Recently, as change in global logistics environment, various issues have been presenting. These issues are including the pursuit of low cost-high added value, the realization of sustainable logistics system, the protection of environment, and the development of ubiquitous techniques. To cope with these environment changes and improve the national logistics system, the government have carried out various logistics policies and pushed ahead development of national logistics information network. But still, from a view-point of national logistics, there are several inefficient elements such as information connection and utilization, code/data standardization. In this paper, the survey result of global logistics environment change, logistics policy of a developed countries, domestic logistics policy and information system status will be presented. And from these status, suggestive points are mentioned. Finally the status of railway logistics information and future developments are presented.

글로벌 물류기업의 정보시스템은 성과분석을 하여 효율성 증진을 위한 실증적 근거를 기반으로 세부 운영방법을 위한 전략이 요구된다. 본 연구는 물류기업의 핵심역량으로 물류정보서비스를 강화하므로 물류정보시스템의 운영과 정보서비스 등급을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. Logistics Quarterly and Armstrong Association로부터 글로벌물류기업 중 27개 글로벌물류기업을 선정한 후, 이들 기업의 2007년, 2008년, 2009년 까지 매출액, 정보시스템 등급과 정보시스템 운영수, 종업원 수를 투입요소와 산출요소를 이용하여 효율성 분석을 하였다. 효율성의 동태적 변동은 SBM을 이용하였다. 실증분석결과 2007년에 가장 효율적인 DMU는 DB Schenker Logistics.,와 Schneider Log istics, Inc.로 나타났다. 2008년에 가장 효율적인 DMU는 DHL Supply Chain & Global Forwarding., DB Schenker Logistics., Panalpina World Tranport(Holding) Ltd., C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc., Hub Group, Inc./Unyson Logistics.로 나타났다. 2009년에 효율적인 DMU는 DHL Supply Chain & Global Forwarding., DB Schenker Logistics., Panalpina World Tranport(Holding) Ltd., C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc., Hub Group, Inc./Unyson Logistics., Transplace.로 나타났다. 결과적으로 2007년, 2008년, 2009년 연도별 효율성이 점차로 감소되고 있으며, 비효율성이 원인으로 지목되는 규모의 효율성 개수가 점차로 감소하고 있음을 알 수 있다.

With the increasing recognition of logistics as a source of potential competitive advantage by companies, there has been a rapid growth in the logistics service industry. In particular increased globalization by multinational corporations has prompted consideration of outsourcing logistics service to third party logistics firms. This paper aims to seek the way to establish logistics information system by the case study of company 'D'. The G-Project, aiming to establish global supply chain including information network was required to form integrated logistics information system between manufacturer and logistics provider. The results should have considerable value to both global manufacturers and logistics providers.

The modem world has brought a wave of changes, not the least of which is globalization or what is often referred to as the "borderless society." In recent times, changes in the global business environment, such as trade deregulation and advances in technology, are challenging us to find new ways of thinking about and coping with these new forces. The field of global logistics has encountered a host of paradigm shifts as well. Therefore, it is critical that managers involved in international logistics take into account perceptional swift or at least understand the value of fully utilizing information. The appropriate management of human resources is a key factor in dealing with not only new information technology, but also shifts in the business environment. In particular, it will be important for Korea's logistics managers at international logistics companies to continually work to develop themselves, as they must carry out a critical role in global supply chain management. If they fail to take heed of the demand's of the new environment, the competitiveness of Korean enterprises in international logistics will suffer severely.

Purpose: In this logistics disturbance period, this study conducts research of distribution and logistics firms in Korea. The purpose of this exploratory research is to analyze global competitive capability influence on business performance. And give managerial implications and contribute to academics. Research design, data, and methodology: This research empirically analyzes the relationship between global competitive capability and business performance. As for business performance this research considered non-financial performance and measured with business performance fulfillment. As for antecedent variables, this research measured three global competitive capability constructs; preparation, utilization, intensive capability. And each construct includes two capability concepts. This study used 2,316 executing direct export distribution and logistics industry firmsfrom KOTRA's GCL data. This research used frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and step-wise regression analysis by SPSS26. Results: The result shows that all the variables except export infra showed statistically significant. As results show, mid/long strategy & global mind of preparation capability, both communication and marketing of utilization capability and market strategy and product/goods/service of intensive capability give a positive influence on business performance fulfillment. Conclusions: Based on the results, this research provide implication for practical management, contribution to academic, and suggestion for feature research.

본 논문은 국내외 중소형 국제물류기업들 간의 화물 운송을 위한 화물 및 공간에 대한 등록과 검색, 공개입찰과 협상, 계약, 지급과 안전보장, 그리고 운송 등에 관해 인터넷, 무선 통신 수단, 또는 스마트폰 등으로 접속 및 중개할 차별화된 IGILMS(internet-based global integrated logistics management system)의 구조를 제시한다. 그리고 IGILMS를 위한 B2B 온라인 시장의 고객 맞춤형 서비스 제공 모형과 이행 단계의 구조 및 통제에 대해 설명하고, 인터넷 기반의 글로벌 물류 관리 시스템을 위한 IGILMS의 기술적인 구성을 제공한다. 또한 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안한 시스템의 효율성을 검증한다.

Recently leading edge companies use the Supply Chain Management as a competitive weapon to secure and maintain customer loyalty. As a consequency they are concentrating resources on the company’s core business and employing strategic alliances with third-party providers to ensure the company provides its customers’desired logistics service levels at acceptable costs. Under this circumstances this paper surveys the third party logistics as a leading edge logistics industry coping with the progress of the supply chain management. The status and the type of the TPL including the Forwarder are analyzed in the view point of global logistics. Also the development strategy of third party logistics in the future is suggested.

전 세계적으로 우편의 비중은 줄어들고 특송 및 물류서비스에 대한 수요는 지속적으로 증가하는 추세에 있다. 최근 우리나라 우정사업본부는 통상우편물의 정체, 우체국예금, 보험의 성장률 둔화에 직면하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 DPWN의 사례분석을 통해 우리나라 우정사업본부의 물류기업화 방안을 제시하는 데 있다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 1단계로 물류사업 진출을 위해 조직개편이 선행되어야 한다. 즉 기존의 예금, 우편물, 보험에 물류회사를 설립하는 것이다. 둘째, 2단계로 기존 사업영역에 보관물류 및 복합운송물류 부문 강화를 위해 상호 보완성과 시너지 효과가 있는 대상 기업의 인수나 출자를 통해 종합물류업체로서의 사업영역을 구축하는 것이다. 셋째, 3단계로 중국, 인도 등 물류수요가 많거나 물류시장 규모가 큰 지역을 중심으로 외형을 확대하고 서비스 영역을 확장하는 것이다. 넷째, 4단계로 글로벌 중심의 통합물류서비스를 제공하는 단계로 유럽, 미주를 중심으로 글로벌 네트워크 확장을 위해 인수 합병, 현지법인, 합작회사 및 전략적 제휴 등을 적극적으로 추진하는 것이다. 본 논문의 한계점으로 우정사업본부의 물류산업 진출에 대한 선행연구의 부족으로 우정사업본부의 글로벌 물류기업화와 관련해서 보다 심층적인 전략과 방안이 제시되지 않았다는 것이다. 향후, 이러한 한계점을 개선하고 보완할 수 있는 보다 심층적이고 실증적인 연구가 수행되어져야 할 것이다.

Global firms are seeking to implement their global logistics strategies in two ways: the use of centralized inventories and/or postponement of final assembly. These strategies stress the importance of regional logistics centers. In most cases, regional logistics centers are located in or near ports so that changing demands can be met with economy, reliability and flexibility, The port can profit not only from the activities of logistics center itself, but also the increasing flow of cargo through the logistics center. A number of ports respond to this trend by shifting their emphasis from traditional cargo-handling services to value-added services. This paper presents guidelines drawn from the best practices of ports to be successful logistics centers to provide many aspects of value-added logistics services. These include: Effective Planning and Development of Logistics Centers; Institutional Incentive Scheme; Development of Free Trade Zones; Financing Infrastructure related to Logistics Centers; Developing Logistics Service Providers and Logistics Professionals; Development of Information Technology; and Regulatory and Administrative Issues. These guidelines will help managers of ports and policy makers of governments in the East Asian region learn to recognize, analyze and adopt the best practices for use.
