Our ancestor has accumulated inimitable a building system from experience. and they finally invented Gu-dul that heat the stone as a hitting system. The purpose of this study is to investigate and to write down the on Excavation & Restoration of Traditional Gu-dul in Young-dong. It was found that Gu-dul was the most suited for natural condition. That is wind, direction, earth level. As the results of analyzing the built- technque of traditional Gu- dul : 1) The Gu-dul type is lined, scattered, and mixed. 2) The hight of bank is 25-30cm, 3) The depth of Gaejari is 30-45cm, and The slope of that is gentle. 4) The slope of Gorae(a floor hitter) is 5 - 8%. (from the middle to the edge and from the lower part to the upper part) Therefore, For the practical application of future houses, it will be needed to develop the reasonable hitting system, and suggest to set up Gu-dul for our health and saving energy.

This study presented the reinforcing effect of sands by newly devised $Tirecell^{(R)}$ made by waste tires, tire mat by sidewalls of tires and Geocell. Plate loading tests were conducted for different reinforcing materials at the same condition. The combination of Tirecell and sidewall gives the highest increase of bearing capacity and reduction of settlement. The Geocell with the same hight of Tirecell gives similar reinforcement effect to the tire mat made by sidewalls.

고전압 시험 진행시, 시험전압의 파고치, 순시강하, 정현파로부터의 편차, 규약 파두장과 같은 시간특성을 측정할 때는 일반적으로 IEC60060-2에 따른 인증절차를 거친 장치를 사용해야 한다. 최근 LG산전 전력시험 기술센타의 고전압 시험실은 기존의 아날로그 오실로스코프를 디지털 오실로스코프로 교체하고 PC와 GPIB를 이용해 시험변수의 자동 계산을 위해 관련 소프트웨어를 개발했다. 또한, 새로 구축한 측정시스템의 성능검증을 위해 산업체 인증기관인 LG산전이 보유하고 있는 기준계측시스템과의 비교시험을 실시하고 측정 불확도를 산출하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 새로운 측정 시스템에 적용한 성능시험방법과 불확도 산출방법, 소프트웨어의 기능과 성능에 대해 소개하고자 한다.

The barrier heights and carrier densities of ZnO varistors with various compositions were estimated using C-V, J-V and $\rho$-T relations. The barrier heights obtained from C-V and J-V plots were 0.73~5.98 eV and 0.25~2.70 eV, respectively. The carrier densities estimated from C-V plots were ~$10^{18}cm^{-3}$. Acceptable values of the barrier heights and the carrier densities were obtained from $\rho$-1/T curves and the capacitances at zero bias; 0.6~0.8 eV for the barrier heights and ~$10^{17}cm^{-3}$ for carrier densities. Addition of cobalt increased the barrier height and the carrier density, while chromium slightly lowered both of them.

A 230 GHz SIS tunnel junction receiver has been being developed for radio astronomy in Nagoya University. In this heterodyne receiver, we use a $\~$1/3 reduced hight rectangular waveguide SIS mixer with two tuning elements as front end. The mixer block with SIS junction was cooled to 4K with a closed cycle He-gas refrigerator. So far, a double sideband receiver noise temperature lower than l00K in 222-237 GHz is obtained. The receiver exhibits a best DSB noise temperature of 69K at 236 GHz as well as 228 GHz.

This study is on the precision of the optical scanner which is suitable for shape modeling and non-contact equipment, comparing with a razer scanner. The optical scanner not only has all merits that non-contact methods have but also improve a veil phenomenon which is a razer scanner's demerits. However, the optical scanner has not been used extensively because the measurements are not very precise and there are not the definite methods of measurement. Hence, this study is to find out how parameters such as camera's hight, angle, luminous intensity, distance to object, and so on have an influence on measuring using the optical scanner and to establish the methods of measuring precision.

Lifeboat davit is composed of main frame, main arm, upper arm and support bar. In this paper, design parameters that affect the bending stiffness were set as plate thickness, width and hight of upper arm. To analyze the influence of parameter factors, FEM and Taguchi Method were used. This paper will help substantially in many industries.

An automated process planning system for cold forging of non-axisymmetric parts of comparatively simple shape was developed in this study. Programs for the system have been written with Visual LISP in the AutoCAD using a personal computer and are composed of four main modules such as input module, shape cognition and shape expression module, material diameter determination module and process planning module. The design rules and knowledges for th system are extracted from the plasticity theories. handbook, relevant reference and empirical knowledge of field experts. Generally, in forging, only front view is needed for expression of axisymmetric parts, but non-axisymmetric parts are needed both front view and plane. At the plane, this system cognizes the external shape of non-axisymmetric parts - number of sides of regular polygon and radius of a circle circumscribing the polygon of n sides. At the front view, the system perceives diameter of axisymmetric portions and hight of primitive geometries such as polygon, cylinder, cone, concave, convex, etc.

The Korea National Agricultural College (KNAC) was established as a special three academic years(six semesters) course by the Presidential Act in July 1995 and opened on March 20, 1997. According to the Act, the students of KNAC are granted free boarding in dormitory, full support of educational expenses, and, after completion, exception in military service and financial support for farming, which is their obligation to do for a double period of the total school year. With these institutional favors KNAC is hight expected to bring up promising young farm managers in Korea. However, actual competitive young farm managers are brought up by the well organized education with emphasis on learning by doing approach. With the relation to the education this study was performed to review and examine present situation of faculty organization, facilities and equipments, curriculum including field training in home land and oversea's counties. This study found out that there were undesirable aspects such as unbalanced faculty members among the departments, lack of practice farm land and limited budget in field training, which should be improved to achieve the objectives of KNAC.
