대도시 음시물쓰레기 재활용 방안 평가 (The Assessment of Recyc1ing of Garbage Discharged from Metropolitan City)

  • Community residents are tend to evade waste treatment facilities such as waste landfills, waste incinerators. Therefore, decision-makers of waste management are concerned about the reduction and recycling of food garbage. As a treatment alternative of food garbage which consists of 30% of municipal waste, producing compost and feed stuff from food garbage is environmentally amenable. In considering the characteristics of food garbage are putrid and high moisturized, methods of landfilling and incineration for food garbage are environmentally inadequate. For the institutionalization of food garbage recycling, separate discharge, establishment of collection system, securing of market for compost and feed stuff manufactured from food garbage, and tax and financial incentives for food garbage recycling facilities are necessary.

초등학교 급식시설 음식물쓰레기 재활용 실태 평가 (The Assessment of Recycling of Garbage Discharged from Primary Schools in Seoul)

  • Characteristics of food garbage discharged from primary schools in Seoul Metropolitan city were analysed from a recycling point of view. The results of study are epitomized as follows : 1. Factors of generation of food garbage are mainly an unbalanced diet habit, indifference of class teachers, and worn-out cooking equipments. 2. Measures of reduction are principally a written message to parents, broadcasting in the school, and instructions. 3. Methods of recycling are mainly feed stuff, composting by school itself, composting on commission, and making feed stuff on commission. 4. Obstacles of food garbage recycling are a nasty smell of composting apparatus, an excessive fuel consumption of composting apparatus, a high concentration of salt, and an unstable demand for feed stuff and compost produced from food garbage. 5. Correlation factors are like follows : the number of feeding children and food garbage weight after cooking is 0.35, total food garbage generated and monthly treatment cost of food garbage is 0.20, individual school lunch expenses and food garbage weight after cooking is -0.10, individual school lunch expenses and food garbage generated per capita is 0.02, and individual school lunch expenses and monthly treatment cost of food garbage is 0.03.

동아일보 기사 수, 단수, 내용을 통한 쓰레기 문제의 중요도 변천분석 : 1920-1990년사이 (The Changes of the Garbage Problem Importance through the Number of Articles, Column Headings and Contents of Dong A Ilbo)

  • Desolation of the earth due to environmental pollution is rising as a world wide problem and concern. At this point we need to look into the problem and set up a direction for the future. In order to reveal the change of garbage problems in our county's civil life, a researcher analyzed 369 garbage related articles from the first edition of Dong A Ilbo up to 1990. The following is the result of data from garbage related articles. It is organized by age and era(10 years). 1) Number of articles by year roses in 1921 after first publication of garbage problem article. In the 1930s, the number of articles drastically increased in 1937. From then on, the number of articles declined until early 1970s but roses again from 1978. 2) Yearly change in articles was a mere 1.2 columns in between 1920 to 1960. In the 1970's, relative importance increased and over 5 columns were published. Articles rose in the 1980s with over 3.4 and 5 columns. 3) The contents of the articles can be classified into cleaning problems, collecting and transporting, expenses, and recycling. Garbage disposal problems continued until the 1970s. Regarding garbage collecting problems, form of collecting container and location was discussed. Laws were revised after garbage disposal areas were discussed in the 1920s. Expenses were levied from the 1930s and rising cost and double charge problems were subjected. Garbage recycling began in the 1920s and continued until 1900s.

  • Purpose: This study seeks to develop behavior-induced automatic separation X-Bin for disposable cup speculators. Some students throw away the contents. Research design, data and methodology: Therefore, environmental beautification workers spend a lot of time sorting disposable cups at school garbage collection sites. Disposable cups that have been thrown away like this are bad in terms of appearance and smell. In addition, cleaning inside garbage affects recycling rates and is closely related to environmental problems. Results: Clean cleaning reduces the amount of garbage incinerated without being recycled and reduces the cost of recycling. According to Korean Social Trends 2020, COVID-19 began to spread, and recycling of disposable items such as disposable cups increased by about 15 percent from the same period last year. Conclusions: These are classified for recycling, and the amount of garbage thrown on the streets is estimated to be larger. In order to prevent COVID-19s, the use of disposable goods is inevitable, but facilities are needed to dispose of them properly.

가정의 음식물찌꺼기 분리수거 방안 도출을 위한 설문조사 연구 (Evaluation of People's Participation on Separate Collection of Garbage)

  • 본 연구에서는 가정에서의 음식물찌꺼기 분리 수거 방안을 구체적으로 제시하는 것을 목적으로 실질적으로 분리 수거의 주체가 될 각 가정의 배출자들을 대상으로 이들의 분리 수거에 대한 의식과 성향을 조사하였다. 설문 응답자들의 음식물찌꺼기 보관/배출/수거 주기에 대한 의견을 종합하면 음식물찌꺼기로 인한 냄새 발생 등을 최소하기 위해서는 매일 음식물찌꺼기를 버려야 하지만 자주 버리는 것으로 인한 번거로움도 있으므로 집안에서 2-3일간의 음식물찌꺼기를 현행 종량제 봉투와는 크기가 다른 비닐 봉투 등 별도의 음식물찌꺼기 용기에 모아 두었다 집밖의 분리 수거통에 배출하면 수거하는 쪽에서는 매일 분리 수거통에 모아진 음식물찌꺼기를 수거해가는 것으로 요약된다. 그리고 이때 사용되는 보관 및 배출 용기는 크기를 이틀 발생분(1.87L, 약 2L) 또는 3일 발생분(2.8L, 약 3L)의 두가지로 제작하는 것이 타당한 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 음식물찌꺼기의 보관 및 배출에 적당한 용기는 비닐 봉투가 좋다는 의견이 가장 많았으며 비닐 봉투는 일회용이라는 점이 응답자들의 선택에 큰 영향을 미친 것으로 판단되었다. 봉투의 적정 가격에 대한 조사결과 전용 봉투의 가격은 싸게 하면 분리수거에 효과가 있겠으나 발생량 감소에는 그 효과가 미지수이며 비싸게 하면 발생량 감소에 효과있는 반면 분리수거에는 역효과가 일어나는 문제가 있는 것으로 나타났으며 대안으로서 봉투를 2가지 형태로 판매하는 방식이 제시되었다.

생활쓰레기 재활용 문제점과 개선방안에 대한 연구 (A Study on the problems of daily wastes recycle and the improvement plan)

  • Conclusion and the improvement plan according to the survey on recycling wastes in 'the program of woman and environmental education' mainly for the chairwomen of the women's association of the apartment house in City and County of Chungchongnamdo during the first half of 1998 (from March tp April) are as follows. 1. Conclusion 1) It showed that the rate of recognition for recycle has no difference by regional groups and the rate of recognition is 57.4% but they mainly know vaguely or they do not know. 2) It showed that the rate they do not know how the separated wastes are recycled is 30.4% and the scope of their knowledge is approximative.(52.6%) 3) It showed that it is the housewives who mainly do the separate garbage collection (72.7%) and 19.1% of the people have no interest in the separate discharge. 4) It showed that the rate they filter the garbage or remove water from the garbage at house is 53.1%. And 20% of the people in the urban region dump untreated wastes but 8.5% of the people in the rural region do the same, so the rate of using garbage in the rural region is higher than that in the urban region. 5) It showed that the separate state of the garbage is 29.2% for the removal of toothpick and paper and 47.4% for the removal of vinyl and stopper. 6) It showed that 66.7% of the motive for recycling waste is the education activity for environment by the women's association and SAEMAEUL association and 34.5% of that is the influence of TV and radio. 7) It showed that the rate of making compost and feed using garbage in the rural region is higher than that in the urban region and in some urban regions, the rate they sprinkle the garbage in provisional compost state on the floor garden is high. 8) It showed that the recognition rate for the material of separately collected garbage corresponding to the separate waste system of 5-6 classification is 12.5% 9) It showed that the major variable which has an effect on the recycle is the education activity for environment by the neighborhood meeting(P<0.05) and by the women's association of saemaeul activity(P<0.05)

부분 가비지 컬렉션을 이용한 로그 구조 파일시스템의 쓰기 성능 개선 (Partial Garbage Collection Technique for Improving Write Performance of Log-Structured File Systems)

  • 최근 플래시 저장장치의 사용이 대중화되면서 플래시 저장장치의 특성에 맞는 로그 구조 파일시스템에 대한 관심도 높아지고 있다. 로그 구조 파일시스템은 사용자의 임의 쓰기를 파일시스템에서 순차 쓰기로 바꾸어 처리한다. 이 순차 쓰기를 유지하기 위해 파일시스템에서 가비지 컬렉션(Garbage Collection)을 해 주어야 하는데, 이때 오버헤드로 인해 쓰기 성능이 감소하는 것을 막기 위한 기법으로 SSR (Slack Space Recycling)이 제시되었다. 그런데, SSR은 임의 쓰기를 발생시키기 때문에, 임의 쓰기 성능이 낮은 저가형 저장장치에서 쓰기 성능을 감소시키는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 부분 가비지 컬렉션은 SSR방식으로 데이터를 기록하기 전에 유효한 블록들을 일부만 복사하여 옮김으로써 무효화 된 공간의 크기를 늘려 임의 쓰기 수를 줄여서 쓰기 성능을 증가시키는 기법으로, SD 카드에서 쓰기 성능을 최대 두 배 이상 증가시켰다.

SSD 기반 스토리지 시스템에서 중복률과 입출력 성능 향상을 위한 데이터 중복제거 및 재활용 기법 (Data De-duplication and Recycling Technique in SSD-based Storage System for Increasing De-duplication Rate and I/O Performance)

  • SSD(Solid State Disk)는 다수의 NAND 플래시 메모리로 구성되었으며 내부에 고성능 컨트롤러와 캐시 버퍼를 포함한 스토리지 장치이다. NAND 플래시 메모리는 제자리 덮어쓰기가 안되기 때문에 파일시스템에서 유효페이지가 갱신 및 삭제시 무효페이지로 전환되어 완전히 삭제하기 위해서는 가비지 컬렉션 과정을 거쳐야한다. 하지만 가비지 컬렉션은 지연시간이 긴 Erase 연산을 포함하기 때문에 SSD의 I/O 성능을 감소시키고 마모도를 증가시키는 문제가 된다. 본 논문에서는 입력데이터에 대하여 유효데이터와 무효데이터에서 중복검사를 실행하는 기법을 제안한다. 먼저 유효데이터에 대한 중복제거 과정을 거치고 그 다음에 무효데이터 재활용 과정을 거침으로써 중복률을 향상시켰다. 이를 통하여 SSD의 쓰기 횟수와 가비지 컬렉션 횟수를 감소시켜 마모도와 I/O 성능이 개선되었다. 실험결과 제안한 기법은 유효데이터 중복제거와 무효데이터 재활용을 둘다 하지 않는 일반적인 경우에 비해서 가비지 컬렉션 횟수가 최대 20% 감소하고 I/O 지연시간이 9% 감소하였다.

음식물쓰레기의 재활용에 관한 시민의식 조사 (Citizen's Attitude to Recycling of Food Waste)

  • 서울시민을 대상으로 퇴비화 및 퇴비에 대한 일반시민의 의식조사를 실시하였다. 대부분의 시민들이 음식물쓰레기의 처리문제를 심각한것으로 인식하고 있었으며 응답자의 91.9%가 음식물쓰레기로 퇴비를 만들수 있다는 사실을 알고 있었다. 또한 화학비료보다 음식물쓰레기로 만든 퇴비를 선호하고 있었으며 가축분뇨로 만든 퇴비보다 음식물쓰레기로 만든 퇴비의 품질을 더 좋게 생각하고 있었다. 그리고 화학비료를 주고 재배한 채소보다 퇴비를 주고 재배한 채소를 좋게 생각하고 있었으며 10~20%정도의 비싼가격을 감수할 의사가 있었다. 또한 대다수의 사람들이 퇴비화를 위한 분리배출에 대해 협조할 의사를가지고 있었으며 음식물쓰레기는 소각이나 매립보다 퇴비화로 처리해야 한다고 생각하고 있었다.

  • This study is conducted to examine the ways to reduce the garbage amount by effective recycling food wastes in the cooking. The data is collected from 864 housewives who live in Seoul/Sungnam/Choongju by using questionnaires from 24 November 1997 to 5 January 1998. The results are as follows; The level of their needs of reusing food wastes in the cooking is high but the level of their participation and its satisfaction to reuse housewives is low. Especially they take part in reusing the garbage in pre-treatment less than edibile plate wastes. These factors result from lacking of their consciousness and knowledge of methods to reuse food wastes. Therefore it is said that consumer should make an effort themselves to participate in reusing food waste researcher should search the way to efficiently reuse the food waste and government should found the policy to provide information and education program for reusing food waste. The more seriously they perceive food waste reuse the mo e they want the way to accelerate food waste reuse by consumer researcher and government.
