Purpose: The purpose of this study was to report the clinical application of traditional korean medicine(TKM) treatment to hyeolheopungyeol type of dermatoses gravidarum. Methods: We experienced four patients who had been suffering from itching, plaque, erythema during pregnancy. They had already been treated with antihistamine or ointment, but they were not improved. We diagnosed their case as hyeolheopungyeol type of dermatoses gravidarum, and treated with sopungsan-gaml. Results: After TKM treatment, itching, plaque and erythema were alleviated or resolved. And they gave birth to a healthy baby. Conclusion: The results indicate that TKM, sopungsan-gami can be effective for the management of hyeolheopungyeol type of dermatoses gravidarum.

Malignant transformation of ovarian mature cystic teratomas is rare, and papillary thyroid cancer occurs in 0.1%-0.3% of ovarian teratomas that undergo malignant transformation. We describe a case of successful in vitro fertilization pregnancy and delivery after a fertility-sparing laparoscopic operation in a patient with papillary thyroid carcinoma arising from a mature cystic teratoma.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze current status of the web-sites dealing with oriental obstetrics & gynecology in the internet, and to evaluate their quality and confidence of health information. Methods: It was selected 54 local sites by searching for such key words as menstrual pain. The evaluation tool consisted of six major classification (Content, Authorship, Purpose, Functionality, Feedback and Privacy). Results: In the evaluation of web-sites, the lowest and the highest scores were 7 and 19 out of 26, and the average score was 13.94. The scores of Purpose, Content, Feedback were higher than the average, but the scores of Authorship, Functionality, Privacy were lower than the average. Conclusion: There is a need to develop a high-quality information about latest, confidence, authorship of documents, and to prevent a exposure of privacy.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to report the effect of Traditional Korean Medicine(TKM) on cold sensitivity of hands and feet. And we wanted that cold sensitivity of hands and feet was measured objectively and diagnosed definitely using Digital Infrared Thermographic Imaging(DITI). Methods: The patient in this case was a 29-year-old female. The chief complaint was cold sensitivity of hands and feet. We treated her by TKM and evaluated the progress of symptoms by DITI. And then we compared DITI before treatment and after treatment. Results: After TKM treatment, the differences of temperature of hands and feet were decreased on DITI, respectively. Conclusion: TKM treatment is effective on cold sensitivity of hands and feet. And DITI would be valid to measure for treatment's effect of cold sensitivity of hands and feet.

The effect of artificial oocyte activation (AOA) with a calcium ionophore on intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection (IMSI) was examined in patients with histories of repeated failed implantation attempts. Four singleton pregnancies and one twin pregnancy were obtained after embryos transfer (5/14, 35.7%). Therefore, AOA combined with IMSI can be considered an option for cycles with a fertilization defect and recurrent implantation failures.
