirmed that the thrust and normal force was improved considerably.
