The co-immobilization of Aspergillus niger glucose oxidase (GOD) with bovine liver catalase (CAT) onto florisil (magnesium silicate-based porous carrier) was investigated to improve the catalytic efficiency of GOD against $H_2O2$ inactivation. The effect of the amount of bound CAT on the GOD activity was also studied for 12 different initial combinations of GOD and CAT, using simultaneous and sequential coupling. The sequentially co-immobilized GOD-CAT showed a higher efficiency than the simultaneously co-immobilized GOD-CAT in terms of the GOD activity and economic costs. The highest activity was shown by the sequentially co-immobilized GOD-CAT when the initial amounts of GOD and CAT were 10 mg and 5 mg per gram of carrier. The optimum pH, buffer concentration, and temperature for GOD activity for the same co-immobilized GOD-CAT sample were then determined as pH 6.5, 50 mM, and $30^{\circ}C$, respectively. When compared with the individually immobilized GOD, the catalytic activity of the co-immobilized GOD-CAT was 70% higher, plus the reusability was more than two-fold. The storage stability of the co-immobilized GOD-CAT was also found to be higher than that of the free form at both $5^{\circ}C\;and\;25^{\circ}C$. The increased GOD activity and reusability resulting from the co-immobilization process may have been due to CAT protecting GOD from inactivation by $H_2O2$ and supplying additional $O_2$ to the reaction system.

The overproduction and high level secretion of Glucose Oxidase (GOD) from A. niger in S. cerevisiae was carried out by cloning GOD gene. For this purpose, using two different strong promoters (ADH1 promoter, GAL10 promoter) and signal sequences (${alpha}$-MF signal sequence of S. cerevisiae and ${alpha}$-amylase signal sequence of A. oryzae) and GAL7- and GOD terminator, four expression vectors were constructed. All the expression vectors were transformed in S. cerevisiae 2805 using auxotroph method. By the flask culture, transformants of pGAL expression vector series containing GAL 10 promotor showed much higher GOD productivity than transformants of pADH expression vector series containing ADH1 promoter Transformants of pGALGO2 containing GAL10 promotor and ${alpha}$-amylase signal sequence has shown the best productivity of GOD ($GOD_{total}$: 10.3 unit/mL, $GOD_{ex}$: 8.7 unit/mL) at 115 hr. This value was three fold higher than that of pGALGO1 containing GAL 10 promotor and ${alpha}$-MF signal sequence, even if the same promotor was involved. Through the ${alpha}$-amylase signal sequence of A. oryzae, GOD was secreted much more than the case of ${alpha}$-MF signal sequence from S. cerevisiae. These results suggest that signal sequence may play a important roles in not only the secretion but also the overproduction of foreign protein. Secretion rate of GOD in pGALGO1 and pGALGO2 was 89% and 84%, respectively, Because of the overglycosylation in S. cerevisiae the molecular weight of recombinant GOD in S. cerevisiae was much larger (250 kDa) than that of nature GOD in A. niger (170 kDa).

The on-line monitoring technique for the concentrations fo glucose and starch by FIA(Flow Injection Analysis)system was studied. Glucose oxidase(GOD) and amyloglucosidase(AMG) were immboilized on VA-Fpoxy carrier and integrated into the FLA system. The pH, buffer flow rate and temperature were optimized and the effects of salts and metabolites dissolved in the sample on the activity of immobilized enzyme were investigated. GOD-FIA and AMG/GOD-FIA were applied for the on-line monitoring of the glucose and starch in a simulated bioprocess. The on-line measurements of glucose concentrations by GOD-FIA agreed with off-line data well and the AMG/GOD-FIA with single cartidge system took and advantage over the FIA system with two separated cartridges for the on-line monitoring of starch concentrations.

GOD electrochemically immobilized in PPy/GOD complex have an effect on redox properties of the complex. In the cyclicvoltammetry, GOD shows the redox reaction at the potential below -0.6Y vs. Ag/AgCI. That leads to new peaks in the cyclicvoltammograms in additional to typical PPy peaks. The pH of electrolyte solution during potential swing decreased to 4.4, and then increased to 10. That suggests the redox of GOD for the cycling. As the concentration of GOD was increased, the anodic wave of the new peaks was strong as much as increased. GOD obstructs the diffusion of electrolyte anion because of its net chain. Insulating property of GOD is cause that it made the faradic impedance of complex large in charge transfer. It suggests that increase of the concentration of GOD be against electrochemical coupling. Therefore, the concentration of GOD and electrochemical coupling should be dealt with each other. The apparent Michaelis-lenten constant ( K\`$_{M}$ ) was determined by 30.7 mmol d $m^{-3}$ fur the PPy/GOD complex. The value is of the same order of magnitude as that for soluble glucose oxidase from Aspergillus Niger.r.

And Thomas Aquinas said that man can have a creative power only with modest mental state void of prejudice saying that he expected God to come to him after his soul went out of him. The same thing was said by so many great philosophers and thinkers other than him. I think his saying, "God comes after Soul's escape from the body for a new creation", has a real truth for all times and places and beauty itself beyond expression. Why\ulcorner The reason why the saying is so true is because it has a Yin and Yang Idea, that is, the Soul means a dark spirit correspondent to Yin between both oriental ideas and God does a bright spirit correspondent to Yang between them. By reason of this idea, I would like to assert that we should take it granted that we stand in need of the same bright Yang's spirit as God has for the new creation, and let the Yang's bright spirit come to our minds. We can call it divine 'Providence', or call it God's guidance, which we cannot help accepting as a man's fatality. As God was pleased after he made man and all the creatures by dint of his design, so man was pleased after he made everything he needed by the same design that he accepted from God. In spite of pleasure of different dimensions from what God and Man has each other, their way of empathies were all the same. In this paper I compared a worldly lower conception by which man designed his products for his sensuous satisfaction with a higher conception by which God designed his creatures for his mental satisfaction. I intended to infer what destined relation there must be between both God's and man's creations, trying to remind designers that they have to confess to have not so divine a providence as God has for creation because I think the real truth is that they had regarded their works of product design as a routine occurrence for their physical convenience in the industrial plans.ial plans.

This research on the house folklore in China, Korea, and Japan is focusing on a kitchen God that is common in these three countries. This god originated in China and has subsequently influenced Korea and Japan. Today, all three countries use the same name of this kitchen god which is called Youngwang(竈王) as its name has been spelled in Chinese. In China, this kitchen god has been believed in two different ways. The Han people have developed their belief in Youngwang while another creed has been originated from other ethnic groups. Because of the particular house style with upper stories of ethnic groups in the southern and southeast areas of China, a kitchen fireplace is centered in the house. Han people in China also worship painted depictions of kitchen gods. And the ethnic groups believe it has three stone legs for a fire box. These differing beliefs has bad influenced on Korea and Japan. The kitchen god of Cheju island (off the south Korea coast) is believed to be almost the same as among the ethnic groups in China Interestingly, form of belief in the kitchen god in Okinawa (off the south coast of Japan) is almost identical as in the southern area of China Custom in China. Korea, and Japan regarding the kitchen god symbolized family values healing, initiating a new daughter-in-law to reveging the kitchen god, etc. are all the very similar. A fireplace and its fire are very important and, have many taboo, attached. Existing rich tales of kitchen gods are similar in the three countries. Moreover, people in the three countries, think that the clay or time plaster of the fireplace with bring good luck on New Year's eve. However, Korea kitchen god features one thing that is different from those China and Japan, that is that water symbolizes the kitchen god in Korea. A painted kitchen god as they are popular in China, has influenced only some Buddhist temples in Korea.

But God gave Noah the green plants. Everything that lives and moves will be food for Noah. Just as God gave man the green plants. And then man must not eat meat (animal protein food) that has its lifeblood still in it and God must not eat fat in it. The fat contains much fat (saturated fatty acids) and cholesterol that have susceptibility to disease of coronary heart, hypertension and atheriosclerosis etc. God must not eat these fat before we don't know that It have susceptibility to disease of adult people.

The purpose of this study is to argue that religious maturity is necessary for the healthy life of the aged of Korean churches in the rapidly aging society. It is also to suggest educational method for the formation and development of a positive image of God for relations with God, which is essential factor in religious maturity. To this end, this study argues that the direction and task of senior education should be religious maturity through the search for prior research on church education of senior citizens. This study also looked at the variables involved in how religious maturity affects many areas of human life. To achieve the task of religious maturity, the biblical and theological concept of maturity and religious psychological concepts of maturity are summarized, and the concept of God's image for relations with God, which is important in religious maturity, and the variables related to mature human life are examined. This study was proposed methods of church education for the formation and development of a positive image of God in order to have the right relationship with God for the religious maturity of the elderly on intellectual, emotional and behavioral levels. In the intellectual aspect, it was proposed to educate the concept of biblical and theological God and and to educate the elderly to recognize themselves as beings that need to grow and mature in order to constantly establish relationships with God. In the affective aspect, it was proposed to educate the elderly to reflect on and identify the origin and formation process of God's image and to heal their distorted God's image with an educational counseling approach. In the behavioral aspect, it was suggested to educate their roles of faith education for the next generation as parents and grandparents and to educate using educational methods that induce them to practice their relationship with God to appear in daily life.

Flow-injection analysis (FIA) for on-line monitoring of glucose and acetate are described and employed in E.coli fermentation process. Glucose oxidase (GOD) for the detection of glucose is immobilized on epoxy polymer support, which is packed in a small cartirdge, and applied to a GOD-FIA system. The detection of acetate is based on the inhibition of acetate to the oxidation of sarcosine by sarcosine oxidase (SOD). SOD is also immobilized on epoxy polymer support and used for a SOD-FIA system. GOD-FIA system is characterized as well as SOD-FIA system by the investigation of the effects of pH, temperature and metabolites in samples on the peak height. GOD-FIA and SOD-FIA systems were also applied for on-line On-line measurements buy FIA measurements by FIA were in god agreement with off-line measurements.
