수조 실험에 의한 삼중자망의 뜸줄 높이에 대한 수치해석 (Numerical analysis on the headline heights of a trammel net in a flume tank experiment)

  • An estimation of the headline height of a bottom trammel net set across under uniform current was achieved numerically from a differential equations describing the forces of the net and compared with the measured value in a flume tank experiment. The analysis on the shape of the bottom trammel net with the headline free was based on the equilibrium equation of the bottom gill net which was modified and slack of the trammel net was varied with net depth as shown in the tank experiment. The differential equations were solved by a forth-order Runge-Kutta method. The estimated headline heights with varied slack was found to be closer than that with constant slack when compared with the actual values.

발돌재질에 따른 참조기유자망의 수중거동특성 (The behavior characteristics according to the quality of the sinkers of the yellow croaker drift gill net in the field)

  • As a series of studies about improvement of yellow croaker drift gill net fishing gear and development of the labor saving fishing system, this study analyzed the behavior characteristics of fishing gear, which does use three types of different sinker materials in the field tests. The result of maritime performance test indicated that the fishing gear which used the lead reached the maximum depth and bio ceramics hauled to the surface of water the fastest. The correlation between the sinking time (St) and depth (Dsl, Dsc, Dsb) of maritime performance test can be shown such experimental equations as Dsl=2.70St - 0.75, Dsc = 2.38St - 1.15, Dsb = 1.77St - 4.00. The correlation between the hauling time (Ht) and depth (Dhl, Dhc, Dhb) of maritime performance test can be shown such experimental equations as and Dhl = 7.88Ht + 35.48, Dhc = 7.80Ht + 40.01, Dhb = 7.95Ht + 36.44.

경기도 화성해역의 수산종묘 방류 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Stocked Effect of Fisheries Seeds at Whasung Sea area of Kyung Ki Province)

  • 1. The appearance of fisheries animals and plants of investigation areas were fishes, 20 species; algae, 9 species; molluska, 6 species; arthropod, 12 species; echinoderm, 5 species by confirmed appearance species. 2. The C.P.U.E by trap(1pcs of trap) were 3.95 species and weight of 2,098g, mainly catching species are greenling and jacopever(94.16%). The C.P.U.E by long liner(long liner 1coil, 100pcs) were 11.7species and weight of 6,418g, It occupied jacopever(35.63%) greenling(20.78%), bastard halibut(20.31%). The C.P.U.E of appearance species gill net(ipcs of gill net) were 5.05species and weight of 3,050g, It occupied jacopever(39.63%) greenling(29.83%), bastard halibut(17.47%). 3. The results of comparative analysis and natural species and stocked species, in case of bastard halibut, jacopever species were occupied species(83.33~92%), weight(86.86~96%). The stocked species were occupied species of 8.00~16.67%, weight of 4.00~13.14%. Provided the stocked projets were enacted effectively in future. The density of dwelling of stocked species were increase. Also, it will be contribute to the increase of fishermens income.

생분해 어구 보급 확대에 따른 경제적 효과 분석 (Analysis of economic effects of expanding of biodegradable fishing gear)

  • Recently, as the global problem of marine debris and marine plastics is getting serious, various ways to solve them have been proposed, and the use of the biodegradable fishing gear is proposed as an alternative. Currently, 13 types of biodegradable fishing gears are available, but their penetration rate is only 8.7%. However, the need for the use of the biodegradable fishing gear is growing as awareness of protecting marine ecosystems is growing. Therefore, in this study, the economic effects of the expansion of biodegradable fishing gear distribution in Korea's coastal areas were analyzed through the conservation of marine ecosystems, augmentation of fisheries resources, and augmentation of fishing efficiency. According to the analysis, the economic effects of 52,795 million won, 105,590 million won, and 158,385 million won was generated as the distribution of biodegradable fishing gear were expanded to 10%, 20% and 30% across all gill net and trap.

한국 연안어업의 실태 (Characteristics of Korean Coastal Fisheries)

  • In this study, the status of coastal fisheries was examined based on the catch and number of fishing vessels of coastal fisheries in Korea. Comparing the status on coastal fisheries of the East Sea, Yellow Sea and South Sea in Korea, scientific evidence was made for fisheries management on coastal fisheries based on characteristics of each sea area. From 1990 to 2011, the catch of coastal fisheries in Korean waters ranged from 150,000 mt to 230,000 mt, with an average of 190,000 mt, and it accounted for 15% in average of total catch fished in adjacent waters of Korea. In order of catch by coastal fisheries, gillnet (36.7%) was the primary fishery, followed by coastal complex (24.7%), stow net (18.3%), trap (12.9%), lift net (3.9%), purse seine (3.0%) and beam trawl (0.4%) fisheries. In order of catch by species, anchovy (15.0%) had the largest proportion of total catch, followed by common squid (10.3%), akiami paste shrimp (5.2%), blue crab (3.9%) and octopus (3.7%). Of the average catch by sea area from 1990 to 2011, Yellow Sea, South Sea and East Sea were 37.4%, 34.6% and 28.0%, respectively. Since 2000s, however, the average catch of South Sea has accounted for the largest proportion. The number of permitted fishing vessels involved in 8 coastal fisheries was 55,336 vessels in average from 1997 to 2011. The number of vessels was about 47,000 vessels in 1997, and increased to 61,300 vessels until 2000, then has decreased to 44,000 vessels operating in 2011. In order of the number of permitted fishing vessels by fisheries, complex (52.4%) took the first place, followed by gillnet (31.5%), trap (13.4%), stow net (0.8%), beam trawl (0.8%), purse seine (0.6%), lift net (0.4%) and seine net (0.0%). In order of the number of permitted fishing vessels by sea area, South Sea (29,994 vessels) took the first place, followed by Yellow Sea (18,185 vessels) and East Sea (7,158 vessels). In order of the catch per unit effort (CPUE, mt/vessels) which was analyzed using catch and number of vessels in average by fishery, stow net is the highest followed by lift net, trap, purse seine, gill net, beam trawl and complex fisheries. In particular, the CPUE of complex and gill net fisheries, which accounted for the largest number of vessels were 4.0 mt/vessels and 1.6 mt/vessels, respectively. Since those are too low relative to other fisheries, it was judged to need systematical management on both fisheries.

동해 감포 주변해역에서 저층삼중자망에 어획된 어류 군집 (Fish Assemblages Collected by Bottom Trammel Gill Net around Gampo in the East Sea of Korea)

  • 2005년 6월, 9월, 12월 및 2006년 3월에 동해안의 감포연안에서 저층삼중자망에 어획된 어류 종 조성을 분석하였다. 조사기간 동안 총 21과 32종, 695마리, 180,012.0 g의 어류가 채집되었다. 채집된 어류 가운데, 가장 많이 채집된 종은 망상어 (Ditrema temminckii)로서 채집 개체수의 52.4%, 생체량의 40.4%를 차지하였다. 그 다음 주요 종으로는 쥐노래미 (Hexagrammos otakii), 조피볼락 (Sebastes schlegelii), 쥐치 (Stephanolepis cirrhifer), 탁자볼락 (Sebastes taczanowskii), 용치놀래기 (Halichoeres poecilopterus) 등이었다. 이들 6종은 전체 개체수의 77.6%, 전체 생체량의 77.5%를 차지하였다. 종수, 개체수 및 생체량은 계절에 따라 변동하였다. 종수는 2005년 6월에 가장 많았고 2006년 3월에 가장 적었다. 개체수와 생체량은 2005년 9월에 가장 많았고, 2005년 6월에 가장 낮았다.

연근해 침적폐기물 수거사업에 대한 효과분석 연구 (A study on Effectiveness Analysis for the Coastal and Inshore Submerged Marine Litters)

  • According to the result of the recent survey on the current condition of loss of the fishing gears in the East, West and South seas, it is estimated that 50% of the fishing gears used for coastal trap and gill net fisheries are lost every year and 20~30% of those used for inshore trap and gill net fisheries are lost. It is reported that such loss of fishing gears leads to the loss of about 10% of 1.7M tons of the total annual catch from the gill nets and traps along the country's coasts and shores, which amounts to 15~170K tons. Submerged marine litters that have recently been accumulated because of the washed out or lost fishing gears significantly affect the development of fisheries resources as well as the natural environment. The purpose of this study is to identify the damages that the ever-increasing submerged marine litters of washed out fishing gears would have on the fishery and to analyze the effects of the coastal and inshore submerged marine litter collection business on the fishery management. For this, the economic analysis was carried out for the coastal and inshore submerged marine litter collection business based on the fishermen's expenses and earnings and their catch. The result of the analysis shows that the submerged marine litter collection business is quite effective in certain areas but rarely effective in other areas. However, taking into consideration that the litter collection would contribute to protecting the marine environment as well as the fisheries resources, it is expected to have a significant impact on the protection of the marine environment even in those areas where it is not effective for the protection of the fisheries resources.

신갈호의 어류군집 특징 및 어구별 채집 효과 분석 (Fish Community Characteristics and the Influence of Fish Sampling Gears in Lake Singal, South Korea)

  • 신갈호의 어류군집 특징 및 어구별 채집 효과를 밝히기 위해 2020년 8월부터 2021년 10월까지 조사를 실시하였다. 채집 어구는 호소에서 일반적으로 사용되고 있는 족대와 투망, 자망, 정치망을 사용하였다. 조사결과, 조사기간 동안 채집된 어류는 7과 18종 3,501개체, 생체량 117,670g이었다. 개체수비 우점종은 참붕어(Pseudorasbora parva, 29.9%), 아우점종은 피라미(Zacco platypus, 25.1%), 다음으로 배스(Micropterus salmoides, 19.3%), 붕어(Carassius auratus, 9.1%), 밀어(Rhinogobius brunneus, 6.1%), 블루길(Lepomis macrochirus, 4.2%) 등의 순으로 우세하였으며, 생체량비 우점종은 붕어(45.1%), 아우점종은 잉어(Cyprinus carpio, 17.4%), 그 다음으로 배스(14.3%), 피라미(7.7%), 떡붕어(C. cuvieri, 7.4%), 참붕어(3.9%) 등의 순으로 우세하였다. 출현종 중 한국고유종은 몰개(Squalidus japonicus coreanus), 점줄종개(Cobitis nalbanti), 얼록동사리(Odontobutis interrupta) 3종이었으며, 외래어종은 배스, 블루길, 떡붕어, 향어(Cyprinus carpio nudus type) 4종으로 이중 배스와 블루길은 생태계교란 생물로 지정된 종이다. 주요종의 평균 체장과 체중을 조사한 결과, 우점종인 참붕어는 체장 60±24.1mm, 체중 4.4±3.42g이었고, 아우점종인 피라미는 체장 82±17.6mm, 체중 10.4±7.27g, 우세종 배스는 체장 96±25.1mm, 체중 24.9±96.02g, 붕어는 체장 125±77.3mm, 체중 168±336.5g이었다. 어구별 조사결과, 족대로 채집된 어류는 3과 8종 302개체 생체량 1,269g, 투망으로 채집된 어류는 4과 11종 948개체 생체량 31,343g, 자망으로 채집된 어류는 4과 13종 682개체 생체량 69,695g, 정치망으로 채집된 어류는 7과 15종 1,569개체, 생체량 15,362g으로 나타났다. 어구별 조사결과를 요약하면, 정치망은 종수와 개체수가, 삼중자망은 생체량이 가장 많았으며, 투망은 연안지대의 종수와 개체수를 채집하는데 강점이 있었으며, 족대는 종수와 개체수, 생체량 모두 가장 적었으나 연안지대의 저서성 소형어류를 채집하는데 강점을 보였다.

해상풍력발전단지 내 어업 가능성에 관한 고찰 (Possibility of Fishery in Offshore Wind Farms)

  • 본 연구는 해상풍력발전단지 내 어업의 가능성을 살펴보고자, 어구 및 어법이 해상풍력발전단지 내 터빈과 해저케이블에 미치는 위험도를 평가하였다. 서남해 해상풍력발전단지를 연구 대상 해역으로 설정하여, 주변 국가어항의 선박 현황을 조사하였다. 어선의 현황을 참조하여 22개의 어구 및 어법에 대하여 위험도 평가 기준을 설정하고, 전문가를 통해 위험도를 평가하였다. 위험도가 낮아 해상풍력발전단지 내에서도 조업이 가능하다고 판단되는 어구 및 어법은 외줄낚시, 대낚시, 멸치챗배였으며, 위험도가 보통으로서 조업이 가능하기는 하나, 주의가 필요하다고 생각되는 어구 및 어법은 바닥주낙, 뜬주낙, 끌낚시, 오징어채낚기, 문어단지, 주꾸미소호, 연안통발, 주목망, 낭장망, 고정자망, 유자망이었다. 위험도가 높아 해상풍력발전단지 내 조업이 어렵다고 판단되는 어구 및 어법은 형망, 빔트롤, 건착망류였으며, 위험도가 아주 높아 해상풍력발전단지 내 어업이 허용되기 어렵다고 판단되는 어구 및 어법은 안강망, 기선권현망, 오터트롤, 외끌이기선저인망, 쌍끌이기선저인망이었다.
