Application of FRF-Based Substructuring to Optimization of Interior Noise in Vehicle (실차 소음 최적화를 위한 주파수 응답 함수 합성법의 적용)

  • The hybrid CAE/CAT methods are widely applied to product development in various fields because this method can predict the response of the whole system when a part of the system is changed. Especially, the hybrid CAE/CAT method is very useful to predict tile vehicle NVH characteristics after changing some parts of the vehicle. Target parts can be established on the basis of test models and FE models of the prototype constructed in the planning stage of car development. In this study, the topic was focused on the proper test-based FBS application process to predict vehicle NVH characteristic. First, the test-based FBS method was apply to vehicle substructure and car-body. And then the test-based model was replaced with FE model to apply hybrid CAE/CAT method. The replaced FE model was modified through the optimization process. The interior noise in vehicle during the drive was predicted with Modified FE model, then the predicted results were verified by experimenting with actual modified model.

  • The Substructure Synthesis means the technology to predict the dynamic properties of an assembly from the properties of its components, or to predict the effect of a modification on a structure. The FRF Based Substructuring method is a kind of the Substructure Synthesis and very useful to predict the efficiency of the product in the early stage of development. Especially, the Hybrid FBS method is very useful to predict the vehicle NVH characteristics after modifying some components of the vehicle. Target components can be established on the basis of test models and FE models of the prototype constructed in the early stage of development. In this study, the Hybrid FBS method was applied to vehicle subframe and car-body in order to reduce vehicle interior noise induced by engine exciting force.

Radio Resource Management using a Game Theoretic Approach Method in Heterogeneous Wireless Networks (이종 네트워크 환경에서 게임 이론적 접근방법을 이용한 무선 자원관리)

  • With the development of wireless network technologies, mobile users may use various networks easily and expect more advanced services. On the other hand, it may bring on some problems with network resource management that should lead the service provider to improve the current service quality and manage the network resource efficiently. This paper proposes the optimized radio resource management (RRM) scheme that integrates the Grey Relational Analysis (GRA) and game theory. The first applies the GRA to determine the Grey Relation Coefficient (GRC) factors that represent the network preference, and the network provider then selects the requested service that provide maximum payoff through Nash Equilibrium. Six requested services that have one application service among four different types of service classes were considered and the game was played repeatedly. In WiMAX, WLAN 1 and WLAN 2 game, the maximum payoff of each players was 93, 90.6 and 92.8 respectively. The experimental results show that every requested service can be selected by the network provider. Consequently, the proposed radio resource management mechanism is more effective in heterogeneous wireless networks.

  • 본 논문에서는 댐핑이 고려된 전력계통에서 동요시 안정도를 향상시킬 수 있는 확장된 PI제어를 이용한 조속기 제어기를 제안하였다. 전력계통에서의 동요는 대부분 고장기간 동안에 발전기에 저장된 과잉운동에너지에 의해 발생한다. 계통이 안정하도록 하기 위해서 과잉에너지를 효과적으로 다루려면 보통 직접법을 사용된다. 과잉에너지를 제어하기 위한 직접적인 방법으로는 LFC(Load Frequency Control)의 궤한이 활용된다. 확장된 PI제어 방식이 적용된 제어기는 지역내에서와 지역사이에서의 동요를 감쇄시키기 위한 조속기에 적용될 수 있다 또한 제안된 제어기는 조속기에 스팀밸브 제한 조건이나 발전율 제약조건(Generation Rate Constraint; GRC)과 같은 특이점이 존재할 때에도 우수한 성능을 보여주었다. 시뮬레이션은 두지역의 다기계통에서 부하를 변화시켜가며 실시하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 제안된 PI 제어기를 기존의 PI 제어기와 비교하여 매우 향상된 성능을 보여주었다.
