Electromagnetic and electric surveys were performed to reveal the deep structure of the Yangsan fault in the Bong-gye and Unyang areas, Kyeongnam Province, Korea. Especially, high-frequency magnetotelluric (HFMT) method of EM survey was mainly employed to study the deep subsurface configuration of Yangsan fault. HFMT survey was performed at 25 points of spacing 50 m, making 1.3 km survey line in Unyang area and 13 points of spacing 50 m, making 0.6 km survey line in Bong-gye area. Two 2-D cross-sections (Unyang and Bong-gye areas) were achieved as results. Electric survey by dipole-dipole array was performed to study the structure of shallow subsurface and compare the results with HFMT surveys. The results of HFMT and electric surveys show that Yangsan fault is a geologic boundary. It is very narrow and steep (about $80^{\circ}C$), and extends to 1~1.5 km depth.

Purpose: The treatment of calcaneal fractures remains a controversy in orthopaedic field because of its complications. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of the treatment of calcaneal fractures and its complications. Materials and Methods: Clinical and radiological results were retrospectively analyzed in 28 patients, 34 cases with fractures of calcaneus which were treated in our department from September 1998 to march 2003. Results: According to the Creighton-Nebraska Foundation Assessment score, there were 3 excellent, 11 good, and 12 fair 6 poor results. Bohler angle was corrected from $8.3^{\circ}$ to $18.3^{\circ}$, Gissane angle was corrected from $121^{\circ}$ to $135^{\circ}$, and calcaneal width was corrected from 46.8mm to 37mm. Conclusion: Open reduction and internal fixation for joint depression type calcaneal fractures thought to be a good method of treatment. Closed reduction and percutaneous axial pinning should be chosed in selected cases of tongue type fractures. In treatment of complicated calcaneal fractures as malunion, subtalar distraction arthrodesis and lateral wall exostectomy will reduce disability of the disease.

With the development of Geospatial Technology (GT), many countries and industries have been expanding their investment in constructing a cyber territory. As the critical components of this cyber territory, three-dimensional models and virtual reality contents based on these models of urban areas in particular have been considered. These models and contents can be intensively used for a city to decide the policies efficiently and to attract the interests of peoples while planning and performing large projects. In this study, we have thus constructed the 3D models and virtual reality contents of the large areas along the CheongGye stream to visualize the environment of these areas before and after the CheongGyeCheon restoration project being completed. Furthermore, we propose efficient methods to construct and visualize these large models, such as tile mapping and multiple LOD application.

This paper briefly examines the Book of Changes that is the philosophical background of East Asian ancient mathematics and its collection of complementary(ShíYì), and then examines the structure and contents of GyeSaJeon, which explains the basic principles of Book of Changes as one of ShíYì. GyesaJeon reveals the unique East Asian thought of dealing with numbers in the process of explaining the formation of Eight-Gwae(Bagua) and Sixty-four-Gwae based on Yin-Yang theory. It understands numbers in terms of symbols, not quantitative, and use them to represent characteristics or hierarchy of certain classes, and to explain certain principles. Based on this, the implications of using East Asian mathematics history in the mathematics classroom are discussed.

HwaSungSungYouk was one of the construction project in viewpoint of today's construction management and various information how to build the HwaSung at the last of the eighteen century had been recored in HwaSungSungYoukEuGye. The purpose of this study is to analyse the HwaSungSungYoukEuGye' management technic in viewpoint of today's construction management. In the record, there are a lot of informtion relate to record management, time management, cost management, etc. and the concept of the managements can be applied to today's construction project effectively. The concept and detail of the HwaSungSungYouk's project management should be analysed more.

The cervicogenic headache is not well defined for its characteristics and development of disease. It is developed by many causes including trauma principally. But, most cases have no radiologically specific clue for diagnosis. So, past hisory and clinical symptoms and signs are important for clinician to detect and diagnose the disease. Our clinic had treated the 2 cases of cervicogenic headache with different methods, and the patients were well respond the therapy.

'Hae Dong Gye Meong Hwan' is a Chinese patent medicine, which is used as a cough remedy or an expectorant, for asthma, bronchitis, and so on in Korea. This powdery medicine consist of 14 kinds of crude drugs. For the identification of individual ingredients in the preparation, microscopic method may advantageously be used as it requires only a small amount of specimens. In this paper, the effectiveness of this method is exemplified by the identification of the ingredients.

We experienced a rare case of erection failure which developed after unilateral lumbar sympathetic block. A 43 year old male patient suffering from reflex sympathetic dystrophy, which had developed after multiple communitted fracture of the right ankle, underwent right lumbar sympathetic block with 99.9% alcohol. The effectiveness of the lumbar sympathetic block was evaluated by monitoring the clinical symptoms, signs and temperature changes by digital infrared thermographic imaging. Postoperatively, the temperature of the affected side limb rose about $2^{\circ}C$, but the patient's conditions gradually returned to normal. Ten days after the operation the patient complainted of difficulty in achieving an erection. The patient was examined by a urologst without much results. The patient gradually recovered his ability to achieve an erection approximately 5 weeks after the lumbar sympathetic block.

Objective : Understanding the state of sanitation policy during the period of Japanese colonization of Korea. Method : Analyze 'Slang on hygiene practices' found in Korean medical journal "ChoSunEuiHakGye" that published in the period of Japanese colonization. And analyze articles that were same theme. Results : Japanese colonial policy regards the colony people's old adage of health as outrageous things. Japanese colonial police demands don't use old adage of health because it is obstruction to colonial hygiene policy. Conclusion : The Japanese occupation health administration led by the Japanese police considered Korean people as significant. And they regarded old adage of health as harmful habits. In addition, the knowledge derived from traditional Korean medicine was turned away outrageous things. Traditional Korean medicine knowledge lost the chance of renewal.

The purpose of this study is to understand the production efficiency of individual fishing communities and provide directions for improvement. The subject of the study is aquaculture type Ochon-Gye in Goheung-gun. The analysis method used bootstrap-DEA to overcome the statistical reliability problem of the traditional DEA analysis technique. In addition, data mining-GIS was applied to identify the spatial productivity of fishing communities. The values of technology efficiency, pure technology efficiency, and scale efficiency were estimated for 32 aquaculture-type fishing villages. Then, using the benchmarking reference set and weights, the projection was presented through adjustment of the input factor excess, and furthermore, the confidence interval of the efficiency values considering statistical significance was estimated using bootstrap.
