사각장치에 의해 감지된 가이드 마크를 이용한 이동 로보트의 효과적인 항법 (Effective Navigation of a Mobile Robot Using Guide-Marks Sensed through Vision)

  • The navigation problem for a mobile robot is investigated. Specifically, it is proposed that simple guide-marks be introduced and the navigation scheme be generated in conjunction with the guide-marks sensed through camera vision. For autonomous navigation, it was shown that a triple guide-mark system is more effective than a single guide-mark in estimating the position and orientation of mobile robot itself. The navigation system is tested via a mobile robot HERO-I equipped with a single camera in laboratory environment.

  • 본 연구는 사이버대학 가이드시스템에 대한 정보디자인적 접근을 통하여 사용자들이 학사제도 및 강의정보를 친근하고 쉽게 이용할 수 있도록 하고 이를 통해 대학의 학사과정이 보다 안정적이고 활발하게 운영되도록 하는데 필요한 요소를 논의하고자 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기술과 소비자의 인식변화에 따른 가이드 시스템의 변화를 통하여 인지심리학 및 인간중심 커뮤니케이션 이론에 입각한, 미래 Web 2.0 시대에 적용될 가이드 시스템의 모습을 제시해 보고자 한다.

  • This paper presents a computer design program for In-Core Instrumentation(ICI) guide tube routing and locations on support system, and checking the interference between ICI guide tubes in the reactor coolant system of typical Pressurized Water Reactor. The program, ICITRIC, has been written in FORTRAN language which is available under UNIX environment. Results of this program are compared with those of the commercial code, PATRAN, and both results are almost same Also the results may provide input data for ICI system static and dynamic analysis performed by the commercial code, SUPER PIPE. This program can simulate ICI guide tube routing and locations on support system, and checking the interference between ICI guide tubes. Through a process of iteration, the designer can apply initial conditions, and modify the routing until satisfied with the overall system performance.

공공 안내 로봇을 위한 인체 검출 기반의 방향성 감지 시스템 (A Directional Perception System based on Human Detection for Public Guide Robots)

  • Most public guide robots installed in public spots such as exhibition halls and lobbies of department store etc., have poor capability to distinguish the users who require services. As to provide suitable services, public guide robots should have a human detection system that makes it possible to evaluate intention of customers from their movement direction. In this paper, a DPS (Directional Perception System) is realized based on face detection technology. In particular, to catch human movement efficiently and reduce computational time, human detection technology using face rectangle, which is obtained from the human face, is developed. DPS determines which customer needs services of public guide robots by investigating the size and direction of face rectangle. If DPS is adapted, guide service will be provided with more satisfaction and reliability, and power efficiency also can be added up because public guide robots provide services only for the users who expresses their intentions of wanting services explicitly. Finally, through several experiments, the feasibility of the proposed DPS is verified.

SUS 육각봉 인발성형 시스템의 클램프 가이드 바에 관한 구조해석 (Structural Analysis on Clamp Guide Bar of Drawing Process System for SUS Hexagonal Bar)

  • In order to remove rust and impurities from surface of raw SUS circular bar, peeling machine is used to make lustrous and clean surface of SUS circular bar. Drawing process system is used to manufacture SUS hexagonal bar. SUS hexagonal bar have been widely used to make hexagonal bolt/nut, adapter and fittings and so on. The purpose of this study is to investigate the stabilities for guide bar of clamp in drawing process system. As the results, the guide bar showed structural stability in cases of below load of 50 Ton and over hook radius of 3.0mm. Further as the thickness of guide bar hooking with jaw was increased, minimum safety factor was decreased.

  • 본 논문에서는 사고나 계획정전 등으로 인한 건전 정전구간에 신속하게 전원을 공급하는 방안을 제시하였다. 제시한 부하복구방안은 연계개폐기로부터 공급피더 방향으로 계통을 역방향으로 탐색하고 탐색시 저장된 경로와의 조합을 이용하여 구해짐으로써 계통의 탐색공간이 대폭 줄어들게 되어 신속한 복구방안의 제시가 가능하다. 또한 공급 여유량을 미리 확보하는 2단계의 부하복구, 모든 구간에 대한 복구가 불가능한 경우 부하를 차단하는 방안 등이 포함되어 있으므로 광역정전이나 다중사고 및 중요수용가를 고려한 부하복구, 배전자동화시스템과 연계된 부하 복구에도 이용할 수 있다.

  • This paper concerns the structural characteristic analysis and evaluation on the hydrostatic guide way and feeding system of a high precision centerless grinder for machining ferrules. In order to realize the required accuracy of ferrules with sub-micron order, the axial stiffness and motion accuracy of feeding system have to become higher level than those of existing centerless grinders. Under these points of view, the physical prototype of feeding system consisted of steel bed, hydrostatic guide way and ballscrew feeding mechanism is designed and manufactured for trial. Experimental results show that the axial and vertical stiffnesses of the physical prototype are very low as compared with those design values. In this paper, to reveal the cause of these stiffness difference, the structural deformations on the virtual prototype of feeding system are analyzed based on the finite element method under experimental conditions. The simulated results illustrate that the deformation of front ballscrew support-bearing bracket is the main cause of reduction in the axial stiffness of feeding system, and the deflection of bed structure and the bending deformation of hydrostatic guide rails are the main causes of reduction in the vertical stiffness of feeding system.

축계 진동 저감을 위한 수직형 안내 베어링의 최적 설계 (An Optimal Design of a Vertical Guide Bearing for Vibration Reduction)

  • This paper describes an optimal design technology in a segment type vertical guide bearing for vertical rotating machinery. Segment type vertical guide bearings have widely used for vertical rotating machinery, however bearing problems, such as excessive vibration and temperature rise, frequently take place in the actual machine. Such excessive vibration magnitude and/or abnormal bearing metal temperature rise result in serious damage and economic losses. Thus the segment type vertical guide bearing should be designed to get optimal characteristics in order to maintain stable operation without bearing failure due to abnormal vibration and/or abnormal bearing metal temperature. The preload ratio is the most important parameter in designing the segment type vertical guide bearing. Because adjustment of the bearing preload by changing the bearing clearance could easily control both the bearing stiffness and the cooling effect. In the paper, the influence of the preload effects on the bearing metal temperature and the bearing stiffness has been investigated both theoretically and experimentally in order to find out an optimum preload ratio. Results show that the segment type vertical guide bearing has an optimum preload ratio at which the bearing stiffness reaches a masimum value while the bearing metal temperature is minimized.
