This study has an objective to analyze economic impact of building game industrial complex in Incheon. There are few studies about economic impact of game industry, despites of the high expectations for game industry development as important cultural content in the regional economy. Therefore, this study gives value as an intuitive analysis in terms of understanding the game industry. Regional input-output analysis was conducted based on construction sector, game related manufacturing and game related service sector in case of fulfilling establishment of game industrial complex in the Incheon Free Economic Zone. From results of this study, we find out the importance of game industry's effects on both regional and national level and it is expected a big impact on the future direction of related studies.
The aim of this study is to suggest the strategy and policy to promote world class game industrial complex through the analysis of game contents business ecosystem in Seongnam. As a result of analysis, At present of the game contents industry in Seongnam as ecosystem is challenged in many-side as followings. 1)Lack of interaction between core game contents businesses and extended network businesses in same area. 2)Imbalanced relationships between game contents conglomerate and small and medium sized businesses. 3)Insufficient game contents optimized human resource and development program. This study provides a stepping stone for regional industrial ecosystem of game industry and new possibilities of application about regional industry analysis.

Over the past few years, a considerable number of studies have been conducted on modeling the bargaining game using artificial agents on within-model interaction. However, very few attempts have been made at study on between-model interaction. This paper investigates the interaction and co-evolutionary process among heterogeneous artificial agents in the bargaining game. We present two kinds of the artificial agents participating in the bargaining game. They play some bargaining games with their strategies based on genetic algorithm (GA) and reinforcement learning (RL). We compare agents' performance between two agents under various conditions which are the changes of the parameters of artificial agents and the maximal number of round in the bargaining game. Finally, we discuss which agents show better performance and why the results are produced.

The purpose of this study is to design and develop a mobile game using J2ME, which is currently the most popular choice for game development to understand the process of mobile game development and to develop methods that address weaknesses of J2ME. The development was done with the Eclipse IDE(Integrated Development Environment) tool to simplify mobile game development by removing the need for complex commands and installation processes which are intrinsic to the DOS command Batch file arid J2ME Wireless Toolkit when used for the implementation of java mobile games. Literature was also reviewed on mobile game environments, the structures of J2ME Platform, and past research on mobile games, to investigate which parts of J2ME are important to the characteristics of mobile game development and how to implement these important parts when developing.

This study analyzed the characteristics of the management crisis, the level of resilience, and the alternatives based on the companies' self-evaluation of the game industry in Daegu. The Daegu game industry, which started spontaneously in the late 1990s, grew rapidly until the late 2000s with the support of the government and supporting organizations. However, from the mid-2010s, it has entered a period of recession due to the number of companies that failed to respond to the saturation of the mobile game market and fierce competition at home and abroad. In response, some game companies turned the crisis into an opportunity to strengthen their competitiveness by pursuing challenging strategies for product differentiation and pioneering new markets. On the other hand, companies that were passive in responding to the crisis have not get out of the management crisis. In addition, in terms of the resilience level of game companies in Daegu, the level of immediate response to shock(rapidity) and replacement of the damaged part(redundancy) was low, but the level of mobilizing sufficient resources internally(resourcefulness) was high. However, as the Daegu game industry is facing more complex multi-spatial-scale environmental changes than in the past, its resilience should be strengthened through strategies that can compensate for weaknesses in terms of the game industry ecosystem beyond individual company-level efforts.

In this paper, we propose a win-win network operating platform for mobile games. The characteristics of the service structure suggested is to form a marketing network that can influence the mobile game market by linking with the mobile game industry, and the excellent game content of the game developer in the industrial complex may not disappear. We also would like to propose a network operating platform that would help it enter the market area steadily. The proposed platform technology is used to distribute rapidly through a win-win network between game companies and publishers. When new games are commercialized, they can support continuous target marketing through various data indicators and analytics by the developed platform. In particular, G-Cross marketing strategy is considered to be a low-cost, high-efficiency marketing method in that it can provide users with information about new games by utilizing the given game infrastructure and utilize the user group possessed by each game company.
It is said that today is an era of total cord characterized by the transition from the industrial society to the knowledge based and information one. In this age of total cord, the most complex media production is the game industry. In the game industry, game character as one of the elements of game production is the most important because it contains visual elements created through interaction with a user. Initial creation of characters in the game industry is considered having the most value-adding element. Character creation in game production begins with basic drawings, like a diffusive property of the production elements, and proceeds to complicated 2D game character illustration and 3D game character production. In addition, only when driving forces for game development such as individuality and virtual reality are based on different mind cord from existing one, foundation for it will be firmly established. Therefore, it is clear that understanding of the Importance of character illustration and original drawings in the game production is essential to successfully produce more perfect 3D game characters.

Competitive coevolution models, often called host-parasite models, are searching models that imitate the biological coevolution that is a series of reciprocal changes in two competing species. The models are known to be an effective method of solving complex and dynamic problems such as game problems, neural network design problems and constraint satisfaction problems. However, previous models consider only ectoparasites that live on the outside of the host when designing the models, not considering endoparasites that live on the inside of the host. This has a limitation to exploiting some information. In this paper, we develop an artificial adaptation model simulating the process in which hosts coevolve with both ectoparasites and endoparasites. In the model, the endoparasites play important roles as follows. By means of them, we can keep the history on results of previous competition between hosts and parasites, and use endogeneous fitness, not exogeneous. Extensive experiments are carried out to show the coevolution phenomenon and to verify the performance of the proposed model. Nim game problems and neural network problems are used as test-bed problems. The results are reported in this paper.
In general, triangular meshes have been used for modeling geometric objects such as virtual game characters. The dense meshes give us considerable advantages in representing complex, highly detailed objects, while they are more expensive for storing, transmitting and rendering the objects. Therefore, several researches have been performed for producing a high quality approximation in place of detailed objects, that is, a simplification of triangular meshes. In this paper, we propose a new measure with respect to edges and vertices, which is called an approximate mean curvature and is used as criteria to simplify an original mesh. An edge mean curvature is computed by considering its neighboring edges, and a vertex mean curvature is defined as an average of its incident edges' mean curvatures. And we apply the proposed measure to simplify the models such as a bunny, dragon and teeth. As a result, we can see that the mean curvatures can be used as good criteria for providing much better approximation of models.
In this study, we suggest a multi-generation Lotka-Volterra model, which is a competition model using game theory and complex system theory. The suggested model shows many improvements to weakness of a well known Bass model to forecast new technology in competitive markets. We show that the Lotka-Volterra model has strong power to forecast mobile communication services when it is used for competition of 1st generation mobile phone service and 2nd generation phone service in Korea. We finally use the model to forecast IMT-2000 service, the 3rd generation mobile communication service.
