In this study, assuming that there is a diagonal uniaxial compression field in combination with triangular homogeneous stress fields in the cracked concrete wall and a tensile stress of a steel plate occurs in the perpendicular to the direction of the diagonal compression field, an ultimate shear strength of a slender composite shear wall is estimated.

Excessive daytime sleepiness in childhood might be abnormal phenomenon and often related to the sleep disorders or insufficient sleep duration. The most common cause of excessive daytime sleepiness would be insufficient sleep. However, narcolepsy, idiopathic hypersomnia, circadian rhythm sleep disorders, medication, medical illness and other sleep disorders that could cause insomnia and poor quality of sleep also result in excessive daytime sleepiness. The misdiagnosed and untreated excessive daytime sleepiness in childhood can lead to serious developmental and educational problem.

Firms spend enormous efforts identifying current processes and understanding the related details before establishing new business processes in their business process redesign (BPR) projects. Considering excessive efforts required during the analysis phase and limited support to BPR projects, need for a better method is evident This article describes a method of modeling enterprise business processes bayed on common business forms. By identifying form operations and form field types, the proposed method provides redesign view on the information handling as well as the current process flows in the form of an Event-Process Chain (EPC) diagram.

There is a growing tendency to consider organizational learning as a mechanism for improving organizations and the rate at which organizations learn becomes perceived as a source for attaining competitive advantage. The objective of this research is to present a two-phase(learning efficient, and learning-effective) organizational modeling methodology based on the cognitive-maps and agents concept, and to describe how the result of the modeling can be used in the organizational learning context.

The authors observed a case of Cherubism from 8 year-old boy who visited the Dept. of Oral Radiology in S.N.U.H. The patient complained of painless, bilateral swelling on mandibular angle area. Radiologically, sharply defined multiocular radiolucencies are found at both mandibular angle and maxillary posterior area. Another lesion is found at mandibular symphysis area. Interestingly, patient did not show 'look toward heaven' appearance in spite of maxillary involovment. The purpose of this paper if to describe the characteristic clinical, radiological and histopathological feature of the patient without familial involvement.

Floating sleepers in a ballasted track increase both track deterioration and track irregularities. Consequently, a considerable maintenance work is required and maintenance cycle is shortened due to the floating sleepers. This paper quantifies the degrees of void between the floating sleepers and a ballast bed. In the future, the influence of floating sleepers on the track will be investigated by an analytical method using a dynamic model.
