금강 수계 서식지 유형분류 및 수서곤충 섭식기능군 분포특성 (Habitat Classification and Distribution Characteristic of Aquatic Insect Functional Feeding Groups in the Geum River, Korea)

  • 본 연구는 금강 수계의 환경요인을 이용한 서식지 유형분류와 그에 따른 수서곤충 섭식기능군의 분포특성을 규명하기 위한 것으로 2007년부터 2008년까지 금강 수계에서 총 38개 지점에 대하여 봄과 가을에 걸쳐 년 2회씩 총 4회 조사를 실시하였다. 38개 조사지점별로 15개의 환경요인들을 현장 측정한 후 서식지 유사도 분석을 실시한 결과, 거리 척도값 4를 전후하여 상류구간(HD)은 C1과 C3그룹, 중류구간(MS)은 C2와 C4 그리고 C5그룹, 하류구간(LR)은 C6과 C7그룹으로 서식지 유형이 분류되었다. 서식지 유형분류에 있어 영향을 끼치는 주요한 환경요인은, 물리적 환경요인의 경우 하폭과 고도, 화학적 환경요인의 경우 수온과 전기전도도 그리고 DO, 하상재료의 경우 모래와 실트 그리고 잔자갈의 함량으로 분석되었다. 조사시기 동안 출현한 수서곤충은 총 9목 46과 142종으로 조사되었고, 서식지 유형별 종수 및 개체수 현존량 증감과 높은 상관성을 보인 주요 환경요인은 유속과 모래의 함량으로 나타났다. 또한 섭식기능군과 환경요인 사이의 상관성 분석결과, (1) 걸러먹는 무리(FC)는 유속, 수폭, 실트 (2) 주어먹는 무리(GC)는 유속 (3) 잡아먹는 무리(P)는 고도, 유속, 큰돌, 전기전도도, 모래 (4) 뚫어먹는 무리(PP)는 수폭, 실트 (5) 긁어먹는 무리(SC)는 유속, 전기전도도 (6) 썰어먹는 무리(SH)는 고도, 큰돌, DO, pH, 전기전도도, 수온과 각각 상관성을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과, 단계적 다중회귀분석(SMRA)에 의해 도출된 금강 수계의 환경요인 중 고도, 하폭, 유속, 전기전도도, 수온 그리고 모래 등 6개의 요인은 생물군집의 서식과 상관성($r{\geqq}0.600$, P<0.01)이 있는 것으로 나타나 금강 수계 섭식기능군 분포에 영향을 미치는 주요한 요인으로 제시되었다.

Expression and Characterization of Polyketide Synthase Module Involved in the Late Step of Cephabacin Biosynthesis from Lysobacter lactamgenus

  • The cephabacins produced by Lysobacter lactamgenus are ${\beta}$-lactam antibiotics composed of a cephem nucleus, an acetate residue, and an oligopeptide side chain. In order to understand the precise implication of the polyketide synthase (PKS) module in the biosynthesis of cephabacin, the genes for its core domains, ${\beta}$-ketoacyl synthase (KS), acyltransferase (AT), and acyl carrier protein (ACP), were amplified and cloned into the pET-32b(+) expression vector. The sfp gene encoding a protein that can modify apo-ACP to its active holo-form was also amplified. The recombinant KS, AT, apo-ACP, and Sfp overproduced in the form of $His_6$-tagged fusion proteins in E. coli BL21(DE3) were purified by nickel-affinity chromatography. Formation of stable peptidyl-S-KS was observed by in vitro acylation of the KS domain with the substrate [L-Ala-L-Ala-L-Ala-L-$^3H$-Arg] tetrapeptide-S-N-acetylcysteamine, which is the evidence for the selective recognition of tetrapeptide produced by nonribosomal peptide synthetase (NRPS) in the NRPS/PKS hybrid. In order to confirm whether malonyl CoA is the extender unit for acetylation of the peptidyl moiety, the AT domain, ACP domain, and Sfp protein were treated with $^{14}C$-malonyl-CoA. The results clearly show that the AT domain is able to recognize the extender unit and decarboxylatively acetylated for the elongation of the tetrapeptide. However, the transfer of the activated acetyl group to the ACP domain was not observed, probably attributed to the improper capability of Sfp to activate apo-ACP to the holo-ACP form.

중년남성의 국가암 검진수검 관련요인 (Factors Influencing the of Middle-Aged Men the NCSP(National Cancer Screening Program))

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to find factors influencing compliance with the national cancer screening program in middle-aged men. Methods : The data were collected from July 28, to October 31, 2015. Total subjects were 615 middle-aged men living in Busan. Results : The Rate of compliance with the NCSP(National Cancer Screening Program) for middle-aged men was 52.2%. There were significant differences in the compliance with the NCSP for the following barrier of exam(${\chi}^2=7.327$, p=.007), self-efficacy(${\chi}^2=23.074$, p<.001), age(${\chi}^2=38.823$, p<.001), marital status(${\chi}^2=19.012$, p<.001), cancer diagnosis in family(${\chi}^2=7.615$, p=.006), smoking(${\chi}^2=9.012$, p=.011), drinking(${\chi}^2=7.073$, p=.008), exercise(${\chi}^2=14.615$, <.001). Factors influencing the rate of compliance for the NCSP in middle-aged men were self-efficacy, age, marital status, exercise, and cancer diagnosis in family. Conclusion: To increase the rate of compliance to the NCSP in middle-aged men it is necessary to elevate the self-efficacy. Additional more positive support needed in men who are younger have no cancer diagnosis in their family are smokers and not m married encourage and improvve paticipation in the examination.

Inhibition of Cellular Proliferation by p53 dependent Apoptosis and G2M Cell Cycle Arrest of Saussurea lappa CLARKE in AGS Gastric Cancer Cell Lines

  • The root of Saussurea lappa includes sesquiterpene lactones such as costunolide and dehydrocostus lactone, and has been shown to be anti-tumorigenic with being used in traditional medicinal therapy in the Eastern Asia. However, the molecular basis of the effects of Saussurea lappa on fate of gastric carcinoma, which incur very frequently in the area, has not been well identified. In this study, the cytostatic effects of Saussurea lappa were examined using gastric AGS cancer cells. Cell viability was dramatically reduced by Saussurea lappa, in a dose-dependent manner. As time passed after its treatment, apoptotic population was increased and clearly showed G2-arrest. Being consistent, its treatment resulted in maintaining of G1 and S-phase cyclins D1, E, and A even until a significant apoptotic population was observed, for example, at 24h after treatment. However, G2/M phase cyclin B1 was reduced even at 12 h after treatment. In addition, its treatment increased expression of p53, p21/sup Wafl / cyclin dependent kinase inhibitor (CKI), and Bax, resulted in cleavages of procaspase 3 and poly ADP-ribose polymerase(PARP), indicating that such G2 arrest- and apoptosis-related molecules are involved. Therefore, these suggest that extracts of Saussurea lappa root may be a safer and effective reagent to deal with gastric cancers either by traditional herbal therapy or combinational therapy with conventional chemotherapy.

Mold Occurring on the Air Cleaner High-Efficiency Particulate Air Filters Used in the Houses of Child Patients with Atopic Dermatitis

  • Fungi are the known sources of irritation associated with atopic diseases (e.g., asthma, allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, and atopic eczema). To quantitatively estimate their presence in the indoor environment of atopic dermatitis-inflicted child patient's houses (ADCPHs), the high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters installed inside the air cleaners of three different ADCPHs were investigated for the presence of mold. The air cleaner HEPA filters obtained from the three different ADCPHs were coded as HEPA-A, -B, and -C, respectively, and tested for the presence of mold. The colony forming units (CFUs) corresponding to the HEPA-A, -B, and -C filters were estimated to be $6.51{\times}10^2{\pm}1.50{\times}10^2CFU/cm^2$, $8.72{\times}10^2{\pm}1.69{\times}10^2CFU/cm^2$, and $9.71{\times}10^2{\pm}1.35{\times}10^2CFU/cm^2$, respectively. Aspergillus, Penicillium, Alternaria, Cladosporium, Trichoderma, and other fungal groups were detected in the 2,494 isolates. The distribution of these fungal groups differed among the three filters. Cladosporium was the major fungal group in filters HEPA-A and -C, whereas Penicillium was the major fungal group in the filter HEPA-B. Nine fungal species, including some of the known allergenic species, were identified in these isolates. Cladosporium cladosporioides was the most common mold among all the three filters. This is the first report on the presence of fungi in the air cleaner HEPA filters from ADCPHs in Korea.

  • "The Golden Mirror of Medicine(醫宗金鑑)" is a very famous medical book. It was compiled by the medical officers of the Cheong(淸, Qing) Dynasty, especially headed by Ogyeom(吳謙, Wuqian). "The Elimination &amp; Supplement about the Famous Prescription Comments(刪補名醫方論)"that forms one part of "The Golden Mirror of Medicine(醫宗金鑑)", is a collection of famous notes about important prescriptions. Many parts of "The Elimination &amp; Supplement about the Famous Prescription Comments(刪補名醫方論)" were quoted from "The Famous Prescription Comments on Ancient and Modern Times(古今名醫方論)". The first part of the vol. Ⅱ of "The Elimination &amp; Supplement about the Famous Prescription Comments(刪補名醫方論)"mainly describes about the prescriptions of elevating Yanggi[升陽], which were invented by Igo(李杲, Ligao), a famous physician of the Geum(金, Jin) Dynasty. The treatments were five and three of them were quoted from "The Famous Prescription Comments on Ancient and Modern Times(古今名醫方論)". The basic rule of herbal combination of these prescriptions is a combination of herbs of strengthening-gi[補氣] and dispersing herbs[發散藥]. If the dispersing herbs[發散藥] is used with the herbs of strengthening-gi[補氣藥], they elevate Yanggi(陽氣) together.

  • In Cheon Won Gi Dae Ron(天元紀大論), Cheon(大) means Nature, Won(元) means sources, Gi(紀) is Gang Gi(綱紀) that means rules or regulations, so Cheon Won Gi(天元紀) means sources and rules of change that make Nature phenomenons. This volume treats of cause that weather change of Nature caused by, and its general rules, and presents fundamental notions and systems of measuring of 'Five elements' evolutions and Six kinds of natural factors(五運六氣)'. So named Cheon Won Gi Dae Ron(天元紀大論). This article of the research on the Cheon Won Gi Dae Ron(天元紀大論) can be divided into 3 chapters. Chapter 1 presents a theory that the principle of changes of creations' birth, groth and extinction is complished by sympathizing with Hyeong(形) of Ji(地) and Gi(氣) of Cheon(大) by rules of movement of O Un Yum Yang(五運陰陽). Chapter 2 presents theories that Tae Heo(太虛) makes Won Gi(元氣), and this Won Gi(元氣) makes the change of creations' birth, groth and extinction, and movement of O Un(五運) controls creation of nature. And treats of that 'excessive and short(太過不及)' that is made by a quality of Gi(氣) and ups and dons of Hyeong(形) controls weather of year. In Chapter 3, Cheon O Ji Yuk(天五地六) regard six and five as Yong(用). And A Cycle that movment that sympathizing with O Un(五運) and Yuk Gi(六氣) is Il Gi(一氣) as 30 years, and Il Ju(一周) as 60 years. And presents that O Un(五運) and Yuk Gi(六氣) that Gan Ji(干支) control.

CAM shift와 8방향 탐색 윈도우를 이용한 객체 추적 (Object Tracking Using CAM shift with 8-way Search Window)

  • 이 논문에서는 CAM shift알고리즘과 8방향 탐색 위도우를 결합하여 객체의 추적 성능을 향상하는 방법과 추적에 이용되는 프레임의 수를 줄여 연산을 줄이는 방법을 제안한다. CAM shift는 대표적인 색상을 이용한 추적 방법이나 빠른 속도로 이동하는 물체를 추적하기 어려운 단점이 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 추적 대상을 놓쳐버린 시점에서 마지막으로 추적에 성공한 시점의 정보를 이용하여 8방향 탐색을 실시하여 객체를 찾아 낸 후 CAM shift의 탐색 윈도우를 이동시켜 기존의 CAM shift로는 추적이 불가능한 고속 이동 물체에 대해서도 보다 정확한 추적이 가능하게 되었다. 또한 하드웨어의 발달로 초당 생산되어지는 프레임의 수가 증가하여 불필요한 연산이 증가하게 되었고, 이를 줄이기 위해 추적에 이용되는 프레임의 수를 줄여 연산을 줄여 이 전보다 효율을 높일 수 있었다.

대체냉매를 사용한 평활관 및 마이크로핀관 곡관부내 증발 열전달 특성 (Evaporation heat transfer characteristics inside the U-bend of the smooth and the microfin tube using alternative refrigerant)

  • The present work experimentally investigated the effects of mass flux, heat flux, inlet quality on the heat transfer performance inside the U-bend of smooth and microfin tube using R-22 and R-407C refrigerants. The parameters were 200 and 400 kg/m$^{2}$ s for mass flux, 6 and 12 kw/m$^{2}$ for heat flux, 0.1 and 0.2 for inlet quality under the pressure of 0.65 MPa. The apparatus consisted of the test section of four straight sections and three U-bends, preheater, condenser, refrigerant pump, mass flow meter etc. The average heat transfer coefficient at the downstream straight section after U-bend was affected by U-bend due to the centrifugal force and mixing of two-phase flow in the U-bend. The average heat transfer coefficient at the U-bend was 4 ~ 33 % higher than that at the straight section. The average heat transfer coefficients were affected in the order of mass flux, heat flux and inlet quality. The average heat transfer coefficients in the microfin tube were lager by 19 ~ 49% and 33 ~ 69% than that in the smooth tube at the straight section and at the U-bend separately. The average heat transfer coefficients for R-407C were larger by 33 ~ 41% and 17 ~ 29% than that for R-22 in the smooth tube and the microfin tube separately.

금정산성 등산로 주변 식생의 생태적 특성 평가 (Assessment on Ecological Characteristics of Vegetation in the Trail of Area Adjacent to GeumJeong Mountain Fortress)

  • This study are Geumjung mountain fortress of the Busan Metropolitan City in the north gate of the East gate around the trail to identify the vegetation structure importance value, dominance, species diversity, similarity index analysis. Results of the study, plot on the western slopes elevation 423-636m, slopes of $15{\sim}20^{\circ}$ slope areas, Pinus densiflora, Pinus thunbergii, Quercus acutissima, Pinus thunbergii, Pinus rigida, Carpinus coreana, Quercus mongolica are fulfilling a community. Trees layer a height 8~12m, coverage 40~70%, sub-trees layer the height 3~7m, coverage 10~80%, shrubs layer the height 0.8~1.5m, coverage 20-30%, herb layer the height 0.1~0.5m, coverage 5-10% were in the range of plot in the east slope elevation 452-647m, slopes in the slope of $5-30^{\circ}$ and Pinus rigida, Pinus thunbergii, Pinus densiflora, Quercus mongolica, Quercus dentata, Carpinus coreana is fulfilling a community. The trees layer height 8~13m, coverage 0~70%, sub-trees layer the height 2~6m, coverage 0~80%, shrubs layer the height 0.8~1.5m, coverage 20-40%, herb layer the height 0.1-0.5m, coverage 5-40% were in the range. The survey showed to be in relatively good vegetation, but in some areas of Pinus rigida, Quercus acutissima, as was predicted in succession, the shrub layer in the plot of some dominated vine plants and vegetation management will be needed for this purpose respectively.
