Objective : This report is to introduce the clinical application of Whidam's Su-Gi therapy to shoulder pain. Methods : Whidam's Su-Gi therapy for shoulder pain first identifies for red flags in order to select a person to be treated in korean medicine. After performing shoulder joint mobility evaluation and Su-Gi treatment, determine the disadvantage, and determine the mobility evaluation and Su-Gi treatment route of the shoulder, the shoulder blade, and cervical vertebrae. The advantage and pain are evaluated by a manual exercise test. After performing Su-Gi therapy according to the evaluation at each stage, pain and dysfunction are reevaluated to check the negative and proceed to the next step. Conclusions : The clinical application of Whidam's Su-Gi therapy to shoulder pain was organized around the correlation between the shoulder joint, the shoulder, the shoulder blade, and cervical vertebrae, and a medical flow chart was constructed away from the listed description method.

Objects : The purpose of this study was to investigate Urinary Incontinence improvement effect of Moosim Gi-Gong Riding stance and to propose urinary incontinence treatment Program. Methods : We analyzed the effect of Moosim Gi-Gong Riding stance, and compared to Behavior theraphy which includes Kegel Exercise, Riding Stance of Ki-chum, Zhan-Zhuang-Gong. Results : 1. Moosim Gi-Gong Riding stance can correct the pelvic strain with principles such as horseback riding and help restore organs in the abdominal cavity. 2. Moosim Gi-Gong Riding stance can restore the ability to recover bladder and proximal urethra in right place through changes in the abdominal pressure by breathing and posture 3. Moosim Gi-Gong Riding stance can help restoring the ability to control the urination by increasing the intensity of the abdominal pressure and reinforcing Kidney, Liver, Spleen Meridian muscles. 4. Reinforcing Kidney, Liver, Spleen Meridian muscles can help to treat urinary incontinence through strengthening the tension between organs and activating the intestinal tract. Conclusions : This study shows that treatment program for Urinary Incontinence using Moosim Gi-Gong Riding stance can be useful to patient.

In Cheon Won Gi Dae Ron(天元紀大論), Cheon(大) means Nature, Won(元) means sources, Gi(紀) is Gang Gi(綱紀) that means rules or regulations, so Cheon Won Gi(天元紀) means sources and rules of change that make Nature phenomenons. This volume treats of cause that weather change of Nature caused by, and its general rules, and presents fundamental notions and systems of measuring of 'Five elements' evolutions and Six kinds of natural factors(五運六氣)'. So named Cheon Won Gi Dae Ron(天元紀大論). This article of the research on the Cheon Won Gi Dae Ron(天元紀大論) can be divided into 3 chapters. Chapter 1 presents a theory that the principle of changes of creations' birth, groth and extinction is complished by sympathizing with Hyeong(形) of Ji(地) and Gi(氣) of Cheon(大) by rules of movement of O Un Yum Yang(五運陰陽). Chapter 2 presents theories that Tae Heo(太虛) makes Won Gi(元氣), and this Won Gi(元氣) makes the change of creations' birth, groth and extinction, and movement of O Un(五運) controls creation of nature. And treats of that 'excessive and short(太過不及)' that is made by a quality of Gi(氣) and ups and dons of Hyeong(形) controls weather of year. In Chapter 3, Cheon O Ji Yuk(天五地六) regard six and five as Yong(用). And A Cycle that movment that sympathizing with O Un(五運) and Yuk Gi(六氣) is Il Gi(一氣) as 30 years, and Il Ju(一周) as 60 years. And presents that O Un(五運) and Yuk Gi(六氣) that Gan Ji(干支) control.

Objectives & Methods: We investigated 36 books to study etiology, pathology and acupuncture & Moxibustion treatment of Gak-Gi Result and Conclusion 1. Gak-Gi is a disease of legs. In the past, it was called Wan-poong(緩風) or Gueol(厥). Currently it is divided into two kinds; the Seup-Gak-Gi(Damp Gak-Gi) in which the legs swell; The Gun-Gak-Gi(Dry Gak-Gi) in which the legs do not swell. 2. Gak-Gi may be caused by exogenous wind, coldness, dampness and Excess of phlegm or damp-heat. It also can be caused by weakness of vital energy(Myungmoon fire;命門火), kidney Yin deficiency and vital energy deficiency in the Stomach and Spleen. 3. Gak-Gi-Pal-Hyul(Eight acupoints for Gak-Gi; 脚氣八穴) are GB31(Poonsi; 風市), ST32(Bok-to; 伏兎), ST35(Dok-bi; 犢鼻), Nae-seul-an(Extra point; 內膝眼), ST36(Chok-samni; 足三里) ST37(Sang-goho; 上巨虛) ST39(Hagoho; 下巨虛) GB41 (Choc-imup; 足臨泣) 4. Treatment plans for Gak-Gi are removing the exogenous wind, coldness and dampness, regulating meridians, alleviating the pain and swelling, more importantly, tonifying vital energy and nourishing Spleen and Stomach. 5. Three out of Eight acupoints for Gak-Gi, ST36(Chok-samni; 足三里), ST37(Sang-goho; 上巨 虛), ST39(Hagoho; 下巨虛) are Lower sea points of Fu organs( Stomach, Large Intestine, Small Intestine). Five out of Eight acupoints for Gak-Gi, ST32(Bok-to; 伏兎), ST35(Dok-bi;犢鼻) are onthe Stomach meridian, and Nae-seu1-an(Extra point; 內膝眼) is on the Spleen meridian. This result indicates that regulation of Middle-cho(中焦) is important in the treatment for Gak-Gi.

Exo-polysaccharide obtained from the submerged cultivation of Ganoderma lucidum mycelium was fractionated. The structural analysis of the acidic exo-polysaccharide fraction (BWS-DA-GI), showing high antitumor activity, was carried out and compared to the mycelial acidic fraction (MWS-DA-GI). The major sugar constituents of the fraction of BWS-DA-GI were glucose, galactose and mannose in the molar ratio of 2.5 : 2.1 : 2.5. The minor components in this fraction were xylose and fucose. While the major sugar constituents of the mycelial acidic fraction of MWS-DA-GI were galactose, fucose, mannose and glucose. The trace components in this fraction was xylose. From the results of periodate oxidation, Smith degradation, affinity chromatography and methylation analysis, the chemical structures of the two fractions, BWS-DA-GI and MWS-DA-GI were both determined as ${\beta}-1,3$ glucans. It was also estimated that BWS-DA-GI had a $1{\rightarrow}6$ glucosidic linkage and MWS DA-GI had $1{\rightarrow}4$ and $1{\rightarrow}6$ glucosidic linkages. The molecular weights of these fractions, MWS-DA-GI and MWSDA-GI were estimated as $1.2{\times}10^6\;and\;1.0{\times}10^6$ dalton, respectively.

Abdominal diagnosis 'bok-su-ap-an-beop(伏手壓按法)', 'sam-ji-tam-an-beop(三指探按法)' hands are like this, which outlined five viscera in order to understand the problem, the lower side of the clavicle (lung), the pit of stomach (Heart), both the lower ribs (liver), navel below (kidney) can be diagnosed at such areas. 태초이래 지도나 지리정보에 대한 관심은 컴퓨터 기술의 발전에 힘입어 GIS를 출현시켰다. 우리나라의 경우 GIS는 지난 78년 서울시 지적과의 지적도 전산화 추진을 시작으로 그 모습을 드러냈지만 지리정보의 전문성 등으로 인해 GIS에 대한 접근이 어려웠다. 이에 최근 쌍용컴퓨터가 성남시에 구축한 '상수도 시설관리전산화'사업을 통해 GIS가 펼치는 세계를 살펴본다.

Objectives : This experiments were performed to determine the effect of OYakSoonGi-San extract on hypertension in spontaneous hypertensive rat and norepinephrine-induced arterial contraction in rabbit. Methods : In order to define the effect of OYakSoonGi-San extract on contracted rabbit carotid arterial strips, transverse strips with intact or damaged endothelium were used for the experiment using organ bath. To analyze the mechanism of OYakSoonGi-San extract-induced relaxation, OYakSoonGi-San extract infused into contracted arterial strips induced by norepinephrine after treatment of indomethacin, $N{\omega}-nitro-L-arginine$, methylene blue or tetraethylammonium chloride. Results : Blood pressure was significantly decreased five days after administration of OYakSoonGi-San extract. The relaxation effect of OYakSoonGi-San extract was dependent on the presence of endothelium, showing that OYakSoonGi-San extract-induced relaxation was not observed in the strips without endothelium. Also OYakSoonGi-San extract-induced relaxation was significantly inhibited in arterial strips which were contracted by high $K^+$. OYakSoonGi-San extract-indeced relaxation was significantly inhibited by the pre-treatment of $N{\omega}-nitro-L-arginine$ or methylene blue, but it was not observed in the strips pre-treated with indomethacin or tetraethylammonium chloride. When additive application of $Ca^{2+}$ in arterial strips which were pre-contracted by norepinephrine in a $Ca^{2+}$-free solution, arterial contraction was increased. But contractile response to $Ca^{2+}$ was attenuated by pre-treatment of OYakSoonGi-San extract. Conclusions : These results demonstrated that OYakSoonGi-San could be applied effectively to hypertension and may inhibit agonist-induced contraction through an decrease influx of extra-cellular $Ca^{2+}$ by the formation of nitric oxide in the vascular endothelial cells.

Objectives : Among the translations of the verse "Sa-gi is on the upper side, Tak-gi is on the middle side, Cheong-gi is on the under side(邪氣在上, 濁氣在中, 淸氣在下)" in the texts of Miraculous Pivot(靈樞) Nine needles and Twelve sources(九鍼十二原), the meanings of 'Ham-maek(陷脈)' and 'Joong-maek(中脈)' have contradictory versions. Methods : This study will identify the actual meaning of this verse through analysis of the phrase "夫氣之在脈也", followed by examination of the relationship between the meaning of "three-stratum puncture(三刺)" in the chapters Miraculous Pivot Handling needle(官鍼), Miraculous Pivot Jong-si(終始) and the meaning of "刺有三變" of Miraculous Pivot Longevity and character(壽夭剛柔), after which its application in later periods will be discussed. Results : The words 'Sa-gi', 'Tak-gi' and 'Cheong-gi' in the phrase "夫氣之在脈也" of Miraculous Pivot Nine needles and Twelve sources each correspond to the words 'yang pathogens(陽邪)', 'yin pathogens(陰邪)' and 'essence derived from food(穀氣)' of Miraculous Pivot 終始, respectively. Conclusions : The Upper-Middle-Lower of the phrase "夫氣之在脈也" in Nine needles and Twelve sources indicates the three levels of depth, in which 'Sa-gi', 'Tak-gi' and 'Cheong-gi' each dwell. 'Ham-maek' and 'Joong-maek' are categorizations according to the depth of needling.

Gastrointestinal (GI) hemangiomas are relatively rare benign vascular tumors. The choice of an appropriate diagnostic method depends on patient age, anatomic location, and presenting symptoms. However, GI hemangiomas are not a common suspected cause of GI bleeding in children because of their rarity. Based on medical history, laboratory results, and imaging study findings, the patient could be treated with either medication or surgery. Herein, we report 3 cases of GI hemangioma found in the small bowel, rectum, and GI tract (multiple hemangiomas). Better knowledge and understanding of GI hemangioma could help reduce the delayed diagnosis rate and prevent inappropriate management. Although rare, GI hemangiomas should be considered in the differential diagnosis of GI bleeding.
