항만하역근로자의 직무 스트레스와 자아탄력성이 직무 스트레스 회복경험에 미치는 영향 (The Impacts of Job Stress and Ego-resilience on Recovery Experience from Job Stress in the Container Terminal Workers)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the factors affecting container terminal worker's recovery experience from job stress. Methods: The subjects were 299 workers from one S dock in P city. Data were collected from April 5 to June 5, 2015 and analyzed by SPSS/WIN 18.0 program using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, $Sheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and logistic regression. Results: The mean scores of job stress, ego-resilience, and recovery experience from job stress were 47.18, 46.90, and 49.17 respectively. Recovery experience according to the general characteristics showed significant correlation between daily exercise. There was a significant negative correlation between recovery experience and job stress, and a positive correlation between recovery experience and ego-resilience. Recovery experience was 2.54 times higher for a high ego-resilience group than for a low ego-resilience group, and the group that exercised was 2.25 times higher, than the non-exercising group. The group with a low level of interpersonal conflict was 1.97 times higher, than a group with a high level of interpersonal conflict. Conclusion: Based on this study, intervention programs to increase ego-resilience, decrease interpersonal conflict, and encourage over 30-minute-daily exercise for in container terminal workers should be developed to improve recovery experience of job stress.

인지갈등을 통한 개념수업 절차 모형의 적용 (Application of the Cognitive Conflict Process Model to Middle School Science Course)

  • 과학교육학이라는 학문에서 주장하는 이론은 반드시 수업 현장의 실제와 연결되어야만 비로소 이론은 이론대로 수업 효과는 효과대로 제 기능을 다 할 것이다. 그 대표적인 예가 수업모형 연구이다. 본 연구에서는 과학 개념변화 수업모형 중에서, 오개념 교정에 필요한 인지 갈등 전략을 기본으로 만들어진 개념수업 절차 모형(권재술, 1989)을 현장에 적용해 보았다. 특히 교사 연수에서 효과 검사에 이르기까지 모형의 투입 전후에 일어나는 여러 제반사항들도 함께 기술하여 그로부터 알게 된 여러 문제점과 효율적인 적용 방안을 알아보았다. 수업의 효과면은, 비교반과 실험반의 수업 전 후 개념검사와 태도검사 점수, 그리고 학교교육과정상 실시되는 전형적인 월례고사 개념성취도 점수를 비교해 보았으며, 수업의 적용면은 수업 준비와 적용 과정에서 교사와 학생의 의견을 조사하였다. 그 결과, 학생에게 적절한 갈등 자료인 $R_2$의 준비가 가장 어려웠으며, 교사에게는 허용적인 수업분위기 유도와 발문 전략 활용의 교수 기술이, 학생에게는 발표 및 토론 훈련이 필요함을 확인할 수 있었다.

An Analysis of Individual and Social Factors Affecting Occupational Accidents

  • Background: Workforce health is one of the primary and most challenging issues, particularly in industrialized countries. This article aims at modeling the major factors affecting accidents in the workplace, including general health, work-family conflict, effort-reward imbalance, and internal and external locus of control. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in Esfahan Steel Company in Iran. A total of 450 participants were divided into two groups-control and case-and the questionnaires were distributed among them. Data were collected through a 7-part questionnaire. Finally, the results were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and Amos software. Results: All the studied variables had a significant relationship with the accident proneness. In the case group, general health with a coefficient of -0.37, worke-family conflict with 0.10, effort-reward imbalance with 0.10, internal locus of control with -0.07, and external locus of control with 0.40 had a direct effect on occupational stress. Occupational stress also had a positive direct effect on accident proneness with a coefficient of 0.47. In addition, fitness indices of control group showed general health (-0.35), worke-family conflict (0.36), effort-reward imbalance (0.13), internal locus of control (-0.15), and external locus of control (0.12) have a direct effect on occupational stress. Besides, occupational stress with a coefficient of 0.09 had a direct effect on accident proneness. Conclusion: It can be concluded that although previous studies and the present study showed the effect of stress on accident and accident proneness, some hidden and external factors such as work-family conflict, effort-reward imbalance, and external locus of control that affect stress should also be considered. It helps industries face less occupational stress and, consequently, less occurrence rates of accidents.

당파적 편향에 따른 책임 귀속: 여야간 갈등인식과 정당 호감도를 중심으로 (How perceptions of inter-party conflict influence partisan affect: The moderating role of party identification)

  • 이 연구는 민주주의 사회에 상존하는 갈등이 양극화로 이어지는 과정을 미시적으로 검토하는 작업이다. 구체적으로 유권자들의 갈등인식과 정당에 대한 호감도 간의 관계를 규명하고자 한다. 특히, 이 관계를 결정하는 데에 유권자의 정당일체감이 주는 효과에 주목한다. 유권자들이 정파성을 띠지 않는 경우에는 여야간 갈등인식이 반드시 정당에 대한 반감으로 이어지지 않지만, 유권자들이 정파성을 띠고 있는 상황에서는 갈등인식이 상대방 정당에 대한 반감으로 이어질 것이라는 가설을 2014년 지방선거 맥락에서 구축된 설문자료를 분석하여 검증한다. 분석 결과, 정당일체감이 강한 유권자들은 갈등이 심각하다고 느낄수록 상대방 정당에 대해 부정적인 감정을 가질 뿐만 아니라, 자신이 지지하는 정당과 지지하지 않는 정당 간의 상대적 호감도에도 유의미한 차이를 보임을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 연구는 이념적으로 양극화된 정치 환경에서 정당 간 갈등이 기존 정당에 대한 반감으로 이어져 양극화를 더욱 강화시키는 메커니즘을 이해하는 데에 도움을 준다.

서울 및 경기지역 종합병원에서 간호직의 조직갈등 경험이 노조몰입에 미치는 영향 (Organization Conflict and Affecting Factors on Labor Union Commitment among Nurses in Seoul and Gyeing-Gi Province Hospitals)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze affecting factors on labor union commitment among nurses in two general hospitals. The subjects of this study were 282 nurses in one university hospital in Seoul and one general hospital in Gyeong-Gi province from April 20 to May 9, 2008 through survey questionnaires. The main results of this study were as follow: First, labor union commitment level among nurses was increased as 30 years old and lower job position. Second, organization conflict level among nurses did not statistical differ significantly regarding age, education level, wedding, job year, job position, and labor manager. Third, correlation between labor union commitment level and other variables as follow. It was increased as age, education level, job year, job position, organization conflict level but not statistical difference significantly. Finally, from the results of multiple regression analysis to identify major affecting factors of labor union commitment level, it depends on low education level, high conflict between individual and group but not significantly. Therefore, new research was required regarding organization culture and commitment.

수도권 소재 일부 대학병원 일반직 근로자의 노조몰입과 조직갈등의 경험에 관한 연구 (Organization Conflict and Affecting Factors on Labor Union Commitment among University Hospital Employees in Seoul and Gyeong-Gi Province)

  • The aims of this study were to analyze affecting factors on labor union commitment among university hospital employees and provide basic data in two general hospitals. The subjects of this study were 357 hospital employees in one university hospital in Seoul and the other university hospital in Gyeong-Gi province from May 21 to June 10, 2010 through survey questionnaires. The main results of this study were as follow : First, labor union commitment level among subjects was increased as 40 years old, lower educational level, lower job position and union leader. Second, organization conflict level among subjects did not statistical differ significantly regarding age, education level, wedding, and job position, but job year. Third, correlation between labor union commitment level and organizational conflict increased. Finally, from the results of multiple regression analysis to identify major affecting factors of labor union commitment level, it depends on lower educational level, high conflict, and union leader between individual and group but not significantly. Therefore, it was necessary to continued to be supported for labor union. New research was required regarding organization culture and commitment.

중환자실 간호사를 위한 자기주장훈련의 효과 (Effects of Assertiveness Training for ICU Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was done to examine the effects of assertiveness training on Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurses' assertive behavior, job stress, communication conflict, and self-esteem toward improving their communication skills and coping. Methods: The assertiveness training program was developed to a 10-hour program consisting of 3 sessions. The goals were to understand assertive behavior and learn how to practice assertive communication in general conflict situations and/or a difficult conflict situation in the ICU. Participants were 65 nurses recruited from a tertiary teaching hospital and of these, 27 nurses completed the program. Data were collected from Jan. 30th to Mar. 28th, 2009 using a questionnaire which included demographic characteristics, assertive behaviour scale, job stress scale, communication conflict inventory-specific, and self-esteem scale. Data were analyzed using SPSS v. 14.0 for $x^2$ test and t-test. Results: ICU nurses in the experimental group had a significant increase in aspects of assertive behavior and a decrease in job stress. Conclusion: The results of the study indicate that assertiveness training is effective in increasing ICU nurses' assertive behavior and decreasing job stress through reinforcement of assertiveness behavior.

말리 내 정세분석을 통해 보는 사헬지대 테러집단 활동 양상과 시사점 (The Aspects and Prospects of Terrorist Group Activities in the Sahel Area through the Changes in the Situation in Mali)

  • 연구목적: 지난 10년간 말리 내전이 어떻게 진행되었는지 분석해봄으로써 사헬 지대 내 테러집단의 활동 양상을 예측해보고 시사점을 도출해보고자 한다. 연구방법:기존 사헬 지대와 테러 양상에 대한 연구와 더불어 프랑스어권 언론을 통해 진행 경과를 파악했다. 연구결과: 민족 갈등의 심화, 이슬람 극단주의의 확산 그리고 군사 쿠데타의 지속성 등 복합적인 요인으로 인해 말리는 내전이 지속되고 있음을 알수 있다. 결론: 프랑스의 철수와 러시아의 개입 등 국제사회의 영향력이 약화되고 있는 현 상황에서 말리 내전이 장기화될 수 있음을 시사한다.

영아반 복수담임의 갈등수준에 따른 갈등관리방법과 직무만족도 (The Study on Conflict Management Methods and Job Satisfaction of Conflict Level in Team Teaching Nursery Teachers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 영아반 복수담임의 갈등정도를 알아보고 갈등수준에 따른 갈등관리방법과 직무만족도의 차이를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 영아반 복수담임 241명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 도구는 김송은(2013)이 구성한 갈등측정 척도, 김재숙(2016)이 구성한 갈등관리방법 척도, 조성연 등(2011)이 제작한 한국형 보육교사 직무만족척도를 사용하였다. 자료분석을 위하여 SPSS WIN18.0프로그램을 사용하여 연구문제에 따라 빈도와 백분율, 일원변량분석, Scheffe 검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 영아반 복수담임의 갈등수준에 따른 갈등관리방법은 '통합'과 '회피'의 유형에서 집단 간 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 즉 갈등이 낮은 '저' 집단이 '통합'의 방법을 갈등이 높은 '고'집단이 '회피'의 방법을 많이 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 영아반 복수담임의 갈등수준에 따른 직무만족도는 '원장의 운영 방법 및 태도', '사회적 인식 및 처우', '보육환경과 복지', '보육업무', '동료교사와의 관계', '부모와의 관계' 전체에서 집단 간 유의한 차이를 보여 갈등이 낮은 '저'집단이 '중'집단이나 '고'집단보다 직무만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 기초로 하여 보다 효율적인 영아반 복수담임 운영에 대하여 논의하였다.

An Empirical Study of IT-based faultlines in Chinese Corporations

  • Since Lau and Murnighan first introduced the concept of faultlines in 1998, there are many extended studies related to faultlines theory. It is obvious that faultlines theory adds valuable explanations in addition to what numerous previous demographic studies have explored. However, previous research has not been able to fully integrate the characteristics embedded in the workplace environments, and the influence of faultlines in IT industries has yet to be explored. So it is not reasonable and convincing to extend the findings from previous faultlines research to other industries in the global world. In this study, IT related influence is given considerable weight into traditional faultlines theory and the impact of IT-based faultlines is revealed. Our study indicates that IT-based faultlines have negative impact on task conflict, process conflict and relationship conflict, and also have negative impact on individual outcomes such as individual performance and satisfaction. The influence of IT-based faultlines on people s intend to remain in the current organization is found to be insignificant. Our empirical study reconfirmed that faultlines are important indicator in group works and also that faultlines are intimately related to various conflicts and individual outcomes. We hope our research findings would be beneficial to the organizations concerned with effective and efficient group work.
