A Study on the Remodeling Case of General Hospitals in Korea - Focused on the Case of S Hospital - (국내 종합병원의 리모델링 사례 연구 - S 병원을 중심으로 -)

  • As hospitals change continuously and rapidly, the way of growth and change becomes another important factor in the design of a hospital. The hospitals are adapted for the continuous growth and change during their life span. But the hospitals built in 1970's and 80's have been expanded and reconstructed without any plan of growth and change. So, there is required to the architectural planning on the remodeling and modernization strategy of general hospitals. The purpose of this study is to provide the fundamental data for the reasonable design planning and the basic principles of the construction plan in the hospital remodeling. Thus, this study is to investigate and analyze the characteristics of hospital remodeling, the remodeling planning, and the scheduling process in terms of construction. As a result, this study would apply to design guideline for the remodeling of general hospitals.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the changes in the general commercial area of Buyeo after the establishment of the master plan to preserve and promote ancient city and to analyze the survey results of the merchants. After the plan was made, there was a positive effect such as a decrease in population decline and the influx of new merchants. There are many people who want to continue to operate with affection for the region, but it seems that it is necessary to prepare a plan for new merchants to settle well and to take countermeasures for relieving the anxiety of existing merchants.

A study on the Planning of a general ward in infectious diseases hospital considering the efficiency of hospital operation (운영 효율성을 고려한 감염병 전문병원의 일반병동 건축계획에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: As the need for a hospital specializing in infectious diseases has increased, construction is being promoted. Hospitals specializing in infectious diseases receive some state subsidies, but in the case of private hospitals, hospital operation efficiency should be considered to prevent cost loss. Therefore, we aim to derive a building plan for a general ward in a hospital specializing in infectious diseases that can be used not only in normal times but also in times of crisis. Methods: In this study, relevant literature review and field interviews were conducted with medical staff working in facilities designated as infectious disease hospitals. Results: The general ward building plan of the hospital specializing in infectious diseases was classified into three categories and presented. 'Spatial composition' for nursing unit and ward zoning, 'Spatial plan' for ward space conversion in normal times and crises, 'Bedroom plan' for effective dimensions and area of the ward. Implications: It can be used as a guideline when designing an infection-facility ward. And it can be a basis for inducing improvements to prevent infection in the ward of existing medical facilities.

The next research that the individual globe plan and development actual condition actual proof and the research which it analyzes system is necessary with base, sees the general operation evaluation of Seoul District unit plan.

A General Plan for the Preservation and Practical Use of Junkyung and Youngkyung Tombs at Samcheok (삼척 준경묘와 영경묘의 보존 및 활용을 위한 기본계획)

  • This research aims to make the general plan for the preservation and practical use about Junkyung and Youngkyung tombs at Samcheok. The general plan is classified according to three large territories. First, it is necessary for these two tombs to preserve territories and strengthen the historical identity in order to restore the spoiled building such as Subokbang and Surabang by verification and excavation. Second, to preserve the nature and environment of territories surrounding the two tombs is essential for the extension of the essence about these cultural heritage to improve the familiarity and effective utilization by trial programs, which are related to the historical background of the tombs and so forth. Third, supporting and making convenient facilities in the neighborhood near cultural assets is required to install public parks and parking lots for visitors. Additionally, it is needed to advertise successively about these two tombs as the beginning of Chosun Dynasty tombs Also, it is necessary to consider implementing programs because Junkyung and Youngkyung tombs along with Chosun royal tombs in the north of Korea might be designated as World Culture Heritage if Korea should be a unified nation.

  • This paper presents a Rotem's methodology for the establishment of train operation plan in Railway system. Train operation plan is the key prior plan to proceed the design of the civil and E&M relevant subsystem. But, due to the limitation of the environmental and project condition, common consensus to the key factors which make up the operation plan have not been accomplished. So, as a result of this comparative review for the general approaching method of train operation plan and application status of the major key factors being performed by Rotem, we will get the opportunities to improve the accuracy of the train operation plan.

  • The educational facilities is the facility wining the specific gravity which is the most abundant by 269s (25.5%) among the godfather lease application facilities (1056)s of the abolition of school. In case of reusing the closing down a school as the educational facilities there is no legal matter which is under the separate punishment in comparison with the other facility according to the materials of the Ministry of Environment in 2013, and I am analyze that minimum cost is spent on a remodeling and it is most much used. The pattern study thinks about a purpose with the master plan through the plan characteristic derivation according to the analysis of current situation of the domestic closing down a school application educational facilities in which the related study is nonexistent and type in the educational facilities plan of the closing down a school still afterward in being utilized for reference data and guide book.

  • This study has its purpose on analyzing the problems of data connection between general management institution and itemized management institution shown through the college information disclosure project and presenting the plan to substantialize data connection between general management institution and itemized management institution. To make close inquiry into the related problem and induce plans for substantialization, this study analyzed the previous related research data as well as the connection status of information disclosure item of Korea Foundation for the Promotion of Private School, the itemized management institution, to induce problems; induced substantialization plan for data connection of itemized connection institution. As for the substantialization plan based on such, plan to integrate schools and department codes, plan to automatize data connection and plan to secure reliability of information were established. It is anticipated that the plan to substantialize data connection between management institutions reckoned through the result of this study would be used as the basic data for information disclosure project providing various reliable information from Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, General management institution, itemized management institution and college.

Current Features of Apartment House Unit Plans towards Spatial Differentiation (공간 차별화 계획을 위한 공동주택 단위주호의 평면계획 특성 분석)

  • This study aims to analyze the current status and characteristics of apartment house unit plans towards spatial differentiation. The 172 house units from 32 housing complexes were selected for this analysis. In this study, factors of residential space plan especially in an apartment house are categorized into general characteristics on floor plan and factors for spatial floor plan. The Primary findings are as follows: (1) General characteristics on floor plan are analyzed based on space organization, area and number of bays. Among apartment houses over 40 pyeong, it seems that differentiation is well applied with various space plans available. (2) A result of an analysis on the factors for spatial floor plan shows that planning a living room with two-open-sides seems to be more common in the tower-shaped apartment blocks which are now on the increase. Moreover, many of them are adopting movable partitions to reflect resident's various demands on space plan. Among all, the extra kitchen in the balcony is planned high portion of 80.4%. And diningroom is positioned on the front side of the residential space along with a livingroom(19.2%). More frequently, dining area tends to face the living room(30.2%) according to the result. Besides dress rooms begin to be placed in each of the bedroom, once planned in one bedroom only while 18.6% of the apartment houses are placing new storages in the entrance to solve lack of storage space due to balcony extension.
