The system requirement definition, system configuration, major parameters for GNSS ground station development are presented in this paper. GNSS ground station system consists of the GNSS sensor station, up link station and monitoring & control system. The GNSS sensor station consists of navigation receiver subsystem which process the GPS and Galileo navigation signal, automic clock subsystem, meteorological data receiving subsystem and navigation data processing subsystem. To communicate the error correction of navigation fate, GNSS sensor station interface with GNSS Control Center.

In the deeply coupled GPS/INS integrated systems, if the integration filter update period is longer than the period of GPS navigation data, the loss of correlation values occurs due to the bit transition. This problem can be resolved when data wipe off(DWO) is used. However, general DWO methods requires heavy computation or cannot be applied continuously. This paper proposes an effective DWO method using carrier phase discriminator In order to show validity of the proposed method, simulations were carried out. The simulation results show that the data bit is accurately estimated and conform that the loss of correlation values and the error of code phase is small.

Galileo is the Europe's global navigation satellite system corresponding to the GPS. The GIOVE-A test experiment has been finished and the second test satellite GIOVE-B will be launched soon. The integration of GPS and Galileo lead an increase of visible satellite number. We can obtain an improved navigation performance in signal blocked area such as urban or forest. GPS and Galileo have each time-coordinate system and use the different error model to calculate the navigation solution. In this paper, we studied on GPS and Galileo channel error model and time-coordinate system. Using this result, we implement the integrated navigation algorithm. In simulation, we analyzed the navigation error caused by time and coordinate disagreement and verified performance of integrated navigation algorithm in terms of visible satellite number, DOP(Dilution of Pression) and position error.

Pseudolite is a contraction of the term "pseudo-satellite", used to refer to something that is not a satellite which performs a function commonly in the domain of satellites. Pseudolite are most often small transceivers that are used to create a local, ground-based GPS alternative. Pseudo-range measurement of pseudolite has around 300m range error, when time synchronization error of $1{\mu}sec$ occurs. Therefore the time synchronization methods play an important part in navigation augmentation using pseudolite. This paper proposes three clock synchronization methods that are installation method of pseudolite station, method using KRISS-UTC and method using PRN code phase difference for pseudolite. The simulation platform structure is presented for evaluating proposed clock synchronization performance.

Providing a precise positioning information is the primary characteristics of GPS. The relative positioning technique which utilizes the common measurements between a GPS reference station and a user is generally used to do the generation of a precise positioning. But if user is far from a GPS reference site, the properties of medium penetrated by GPS signals will be different from each other, It is difficult to eliminate the error sources such as the ionosphere and the troposphere effectively by the double differencing method. In this study the additional error correction values with the ionosphere and the troposphere to the data processing have applied. As a result, the positioning accuracy of fourteen out of seventeen testing sites were improved by appling the error correction values. We also analysed the improved rate of the positioning accuracy by the baseline.

Collapses of cutting area have frequently occurred due to heavy rainfall caused by the recent unusual weather patterns. Collapses of cutting area have the most crucial influence on the damaged property and casualties. Therefore, formulating and preparing an effective measures and control system is urgent. For this reason, in this study, we researched formation investigation method of location-based cutting area for an efficient management of cutting area. We conducted comparative and analytic research on the hand GPS method and DGPS method which is GPS augmentation system, using SBAS signals. The results of the research showed that there was difficult in discerning the accurate shape of cutting area when the existing method was used; however, the detecting the shape of four sides and accurate location was possible when DGPS was used. Consequently, it is possible to establish a preventive measures for cutting area, which considers the condition of the surrounding environment of cutting area because the polygon based management of incision cliff is attainable, apart from the existing control point based approach.

Michibiki is the first QZSS satellite, which was launched by a H-IIA rocket departing from the Tanegshima in Japan on 11 September, 2010 and now operated successfully. This paper presents the results obtained from processing of the L1 C/A signal transmitted from the QZSS satellite. The acquisition and tracking are performed by the L1 software receiver implemented by ETRI. The signal processing results show that QZSS L1 C/A signal is normally processed through the tracking loop results of FLL, PLL, and DLL, the EPL correlator output, and the C/No output. Finally, the paper demonstrates that the QZSS satellite could be used in the navigation system together with the GPS satellite in Korea.

Launch of the first Quasi-Zentih Satellite System (QZSS) satellite, dubbed Michibiki, took place September 11, 2010 and technical and application verification of the satellite is being carried out. This paper presents the results obtained from processing of the L5 signal transmitted from the QZSS satellite. The QZSS L5 signal is collected in ETRI, Korea. And then, the acquisition and tracking are performed by the L5 software receiver implemented by ETRI. The tracking loop of FLL, PLL, and DLL, the EPL correlator output, and the C/No output results show that the QZSS L5 signal is normally processed. Finally, the paper demonstrates that the QZSS L5 signal could be used as GPS satellite based augmentation system in Korea as well as Japan.
