LaVIEW를 이용한 휴대용 3상 소형유도전동기 회전자 바 고장 진단 시스템 개발 (The Development of Portable Rotor Bar Fault Diagnosis System for Three Phase Small Induction Motors Using LabVIEW)

  • In this paper, a portable rotor bar fault diagnosis system for small 3 phase induction motors is suggested. For portable real-tine diagnosis system, an USB-DAQ board for collecting the 3 phase current data, three current probes, and a notebook computer are used. The LabVIEW graphical language is used for filtering, analysis, storing, and monitoring the current data. The three phase stator current are filtered and transformed to frequency level by FIT. An analysis window programed by LabVIEW is located in front panel to show the FIT results and this suggested window has a zooming function to detect the fault feature more easily near the feature frequency range which is varying by the slip frequency. To show the possibility of portable rotor bar diagnosis system, three types(healthy, one rotor bar fault, two rotor bar fault) of rotor bar are intentionally prepared and compared by the suggested window of front panel. Experimental results are shown that a suggested diagnosis system is applicable to portable diagnosis system and the rotor bar fault is detected by the frequency window in front panel programed in LabVIEW graphical language.

Improvement of the Reliability Graph with General Gates to Analyze the Reliability of Dynamic Systems That Have Various Operation Modes

  • The safety of nuclear power plants is analyzed by a probabilistic risk assessment, and the fault tree analysis is the most widely used method for a risk assessment with the event tree analysis. One of the well-known disadvantages of the fault tree is that drawing a fault tree for a complex system is a very cumbersome task. Thus, several graphical modeling methods have been proposed for the convenient and intuitive modeling of complex systems. In this paper, the reliability graph with general gates (RGGG) method, one of the intuitive graphical modeling methods based on Bayesian networks, is improved for the reliability analyses of dynamic systems that have various operation modes with time. A reliability matrix is proposed and it is explained how to utilize the reliability matrix in the RGGG for various cases of operation mode changes. The proposed RGGG with a reliability matrix provides a convenient and intuitive modeling of various operation modes of complex systems, and can also be utilized with dynamic nodes that analyze the failure sequences of subcomponents. The combinatorial use of a reliability matrix with dynamic nodes is illustrated through an application to a shutdown cooling system in a nuclear power plant.

  • 본 논문에서는 프레스공정라인에서 발생하는 고장을 감지하고 분류하기 위한 고장진단기법을 제안한다. 또한 윤활유 레벨을 자동감지 하기 위한 방법도 제안하다. 제안한 방법에서는 FFT 주파수해석과 여러 경계인수를 갖는 ART2 신경회로망을 사용하며, LabVIEW를 이용하여 고장진단 및 윤활유 레벨 자동감시를 위한 GUI(Graphical User Interface) 프로그램을 제작하여 고장진단을 수행하였다. 실험결과들로부터 제안한 유도전동기 고장진단 및 윤활유 레벨 자동감시시스템의 성능을 확인하였다.

KATSTIC SINKHOLE SEDIMENTS OF DOLOSTONE IN THE UPPER MIDWEST'S DRIFTLESS AREA, USA

  • Analysis of one sinkhole, the Dodgeville sinkhole, developed in Ordovician dolostones in the Driftless Area of Wisconsin in the Upper Midwest'd Driftless Area reveals homogenous clayey sediment fills reflecting a range of dissolutional processes during the Quaternary or Pre-Quaternary. Granulometric analysis, graphical moments statistics, carbonate minerals, ana sand grain lithology were used to differentiate sinkhole sediment sources and modes of accumulation. Sediments in the dolostone sinkholes developed by dissolution. Sediments contain two major types of sediments : residual redish clay( autogenic sediments) and aeolian silt (allogenic sediments). The massive clay is generated from the weathered dolostone bedrocks as a in situ materials. The loessial silt is mostly derived from transportation of the surrounding surface materials, with some evidences of penetrated deposition. Unlike the collapsed sandstone sinkholes (Oh et al., 1993), dolostone sinkholes reveal homogenous, autogenic clay materials, and a geochemical composition indicative of in situ autogenic karstification. Dolostone sinkhole si1ts (26.9%) and sands (34.9%) are derived from weathered Plattevi1le-Galena dolostones, and contain high carbonate(37.5%), chert (57.2%) and lead ore (3%). Graphical moments statistics for sorting, skewness, and kurtosis indicate that sand grains from dolostones were derived entirely from local bedrock by in situ dissolution. Upper sinkhole sediments are pedagogically very young as carbonate is unleashed. Materials of the sinkhole sediment are definitely inherited from internal dolostones by dissolution and weathering, because not only a granulomatric comparison of dolostone and sandstone sediments demonstrates that they have heterogeneous paticle size distributions, but also 1ithologic analyses displays they differ completely.

  • 자료포락분석(DEA)은 다수의 투입요소와 산출요소에 대하여 의사결정단위의 효율성을 측정하는 비모수적인 선형계획방법으로, 회사, 은행, 병원, 국가나 조직의 효율성이나 성과를 비교하는데 폭넓게 사용되고 있다. 그런데 DEA는 효율성이 1인 DMU들이 다수 있을 때 어느 DMU가 더 나은지에 대한 순위는 제공해 주지 않는다. 본 연구에서는 이런 문제를 기존의 방법에 비하여 손쉽게 해결할 수 있는 방법으로 질적(덴드로그램과 같은 graphical 접근법) 양적(초효율성 분석) 통합방법을 제안하고, 한국프로야구 자료를 이용하여 실증분석 해보았다. 그 결과 DEA를 통해서는 우선순위를 파악하기 어려운 DMU들이 12개나 되었는데, 초효율성 분석을 이용함으로써 이러한 문제를 해결할 수 있었다. 더불어 덴드로그램과 초효율성 분석 결과를 통합하여 질적 양적으로 조망해 봄으로써 더욱 심도 있는 해석이 가능함을 알 수 있었다.

독립성분 행렬도 (Independent Component Biplot)

  • 행렬도(biplot)는 이원표 자료행렬(two-way data matrix)의 행과 열을 한 그림에 동시에 나타내는 탐색적 방법으로, 복잡한 다변량 분석 결과를 보다 쉽게 파악할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 특히 주성분인자 행렬도(principal component factor biplot; PCFB)는 인자분석을 통해서 변수들 간의 상호의존 구조를 탐색하기 위한 시각적 도구이다. 자료에 따라 잠재된 변수들이 독립(independent)이고 비가우시안(non-Gaussian) 분포를 가진다는 사전 정보가 있을 때, Jutten과 Herault (1991)가 제안한 독립성분분석(independent component analysis)을 이용한다. 이 경우 주성분법을 이용한 인자분석을 적용하면 원래 변수들의 상호 관계를 잘못 해석할 수도 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 자료에 따라 잠재된 변수들이 독립이고 비가우시안 분포를 가진다는 사전 정보가 있을 때, 독립성분분석을 응용하여 원래 변수들 간의 상호 관계를 기하학적으로 살펴볼 수 있는 시각적 도구인 독립성분 행렬도(independent component biplot; ICB)를 제안하려 한다.

  • In this paper, the problems on Windows application for finite element structural analysis softwares are presented. These Windows application programs provide the better graphical representation of structural geometry through the GUI, and provide the integrated environment for managing various processors such as a preprocessor and a postprocessor. Two examples show the efficiency of this system which can represent various inputs and outputs concurrently on multi-windows by dialog-type.

  • The purpose of this paper is to suggest the problems of basic population data(1960-2005) and the data(2006-2050) of population projections reported by Korean National Statistical Office in November 2006. The errors on the basic population data can be easily checked by using the graphical analysis and the method of linear regression analysis. It is necessary to revise the population projections reported by Korean National Statistical Office.

  • The study of fractal hedgehogs is a recent development in the ambit of fractal theory and nonlinear analysis. The intent of this paper is to present a study of fractal hedgehogs along with some of their special constructions. The main result is a new fractal hedgehog theorem. As a consequence, a fractal projective hedgehog theorem of Martinez-Maure is obtained as a special case, and several fractal hedgehogs and similar images are discussed.

  • The analysis of large data sets with hundreds of thousands observations and thousands of independent variables is a formidable computational task. A less parametric method, capable of identifying important independent variables and their interactions, is a tree structured approach to regression and classification. It gives a graphical and often illuminating way of looking at data in classification and regression problems. In this paper, we have reviewed and summarized tile methodology used to construct a tree, multiple trees and the sequential strategy for identifying active compounds in large chemical databases.
