스프레이 기술을 이용한 세라믹 표면 코팅에 대한 황화코발트 첨가량의 영향 (Effect of cobalt sulfate contents on the ceramic surface coating using spray technique)

  • 본 연구는 코발트 코팅 두께에 따른 점토 표면과의 반응성을 연구하였다. 시편에서 표면으로 부터 일정한 두께로 코발트가 확산된 것을 볼 수가 있으며, 황화코발트의 도포양과 함께 청자토보다 백자토에서 확산층의 두께가 증가하였다. 백자토에 코팅된 시편은 grayish blue가 blue 색으로 변화되는 것을 알 수 있으며 $L^*$값이 51.78에서 37.61로 감소하고, 청자토에 코팅된 시편인 경우 dark olive gray에서 dark gray색으로 $L^*$값이 53.91에서 38.93로 적어지는 것을 알 수가 있다. 시편의 물성 평가는 XRD, SEM, 열팽창기, TG-DTA, UV-vis spectrophotometer와 HRDPM을 이용하였다.

Quality Evaluation of Ultrasonographic Equipment Using an ATS-539 Multipurpose Phantom in Veterinary Medicine

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the status of quality control using multipurpose phantom of ultrasound equipment used in hospital of veterinary college in South Korea by using ATS-539 multipurpose phantom so as to examine quantitative and objective new image evaluation method. Specialists discussed and analyzed multipurpose phantom images acquired by using convex transducer of 10 ultrasound imaging devices, currently used in 9 veterinary colleges, at 4.0-6.0 MHz. Total 8 items that can be measured with ATS-539 multipurpose phantom including dead zone, vertical and horizontal measurement, axial/lateral resolution, sensitivity, focal zone, functional resolution and gray scale/dynamic range were evaluated. For qualitative evaluation, valid decisions were made based on dead zone, axial/lateral resolution, and gray scale/dynamic range which are resolution index, and coefficient of variation (COV) and blind referenceless image spatial quality evaluator (BRISQUE) were found to increase objectivity. As a result of experiment, all the targeted ultrasonic devices were found appropriate from qualitative evaluation items of dead zone, axial/lateral resolution, and gray scale/dynamic range. In other evaluation items, they were found to be appropriate from focal zone and vertical measurement of quantitative evaluation while inappropriate from horizontal measurement, sensitivity, and functional resolution. COV value was 0.12 ± 0.04, and BRISQUE value was 47.77 ± 2.77, both analysis results show that the noise level of all ultrasonic devices was located within tolerance range. Upon image examination using ATS-539 multipurpose phantom, they were 100% appropriate with inspection standards of dead zone, axial/lateral resolution, and gray scale/dynamic range, and besides, focal zone and functional resolution can be used as evaluation items. In the field of veterinary medicine, 8 standard items using ATS-539 multipurpose phantom and image evaluation items using COV and BRISQUE can be used as standards for quality control of ultrasonography machine.

패턴인식을 이용한 초음파 화상의 진단 (Ultrasonic image diagnosis using pattern recognition)

  • A new approach to texture classification for ultrasound liver diagnosis using run difference matrix was developed. The run difference matrix consists of the gray level difference along with distance. From this run difference matrix, we defined several parameters such as LDE, LDEL, NUF, SMO, SMG, SHP etc. and three vectors namely DOD, DGD and DAD. Each parameter value calculated in fatty cirrhotic, chronic hepatitic and normal liver mage was plotted in two dimensional plane. We compared our results with run length method. There are several advantages of run difference matrix method over the run lengths. 1) It is more sensitive to small difference of gray level distribution. 2) The parameters provide more statistically significant value. Images were classified with the extracted parameters to each diseases using neural networks. In preliminary clinical exprements, this approach showed satisfying results.

최대 자기 상관값이 3인 4진 수열 (Quaternary Sequence with Maximum Autocorrelation of 3)

  • 본 논문에서는 우수한 상관값을 갖는 새로운 4진 수열의 생성법을 제안한다. 새로운 4진 수열은 이상적인 자기상관 특성을 갖는 이진 수열과 역 Gray 사상을 이용하여 생성하며 0이 아닌 위상차에서 갖는 자기 상관 값의 최대 크기는 3이다. 새로운 4진 수열은 2진 수열의 형태에 하나의 허수부를 갖는 근사 이진 수열의 형태를 가지므로 균형성이 크게 어긋나나 문자열의 합은 0에 매우 근사한 형태를 갖는다.

Discriminatory Projection of Camouflaged Texture Through Line Masks

  • The blending of defective texture with the ambience texture results in camouflage. The gray value or color distribution pattern of the camouflaged images fails to reflect considerable deviations between the camouflaged object and the sublimating background demands improved strategies for texture analysis. In this research, we propose the implementation of an initial enhancement of the image that employs line masks, which could result in a better discrimination of the camouflaged portion. Finally, the gray value distribution patterns are analyzed in the enhanced image, to fix the camouflaged portions.

  • Image matching is fundamental process to identify conjugate points on the stereo images. However, standard methods or general solutions for matching problem have not been found yet, in spite of long history. Quality of the matching basically depends on uniqueness of the matching entity and robustness of the algorithm. In this study, conjugate points were extracted by implementing interest operator, then area based matching method was applied to the topographical characteristics of the gray value as the matching entities. The matching entities were utilized based on the concept of the intrinsic image.

Entropic Image Thresholding Segmentation Based on Gabor Histogram

  • Image thresholding techniques introducing spatial information are widely used image segmentation. Some methods are used to calculate the optimal threshold by building a specific histogram with different parameters, such as gray value of pixel, average gray value and gradient-magnitude, etc. However, these methods still have some limitations. In this paper, an entropic thresholding method based on Gabor histogram (a new 2D histogram constructed by using Gabor filter) is applied to image segmentation, which can distinguish foreground/background, edge and noise of image effectively. Comparing with some methods, including 2D-KSW, GLSC-KSW, 2D-D-KSW and GLGM-KSW, the proposed method, tested on 10 realistic images for segmentation, presents a higher effectiveness and robustness.

전기밥솥 FCT 검사 자동화 System의 검사 신뢰성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on Inspection Reliability Evaluation of Electric Rice Cooker FCT Inspection Automation System)

  • This study has focused on the reliability evaluation of FCT inspection automation equipment for electric rice. To evaluate the reliability of FCT inspection automation equipment, voice analysis, Gray/R/G/B channel experiment, FND segment experiment, and robot position repeatability were performed. In the voice analysis experiment, the comparison value between the recorded and digital output waves was over 99%, indicating a very high result. It was confirmed that both the gray/R/G/B experiment using vision and the FND segment could confirm the output value of the product through vision. The position repeatability of the robot is also excellent, so it is concluded that the inspection effect through the FCT automation system will be excellent.

Enhancement of Biological Control of Botrytis cinerea on Cucumber by Foliar Sprays and Bed Potting Mixes of Trichoderma harzianum YC459 and Its Application on Tomato in the Greenhouse

  • Trichoderma harzianum YC459 (Th 459), isolated from sawdust compost, was effective in controlling cucumber and tomato gray mold caused by Botrytis cinerea under controlled and plastic film tunnel conditions. A water suspension of the wettable powder formulation of Th 459 significantly $(P\leq0.05)$ reduced the severity of cucumber gray mold by foliar spraying at all tested concentrations from $10^5\;to\;10^8$ colony forming unit (cfu)/ml in repeated experiments. The control efficacy was maintained at least seven days with the average control value of 70% in cucumber pot tests. Mixing one to eight grams of the granular formulation ($10^8cfu/g$ dry weight) of Th 459 into one liter nursery potting mix at seeding also significantly $(P\leq0.05)$ reduced the severity of cucumber gray mold by suppression of lesion formation three weeks after treatment. Application of mixing granular formulation at seeding in combination with foliar spraying during cultivation provided a more significant reduction $(P\leq0.05)$ of cucumber gray mold than granule mixing or leaf spray alone. The foliar spraying of the formulated wettable powder of Th 459 significantly $(P\leq0.05)$ reduced the infection of tomato fruits by B. cinerea as effective as the chemical fungicide, dichlofluanid, in three plastic film tunnel experiment trials. It is suggested that effective control of gray mold of cucumber and tomato can be provided by both treatment of Th 459 into potting mix and foliar spray through induction of systemic resistance and direct inhibition of the pathogen.

  • 본 연구에서는 무한 원형관 안의 복사에 참여하는 참여가스에 면을 도입시키 면, 참여가스로부터 원형관 벽면으로의 복사 열유속(radiatve heat flux)이 증진 또는 감소되는 현상을 연구하는 데 있다. 참여가스는 흡수, 방사 특성이 온도와 파장에 변하지 않는 회체가스(gray gas)이거나, 화석 연료 연소시 연소가스의 성분이며, 복사 에 참여하는, 수증기와 이산화탄소의 혼합물이다. 편의상, 이 가스를 실제가스(real gas)라 부르기로 한다.도입면은 동축 무한 원형관(coaxial Infinite cylinder)이다. 참여가스의 성분, 계의 직경, 동축 무한 원형관 사이의 직경비, 면의 방사율, 면과 가 스의 온도가 열전달 증진에 미치는 영향을 연구하고자 한다.
